There can be various reasons for the same. It may be due to work pressure or study pressure or some fight with a colleague or wife etc.

We try different things in order to get relaxed. But very often a question comes in mind that is there any permanent remedy to overcome these small problems?

I was also going through this situation and one night my friend suggested me to start practicing yoga. Then onwards I started practicing it and believe me Yoga changed whole of my life.

We come across this word “Yoga” many times in our life. Now, I am going to tell you what exactly Yoga means .In Sanskrit, the term 'yoga' stands for 'union'. The basic idea of yoga is to unite the atma or individual soul with the paramatma or the Universal Soul. The unity of both of the souls results in the feelings of deep relaxation and self control within the individual. In simple words we can say that yoga is an ancient art invented by Maharishi Patanjali. The basic aim of Yoga being the full fitness of a person in the terms of body, mind and soul.

Now lets see what miracles practicing Yoga can do in our daily life.

Yoga keeps us physically and mentally fit.
Yoga helps in curing lethal diseases like Diabetes, H.B.P., Angina, Blockages in Arteries, Obesity, Asthma, Bronchitis, Leucoderma, Depression, Parkinson, Insomnia, - Migraine, Thyroid, Arthritis, Cervical Spondalities, Hepatitis, Chronic Renal Failure, Cancer, Cirrhosis of Liver, Gas, Constipation, Acidity etc. which are still a challenge in modern medical science.
Yoga gives us new freshness and energy in daily life by giving body, breath and mind to stretch, relax and energize.
Yoga is responsible for the Body cleansing and purification of the blood. This helps us in maintaining a natural glow on our face.
Yoga keeps immune system of the body very strong, which gives us the strength to fight against diseases.
Yoga helps in improving our concentration.

Now, after going through all the benefits of yoga, here comes a question in the mind how to practice and where to practice it.
Well, Yoga is a combination of some Yoga poses (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation and chanting. To learn Yoga, a person can contact any specialized Yoga teacher or Guru. Another source of learning Yoga being various Yoga learning CDs, DVds coming in the market especially of Baba Ramdev. There are various Yoga based programs broadcasted on various TV channels, which can be another good source of learning Yoga.

For a normal person practicing Yoga 1 hour a day is enough, that too in the morning. The persons who are suffering from some kind of diseases like Diabetes, H.B.P., Angina, Blockages in Arteries, Obesity, Asthma, Arthritis etc should practice Yoga between one and a half hours to two hours.

It’s always advisable to practice yoga only 4-5 hours after meals keeping in mind that one’s stomach and bowels are empty. Practicing Yoga depends on person to person. Some people practice it only in 1 session; some do it in 2 different sessions, 1 in morning and the other 1 in evening. If we talk about Prayanam, for Kapalbhati exercise its essential to have 4-5 hours of gap after meals. Other forms of Pranayam like anulom vilom, Ujjayee, Bhasrika, Bhramri etc can be practiced even after 2 hours of gap after meals.
So, a person practicing Yoga can adjust his time accordingly whether he wants to do it in one session or two.
Now Yoga can be practiced either in a park or some cool and quiet place that may be one’s own room as well.

Now comes the diet part while practicing Yoga, which is very important and crucial too. From the yoga perspective, it is mandatory to eat small quantities of high quality foods. The high quality foods are those, which promote the life force of the body without producing toxins. The recommended foods are fruits, vegetables, whole grains and nuts.
Taking alcohol and non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited otherwise practicing yoga will not be advantageous at all.

In the end, I would like to quote only one thing that practice yoga daily for make live life happily.
