The meaning of the word yoga is "to join or yoke together". The reason for this meeting is because yoga is supposed to combine your mind, body, spirit in order to better your body. The hot yoga benefit is that it can act as a powerful way to prevent or alleviate certain medical conditions. For example it's been seen that regular usage of yoga has helped people with high blood pressure, asthma, depression, arthritis, obesity, and many other things.

There are different kinds of schools of yoga. For example, Hatha yoga is currently one of the more widely practiced forms of exercise. Hatha yoga has a wide variety of movements, body postures, and breathing techniques. In order to maximize your hot yoga benefits you should practice the three main aspects of yoga, which are Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing), and meditation. Studies have shown that asthma attacks have been prevented by practicing yoga without having to use medication. Yoga routines can be as effective as weight lifting workouts for burning fat. In addition to these, there have been numerous other studies being conducted to see whether or not they can help with other diseases or physical conditions.

Divine Wellness is an interactive health portal that provides you with information on Yoga exercises and techniques. Ayurveda is from the roots “ayur” meaning life and “veda” meaning knowledge. There are several aspects of this system of medicine which distinguish it from other approaches to health care:

Ayurveda focuses on integrating and balancing the body, mind, and spirit, rather than focusing on individual symptoms. This helps in preventing illness and promotes wellness by balancing the three main substances known as Doshas - Vatha, Pitta and Kapha. As per the philosophy of Ayurveda, health problems can result when relationships between these three are out of balance.

Ayurveda, herbs, metals, massage, and other products and techniques are used with the intent of cleansing the body and restoring balance. Some of these products may be harmful when used on their own or when used with conventional medicines. It recognizes the unique constitutional differences of all individuals and therefore recommends different regimens for different types of people. Although two people may appear to have the same outward symptoms, their energetic constitutions may be very different and therefore call for different remedies.

Ayurveda is a complete medical system that recognizes all intelligence and energy flows through an ultimate source known as “Paramatman”. Individual health depends upon the Absolute acting through the laws of Nature. Ayurveda assists Nature by promoting harmony between the individual and Nature by living a life of balance according to its laws.

Ayurveda is mush different from traditional Western Medicine system. Ayurvedic Medicine is non-invasive and focuses on the individual's needs and prevention of the primary cause of the disease. On the other hand, in western system, one has to take prescribed drugs for symptoms that might have a different source results into nothing. That’s why Ayurveda is gaining popularity and have been practiced by millions worldwide.

You don’t need yoga classes. May be you tried, but were not very successful. Or, it’s not your kind of stuff. Who would want to try all those uncomfortable poses and positions just to stay fit? The burning question which is generally asked by several modern physicians is that Yoga is not an experimental verified therapy, so how come an individual applies it in his life. There might be some hidden risks and side-effects which are yet unknown.

The answer is fair and simple. Yoga has been practiced since ancient times and such an ancient therapy survived in the modern world only after rendering its powerful and effective healing. It is known that there are ample proofs of its success; usually, anyone practicing yoga is found to be healthy, both physically and mentally. One has not really heard of cases reporting the side-effects of yoga.

But, there is an issue which needs to be emphasized. Though it is simple to practice yoga, it demands expert help, that is, a professional who could teach and aid an individual to calm his body or mind. That’s why it is extremely important to perform yoga exercises in the supervision of a qualified expert. Just do it the right way and enjoy a healthy life.

Taoist Yoga – The Latest Fad in Yogic Practice

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 175px; height: 175px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf5wi4w1PLkJ3aO8Mok2e7-IH930GcUlVHDxnM_kFINm8OyW5yjmUSLNfe0QvI9TYeH3gSbFxuZxEWThJh40S8YSAn428z_PBjpSZfyJ9GQ46lxj2gldEgmVbJXcUfpjRzHujgjAlhUS4/s400/hatha.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432145870072043298" />
The ancient Yogic art of mind-body harmony, referred to as Taoist Yoga, is being pursued with renewed vigour today. Many practitioners are showing a keen interest in learning more about this practice. In fact, it’s quite a fad these days, especially with people looking at attaining holistic health and wellness.

Taoist Yoga is all about balancing, strengthening and healing the body with the help of gentle movements, stretches, breath work, visualisation and meditation. In practice for over thousand years now, this Yogic form is a part of the tradition of Tao Yin of the Han Dynasty in China. It has, with time, witnessed a number of developments and refinements.

Exhaustive methods of self-healing and spiritual development have been discovered by way of Taoist Yoga. It has three fundamental goals:
• Increasing the circulation of vital energy in our body
• Creating awareness of the subtleties of our body, breath and mind and strengthening the relationship between them
• Increasing physical flexibility and strength through full ranges of motion

Taoist Yoga’s postures and exercises are quite different from other common yogic forms. However, the inherent element of ‘Three Regulations’ – Regulation of Posture, Regulation of Breath, and Regulation of Health/Mind – causes one to draw similarities between Taoist and Hatha Yoga.

In essence, the most crucial aspect of Taoist Yoga is the stress it puts on nurturing of vital energy in the body. This practice has helped quite a few yoga practitioners set amazing standards of self-healing, self-rejuvenation and longevity.

My Favourite Yoga Pose for Amazing Health Benefits

Yoga is beneficial in every which way that it is pursued. However, there are certain poses that help you more than the others; obviously, this choice depends on individual preferences. Although each one of the yoga poses has its own benefits, my absolute favourite is the one that helps me attain high levels of wellbeing by strengthening my upper body and the back, in particular.

How to try this pose?
Start on all fours with your hands at a shoulder’s distance from each other. Your knees should be under your hips with your toes pointing directly back. Lift your belly to support your back and keep your spine in a neutral position. Take your right arm up so that it is at level with the rest of the body. When you are in this position, your fingers should be pointing straight ahead. Then, reach your left leg back with toes pointing backwards.

The arm, body and leg should seem like one long line. Hold yourself in this position for about ten breaths. Then, release and repeat with the left arm and right leg. Try this yoga pose for about five times each side and you will soon be able to feel the benefits that it carries. It is a sure-shot means of increasing your energy levels and strengthening the core parts of your body.

Attend online yoga classes through High definition video conferencing

Yoga has become quite popular with people all over the world. In certain cases, it leads to suicide. But now, with the help of herbal alternative medicine, even the most severe forms of depression are curable. The success also depends upon instilling the confidence in the patient that there are options available. Learning about those options and applying them to patient’s individual situation is the key to recovery. It can be a little challenging to deal with anxiety and depression. However, a combined approach tailored to patient’s individual needs can prove to be most beneficial.

You need to discover the cause of patient’s anxiety or depression. If he/she is dealing with an underlying medical condition, it is important to treat that condition first. Hypothyroidism, anemia and poor diets also contribute to depression. Keep in mind that the severity of your depression decides the intensity of the treatment you should pursue.

One should not only depend upon prescribed medicines alone to cure depression. While these medications can be helpful in certain situations, they also have side effects. Wherever you go, chances are pretty good that your local gym or nearest health centre offers yoga classes. It has emerged as a very popular discipline among wellness seekers due to its comprehensive approach and easy techniques.

If you are new to Yoga, choosing an appropriate class can be puzzling. There are many yoga types in practice today. Each one has a different focus and different set of procedures.

While choosing the right Yoga class you should first determine your goal. Is it fat reduction or weight loss? Do you need to correct body posture? Or Are you interested to derive the spiritual benefits through yoga? There are different Yoga exercises that aim to improve your body strength and flexibility. Some exercises are more meditative, aiming to develop your concentration and to smooth mind functioning. Depending upon your goal, choose a yoga type for you. Do not follow random suggestions by anyone.

There are a few yoga exercises that are physically exhausting and more difficult than others. Hence, your current physical condition is quite importance in your selection of yoga class. For example, some asanas would require you to do inverted postures like headstands. If you suffer from an ear problem or hypertension, doing such exercises can be harmful to your health.

Selecting a good yoga instructor also needs to be done very carefully. The instructor should be sensitive to your limitations. But you need to tell your instructor about any health problems that you are suffering from. On the basis of that information, your instructor would devise a special program involving only the exercises that are suitable for you.

At Divine wellness, we provide interactive Yoga classes, videos and information on Yoga exercises to treat common ailments like depression, blood pressure, hypertension, joints pain, acme, allergies, bronchitis etc.

Keep blood pressure in control by practicing yoga

The healing power of yoga has been known for centuries. In India, yoga is used to treat many diseases and conditions. It combines body, mind and spirit and synchronizes them to one entity instead of three separate ones. This allows for healing to be received and accepted. Thousands of people have been able to control their blood pressure by using yoga and practicing asanas.

To control high blood pressure, forward bends are the most effective. They can help you lower the blood pressure. These exercises also have a calming effect on the brain; the blood circulation to the brain is normalized, and stress is reduced from the sense organs, which lowers the blood pressure. The entire sympathetic nervous system and sense organs are relaxed, and pulse rate decelerate at the same time, that stabilizes the blood pressure.

Other asanas that have beneficial effects on the nervous system and help you lower blood pressure are Uttanasana and Adhomukha Svanasana. These asanas help in free circulation of blood into the aortic arch, thus helping to maintain a normal blood pressure.

Baddhakonasana and Virasana are some of the sitting asanas which can be practiced in order to get a lower blood pressure by the hypertensives, which in most cases are hard breathing. These poses eliminate the tension from the ribs and the intercostal muscles, so they help you to breathe with no difficulty, and normalize the blood pressure.

Other useful poses are supine poses, like Supta Baddhakonasana, which, by relaxing the abdominal region, and so the entire body, bring calm on the nerves.

Divine Wellness is an interactive health portal that offers online classes for blood pressure yoga and natural high blood pressure cures to provide interactive sessions, videos and information on yoga. Scientists and researchers suggest different methods to combat the disease. The treatment of diabetes using herbs and natural supplements has emerged as an effective option. Diabetes herbal treatment is quite easy and effective. Here are some suggestions you can follow to treat diabetes the herbal way.

One should eat a diet rich in fiber which not only helps the body absorb sugars slowly but also keeps blood sugar levels normal. There are a range of fruits and vegetables available that are rich in fiber. The soluble fiber is very effective in stabilizing blood sugar levels, and found in abundance in apples, apricots, beets, berries, carrots, citrus fruits, parsnips, and winter squash. Oats are also a good source of soluble fiber and their bran makes a good addition to cereals and baked goods. Soluble fiber is also helpful in lowering LDL (Low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol levels, a serious problem in many people with diabetes.

Diabetes herbal treatment also calls for the consumption of garlic and onions in large quantities. These are very helpful in lowering the LDL (Low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol and raise HDL (High-density lipoprotein) cholesterol and prevent heart disease. People with diabetes are prone to heart diseases because the lack of insulin causes higher levels of insulin which causes heart ailments. Add more vegetables to your diet and be moderate in taking sweet fruits to get a rich array of antioxidants such as vitamin C, the carotenes, etc. Antioxidants help prevent fats from oxidizing that cause damage to artery walls which can lead to plaque buildup and heart disease.

There are a number of evidences to suggest that the use carefully chosen herbal remedies and dietary supplements can help preventing diabetes and to keep it under control. Diabetes herbal treatment and correct life style changes can reduce or eliminate the need for medication in diabetics. It also helps in preventing some of the tissue and organ damage associated with uncontrolled blood sugar levels.

You can browse through the Internet for all kinds of information on popular diabetes herbal treatment. Divine Wellness, a popular online health and wellness portal, helps users understand the importance of diabetes herbal cure. It is not just cost-effective, but also has fewer side effects in comparison to regular medication.

Onions and Garlic are quite effective in Diabetes Herbal Cure

Commonly used vegetables, Onion and Garlic, scientifically known as Allium Cepa and Allium Sativum respectively, are quite effective in Diabetes herbal cure. These are very helpful in lowering blood sugar levels. They contain ingredients like Allyl Propyl Disulphide (APDS) and Diallyl Disulphide Oxide (allicin) and certain flavonoids, which play a significant role in curing the disease while keeping the blood circulation at a normal level.

Onions are a good source of the mineral chromium, needed for glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity. Onions can fulfill 20 percent of your daily chromium requirement in one cup, and fight against diabetes and heart disease. There are scientific evidences to suggest that APDS, found in Onions, lowers glucose levels by competing with insulin for insulin-inactivating points in the liver. This results in an increase of free insulin. APDS, administered in doses of 125 mg/ kg to fasting humans, was found to cause a marked fall in blood glucose levels and an increase in serum insulin. Allicin doses of 100 mg/kg produced a similar effect.

Researches and studies suggest that Onion extract reduces blood sugar levels during oral and intravenous glucose tolerance. The effect improved as the dosage was increased. The effects were similar in both raw and boiled onion extracts. Onions affect the hepatic metabolism of glucose and increase the release of insulin to prevent insulin's destruction, thereby helping in the herbal treatment of diabetes.

Garlic is helpful in preventing any damages to your kidneys, blood vessels, skin and eyes, which are usually caused by diabetes. Garlic slows down the glycation process that happens due to high blood sugar levels. Other additional benefits of the garlic and diabetes interaction are connected to its cardiovascular effects. Heart disease and stroke are among the most terrible diabetes complications when you have uncontrolled diabetes.

The additional benefit of the use of garlic and onions are their beneficial cardiovascular effects. They are helpful in lowering lipid levels, inhibit platelet aggregation and are antihypertensive.

Hence, liberal use of onion and garlic is recommended for diabetes herbal cure. Daily habit of using onion and garlic in your meals will not only help combating the disease but also bring enormous benefits to your health. Though relatively unknown in the western world, yet this therapy has been practiced in Asia for centuries. The idea of this therapy is similar to acupuncture; however unlike acupuncture no needle is used. A part of the Tao philosophy, acupuncture is based on the belief that restoring the flow of vital energy allows one to be cured from illness. This form of medicine that originated around 2500 years back became well accepted in the western countries in the 1950s. Today even certain orthodox physicians are trained in acupuncture and they have effectively blended it with western medicine, thus achieving great results.

Tai-Chi
A form of internal Chinese martial art Tai Chi focuses on the concept of restoring the balance of vital energy to cure individuals.
