There is bump inside the lip of my vagina, how to remove it?

Small bumps or lumps that develop on the vagina are known as sebaceous cysts. These cysts are filled with the protein keratin which tends to have an unpleasant odor. Sebaceous cysts usually occur on the torso, neck and face areas, however at times they can also grow on the vagina and other parts of the genital region. This condition is different from genital herpes in which blister-like crusty sores develop. Sebaceous cysts develop due to blocked hair follicles or damage to the skin.

Treatment For Sebaceous Cysts

Sebaceous cysts grow slowly and appear as small bumps that move freely beneath the skin. They usually do not cause any pain as they develop. One must however refrain from picking at the bumps or squeezing the content from it as this can lead to infection, swelling and tenderness. In case infection occurs, the area is likely to become red and warm. Tenderness is usually experienced and there may be a whitish discharge from the bump. Sebaceous cysts are most likely to subside on their own and are generally not harmful. In some cases, however the cysts may grow in size, thereby causing discomfort. Large cysts may require surgical removal. Smaller cysts that develop inflammation and infection can be treated through antibiotics or steroid medication.

Proper hygiene is important in order to keep the vagina area clean and free from infection. It is advisable to wear undergarments made of cotton and to wash and change them regularly. The pain and tenderness arising from sebaceous cysts may be alleviated by placing a heating pad on the area for a few minutes. You can also place a warm damp wash cloth over the bump. This will encourage them to rupture by themselves, allowing for healing to take place. A strong immune system is also vital in fighting infection and a healthy diet consisting of fresh vegetables and fruits must be incorporated into your lifestyle. Essential oils are known to be beneficial in treating skin infections. Essential oils such as that of juniper, lemon, fennel, cypress and grapefruit may be used to treat sebaceous cysts. An effective herbal mixture can be prepared by combining four drops each of cypress, grapefruit and juniper oils. Then add about six drops of essential oil of laurel and mix with 30 milliliters of sunflower oil. This may then be applied to the affected area to promote healing. However, it is important to test the oils on the skin to check for allergic reactions. Advice from your doctor would go a long way in knowing the gravity of the situation and treating it accordingly

How To Unclog Ears

Clogged ears can occur due to a variety of reasons such as the common cold, sinusitis, impacted ear wax and air travel. Sinusitis and nasal allergies usually result in blocked ears because the membranes of the nose become irritated and swollen. These membranes are also connected to the Eustachian tube which connects the middle ear to the back of the nose. As a result the membranes of the Eustachian tube also become swollen, thereby obstructing the opening of the tube. This leads to a feeling of pressure or fullness in the ears. The ears may also become clogged when the air pressure is unequal on both sides of the ears. Such air pressure imbalance and obstruction of the Eustachian tube can also lead to tinnitus.

The most common ways of getting rid of mild blockage in the ears is to swallow or yawn. One can also unclog the ears by pinching the nostrils shut and taking in air through the mouth. Then using the muscles of the cheeks and throat, try to push the air back into the nose. However, ensure that you do not use your chest or abdomen to exert force as this can create excessive pressure. The ears may become clogged also due to fluid-up in the middle ear or due to impacted ear wax. To clear an excessive build up of ear wax, put one drop of hydrogen peroxide to the affected ear. The ear wax will start to come out in the form of bubbles. There are also many ear wax softeners commonly available over the counter for this purpose. You can also warm some olive oil and drop it into the ears. This helps to soften the impacted ear wax, which can then be cleaned out using ear buds. Clogged ears that occur because of changes in air pressure during air travel, especially when taking off or landing, can be relieved by chewing on some gum or trying to yawn as much as possible.

If the ear blockage is due to sinusitis, remember not to blow the nose too hard. Also, while blowing the nose, keep the mouth open. Impacted ear wax can be softened by taking a hot shower for about 10 to 15 minutes. The steam will help to loosen the wax. You can also add a couple of drops of glycerin to obtain relief from ear blockage. Remember never to use sharp instruments to loosen ear wax as these can cause severe damage to the ear drum. However remember that the ear is a delicate organ and therefore it would be beneficial to allow a professional to clean your ears well.

Sometimes my eyes start watering and itching along with continuous sneezing, how to control it?

Sneezing and itchy eyes are common symptoms of season allergies. These allergies occur due to exposure to airborne agents that are present only at specific times during the year. Season allergies result in symptoms such as runny nose, itchy skin, sneezing and eye irritation. The other name for such allergies is hay fever. The most common allergens that result in hay fever are pollen and grass. During spring, the common allergens include elm, oak, maple and birch. In summer, grass such as orchard, Bermuda, timothy and sweet vernal cause hay fever. In the fall months, ragweed is most likely to trigger allergic reactions in many individuals.

Tips To Control Season Allergies

When allergens enter the airway, the white blood cells of the body begin to create antibodies to fight the new entrant. This is an immune reaction that is triggered against a relatively harmless substance. As such it is also referred to as a hypersensitivity reaction. When the antibodies come in contact with the substance, certain hormones and chemicals known as mediators are released. An example of a mediator is histamine. The mediators are responsible for the resulting allergic reaction.

The best way to prevent hay fever is to avoid contact with the offending allergens. Home treatment for this condition can be done by applying cool compresses to ease the itching and irritation. Garlic soup may be consumed to alleviate the sneezing. This will also help if the symptoms are occurring due to a cold, rather than hay fever. A paste of crushed almond leaves is known to be effective in reducing itching around the eyes. Application of a paste of mashed papaya seeds around the eyelids may also help to reduce itching. A beneficial eyewash can be made by boiling some ginger in water. This can then be splashed on the eyes to obtain relief from itching and irritation. Rinsing the eyes with cool rose water is another beneficial remedy for itchy eyes. Vitamin C helps to strengthen the immune system and consuming foods that are rich in this vitamin such as citrus fruits would help to protect against various allergens. Seasonal allergies are also believed to be relieved by consuming beet and carrot juice regularly. Soreness of the throat, sneezing and runny nose can be eased by drinking a glass of warm milk to which a pinch of turmeric has been added. This is an age-old remedy which is known to be very beneficial in providing comfort from such symptoms.

Tanning is a technique commonly used to enhance the skin tone to something that is believed to increase an individual’s aesthetic quality. As a result, it is one of the most treasured techniques of the cosmetic world. However, there are also a number of occasions in which an individual may want to get rid of a tan and return to his or her natural skin color. While a tan will always fade with time, there are a few ways to expedite the transformation back to ones original light skin color. The decision to remove a tan could be because of the simple fact that the whole operation did not go as planned. You could have probably ended up over - tanning your skin or even getting sunburnt after the procedure. Either way, there are a number of easy to use natural options that would help rectify the problem to some extent.

Home Remedies For Tanned Skin

Taking warm baths on a regular basis is known to be one of the best methods of reversing a tan. It is important that you apply a lot of soap to the affected areas of your body during these baths. It is important to use a good quality exfoliating pad to gently scrub the dead skin cells off the upper layers of your skin – thereby naturally giving your skin a lighter shade and natural glow. Lemon is widely known for its natural bleach properties and you can try slicing a single lemon into halves or quarters and rub it all over your skin while you are in the shower. Rub your skin thoroughly for a period of three to four minutes before washing your skin with the help of soap. The application of hydrogen peroxide is known to be very useful when it comes to removing a tan on your hands and feet. However, before using this chemical, it is essential that you apply a small amount of it on a portion of your skin to test whether you develop an allergic reaction to it. If you encounter no signs of irritation, you can proceed to apply the solution over the affected area. However, patience is required as there are no remedies that will almost immediately return your skin color to its original shade. Under normal circumstances, the whole transformation should take a couple of weeks at best. The best and healthiest option would be to allow the tan to fade on its own as this would allow the skin cells to naturally adapt to the change.

I am 26 years and male, I have chronic gastric problems, how to get rid of it ?

Suffering from a gastric problem is considered to be one of the most common medical ailments today and every one of us has probably suffered from some type of the condition at some point of time in our lives. Under normal circumstances, the gas that builds up within the body is disposed of primarily by burping or passing it through the rectum. The amounts of gas produced by the human body on a daily basis under normal circumstances is about 2 to 3 pints that is disposed of bit by bit in almost 15 occasions spread over the day. The expelled gas contains carbon dioxide, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and even methane in a few cases. Controlling a gas problem entails having a clear understanding of what is causing the excessive buildup. The two most culpable reasons for the problem are swallowed air and the breakdown of certain types of undigested food by a group of harmless bacteria that are present in the large intestines. Normal lifestyle habits such as smoking, chewing gum or consuming liquids or food at faster than normal speeds all contribute to the intake of more air. Excessive intake of certain types of foods is also known to trigger a case of gastritis.

Natural Treatment For Gastritis

Because of the fact that gastritis is such a common medical ailment, there are a number of effective and easy to administer home remedies that you could try. For example, coconut water is known to be one of the foremost natural treatments and drinking coconut water twice a day will show astounding results. Another option would be to take 2 teaspoons of peach leaves in a cup and add boiling water before allowing it to boil again for a period of 10 minutes. You could also try creating a mixture of 125 grams of curd, half a gram of black salt and a couple of grams of Sprague and consume it on a regular basis for a speedy treatment of the gastritis problem. A combination of spinach and carrot juice is highly regarded in the effectiveness with which it treats gastritis. You could also try mixing the two together in quantities of 200 ml of spinach juice and 300 ml of carrot juice for better results. You should also make it a habit to drink half a cup of potato juice before every meal as it is one of the most effective ways in treating the condition. The application of some amount of heat to your stomach will also help considerably.

How to treat swollen eye and face after being in a fight?

Getting into a fight of any intensity with another human being is always going to leave a mark on your aesthetic appearance. In most cases, the only differentiating factor is the degree to which it is visible. Walking around with a black eye can be considerably embarrassing for a number of people – especially for men who consider themselves to be the alpha male. This is primarily because of the fact that no matter how much you overpower your opponent, he would still get a few jabs in response – with at least one emphatically finding its target! As a result, in most cases, more important than the treatment of the swollen eye and face is the proper nurturing and care of a severely bruised ego. The swelling and scars are only temporary but the dip in self esteem could have more significant consequences. Bruising and swelling on the face and around the eye is essentially the same as it is on any other part of the human anatomy. Just as with any injury that leads to swelling and blood clotting, the most advisable thing to do just after having sustained the injury is to apply an ice pack over the affected area. A bag of frozen peas is considered to be most beneficial primarily because peas are relatively small and will allow the ice pack to adjust to the contour of the face and fit snuggly into the eye cavity. However, make sure that you do not apply the bag directly to the skin as this would simply freeze your skin up momentarily. Instead, wrap the frozen pea bag in a cloth and apply it to your face. The ice pack will serve to constrict the blood vessels – thereby lowering internal bleeding; and lowering swelling.

The bruising that is likely to be present around the injury can be easily treated simply by placing a warm compress over the area. You could also try dipping a cotton ball in some warm water and dab the swollen tissue – but avoid putting too much pressure as it could hurt you. Another option would be to create a mixture using a teaspoon of cayenne pepper with five teaspoons of Vaseline. Apply it over the affected area at least three times a day. If you experience any significant amount of pain, it is advisable to purchase an over the counter pain killer to dull the sensation till it reduces. However, getting yourself checked by your doctor would help in ruling out the condition of any sort of internal injuries.

How To Even Out Skin Tones

With the increasing focus on an individual’s aesthetic appearance in today’s world, people tend to get overworked about some of the most common complications. However, with the fact that a person’s looks have grown to being such an important aspect means that this mindset is perfectly understandable. Good skin is one of the most cherished and admired of physical attributes in any person, but an uneven skin tone on even the most well nourished skin can considerably damage the entire appearance. A number of people are affected by an uneven skin tone and the condition appears to be more prominent on the hands and face and those parts of the body that are most often exposed to the sun. This is because exposing your skin to the sun means an exposure to the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays that are known to cause skin cancer and skin cell augmentation. The skin has a natural defense system where it incorporates the use of melanin in order to counter these effects. When exposed to higher intensities of sunlight, higher quantities of melanin are required to fight off the ill effects. The melanin will then be created by the melanocytes – which are the pigment producing cells in the body and distributed all over the areas of the skin that are most exposed to the sun. However, at times there are complications with the delivery process and a few areas get more melanin than others – leading to a noticeably uneven skin tone. Another factor that may influence an uneven skin tone is the different kinds of skin care products that we use. Almost every one of them found in today’s cosmetic market contains a certain number of chemicals that are likely to react in some way or the other with your skin.

Washing your face on a regular basis is one of the foremost treatment options when it comes to evening out your skin tone. This helps remove any dirt and debris that may cling to your face due to our over - polluted atmosphere. Avoid going outdoors without sunscreen while completely avoiding it during the hours when the sun is at its most destructive - 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Exfoliate your skin on a regular basis to help your body shed the dead skin cells and grime that will cling to the outer layers of your skin. Homemade or cosmetic scrubs are both known to be effective.

My 4 years old daughter frequently gets cough and cold, she gets relief of cold my taking antibiotic, but how to get rid of dry cough

Just as with any medical condition, no matter how common it is, the scenario can be quite scary for parents when a toddler is infected. This is primarily because of the fact that the toddlers immune system is nowhere as mature as that of an adult and is, therefore, less likely to be able to fight off a condition with ease. A cough can be an indication of purely some irritation within the respiratory tract or throat while it can also be a symptom of some serious underlying medical condition. Coughing is also known to be one of the most efficient methods the human body uses to clear up the airways located in the throat and chest. There are a variety of reasons for the development of a cough and the over - polluted atmosphere that surrounds us today is one of the chief reasons. Some of the other prominent medical conditions for which coughing will show up as a symptom includes acute sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, non allergic rhinitis and the common cold. If the cough appears to be persistent or getting worse, it is highly recommended that you visit your pediatrician in order to have your child inspected for any other underlying medical conditions. Do not administer any medication to your child, even if it is over the counter medication, without checking with the doctor first.

Dry Cough Home Treatment

Because of the fact that coughing is such a common occurrence, there are a number of home remedy options that will be able to help significantly in its treatment. The advantage here is that these homw remedies could be consumed without much fear of side effects that almost every form of western medicine incorporates. For example, you could try making some tea with a little amount of ginger stirred in. This is known to be effective because of the beneficial properties of ginger. Another option would be to mix a teaspoon of honey and a dash of turmeric powder to a glass of warm milk and consume this on a regular basis, preferably before going to sleep at night. This mixture helps soothe the throat and get rid of any irritants. Getting your child to inhale steam will help open up the airwaves while soothing the throat as well. All that is required is for you to heat up some water, not too hot or else your child could scald her airwaves with the excessively hot steam, and add a little bit of turmeric. Then lean your child over the bowl with a towel draped over the head to avoid the steam from escaping and ask her to breathe heavily.

Stretch Marks Home Remedies: Is There Any Specific Diet For Stretch Marks?

Stretch Marks Diet

Stretch marks occur when there is a frequent fluctuation in weight or when there has been a rapid change is height or size. Almost everyone may develop stretch marks, but depending upon your complexion and weight, stretch marks may look more or less prominent. Preventing stretch marks are as important as treating them, therefore it is crucial that you follow certain dietary regulations and regular exercise to monitor your weight loss/gain. There are several ways to care for stretch marks at home, mainly, the inclusion of vitamin K rich food in your diet. Dairy products, tomatoes, green and leafy vegetables, and liver are excellent sources of Vitamin K. Maintaining a healthy diet will ensure that your weight remains stable, thereby preventing further chances of stretch marks. Another way of maintaining a stable weight is to exercise regularly. Regular exercise will ensure that your muscles are toned.
Thus making sure that you avoid getting stretch marks when your weight fluctuates.

Stretch Marks Treatment

Another way to treat stretch marks at home is with the use of home made bleaches. Apply the juice of a lemon on your arms everyday to help reduce stretch marks. Lavender oil is a good natural bleach and applying it three times a day on your arms will help fade the stretch marks. Aloe vera is another excellent natural bleach and moisturizer. Apply aloe vera on your arms to help reduce stretch marks. Use a moisturizing lotion that is Vitamin E based to help reduce the stretch marks. You can also try to gently exfoliate the skin around the region to lighten the stretch marks. This can be done using an apricot or walnut scrub, gently with a loofah, at least once everyday for a week.

Stretch Marks Home Remedies

Make a mixture using avocado, jojoba, almond, chamomile, and lavender oil. Apply this on the stretch marks every day for a week. This will help fade the marks and moisturize the skin. Massage your skin with olive oil to help reduce stretch marks. Alternatively, elastin cream or cocoa butter also helps reduce stretch marks. Cocoa butter is an excellent remedy for treating stretch marks. Prepare a home made cream with cocoa butter(half a cup), two teaspoons of grated beeswax, two teaspoons of Vitamin E oil, one tablespoon of wheat germ oil, and one teaspoon of apricot kernel oil. Apply this cream on the affected area daily to help the stretch marks gradually fade. Shea butter is also effective in treating stretch marks. Shea butter contains essential Vitamins like A and E that help moisturize skin and reduce blemishes.

Sensitive And Dry Lips Causes - Vitamin Deficiency

Dry and sensitive lips are a common problem, but they can be very painful and uncomfortable. The skin on the lips tends to become dry and cracked on account of exposure to extreme weather. In addition, smoking, excessive consumption of caffeine, allergic reactions to certain cosmetics and even vitamin deficiencies can cause dry lips. When lips are dry, they tend to become very painful and may even bleed. It is therefore important to minimize licking your lips as this may worsen the situation. This in fact causes lips to become even more dry and chapped. It is also important to keep from peeling off the dry skin on your lips as this may damage the sensitive skin on your lips and may cause it to scar. While caring for your dry lips at home, ensure that you keep yourself well hydrated by drinking plenty of water. This is the first and most effective step in curing dry lips. In addition, maintaining a healthy diet also goes a long way in reducing stress and helping the skin. Vitamin A is especially required for the skin to heal and it is important to increase your consumption of Vitamin A. You can make a healthy and nutritious drink at home by mixing carrot juice, spinach juice, tomato juice, wheat germ oil, and water cress.

Add some yeast to this and drink once everyday to help cure dry lips. Another precaution you must take is to put on a lip balm with sunscreen to help protect your lips from sunburn as it also causes dry and chapped lips.

Dry Lips Remedies - Cure Dry lips With Home Treatment

There are certain methods to continue treating you dry lips at home. You can apply the extract of margosa leaves on your lip for immediate relief. Aloe vera is another great cure for dry lips. Rub some aloe vera gel directly on your lips for immediate relief. Place a slice of cucumber above your lip to help soothe and heal the skin. Do not use very harsh cosmetics for your lips. These products may sap the lips of all moisture, thereby making them sensitive and dry. Applying some warm ghee on your lips every night will help cure dry lips immediately. Another effective remedy to cure dry lips is to apply glycerin on your lips. Glycerin will help make your lips smooth and soft again. Alternatively, make a mixture of lime juice, glycerin and rose water and apply this on your lips twice everyday to help treat dry lips.
