This was a quick shot during sunset in the Outer Banks. I put here on the top of the truck's tonneau cover to get the right height.

Left for the mud cobra field around 6:41AM.

Dogs raced around in a really wet arena.
Everything was the same same as usual.

Document the adventure with 117 photos.
Came home after an hour of way big fun ;)
Washed the dogs, then fed and put to bed.

Now here's where things started going wonky.

Started the uploading process and noticed
the uploading was having some problems !

I tried and retried then tried again and again.

Nothing was uploading ? ! ? Card says empty ?
In the field each photo was showing in camera.

Checked, double checked then triple checked.

Put the card back in camera and it showed empty.
Took a few photos around the house, they showed.

Looks as if Mr. Murphy tagged the card ;(

So, here's a photo from last week being
used to tell the story of todays adventure.

This is maybe the third time in many years
that this type of situation has happened !

At least the dogs got out to run and play ;)

Give me a few days and we'll try this again.

FYI,
As a general rule two cameras are taken
but today, one camera and two lenses.

Mama-san, Boyfriend and Lil Monster are doing just fine.
Recently the food bag is much heavier due to another mouth
to feed.They are on the third floor, the dark opening you see
behind them is their dinning room and bedroom .
I'm walking up from the 2nd floor with Mama right beside me..;-)

That's right, Mr. Monkey the MoJo Man
has started following a vegan diet ;0-

But, he still wakes me up at 4:PM so
I can prepare his rice and meat dinner.

Why at 4:PM you might be asking ?

Simple, his inner clock says it's dinner
time and I'm usually taking a nap then.

FYI.
Monsoons and high winds has been
pounding on us for some time now !!!
Temperature and humidity follows suit.

4 awhile I thought it was just off and
on, but, it didn't take long to figure
it was way more on than off ;0---

The monsoon season is here
so, ya just bend with the wind.

Plans for the mud cobra field
will just go with the flow 4 now.

Tomorrow being Sunday, I will be
in the peoples clinic getting poked,
prodded, inspected and rejected ;(
Those separated ribs are acting up.

Not complaining, just stating the facts.

Whatever-weather-man says next week will
be real wet and so will the rest of the month.

This sucks, but it's way better then
a poke in the nose with a sharp stick.

The Zoomer is under the computer desk
while The Monkey is close to my right side.

Silly dogs, silly me silly weather ;)

Abused & Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

This will be short, then an article is included
from a publication here in Thailand.

Today was spent preparing for tomorrows run
out to see all the dogs at the monkey temple.
Remember 2-Tone will be taken back to see
the dog doctor once again.Gun-ah be a long
day. Alright here's the info on this photo.
From the left is Muscle Nuns bungalow.
Background, across the swamp is The Dog
Palace. Mad Dog is at the bottom of the photo.
On our right is Tinker Bell up on The Nurse Nuns

SEWELL, NEW JERSEY: A dog rescued from the dinner table but left with half a face in Thailand has found a new home in the United States and is thriving, say its owners.
Karen Quigley and Michelle Weirich raised more than $11,000 through a fundraising website to adopt and care for the two-year-old mixed-breed dog, named Teresa. A man had unsuccessfully tried to butcher the animal for food in January before it was rescued. Details of where the incident took place were not available.
"Unfortunately in Thailand people do eat dog meat, and a person had a machete and he was trying to cut her head off," Quigley said.
Catching, selling and killing dogs for meat is not illegal in Thailand, but exporting them without an official certificate is. Dog meat is in fact not popular in Thailand but is considered a delicacy in Vietnam.
Teresa was left without a nose and parts of her top jaw. The money paid for her travel and surgery to remove teeth and mend her tongue.
Teresa is doing well at Quigley's home in Sewell. She does everything a normal dog would do, Quigley told WPVI-TV in Philadelphia.
"She can do everything and that's what's so remarkable about Teresa," Quigley said. "She's so amazing because she's really so happy. She wakes up happy. She loves to run in the yard.''
The animal's surgeon, Dr John Lewis, said the animal was doing well other than having some cosmetic issues.
"She can always breathe through her mouth, but the fact she can breathe through her nose just increases her quality of life. She's able to eat and drink, can play with toys, so that's the important thing," he said.
Quigley eventually wants to get Teresa certified as a therapy animal so that she can comfort disfigured patients at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.

Mama, Rocky and the rest of the monkey temple dogs
were quite excited to see me early yesterday morning.
Started right in with the feeding process then moved on
to the monthly medications. All went well .... ;-)

Here is Rocky trying his best to protect the puppies from
the ever present monkeys.
This is the East end of the cement walking bridge.
And those are Little Stubbys ears you see at the bottom.

Couple hours later I was continuing the trip towards the
Cambodian border to spend time with no# 1 wife.

It was late when returning home where 3 more hungry
dogs were waiting my arrival .

The computer has attempted suicide again so that means
today it will be loaded up for a ride out to see my friend
Mr Sidecar. Like an old car ya just keep replacing the failed
parts with new ones.

Maggie is always happy to see me when I visit, unlike her sister, Lucy. She sits nicely for photos, and enjoys treats and pats. She feels like a teddybear with her hypoallergenic fur.

Bean had a fun visit to the farm today, with Luna offering her usual greeting. She likes to check out the dogs, and vice versa. Bean is very good, and sat nicely for some photos.
