Sounds great. But personally I know that Verizon technicians are discouraging users from using any anti-virus software on their phones. I had continuous issues with a Samsung Stratosphere. When asked what apps I had installed, the technician balked at having Comodo Anti-virus installed, and insisted it was the sole source of my problems.

Bullpucky, and maybe a few other choice words came out of my mouth. I didn't just walk in out of the cotton fields, that's just plain wrong. In fact on my current Motorola Bionic, I have 2 anti-virus apps installed, yup 2, Comodo and Lookout. And no issues.

Truth be told only Symantec aka Norton and McAfee did not play nice in the sandbox with other anti-virus programs.

Moreover, I would have been a victim just this week had I not had anti-virus protection on my phone. I downloaded an app from the Playstore, comodo caught it as dangerous and destructive. Take that Verizon

Tips for Passing the New ISC2 Electronic Based CISSP Exam

Having taken this exam on paper, THREE TIMES, there's just one word of advice I can offer - STUDY. Study like you've never studied before. The author recommended 30-90 days of study prior to the exam. I studied, overall, for 3 years before passing the CISSP exam. And I studied for 30 hours a week, for 3-4 months before the exam. Memorization will not help much here. This exam is about concepts and theory. It's a "what if (this) ?", and "how do you react to (that) ?". This is not an IT technical exam, it's a management exam.

If you have ever taken a Microsoft or CompTIA exam, you are used to the straight-forward question and answer of multiple choice or multiple answer. There's always 2 answers that are completely wrong, 1 is close, and the other is correct. Not so with the CISSP exam. It's not unusual to get a question, and 4 possible answers that stretch the imagination for being related to the question. Yup, no easy answers here, but one IS correct.

As for the change in venue, the computer based exam may actually be more difficult. It's much easier to go back through the exam booklet and recall your train of thought, than to flip through 250 screens to find a question you already worked on. Oh, and if you think you will go to one of the brain dump sites and just memorize the answers, think again. ISC2 have tens of thousands of questions in their database. I said I took the exam 3 times, and I don't think I got the same question twice.

A California court has ruled it's a felony of identity theft to hack into someones Facebook account. It underscores the mere fact that it's illegal to hack into any account that is not yours. It's considered unlawfully obtaining personal identifiable information.

As the author points out, this crime happens everyday, but he feels it's an effort to set a precedent. I don't think it's gonna stop the avid hacker, but it may stop the novice from trying. Then again, look at Facebook and see all the stupid things people do and say. No, it won't stop them.
