I volunteered for a NY based ‘92 Presidential Election Democratic fundraiser. My job was to “guard” the door leading into the main ballroom. My task was not to let anyone into the ballroom until the designated time and redirect them to the cocktail reception.

Most people listened to me until one person approached the door. When I stopped her, she started yelling at me. She demanded that she be let in. I kept telling her that no one was in the ballroom. I suddenly realized I was fighting with Tina Louise (aka Ginger from Gilligan’s Island). After a good minute of going back and forth, I “won” the challenge!

I met Craig Robinson from The Office last night. He graciously greeted the fans that were waiting to meet him after his show at the Improv. Believe it or not, it was my first stand-up/comedy club experience and now he has me hooked. When I told him this, he said, “I’m glad I could do that for you…”

Dan Marino and his wife got seated next to us at the Palm Beach Grill on Saturday night. He looked great and he and his wife seemed to be enjoying a pleasant night out together! I know he owns a restaurant in Miami, but I’ve never eaten there!

Sex’ing @ Barney’s! Saw Sara Jessica Parker & crew filming an episode of Sex In The City when I worked there. The cast spent approx. 9 hours taping for 5 minutes of air time!

Saw newlyweds Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky near the Museum of Natural History one day. I was eating at an outside cafe and they walked by. There is no missing those 2, even on a crowded NYC street. They’re like tall and taller!

Saw George Hamilton at Scarpetta restaurant in the newly renovated Fountainbleu hotel in Miami not too long ago. He was w/ another older gent and 2 knock out blondes that stood at (min.) 6ft. And yes, of course he was tan!
