The documentary begins as an investigation of the circumstances surrounding Cobain's death and the conspiracy theories which sprung up afterwards. Cobain was legally declared to have committed suicide but has been alleged by some to have been murdered, in some allegations at Courtney Love's instigation.

As Broomfield investigates the claims surrounding Cobain's death, his emphasis moves from the conspiracy theories and onto an investigation of Love herself, including an accusation that she supports the suppression of free speech and her subsequent fame after Cobain's death.

The film was due to play the Sundance Film Festival but Love threatened to sue the festival's organizers if they screened the film. [1]Broomfield removed all of Nirvana's music and replaced it with music from bands mainly from the Seattle area. However when shown on the BBC, the film did contain Nirvana's performance of Smells Like Teen Spirit from Top of the Pops in 1991.

While the initial focus of the film was the alleged 'conspiracy' to murder Cobain, Courtney Love's refusal to license any of Cobain's music and her unwillingness to speak on camera was used by Broomfield as evidence of her censorship of free speech.

MARANTE foi tocado pelos Deuses, ele possui uma voz melodiosa digna de um coro divino no topo do monte Olimpo, posso parecer o Camões, e MARANTE não descobriu a índia, mas tal como esse zarolho, MARANTE irá ficar nos anais da história, por causa de hinos como a Bela Portuguesa.

Na Motown, Michael junto a seus irmãos gravou vários álbuns, o que lhes rendeu fama mundial. Com apenas treze anos Michael através dos Jackson Five havia colocado quatro canções no topo das paradas, I Want You Back, ABC, I'll Be There, The Love You Save. Michael iniciou sua carreira solo quando ainda estava na Motown ele lançou os álbuns, Got To Be There, Ben, Music & Me e Forever, Michael. Todos com pelo menos um sucesso mundial. A partir de 1973 a popularidade do grupo começou a diminuir, embora eles tivessem sucessos razoáveis como, I Am Love e Dancing Machine. Nesse último, durante as apresentações, Jackson simulava um robô dançando. A dança tornou-se bastante popular no mundo todo. Durante sua infância Michael e seus irmãos sofreram constante abuso de seu pai. Que batia freqüentemente nas crianças, e as aterrorizava psicologicamente. Os ensaios eram supervisionados pelo pai com um cinto na mão. Certa vez Michael e seus irmãos foram dormir no quarto de um hotel e deixaram a janela aberta. Joseph escalou a janela com uma máscara no rosto e deu um susto nos irmãos, somente para ensiná-los a não deixar a janela aberta quando fossem dormir. Anos depois, Jackson sofreu pesadelos sobre ser sequestrado do seu quarto e chorava com isso. Durante sua entrevista a apresentadora Oprah Winfrey, em 1993, Michael disse que durante sua infância chorou várias vezes por solidão e que muitas vezes vomitava só de ver seu pai. No documentário de 2003, Living with Michael Jackson, do jornalista britânico Martin Bashir, o cantor chorou ao relembrar de sua infância.

The Jacksons

Em 1975, os Jackson Five saíram da Motown e assinaram contrato com a Epic em busca de mais liberdade para produzir suas canções. Como resultado do processo judicial, tiveram que mudar o nome para The Jacksons. Michael foi o principal compositor do grupo, escrevendo sucessos como, Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground) , This Place Hotel, Can You Feel It?, Durante a sua adolescência Michael sofreu de depressão por não aceitar estar crescendo, sua pele também passou por um período de alto grau de acne. Em 1978, Michael co-estrelou The Wiz no papel do espantalho com sua companheira de gravadora, Diana Ross, como Dorothy. As canções do filme foram arranjadas e produzidas por Quincy Jones, que tinha simpatia por Michael. Após assinar o contrato com a Epic em 1978, Michael trabalhou com Quincy em muitos álbuns.

Nascem em meados de 1993, como um projecto 100% em inglês e numa onda experimentalista. Na altura, os Da Weasel eram Pac, Armando Teixeira, Jay Jay Neige e Yen Sung.

Um ano depois, dá-se a primeira aventura discográfica do grupo com o lançamento do EP More Than 30 Motherf*****s. Desde logo, surge o primeiro hino do grupo, que, ainda hoje, é um dos temas de maior sucesso em concerto: "God Bless Johnny".

Não demoraria mais de um ano, para que editassem o primeiro álbum – "Dou-lhe com a Alma". Neste trabalho assiste-se à transição para o português como língua dominante. Nessa altura, à formação inicial juntam-se Pedro Quaresma (guitarra) e Guilherme Silva (bateria).

Volta a haver mexidas na formação com a saída de Yen Sung e entra Virgul. O grupo dá um concerto acústico na Antena 3 onde é estreado o tema "Dúia". O álbum "Dou-lhe Com A Alma" é reeditado com um cd-bonus com o registo desse concerto

Os Rolling Stones é uma banda de rock inglesa formada em 25 de Maio de 1962, e que está entre as bandas mais antigas ainda em atividade. Em mais de quarenta anos de carreira, hits como (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, Start Me Up, Sympathy For The Devil, Jumping Jack Flash, Miss You e Angie fizeram dos Stones uma das mais conhecidas bandas do rock mundial, levando-a a enfrentar todos os grandes clichês do gênero, desde recepções efusivas da crítica até problemas com drogas e conflito de egos, principalmente entre Jagger e Richards. VH1 Storytellers começou com uma tímida atuação de Ray Davis e Elvis Costello em 1996. Durante os anos seguintes muitos artistas e bandas desfilaram pelo palco do show, interagindo com o público enquanto contavam histórias da sua música e carreiras. David Bowie apareceu no show há 10 anos mais precisamente no dia 23 de Agosto de 1999.
Bill Flanagan, produtor executivo do programa disse em entrevista sobre o DVD: "O Storytellers de Bowie foi um evento teatral único.
