Christmas Cheers Holiday makeup

Here's a little Christmas look I created using eye shadows. This look is relatively quick & easy, the trick is the eye shadow placement. First pat a champagne/gold tone along the brow bone as a highlight color. Next choose a skin tone shade as your transition color, which is base of your eye shadow look, also called a blending color. Take this skin tone color and sweep it all over the eyelid except on the brow bone. Then choose an emerald or forest green tone for your lid color. Make sure to pack this color on and then use your brush or sponge tip applicator to create the wing shape at the outer corner of your eye. I also used the same deep green color to line my under eye line. Go over all of your colors again to make sure they pop. Add tons of mascara and black eyeliner (optional).

The shadows are buttery soft and highly pigmented. My La femme blush palette retailed for about 47.50 for a total of 12 shades. This is a professional product and theses blushes are insanely pigmented. You can customize your own palette, how great is that. They're over 40 colors to choose from. I used the gold shadow in the inner corner, the copper shade on the lid, the deep purple on my lower lids and to smoke out the outer corners.

Mardi Gras makeup

This is a simple Mardi Gras look I put together a few nights ago. My dress is black & red so this will not be my cabaret makeup, but for this look I used the traditional Mardi Gras colors(Purple, Green, & Gold).

There's is nothing really different about this makeup than any of my other post. I will note that that purple lipstick is NYX Wicked Lippie in the color Immortal. This color is pretty but the formula is greasy and patchy, no matter how many coats I applied, there was always bald spots. I was very disappointed with this product. Despite my displeasure with this lip product, I hope you guys enjoyed the look. Feel free to peruse any of my earlier post to find a list of all the other products I use daily to achieve my beatface.
