It's a great day for everyone! Later on my posts, I'll introduce three great guys who made it really strong in affiliate marketing. While reading their stories and background, I was amazed on how God has given wealth and knowledge to them. But of course, any of us can be like them if we choose to. They have been in affiliate marketing for years now and are living in a financially secure environment.

What's more inspiring about their lives is that they continue to nurture the experience they had in affiliate marketing by sharing it to aspiring affiliates like us. I'm so much excited to introduce them to you guys. Sit tight and relax!

What is Affiliate Marketing?

2010-08-11T06:56:00.002+08:00

Googling the word "affiliate marketing" in your search tab, you may find the following definition from Wikipedia.org:

"Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's marketing efforts. Examples include rewards sites, where users are rewarded with cash or gifts, for the completion of an offer, and the referral of others to the site."

Furthermore,in WiseGeek.com,it is defined as:

"Affiliate Marketing is a revenue sharing venture between a website owner and an online merchant. The website owner will place advertisements on his websites to either help sell the merchant's products or to send potential customers to the merchant's website, all in exchange for a share of the profits."

In layman's term, you act a the seller/"marketer" to certain products of a merchant in the web. You are called an affiliate of that merchant. You drive "potential customers" into that mechant's store through your website/blog/advertisement and when these "potential customers" buy products from them, you get a cut or commission from their sale.

Hi, I'm Ian!

I've created this blogsite to share the things I''m continually learning about affiliate marketing. To be honest, I'm still in the process of learning things about affiliate marketing. I'm so much eager to learn tips and ideas about it .and it's the reason I made this blogsite. I would like to learn things from readers as well on how to have a sound financial freedom for the future. Hope you'd allow me to share the things I learn everyday about this and hope we could have a healthy discussion regarding affiliate marketing and other "things under the sun" in the future.
