The beauticians had to keep reminding us not to be panic.

We were laughing out loud at Bell’s bare face when the first result came out.

It was really scary to know that all the little pores, dirts and dead cells on our faces can be shown clearly on the computer screen!

And gently rub to cleanse your hand before you wipe them off with a piece of clean tissue. My skin felt smooth, soft and clean right away! The best part, I won’t feel sticky or greasy after that.

Others were still applying their DIY Avene soothing moisture masks behind in case you didn’t notice. We were asked to spray an excessive amount of Avene Thermal Spring Water onto a piece of clean paper masks provided, apply and leave it on your face for 15 to 20 minutes and “Voila!” we now have a very much re-hydrated and moisturized face. *satisfaction* ^.^ Definitely the best thing to do when you are stuck in a long hour flight.

Last but not least, sprayed and sprinkled a wee bit more on my face. Incredibly soothing!

The first love bite is most remembered and the craving for more can go a long way. Trishna restaurant tells a tale of love for Northern Indian Cuisine. This restaurant captures a conceptual love story between man and good food. Each of its dishes is interestingly cooked with garden-fresh spices and natural ingredients to capture its best original taste.

First up! The famous yoghurt drink which we called the “Lassi”. Sweet and Mango Lassi are two of the most common ones, but have you tried Salted Lassi before? My first time trying and it was remarkably good!

Their Papadum is different than the others I must say. Every crunchy piece of it is flavoured with Indian spices instead of just a thin layer of crispy flour.

Not forgetting to drizzle some refreshing mint sauce on it! *crunch*

I’m never a big fan of lipstick. Yup, never.

The waxy and sticky texture on my lips? It’s just never comfortable and I tend to lick it off unconsciously, hence the icky taste from the lipstick will startled me out of the blue and got me disgusted, frustrates me in every way. How can one apply such inedible stuff on your lips I sometimes wonder.

However, I do realize that it is somehow necessary to apply either a darker or a subtle colour to our lips. Making us look prettier and much more lively overall, instead of looking dreadful with a pair of dry cracking lips! Therefore, I rather opt for a stick of lip balm that helps moisturize our lips instead. Although I tend to lick them off unconsciously as well, but those scented lip balms that I bought are always sweet in flavour and they taste good!

My very first lip balm was a Nivea, scented with a hint of sweet cherry flavour that is completely irresistible to apply. I must say, I fell in love with lip balms since then.

Among all the lip balms that I have in my little make up pouch, this Hershey’s one is definitely one of my favourite! The design obviously caught my attention first, a squarish little box that looks like an eraser – exactly like those we used to buy when we were in school. And what’s more, it is a lip balm from the world renowned Hershey’s! A company that comes up with everything chocolate that satisfies all of our sweet tooth!

Hershey’s Milk Duds is a milk chocolate and caramel scented and flavoured lip balm. If you love caramel, this would be highly-recommended. The smell is rather strong but it tastes yummy! And the best part, it makes my lips look much redder naturally. Which, in the end compliments my complexion very well. I love it!

Established in 2008, Al-Amar Lebanese Cuisine Restaurant has made an impact on the KL dining area with its delectable cuisine and warm ambient surroundings in the heart of the city. Stepping through its doors, you are transported into a unique ambience not dissimilar to fine-dining havens found in Lebanon. Pristine white tablecloths and plush red chairs lend a city chic atmosphere and hints of modern Lebanese flair. It may not look the same in the pictures that I’ve taken here as I was invited to sample the festival menu at their headquarters instead. But trust me, you will love their restaurant in Pavilion as much as I do.

Al-Amar’s cuisine, born out of its proprietor’s longing for food from home, is a combination of traditional hot and cold mezzes, grills, salads and desserts. It is further elevated with an extensive wine menu including special collaborations with Chateau Musar and Chateau Kefraya, renowned wineries from Lebanon, providing a complete Lebanese dining experience.

Let’s take a look at their festival menu this year that creatively comes in a “Four Seasons” course meal specially designed by Chef Michel Karam himself.

For a “Sunny Start”, we were served with an authentic Labneh Trio with Lebanese Southern Tapenade and a Brush of Thyme. Best paired with Chateau Musar Jeune White, Viognier, Corsican variety, Vermentino and Chardonnay, 2008, Lebanon.

Then comes the “Summer Blooms”, Apricot Glazed Beetroot Tartar on Mango Leather and Rocket Coulis. Best paired with Chateau Kefraya Blanc de Blanc, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay, 2008, Lebanon.
