Firefox 3 loads web pages slow

My long enduring problem with Firefox finally ended

I've been having this problem on Firefox 3 because it loads some pages way too slow. At first I really thought that it was my Internet Service Provider's doing (sorry for pointing at ya guys), but after continues research I stumbled upon a site that provided the tweak!

In your browser type about:config, then it will display a list of parameters. Now press CTRL+F and type network.http.keep-alive double-click to set it to false and voila! My browser worked perfectly again!
