Why is it so hard to give away FREE products?

I think in general people on the web have tried so many free products that are totally worthless, they are becoming insensitive to the word FREE. I can give you a number of examples of free items I offer myself and I can tell you honestly that these could help a lot of people, but I get very little response.

I offer a free email series on my home website Guruette On The Net that can truly help people improve their traffic and spin their own world wide web. It offers great info, and I make no money in the offer-it is just educational. I believe people should educate themselves for online business and marketing to really excel-just like anything else in life. I have even adopted it as my motto and you will see it if you visit me: LEARN MORE ONLINE to EARN MORE ONLINE. It is the truth. For people who want a quick buck with no effort...well good luck.

In keeping with the LEARN MORE approach I am recommending FreeSiteSignUp for ANYONE that wants to make income as an affiliate. Even if you do affiliate marketing already, there are some great tips and marketing training, all for free. When you invite someone to join a free opportunity that is supposed to make money for them, I think DOUBT is all you get. There is a lot of free garbage online, but sometimes you have to try something to find the special free golden nuggets out there.

Ever Google yourself?? Just to see what comes up on the first page? The Social Network Profiles you build come up first, in order pretty much of the network's importance:

Xing
Twitter
to name a few. Your profiles are there for the world to see if someone knows your name. If you have a brand (I use Guruette) and search for that, the same holds true. I know how many people will really search for "Guruette" besides me? I do hold #1 for that keyword...and my site is a little cheesy but I love it!

To really spin your own WWW with Social Networks, build your best profiles on those that take up the first couple of pages of your Google listing. You will be glad you did! There are so many Networks available now that it can become difficult to keep up with all of them. If you work from home, you could make it a full time endeavor to develop relationships on all of the Networks available to you. So...Google yourself and check it out. See what others will find!

Spinning Your Own World Wide Web

The goal of every online marketer is to be found, whether personally or for some opportunity or product. To reach that goal we need good organic placements on search engines. That brings us FREE traffic and without traffic we get nowhere!

The theory of marketing yourself first is not new. Many marketers do well without ever losing their anonymity, by marketing only products through PPC (pay per click) campaigns and do really well. The catch is having the money and time and testing to do a PPC campaign that will reap the dollars you want. So the rest of us are left to other marketing methods which include:
Traffic Exchanges
Classified ads
Safelists
Article marketing
Blogs
Social Networks

And the list goes on. We do whatever we can to establish an online presence.

This Blog was started originally for my own campaign on SpiderWebMarketing. (Get the connection? Spider Web-spinning my own WWW?) However I find that general online marketing has that same goal, spinning my own WWW. One of the very BEST aspects of SpiderWeb was utilizing a Global Domain for a Blog. It was INGENIOUS!! And the best use of a .ws domain I ever imagined. Blogs can be used to share insightful info on any topic and BRAND you in any niche you choose.
