Bohemian Style - If you are an artistic individual you probably fall under the Boho-style. You like colorful patterns and prints (paisley is my favorite), loose clothing, long skirts, wedge heels, clogs ... yeah - this one is actually more my style mixed with a little biker-chick.

Biker Style - Lots of black leather and lace! You ride on the wild side with leather jackets, boots, lacey tops, bandana in your hair and some cool sunglasses to top it off. Bikes aren't just for dudes anymore and the Biker Chick brings new style to the world of bikers!

Romantic - You like soft, cuddly, fluffy and comfortable with flowing layers. Soft colors, light colors, even white a lot. You like to feel feminine and look feminine, too!

I could go on all day and list all of the styles, style variations and ways to dress, but you'd get bored. What style are you? I'd love to hear from you! Spring/Summer Fashion 2013

It's a new year and we are all looking forward to shedding our bulky winter-wear for new Spring fashions. So what's "in" this season?

1) Feather-weight fashion! Sheers like silk, organza's and mousselin are coming in, which is a nice relief from the heavy threads of our winter garb.

2) Black & White contrasts are back.

3) Sexify the Tuxedo! A must-have cover-up asset accessorie for this season for work-to-play fashion. Dress it up with a severe blouse for work, then wear over your bra for a night out on the town.

4) Ruffles! Yes, I said it, Ruffles have stitches!

5) Layers are in, but not the flow you think! We're talking the blocked, the patchwork and collage layers.

6) Other trends like florals and stripes are also must-haves this season.

Well ... might as well start dropping the hints now, you know he forgot Mother's Day already. If you start the hinting now, at least you have a 50/50 chance of getting what you want for Mother's Day, right? Start leaving windows open on the computer by accident that just happen to be on the product page of what you'd like this year.

Leave a magazine laying around with it open to an ad for your favorite fragrance or something. You may be a mom now, but you're still a woman. If he can't take the hints, just come out and tell him what you want. Chances are, you are both still young and you haven't learned yet that everything has to be spelled out, sometimes with illustrations, to the man (or woman) of your life, even down to what you want for Mother's Day. Get the kids in on it, too, the more back-up the better!

Now's a great time, too, to start a Mother's Day tradition of your own. You can carry on a tradition that's already in your family or do something you want. For instance, I take half the day off on Mother's Day and my kids will usually do something for me like clean the house or make me a little something. Then, the rest of the day I like to spend with my kids. Try it - I find that traditions make special days that much more special and we have a tradition for every special day in my house.

What Is Your Fashion Personality?

First of all, what is a fashion personality? Well, the dictionary defines fashion as: The prevailing style or custom, as in dress or behavior; Something, such as a garment, that is in the current mode; The style characteristic of the social elite.

A Fashion Personality is what describes your own unique fashion style - clothing, accessories, make-up. There are quite a few out there, but most fit into one category or another. My own unique style I would consider to be more casual because I'm you're t-shirt wearing, jean loving kind of girl. Even when I go out, the jeans are there and usually a nice casual top dressed up by earrings, an up do and my fav black boots. I'm very short and my boots have a 2 1/2" lift so they come in handy.

Causal style is exactly what it says. Jeans and a t-shirt, simple accessories, a simple bag and just the necessities. If you do wear makeup it's usually a natural look.

Are you Romantic? A romantic style would be more of your lighter, floral blends, flowing fabrics, darker makeups, more up-dos, strappy heels.

Classic styles are more simple fabrics, sling backs, simple accessories, soft makeup and hair styles.

Are you more of the trendy girl that likes to keep up with the "in fashion" look? If you're always looking for the latest styles, the most popular designers for today and staying "in season" you are certainly the trendy girl.

The Dramatic. Ahhhhh, drama it is. You have a more bold look with bolder colors and prints, leather and heavier fabrics. Your makeup is just as dramatic and hairdos are more sleek.

Sporty - you're everyday sweats, little or no makeup. You like to be comfortable and loose in simple sporty shoes or tennis shoes and even though you're not on your way to the gym - you look like you are.

There's no rules saying you can't mix up the different personalities and create your own - experiment a little and find what fits your skin the best. It's about feeling good about you, dressing to accommodate your own little "flaws" and walking out of your house with confidence. Have fun and take a quiz and see what it brings back as your fashion personality - you may be surprised or you may not be, but it's still fun to find out.
