One of the first things to do is make sure you are comfortable. This means wearing clothing that is comfortable and will not distract you. If you have a nickel free charm that brings you luck, include it. Whatever gives you a sense of comfort and confidence is a plus.

Multi-tasking is not an attribute when you are studying. There are only so many facts your mind can fully absorb at the same time. This means that you should focus on one topic, get a clear handle on it and move to the next.

Break down your really large tasks into smaller, more manageable tasks. Looking at an exam that covers multiple chapters can be overwhelming. On the other hand, when you take it section by section it will seem a lot less daunting.
