Ever felt like fireworks have just got a bit same-old? These lanterns have an air of elegance and grace that no Roman Candle could possibly begin to match. For a long-lasting, graceful and enchanting moment outdoors, Light a Lanterns is your answer.

These large paper lanterns are fireproof with a wick suspended beneath them. When the wick is lit, they are filled with hot air from the flame and are ready to sail majestically up to 1000 feet into the night sky within 30 seconds!

Originally thought up by the Chinese over 2000 years ago as a warning signal (due to their ability to be seen for miles), paper lanterns gradually became a part of festival and ceremonial practices across the Far East.

Well now we can enjoy them too, and whether you're planning on using them for a wedding, a party, or just because they're simply beautiful, there's no doubt they'll bring a certain spark to any event.

Each pack (comes in packs of 4 or 10) comes with a marker pen so you can write a personalised message or wish on the lantern before it disappears into the night sky amongst the stars.

Everyone needs a wallet right? So why is there a serious lack of nice, funky, well-made wallets that make it less painful everytime you whip it out to pay for something? I must confess I have a weak spot for wallets. It's one of those things... you know you start buying too many shoes, run out of shoe cabinet space... then you start developing a bag fetish cos you could flat pack them at least... and when space runs out for bags, you collect wallets!! Haha. Enough about me!

I'm was very excited to come across these gorgeous Porte Monnaie wallets.

Porte Monnaie are the makers of original wallets, comprising innovative and traditional materials in a unique design of minimalist style. Natural, locally sourced russet leather and the paper-like tactility of flash spun high density polyethylene form the back bone of a Porte Monnaie wallet.

The dyes used to colour and decorate Porte Monnaie wallets are natural making it completely recyclable without compromising on quality or style. Hand made in London by craftsmen, and packaged and delivered with care.

There are several designs to choose from. The Classic White (pristine but maybe you'd have to wear gloves!) and Black (never go wrong with that). The Keyline, The Spot. The Bow Tie which is classic funky! And finally the Chalk (a good compromise between both former colours and can probably stand the test of dirty hands!) which is an exclusive style to oki-ni and won't be available anywhere else... It's a 'chalk' colourway with grey distress markings.

This wallet measures approximately 4.5" x 4" when closed and 8" in length when opened out.

I couldn't decide which colour is the nicest so I already ordered all designs. Now I gotta check if I have enough cabinet space!

WALL-E and Pals Visit from Tokyo

You and I love WALL-E because of its cool animation, apocalyptic future and cute robots. This pretty much sums up the plot of most Japanese Anime... and no surprise, WALL-E is just as hot in Japan where cute autonomous trash cleaning robots are the norm. Now you can collect this fine WALL-E mini figure set imported from Japan. It's WALL-E, Eve and all his robot pals from the movie in itty-bitty-form on a snap together base. Yep you get the full set of figures you see in the image, which would normally comprise five vending machine capsules. So rather than forcing you to stand on a street corner in Tokyo pumping 100 yen coins into a capsule toy machine hoping for the "perfect" WALL-E figure set we've done all the dirty work for you. Doo itashimashite!

Features:

- Collectable mini figure set of WALL-E and his robot friends from the Disney movie.
- You receive a full set of all 8 robots along with plastic base.
- Officially licensed Disney Item.
- Each figure stands about 1.25" high depending on robot model.
- Imported from Japan.

Available at: ThinkGeek (USA/International)

Important Note : These WALL-E figures are pretty tiny. Even when assembled together as a set they are only 5.5" long total. We just don't want you to think they're life-size or something :)

Yasuki Takamori, a designer from Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan, designs products using techniques and material from his local area.

The 269 clock is based on the design of an old building (269 was the street address), which the designer copied in walnut plywood.

We think its a delightful and unique gift, especially for a house warming!

The new iPod shuffle is jaw-droppingly small. Yet there's room for so much more. With 4GB of storage, it now holds up to 1,000 songs and lets you enjoy multiple playlists, too!

And its remarkable new feature VoiceOver gives the iPod shuffle a" voice." It tells you what song is playing and who's performing it. It can even tell you the names of your playlists - awesome!

Let friends and family know exactly where you are in the world and that everything's going swimmingly. Designed as a serious piece of rescue kit this Spot GPS has (as well as serious emergency location broadcasting) some deeply fun features. Before you set off on your adventures you set up email addresses and telephone numbers that you want to be contacted in an emergency, or if you just want to let your loved ones know where you are and that you're OK. At the click of the OK button the device will send an email (and a text if you have selected that option) to your chosen addresses. Not only will it contain your message, but also a link to Google Maps showing exactly where in the world you are! How cool is that? And you can even set the gizmo up to automatically send a location message every 10 minutes (useful for nervous parents who want to make sure little Billy and Mary are OK). On the serious side it also uses GPS satellites to track your coordinates and at the click of the emergency button will transmit them to your designated Spot team or the nearest emergency services - so you can be rescued whether you get stuck up a mountain, down a river, adrift at sea, or out in the desert.

It's small enough to fit on your belt, takes standard AA batteries and is very simple to use. Whilst this was principally designed to help the intrepid get themselves rescued for being, well, too intrepid probably, we think its most fun feature is the ability to be tracked by your family and mates as you globe-trot!

- Integrated belt clip.
- Requires a yearly subscription of 99.00Euro which includes unlimited usage of the emergency 9-1-1 function, 200 check in or Help messages to any phone worldwide and unlimited Help emails.

- The subscription can be upgraded (see www.findmespot.eu for details).

- Suitable for ages 16 years+.

Remember when mum used to lick a hankie and wipe your face with it? We do. It was last week after we slopped gravy around our gobs during Sunday lunch. With this time-honored sink-free cleaning technique in mind, we decided to search for a take-anywhere cleanser capable of removing muck without water. And waddya know, we've found one.

MomSpit is the nattily-named liquid cleanser that cleans like soap and water without the soap and water. Brilliant! Simply squirt a little into your hand and it instantly becomes a mousse that absorbs quickly and feels fantastic. No sink required.

Formulated to prevent the spread of bacteria, MomSpit will clean, moisturise and lift your spirits within seconds. And unlike regular no-rinse sanitizers, it actually removes dirt and grease. Once you've tried it you won't believe how often you need it, especially if you've got kids.

Of course there's no real substitute for soap and water but this alcohol-free formulation is the ultimate alternative when you're out and about. You can even pop it in your pocket or slip it in your bag/briefcase. Try doing that with a bar of soap and a bucket of water. On second thoughts, don't; you could get in a real lather.

Ideal for ketchup faces, petrol pump hands, crisp-flecked fingers, ice cream noses and countless everyday moments when your paws feel mucky, MomSpit is currently available in Lemon & White Tea - an irresistibly fresh fragrance that'll have you sniffing your mitts for all the right reasons.

We believe MomSpit is destined to totally clean up (geddit?) in the no-rinse cleanser market. It really is in a league of its own. Try it and you'll never feel mucky again (well not in the traditional sense). And remember: it's not gel. It's not sanitizer. It's MomSpit!
