Everyone needs a wallet right? So why is there a serious lack of nice, funky, well-made wallets that make it less painful everytime you whip it out to pay for something? I must confess I have a weak spot for wallets. It's one of those things... you know you start buying too many shoes, run out of shoe cabinet space... then you start developing a bag fetish cos you could flat pack them at least... and when space runs out for bags, you collect wallets!! Haha. Enough about me! I'm was very excited to come across these gorgeous Porte Monnaie wallets. Porte Monnaie are the makers of original wallets, comprising innovative and traditional materials in a unique design of minimalist style. Natural, locally sourced russet leather and the paper-like tactility of flash spun high density polyethylene form the back bone of a Porte Monnaie wallet. The dyes used to colour and decorate Porte Monnaie wallets are natural making it completely recyclable without compromising on quality or style. Hand made in London by craftsmen, and packaged and delivered with care. There are several designs to choose from. The Classic White (pristine but maybe you'd have to wear gloves!) and Black (never go wrong with that). The Keyline, The Spot. The Bow Tie which is classic funky! And finally the Chalk (a good compromise between both former colours and can probably stand the test of dirty hands!) which is an exclusive style to oki-ni and won't be available anywhere else... It's a 'chalk' colourway with grey distress markings. This wallet measures approximately 4.5" x 4" when closed and 8" in length when opened out. I couldn't decide which colour is the nicest so I already ordered all designs. Now I gotta check if I have enough cabinet space!
