Kate Mansey is a twenty-something living in Liverpool. As the music columnist for the Liverpool Echo, she spends her days as a news reporter and nights in the smoky haunts of Liverpool's music scene. Generally living it up and causing irreperable damage to her liver, Kate's World will be the diary of a professional gig hopper. At times the names of famous and wannabe famous Liverpool musicians will be omitted to protect the innocent and not-so-innocent. Oh, and to prevent Trinity Mirror from getting sued. Think sex in the city, but without the sex (it's a family show) or Manolo Blahniks. And indie kids instead of lawyers. Capisce?
