How to Game a Girl at Vegas Night Clubs

For some guys, picking up an attractive woman comes easy. For others, fear of rejection and lack of social skills can make talking to girls a nightmare. If you’re the latter, you may be looking for ways to ‘game’ a girl through a series of pick-up artist (PUA) tricks and techniques. Guys like Mystery and Neil Strauss have mastered the art of picking up women through routines that build attraction during a male-female conversation. These techniques becomes very useful at the Las Vegas nihgtclubs. You may have the perfect body, a chiseled face, and expensive threads, but even those things can’t win you the babe of your dreams if you have zero game. Just because you weren’t born a natural PUA, doesn’t mean you can’t learn a few tricks of the trade.

Dress to Impress

This may seem like a given, but many men simply don’t take notice of their appearance. Before you go out, be sure to take a shower, get trimmed or shaved, and smell nice. A first impression is everything, so take care of your body. No need to get ripped, but looking like you’ve never set a foot into a gym won’t help you with the ladies either. Get a haircut, an attractive outfit, and smell good when you go out. Of course each nihgtclub in Vegas have their own dress code anyways, so dress sharp as you may never make it inside the club.

Listen to Her

Just as important as putting yourself out there through a confident approach, it’s important to give her a chance to speak especially in a loud club atmosphere. Ignoring everything she says will put her off pretty fast. Some men fail at listening, as they “hear” rather than really listen to what a woman is saying. Maintain a balance of conversation, with neither party talking too much about themselves. Don’t come off as self-centered and arrogant.

Show Your Confidence

Women love men who are confident, but not overly so. What woman likes a man with self-esteem issues or insecurity? The key is to show her that you have power in a non-arrogant way. This can be challenging but necessary to build her interest in you. Once you have her attention, go for the gold. When you exude confidence, you show her that you don’t “need” anything from her, making her want you even more. Remember, most people want what they can’t have.

PUA Techniques

You’ve watch hundreds of videos and read dozens of articles on how to pick up women at sites like pualingo.com or PUA training sites like puaartist.com, but as soon as it comes to crunch time, you’re thinking: “What am I going to say next?” If you try to memorize every pick-up line and PUA routine, you’re bound to fail. Women can tell when you’re overly nervous or simply repeating rehearsed lines. It’s important to stay calm and act natural when trying to pick up women. Keep it simple and formulate your own solutions according to the type of response you’re getting from the girl. It’s amazing how much your confidence will skyrocket once you are able to eliminate those mental blocks caused by social anxiety.

Gaming a girl is all about taking the right approach, grabbing her attention, and running with it. Your ultimate goal is to get her intrigued, asking “who are you?” as she becomes interested in learning more about who you are. When you’ve built up enough intrigue, don’t be afraid to make a move, whether verbally or physically. Don’t miss out on your window of opportunity to score with her.

Common thought has it that a girl’s wedding is the most important day of her life. In the city of Las Vegas, common thought takes a backseat to blind, drunken interpretation; and it is this drunkenness that puts the bachelorette party a step ahead of the actual wedding day itself. Known as the last night of single freedom, the bachelorette party is seen as the bride-to-be’s last chance to fully enjoy ever facet of Sin City without the looming gaze of man making her feel guilty about her choices. With few restrictions on the night, a Las Vegas bachelorette party could make for some wild tales the morning (rather, afternoon) after.

Riding in Style

Being the lady of the hour, the bachelorette should get the ability to fully enjoy every facet of her evening, including thetransportation. Though the Strip is small enough to warrant walking or calling a taxi, neither option is all too glorious. Rather, the head hen should be able to pull up to the event’s venue housed in the comfort and extravagant style of a stretch limousine. The most “girly” of the limousines available is the Pink Stretch SUV, which offers the same high end amenities as any other stretch SUV (such as a surround sound system and on-board mini-bar) just with a hot pink flare.

An Endless Stream of Options

Known for its nightlife, Las Vegas is home to a plethora of partying options. With nightclubs and strip clubs galore, the decision of “where to go” has never been more difficult. No matter which venue is chosen, though, the party will likely be treated like royalty. At many nightclubs, bachelorettes are greeted with free drinks from random nightclub patrons that feel they can sway her from making a “big mistake”.

While most girls can find beauty in the nude female form, some may not find themselves comfortable watching a bunch of toned hotties grooving on the stage of a Las Vegas strip club. For those squeamish ladies, clubs like Sapphire and Olympic Gardens are home to Las Vegas’ hottest male revues. If the group stands out as being a bachelorette party, the soon-to-be-bride may find herself being pulled on stage by one of the shows oiled up gods for an up close and personal show. If a larger stage show is desired, Sin City is also known for The Excalibur’s Thunder from Down Under and the Rio’s Chippendales, two broadway-esque male revues with production values that rival many of Sin City’s performances.

As a little gift to the future groom, the party can also participate in what’s known as “Stripper 101” classes. At these brief instructions, girls will get the chance to learn some of the most prolific stripper moves involving the coveted stripper pole. If the bachelorette can take away even just one or two of these moves, her man will be in for a wedding night treat.

There is plenty going on in Vegas that the concept of “boring” is null and nonexistent within the city limits. No matter the tastes of the bachelorette, there is some form of entertainment to keep her pleased throughout the entirety of the night. From relaxing spas to heart racing strip shows, Las Vegas truly does have something for everyone. Ready to book your package check out bachelorettevegas.com

Some cities thrive on the day-to-day business that tourism and the surrounding industrial and urban areas bring in. During the witching hours, though, these bustling cities shut down and cater only to the occasional night owl seeking out some late night indulgences and cheap entertainment. On the opposite end of the spectrum from these cities is a relatively small strip of road that acts as the epicenter of the desert metropolis of Las Vegas. While what is most popularly known as the focal point for the city of Las Vegas pales in comparison to some of the nations bigger cities, there is no question that when it boils down to 24-hour entertainment, Sin City reigns supreme. With a nightlife matched by no other American city, it’s no surprise that Las Vegas is at the top of the countries hottest tourist destinations.

Las Vegas may best be known for its allure to professional and amateur gamblers near and far, but it’s the crammed parties in the countless nightclubs that truly earn the city its reputation as the nightlife capital of the nation. From the extravagantly decorated TAO nightclub at the Venetian and the Grecian Bathhouse inspired Pure at Caesar’s Palace to lower key, lounge-like establishments like the Bellagio’s Hyde, Vegas houses a varying assortment of nightclubs that caters to an extensive range of personalities. These clubs have grown so popular that, on any given weekend, there are unending lines of “dressed-to-impress” individuals just waiting for their opportunity to experience a taste of those infamous Las Vegas parties. One such establishment whose popularity is evident by the snaking line of waiting individuals is the Cosmopolitan’s Marquee, a newer club in Sin City that has earned its place amongst Las Vegas’ hottest nightclubs.

Complimenting the assorted entertainment found within Sin City’s nightclub scene are the strip clubs scattered throughout the city. Much like the themed nightclubs, each strip club is built with specific premises in mind such as the Greco-Roman flair of the Olympic Gardens. It’s not the club’s décor that attracts the crowd though, and in Vegas, the plethora of gorgeous vixens that take the main stage are more than enough to draw the attention of any straight guy in the city. Where most strip clubs cater to a male audience, Las Vegas is home to several establishments that house all-male revues to bring in a more feminine audience. Sapphire and Olympic Gardens are home to two of the city’s top male performances, and each show contains enough production value to rival any Broadway hit.

There is such a range of viable entertainment just within the club scene alone that Las Vegas has quickly become the prime location for destination bachelor parties within the continental United States. With local services cashing in on the stream of tourism by offering bachelor party packages – which guarantee VIP admission to the city’s hottest night and strip clubs, premium bottle service, and top of the line transportation – there is no question as to the importance of the city’s nightlife.

If you ever come to find yourself amidst the constantly crowded streets of the Las Vegas Strip, you may find that you’ll instinctively start moving with the crowd to the nearest nightlife hotspot. Whether you’re a “party” kind of person or not, there is something indescribable in the air that just sets the overall mood – and whatever that force may be, it’s kept Las Vegas on top of the nightlife scene.

When I got off the plane at McArthur International Airport, I had not even the slightest inclination that my second trip to the Las Vegas Valley would bring me the adventures it did. Sure, I figured the entirety of my trip would be spent in some stuffy-aired casino watching my money escape me faster than I normally earn it. Luckily, on the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, my eyes caught sight of an advertisement that turned me onto what lies beyond “The Strip”.

The promise of seeing the true beauty of the desert surrounding Las Vegas on the back of an ATV was just too good an opportunity to pass up. I’ve been to this dry city before, and while I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the nightclubs and visiting the casino attractions, I knew I would need a little something more to get the most out of this trip. I never thought a guided ATV tour would be my answer. After doing some research to find the best deal, I stumbled across two websites that could help with making reservations and finding the best price possible – ExploringLasVegas.com and BachelorVegas.com. I decided on settling with Bachelor Vegas and found their staff to be an outstanding mix of informative and efficient. Within an hour I found myself booked on a tour three days later that would be taking me to the outskirts of the Hoover Dam, a site I’ve yet to lay my eager eyes on.

Once everything was settled, I spent a few days exploring the city, anxiously waiting the day of my tour. When the day finally arrived, I felt a sense of giddiness and nervousness as I suddenly realized I was in no way prepared to tour the scorching desert. Prior to my departure time, I was able to stop in at a local Wal Mart and equip myself with some sunglasses and a pretty hefty water bottle – anything else I would need, such as head gear, I figured would be provided by the tour.

When I arrived at the gathering location, I found myself amongst a group of twenty-somethings that were just getting away during their college break. If there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout my travels, it’s that the people you travel with have a hefty impact on your enjoyment factor. Needless to say, I was pleased to be in the company of some high energy tourists. Our guide for the day was quick to get on with the show, starting off by explaining in a certain rapid thoroughness the safety guidelines for riding an ATV. He than explained that he would be taking us through some “exciting terrain”, though he was less-than inclined to elaborate.

Just as the guide finished off his safety speech, we were given the chance to climb onto our vehicle and get familiar with the little nuances. Having never ridden on anything more complex than an 8-speed mountain bike, I found myself confused by the plethora of buttons and switches. Luckily, questions were answered accordingly through a brief run-down of the vehicles mechanics and, soon after getting on my ride, I felt comfortable enough to let my child-like excitement surface.

As the tour kicked into motion, I found myself taking up the rear, having no desire to split up the group I was with. Being no local to the Las Vegas Valley, I found myself simply enjoying the passing desert as the tour kept a slower pace initially. The beautiful mix of red and tan that makes up the Nevada desert is a site that must be seen up close. The aerial views that I’m used just don’t do the natural beauty any sort of justice. I found myself panicking only the slightest bit as our tour started to pick up speed and the comfort of civilization rapidly dissipated behind me.

One thing I never expected to see, mostly due to my own blind ignorance, was any sort of wildlife. Though most skirted away as our vehicles neared them, I was able to catch glimpses of several small coyotes, one of which was seemingly gnawing on its prey before the roar of our vehicles disturbed it. Each time we passed an awe-inspiring display of the perfection of Mother Nature, I lamented on my inability to stop and take pictures on my own free will – a rule in place for safety reasons, of course.

Maybe 30 to 45 minutes into the tour the terrain started to get a little jostling. Each shifting jolt had me feeling like I was going to topple off of my vehicle, but as our time on the sandy dunes of the desert grew, as did my comfort level. There is a certain amount of adrenaline that courses through your body as you find yourself bounced from one dune to the next, and I can assure you it is a feeling that all must experience.

The tour was listed as being several hours long, but I can attest to the fact that it felt no more than an hour. Between drinking in what I can only describe as the “ugly” beauty of the desert and the rush of adrenaline that being on the back of an ATV provides, time flew by quicker than I could ever imagine. Before I knew it, I was parked and overlooking the rim of the Hoover Damn with a group of people that, despite not knowing previously, seemed like a close group of friends. One of the best things about the tour itself was the knowledge that the guide had about the dam itself. While I initially thought we would simply be treated to the sites of the structure, I found myself surprised by the brief history lesson that had us learning the back story behind what was once known as the Boulder Dam.

Overlooking the manmade magnificence that is the near 85 year old damn was an exquisite display, well worth the sore rear end from the lengthy ride through the desert. The water of Lake Mead that pooled at its base was empty, which ensured that no other tourists would taint our view. The guide continued on with the dam’s back story, and while I was certainly interested in the history, I could put myself away from the distraction that was our view of this magnificent structure surrounded by a gorgeous display of mountainous terrain.

Time passed by a bit too quickly, though, and just as soon as we got there and the guide started the story of the dam, he was describing the most recent addition of the dam bypass in 2010. While I found myself disappointed by the need to part ways with this spectacle, I knew that we still had a fairly lengthy ride back to civilization that would surely offer much more opportunities to fully enjoy myself. I saddled back onto my ATV thinking about all those poor saps mindlessly hitting the “repeat bet” button, experiencing nothing more than a mix of frustration and anticipation within the solid walls of a Strip casino; and as we passed by a pair of roadrunners gazing at us with curious eyes, I couldn’t help but think of what else I may have been missing out on by falling into the typical Las Vegas routine of simply enjoying the nightlife.

Constructed in the early 1900’s, this property is the personification of Las Vegas’ gambling history. Remodeled several times throughout the years, the Las Vegas Club has taken on the modern flair that the city has grown accustomed to housing. Despite the change from classic and rustic to modern and classy, there’s no question that the Las Vegas Club still offers everything that is guaranteed to bring in a steady stream of tourism. This classic location at the edge of the Freemont Street Experience houses 408 luxurious guest rooms. Between the convenient location and the hotel’s level of comfort, it’s not question as to how this hotel survived over sixty years of change and growth.

The standard room in the newer South Tower at the Las Vegas Club comes in at a petite size of 370 sq-ft. Don’t let the smaller size sway you, though, for every inch of that 370 sq-ft room is as inviting as one twice the size. Equipped with either one king or two queen beds, two plush chairs, and a television that broadcasts the newest in cinema releases, these South Tower rooms are bound to keep the guests returning. King rooms will also come with the added luxury of a plush sofa. On the opposite end of the hotel in the North Tower, guests are treated to the same comfort within a 380 sq-ft space. Both rooms offer a shower/tub combination in the attached bathroom.

A stay at the Las Vegas Club stretches far beyond the two hotel towers, though, as this off-the-strip establishment is attached to a 50,000 sq-ft casino floor. While the typical slot and video machines make up the bulk of this locations gaming, guests can find themselves partaking in a helping of table games such as Keno, Blackjack, and Roulette.

Outside of gambling, the Las Vegas Club is in a prime spot in terms of entertainment. A few feet from the hotel’s main entrance is the Freemont Street Experience. Street performers, vendors, and a slew of other shops and entertainment offer the perfect stretch of closed-off road to traverse down. Flanking the road itself are some of Sin City’s most classic establishments, all welcoming guests for a quick pop-in.

In terms of on-site entertainment, the Las Vegas Club fails to disappoint. Between the stage production of “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” and the club-like atmosphere found at the Swingers Club, guests are bound to find something that suits their tastes. Not only does the Swingers Club offer a slew of live entertainment, including the infamous dueling pianos, but a nine-hole miniature golf course will also surprise patrons as they enter the club.

It may be set a ways off the Strip, but the Las Vegas Club is its own version of the luxury and class that Sin City typically offers. Being right off of the Freemont Street Experience increases the entertainment factor offered by the establishment, a factor that was already through the roof.

Opening as the first of six projects that were to make up the extravagant CityCenter on the Las Vegas Strip, Vdara Hotel & Spa would need to stand out as an establishment built on opulence, class, and luxury. After its December 2009 grand opening, this resort easily topped the list as one of Sin City’s most luxurious venues. With over 1,400 suites and a two story, 18,000 sq-ft spa and fitness center, Vdara easily drew in a crowd that, even 2 years after its opening, is still asking for more of this locations top-of-the-line amenities.

Making up Vdara’s overnight accommodations are five different room variations. The most basic of them are the 582 sq-ft Deluxe and Premium View suites. A custom designed pillow-top mattress welcomes guests to their plush oasis while a contemporary gourmet kitchen lets them know that there is no need to leave the room. A dual-sink bathroom and separate living room with pullout sofa top off the five-star amenities of these rooms. Where the Premium View suite excels is exactly as the name implies. Guests are offered a view of either the luxurious CityCenter of the famous Fountains of Bellagio, a site that any tourist would die for. At 791 sq-ft are the City Corner Suites, which are essentially larger versions of the Premium View suites. 809 sq-ft of luxury and comfort come with the Vdara Suite. With everything the Deluxe, Premium View, and City Corner Suites has to offer, the Vdara suite allows for a little more legroom for those welcomed guests. At 836 sq-ft are the Panoramic Suites, which offer a 270-degree view of the brightly lit Las Vegas Strip. Vdara may not impress with completely oversized rooms, but with what it does have to offer, there’s no need to overcompensate.

Being located right next to CityCenter offers an advantage to Vdara that most Sin City hotels do not have – high end shopping and dining. Access to the opulent shopping center, Crystals, grants Vdara’s guests first rate shopping and dining opportunities at some of the city’s highest end locations. Dining options within the hotel include the Market Café, which offers an array of high end cuisine.

While Vdara may lack its own on-site entertainment, the locations five-star salon, spa, and fitness center more than makes up for its few shortcomings. Guests can partake in an assortment of spa and fitness activities before treating themselves to the salon services to get ready for a night on the town. The two story spa is the best on the Strip, and it will take a lot of work for another venue to come even close.

Vdara may not hold the entertainment value that some of the other Sin City hotels do, but what it does offer is more than enough to attract a large crowd. It’s centralized location right next to CityCenter and across the street from the MGM Grande ensures that any guest will be in walking distance to the best of Las Vegas.

On April 20th in 1955, Las Vegas became the home to a new style of resort. Where-as previous establishments in the city looked more like traditional motels, this hotel ushered in the concept of the high rise, initializing the kick-off for the buildings Vegas is known for today. Nearly 60 years later, the Riviera is still providing the best of what Sin City has to offer at a fraction of what the newer properties cost.

If there’s one thing that the Riviera has done gracefully, it is age. Unlike some off-the-Strip locations that have been around the block a few times, the Riviera still has the glam and style that fits appropriately within the rest of the city. One area where this hotel certainly doesn’t falter is its accommodations. Though the hotel may be on the higher end of old, the rooms have been renovated over time to offer the same comfort and style that tourists of today are looking for.

The Classic Room of the Riviera looks all but what would be expected from a room described as “Classic”. Light wood furnishings line the perimeter of the room, offering a comfortable place to sit and have a nice hot cup of room service coffee or that little office set-up for the employee on the go. These 430 sq-ft rooms come with pillow top mattresses that make getting out of bed in the morning all the more difficult. Pet lovers will be pleased at the Pet Friendly Classic Rooms, which are separate from regular Classic Rooms for the allergenic traveler. For those looking for a little more space, the Riviera also offers an assortment of Deluxe Rooms.

Darker wood accents bring out a sense of luxury and style with the upgraded Luxury Room. A more contemporary style flows throughout without sacrificing an ounce of comfort. “Euro” pillow top mattresses invite guests the moment they walk through the door. Longer term guests will be pleases to find the inclusion of a refrigerator, making it possible to finally save those leftovers from any of the hotel’s five-star restaurants.

Following in the contemporary look of the Luxury Room is the Studio Suite. Arranged in the same manner as a studio apartment, these suites offer a separating sitting area for optimal comfort and space. The dark wood accents of the Luxury Room can be found throughout this suite while the bathroom is upgraded with a marble vanity and shower / tub. Extending on the concept of this luxury suite is the One-Bedroom Deluxe Suite, which tacks on a separate powder room for convenience.

Rounding off the best experience on could have at the Riviera is the Penthouse, a 1,000 sq-ft haven located at the top of the hotel. An oversized sitting area welcomes more guests while a jetted whirlpool tub guarantees a relaxing night.

Once guests get the willpower to pry themselves away from these lavished rooms, they’ll be pleased to find that the five-star amenities continue to flow throughout the hotel. Dining options come in the form of the R Steak and Seafood, the Queen Victoria Pub, the Banana Leaf Asian Restaurant, and the Poolside Café. No matter, no appetite will go unfulfilled.

After a heft meal, guests can partake in one of the Riviera’s numerous stage shows, which include the likes of classic comedic legend Andrew Dice Clay. The Comedy Club ensures the laughs go well into the wee hours of the morning while ILLUSIONS starring Jan Rouven will keep the crowd mystified.

Despite its age, the Riviera continues to have the potential to stand up against the current heavy hitters of Sin City. If its comfort, style, and class that’s desired, Riviera can provide it at a much lower cost.

If you drive through Las Vegas and its surrounding city’s, you’re bound to come across a slew of gas stations with a rather peculiar name. Terrible’’s started off as a family-owned oil company under the name of Terrible Herbst Oil Company. In 1987, twenty-eight years after the formation of the oil company, the grandchildren of the company’s founder formed Herbst Gambling – and from there arose the Terrible’s Hotel and Casino in 1997. Today, Terribles is a local hotspot in Las Vegas, but still offers top of the line amenities.

When you step inside a Terrible’s hotel, you’ll quickly realize that the name is no indication of the venue and service. A friendly staff will warmly welcome you as you go through the usual process of hotel check-in. In terms of looks, Terrible’s exterior looks akin to a large saloon. On the inside, though, it carries a much more polished, inviting look that makes it the perfect spot to spend a week off.

Accommodations come in the way of standard / deluxe rooms and larger suites with a higher end look at an affordable price. Standard rooms offer the basics of hotel living. A comfortable king or queen pillow top mattress dares guests to try and get out of bed in the morning. Deluxe rooms are slightly larger then the standard and offer higher end furnishings. Suites, as expected, are the highest end of what Terribles could offer. Offering more space and designed as a room for maximum comfort and luxury, the Suite at Terribles is a bargain compared to what other hotels charge.

Terribles may not be up to the same standards as the more expensive locations on the Strip, but it can certainly hold its own. With a full-sized resort pool located at the center of the resort for ease of access, guests will have the option for some fun in the sun when the expansive casino floor starts to wear on them. For a host of live entertainment, park yourself at the Entertainment Stage Bar where you’ll be treated to a plethora of live music to drink the night away to. Terribles is also located just 1 mile south of the Las Vegas Strip, which will equate to a rather inexpensive cab or bus ride. Also right down the road from this hotel is the Atomic Testing Museum. At the ATM, visitors will get a taste of what life was like during the Atomic age in the Nevada desert. Watch witness recounts of the tests and get a hands on look of how an atomic missile is assembled.

Dining options at Terribles come in the form of the Terribles Buffet and Bougainvillea Café. An assortment of tasty appetizers and full sized entrees guarantee that there is no such thing as an empty stomach in this hotel. You’ll also be in range of some of the city’s better restaurants, such as Tony Roma’s.

If you’re looking for the Las Vegas experience at budget hotel prices, you can turn your attention to Terribles Hotel and Casino.

As you drive down the 215 in Las Vegas, you can see it in the distant – a towering high-rise glimmering gold in the distance, sticking out like a sore thumb amongst the sea of small business and residents. Though it may be 10 minutes south of the Las Vegas Strip, the South Point Hotel and Casino is everything you could ask for out of a Sin City resort sans the potentially obnoxious crowd roaming the streets below.

Opened on December 22nd of 2005, the South Point hotel has successfully attracted a crowd of locals and outsiders alike with its fine arrangement of five star amenities and accommodations. A stay at the South Point hotel doesn’t come with all the added on bells and whistles that other hotels offer for higher rates and it most certainly doesn’t need them. The rooms at this fine resort are standard Guest Rooms and a more upgraded Guest Suite – you won’t find a vast array of room types all offering unnecessary tack-ons and overly extravagant décor.

South Point’s Guest Rooms are as high end as a basic hotel room can get. Each room offers 500 sq-ft of comfortable living space complete with a flat screen high definition television, a small table perfect for that early morning coffee, and a plush sofa that overlooks the South Point’s gorgeous views. These rooms are available with one king or two queen pillow top mattresses, which offer the highest end of comfort one could ask for.

Guests looking for a more spacious set-up can turn their attention to the South Point’s Guest Suites. These arrangements come in a variation of sizes, starting at 825 sq-ft all the way through 2,500 sq-ft. The Guest Suites are equipped with upgraded bathrooms, 42” plasma televisions, in-suite fax/printer/copier, and can include either one or two bedrooms. No matter what room you choose at the South Point, though, you’ll be guaranteed a free ride to and from McCarran International Airport.

Since the South Point is set a several miles away from the Strip, it’s important that the resort be self-sufficient in terms of entertaining its guests. On top of housing the Showroom where any number of acts, including the great Tony Orlando, will be performing weekly, the South Point is also home to its own Arena and Equestrian Center. At any given moment, the South Point could be hosting anything from a rodeo to a boxing match.

Outside of live performances, guests can find comfort poolside at the South Point’s own resort pool. A wading pool and hot tub create the perfect settings for those days of relaxation – and guests will be pleased by the convenience of a poolside deli. Beyond the pool, anybody looking to chow down on some grub can partake in fine and casual dining. From succulent steaks at the Silverado Steakhouse to Don Vito’s Italian cuisine to the quick and inexpensive eats at Steak n Shake, going hungry at South Point is not an option.

Though South Point may seem like a location made strictly for locals due to its placement, this off-the-Strip resort offers everything one would need for a week getaway.

Anybody that’s been to the movies is probably fairly familiar with the MGM lion logo. Since 1924, this logo has graced the motion picture industry with its memorable presence. In December of 1993, the logo made its debut on Las Vegas Boulevard with the grand opening of the MGM Grand. To date, this 30-floor resort remains to be one of Sin City’s most predominant hotels, a fact that 6,800 luxury rooms and five-star amenities keeps true.

The main entrance to the MGM Grand spills out into an entrance that can only be described as, well, grand. Surrounding the slew of potential guests is a room that, while plain with décor, echoes enough class to attract even the most opulent individuals. The somewhat lengthy stroll through the casino floor and hotel halls that one must go through to get to their room only further provides example of the establishment’s extravagance.

In terms of accommodations, the MGM is on top. Outside of having a large array of rooms to choose from, the MGM Grand ensures that each room is just as nice, if not nicer, then the previous. On the more basic end of MGM’s rooms are the West Wing King and Tower Deluxe King / Queen rooms. Being the basics of the MGM, these rooms set the high standard for the rest of the hotel. The West Wing King room offers 350 sq-ft of contemporary living, with a pillow top king bed and a bathroom right out of the space age. Coming in at 446 sq-ft, the Tower Deluxe Rooms offer either one king or two queen pillow top mattresses. An oversized vanity creates ample space in the black and white marbled bathroom.

Next up for MGM’s accommodations are the hotels luxury Suites. Available in seven different varieties, including the Bungalow, Celebrity Spa, Hollywood, Marquee, Terrace, Glamour, and Premiere, these suites range from 675 to 1,500 sq-ft of comfort and class. Each suite contains its own quirk, such as the Celebrity Spa suite, which comes with an on-suite oversized whirlpool tub accented in Italian marble. No matter the tastes, the MGM Suites are more then well-equipped in satiating the needs of the guest.

Rounding off the high end accommodations at the MGM Grand are two separate resorts – The Signature and Skyloft. The Signature, for lack of a better description, is more akin to a small to mid-size apartment. The suites at The Signature are available in 550, 950, 1500 sq-ft varieties and can include one to two luxury bedrooms. Decorated in a style that can only be described as lavished contemporary, these suites include plenty of dark wood accents, a spacious bathroom, and a mini on-suite kitchen.

The Skyloft at the MGM Grand is a AAA Four Diamond award winner, made evident by the architectural design of these 2-story lofts. On top of the typical elegant style that the MGM is famous for, the Skylofts also come with a 24-hour butler and concierge service that is sure to make anyone feel like a celebutant.

The MGM Grand is far more then just high end accommodations, though. A stay at this five-star resort will also put guests in line with some of the most succulent dishes to be found on the Strip. The Italian-themed Fiamma, Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak, the fresh oceanlife of Seablue, and the Asian-inspired Pearl are just the tip of the delicious iceberg. A full sized food court and the Studio Café ensure guests can grab a bite to eat at any time of day.

It should come as no surprise that the entertainment factor at the MGM is fairly high. Outside of a massive casino floor, the MGM Grand is also home to world renowned shows like David Copperfield and the acrobatic Cirque De Soleil KA. Hidden deep within this resort’s interior is an area known as the Studio Walk. Here, travelers can partake in the unique CSI Experience, where they’ll be pit in the shoes of a real Crime Scene Investigator, or visit CBS Television City, which allows them to be on a research panel for new television shows.

When the destination city is Las Vegas, then there should be no question that the destination hotel be the extravagant MGM Grand.
