When you walk in to Spa Walden, you’re invited into a beautiful, contemporary, serene atmosphere with white and earth-toned decor. There’s a lot of natural wood, stone and big glass windows looking out into the countryside. Before you begin your massage, you’re asked whether you prefer a Balancing, Energizing, Nourishing, Rejuvenating or Tranquility themed experience. If I remember correctly, this is how the music, essential oils and stress areas are selected.

The spa suites here are exactly as stated…suites. They are enormous! In my room I had a full vanity, private full-size walk-in rain/massage shower, wardrobe closet, massage table, private lavatory and a contemporary whirlpool soaking tub. Everything was perfectly clean. Complimentary water and hot tea were provided on the vanity. My spa suite also had a large padded window seat with pillows where I took a short nap after my massage. Spa Walden is especially soothing in the middle of winter when you can look out and watch the snow fall.

The 90-minute massage was excellent. Very relaxing, comfortable and exactly as I had hoped for. After the massage, you can relax in the lounge with a glass of wine by the fireplace. It’s hard to actually leave this place!

Yes, the treatments here are moderately expensive, but the value of what you receive makes it worth every penny. Honestly. I would save my money year-round if that meant I could book another massage here. You only live once! You will not be disappointed by the Spa Walden experience.

Jessa has always had a desire to somehow be involved in the Event Industry and found her niche in in the ever-evolving wedding market.  She calls it a, “fluke” that she was asked to write professionally about wedding trends for WEtv in their blog, “The Dubious Bride”.  Shortly after, she went on to cover the Royal Wedding and celebrity weddings.

Jessa is a Member of the International Special Event Society and sits on their Marketing and Communications committee.  In her free time, she donates her planning skills to local non-profits such as Medwish, Dogs Unlimited Rescue and the American Cancer Society.
