In the 3rd chapter of FORWARD, Youri Zoon is on a roll. 2012 is a successful season so far, but the battle with his biggest rival Alex Pastor is far from over. We see how Youri goes the extra mile to stay on top his game in both material, physical state and training conditions.
In the last chapter of FORWARD his faith will be decided. Will he manage to prolong his title?

In the second chapter of FORWARD, Youri Zoon is back on on track and shows the local kinds in Cape Town that kiteboarding is fun.
Even with the title in his pocket, he is still searching for new possibilities to defend his world title. These new tactics bring great opportunities, but sometimes even bigger risks. Youri has to decide: is this the time to take a leap into something new? Is he willing to open himself to a new way of kiteboarding to push his riding to a higher level?

3th place after a long way up!

Not to bad , definetly wanted to get higher up there but was stopped by Marc who was riding very good! S

till stoked about the competition nearly everyday earning the highest score, as well as yesterday 38.7, witch gives me a really good motivation that my gear is definetly working the way i want to!

Next up is france. Looking forward again and leaving this one behind!

SO here is the DSQ from my side!

The heat went really well, till the DSQ highest scooring heat of the day i have been told. Anyway in the last 30 sec pretty much i saw louis hutter going in and going for a trick, he crashed the trick and i took of just a little down wind of him, at that time the kite was still at 12o clock on his leash.

I was trowing a 317 and landed it clean at that moment louis his kite was at the water and right in front of me no change of avoiding the kite. In this case was the down wind rider and during the trick i could have no way avoid the kite. the verdict well rules are rules! In my opninion , people that make those rules are a bunch idiots that don,t have the experience on the water!! D

o we wanna live by written rules ? im sorry but i dont!

Well lets look it from the bright side now! Had a really good heat landing a BJ 5 and 317 , conditions where perfect for 11m GP. And the fact i was going for the highest score of the day does good to me!
