In past and present Pakistan blamed to be named as Terrorist. But the martyr of three innocent Pakistanis from an American hand, what we going to call this? Isn’t a sheer act of terrorism?

Well, when I discuss with my family and friends everyone has same piece of opinion, Raymond Davis is a terrorist and he did spread terrorism in the streets of Pakistan. Now let’s analyze the whole scenario,

We know Americans have great penetration not in our politics but in all ISLAMIC countries politics.

We know War of terrorism isn’t our war its and American war.

We also know they are afraid of ISLAMIC system so that they raise the voices for democracy.

We know when America gives their favor; in return they demand the rule of law of their choice in the country.

We know all elected leaders are not real democratic leaders.

We know BLACK WATER is in our land.

We know MRS DR AFIA SADDIQUE; a PAKISTANI is innocent but sentence for 80 years prison just because America wants to hide its shame less act of Afghanistan JAIL.

We know in Pakistan our leader have their sincerity only with America.

We know those entire persons killed in DRONE acts were innocent and were not terrorists but Americans are.

We know TWIN TOWER attack was a planned attack by JEWS and Americans.

We know we are innocent.

We know who is real terrorist in our land

BUT

what we don’t know is we have conscience,

we have voices to raise against injustice,

we have ability to be united, we have honesty to serve,

we have love to share and care, we have eye to see the vultures in our country,

we really don’t know what we have and have not.

This is sad because nation never work on such trails in which loyalties are auctioned on the price of innocent lives. We have to stand against all these inequalities and American penetration. It’s high time, it’s high time, and it’s high time, before we got late. We don’t need Egyptian revolution we need revolution of HONESTY, SINCERITY AND TRUTHFULNESS. So, all those super powers who want to suppress us will never see such thing even in their dreams. We have to lift up as MUSLIM NATION and prove our country to be ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN, which was only freed for the rule of law of ALLAH.

Please don’t devote yourselves but also devote your souls for your country.

The day before yesterday I was watching a movie "alive", which was made in 1993 based on true story of survival. How they met extreme condition of weather and how they manage to remain energetic. The story had too deep emotional contact with my neuron transmitters that I could not come out from its effect. This is also true that I laugh when they laugh and I caught my breath when they were in dilemmas. Film was awesome and acting and those actors were great in their talent. I was deeply touched by circumstances and care.

Now the question must arise in minds that why I am discussing this thing and feeling?

Is that only because I found the movie good and awesome? Or else is the acting talent?

Well let me tell you I am discussing this piece of my experience because they survived from extreme conditions because they were all together, they were resolute, they were helping hand and more over they were like a unit.

When I see my land my beloved PAKISTAN I see same hard and I must say severe conditions that my homeland going through with. Like The Electricity load shedding, Gas load shedding, water low loads, and more off that the daily growth in bread and butter prices. I don’t know why my people don’t understand the need of time? Why don’t they realize the cost of unity? Why don’t they made a human chain and alarm the all elite demagogues who don’t know the meaning of winter nights without any heating system as they were in their luxurious livings!

I simply cannot understand why my people don’t hear their inner voice rather the noise of political leaders who don’t even give them a right to tough, and block the traffic for hours, for the public on the name of security?

What kind of security they want from the same people to whom they call companions at time of elections? Think and consider kindly just imagine for a minute why they are doing this? They daily squeezed the neck rope of execution on their people, people were dying daily with their families because they don’t eat for weeks, they find suicide more easy on living, people were kidnapped for heavy ransom, mobiles snatched in every area, conditions of living going on alarming range, but our leader don’t even care. Because they were not loyal not a ruling party even all other parties. They are businessman. They sell my land and earn their living. They are garbage and junk of nation.

Attention please! If we want to live and lead at least a normal life we have to be united, we have to be clear on our wants, we have to have get rid of traitors, we have to stand against society evils, we have to prove to be soul Muslims, we have to get back to our holy book our QURAN.

The Alive team faced harsh conditions but they maintain their breathing because they were in their high spirits, they were strong and they were together and bonded. We have to be same resolute and determined for the betterment of our present and future. We are youth we can mold our future with our sincere hard work and with our honest leadership, which could be started from our house to the parliaments and to the far and near corner or our country.

For Face-book users updating their statuses or posting family pictures is for their select friends list but according to new report the information most people believe is private is actually being used by Israel to profile people and spy on them to obtain valuable information.

According to "reliable" sources quoted in France-based, Israël Magazine, Israeli intelligence focuses mainly on Arab and Muslim users and uses the information obtained through their Face-book pages to analyze their activities and understand how they think.

The extensive report allegedly ruffled some feathers in the Israeli government and diplomatic circles and Israel's ambassador to Paris accused the magazine of “making classified information available to the enemy.”

It is an intelligence network made up of Israeli psychologists who lure youths from the Arab world, especially from countries located within the range of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in addition to countries in Latin America

Gerard Niroux -- French professor

Israel's covert activity was uncovered in May 2001, Gerard Niroux, Professor of Psychology at France's Provence University said.

“It is an intelligence network made up of Israeli psychologists who lure youths from the Arab world, especially from countries located within the range of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in addition to countries in Latin America," Niroux, who is the author of a book called The Dangers of the Internet, said.

Niroux said a huge number of men use the networking website to meet women and warned this was unsafe as it is the best way to lure men and find their weak points.

“It is very easy to spy on men using women,” he told the magazine.

This is not the first time Israel has been accused of using Facebook to spy on people and in April 2008 Jordanian paper al-Haqiqa al-Dawliya published an article entitled "The Hidden Enemy" making the same claims.

The paper said it was dangerous because people, especially the youth, often reveal intimate and personal details about themselves on Facebook and similar online communities, making them easy targets for people looking in.

The fact that Israel uses Facebook to spy on Arabs is not just confined to media reports, but it is a general sentiment shared by people in the region.

People have been working as spies without realizing it, the report said, adding by just logging in to a chat room and talking about anything with someone he does not know is enough to do the job.

Any information revealed will be analyzed and used at a later stage.

Israel has a long history of espionage in the Middle East. During the 1956, 1967 and 1973 wars, Israel used to thoroughly examine the obituary pages in Arab newspapers, leading the Egyptian army to ban publishing obituaries of military personnel.

Analyzing the content of Egyptian papers also played a major role in planning for the 1967 war, according to Israeli media reports, adding the war actually started as Egyptian newspapers ran a story that several army officers of different ranks would be having breakfast together at 9:00 a.m. on June 5, 1967, the day Israel attacked Egypt.

Why it’s always been difficult to write for me. May be i had lots of things in my mind and can’t find the starting knot or perhaps haphazardly mingled our neurological stimulus with our heart feelings. But why I am discussing I guess that’s the situation which I always face when I start writing something.

Well today an unusual question came in front of me_ my elder brother asked why you are not happy with life. I was really stunned or answer less. That’s true I am not satisfied but I wonder stuck how he estimated that what I think of my own. I never had been sad either gloomy for others. Well i was bewildered, perplex, and too confused but now I have answer. I always been fair with others or else I tried to be, I tried not to hurt and well avoid lies. Believe me I have had to face many negative attitudes for that but I can’t change. My elder used to say or teach me that in this world you should have to be little manipulated with thing, attitudes matters persons even with own feelings. You can’t be straight forward in expressing. You should understand what other wants to hear or what you should say.

And all these stuff, ohhh! It’s so hard on my nerve. I really want to get rid such double face people. For sake of thought imagine same thing happen to us, like we had been manipulated by others, so devastating I guess. But what, we have had to live in such environment. People all over the planet have same typical requirements. Being optimistic, some day behaviors will revolutionize and I presume it could take a little longer time but yet attainable. So till then keep smiling keep dreaming and be happy always

After a long time I am back on my blog. During past few months it had been really tough as some of our family relations were badly affected by flood, but now by the grace of ALLAH (God) they are settle now.

I don’t know why but sometimes when we start losing hope, then we really did saw such strong resolute person that we again retain our optimism. I always had lots of ups and downs in my life or else more down and few land mark ups which supported me for long. Whenever I became pessimist ALLAH (God) shows HIS all grace and gave me boost for a new day. As I couldn’t continue my study in chemistry which is still my favorite subject, as lack of finances, and I did my graduation privately in those subjects which I never know. Well the good thing is I cleared my graduation without any teacher guidance, and I suppose I did well. And the best thing is I am Graduate now. And I really want to share this with all my friends. I am happy, cheerful, joyful, and jovial or I guess I am in my high spirits of wonderful feelings.

Really it’s so relaxing to share feeling with all other. I really want to thank my too dear reader Judy Harper for her concern. Thanks really I always need such caring friends, you are good and nice. I really had very few friends who know the true essence of relations and Judy you are one.

And I am happy or happier.

The floods have already killed an estimated 1,500 people over the past week, most of them in the northwest. An estimated 4.2 million Pakistanis have been affected, including many in eastern Punjab province, which has seen numerous villages swallowed by rising water in recent days.

As fresh rains fell Thursday, bloated rivers gushed toward southern Sindh province, where hundreds of thousands of the most impoverished Pakistanis live along the water because of its fertility and because it is cheaper than safer ground.

“Rains have weakened the protective walls and embankments (along the river). It was difficult to get the people to move from their places because they were not willing to leave.”

An aerial view from a military helicopter showed that a vast area between Multan and Muzaffargarh cities looked like a large lake, with the occasional dead cow floating by.

Manuel Bessler, the UN’s humanitarian chief in Pakistan, said at least 4.2 million people were affected, and that the potential for waterborne diseases was worrisome.

“We are facing a disaster of major proportions,” Bessler told reporters in Geneva by telephone. “Even a week after the disaster we don’t have all the details. Roads are washed away. Bridges are destroyed. Whole areas are completely isolated and only accessible by air.”

Pakistan standing all the way surrounded by the century's big flood. We need prayers and more human efforts so the millions and millions of lives which were effected by flood across Pakistan can get back to their normal living.

life is strange. few days back i saw this image in an newspaper with a caption of childhood of slum children. i was so moved by that image. the same day i read the news about the bill which parliament passed about women harassment.
i felt differently.... its good we have bill , and its blessing we have childhood but what is not right.... there is something perhaps, we don't have positive attitude of our education. we can see the bad side but cant appreciate the good side. i agree slum life if quite a difficult one. i did have a chance to see but what i found good is they are satisfied they are working and progressing. they are all together, they need no sympathies but they do need help. and i dont understand by publishing such image what we are doing?
are we helping them? or
are we making them aware that what they dont have and other people have?
i guess we are spreading an air of unsatisfactory life among those. rather such images i guess media had more moral duty on their shoulders, they should urge people to come out and give them employment. they need work rather sympathies. its a facets of life that sympathies makes us weak. and we want them strong so make society aware of their moral duties.
Women harassment bill through which governmant brought several punishment for such criminals.... but is a civilized society need this? i guess NO
civilized societies don't need such bill. what they need is literacy, education , awareness, and above all conscience which teach them to differ between write and wrong.

childhood is beautiful i also play in mud well that doesn't mean i need to be publicized like i am suffering from life's facilities. of course not.
i only want to make my society aware and especially women, that societies built by us. we are the one we are the home tutor of our children and role model ... we have to taught next generation how to draw a line betwixt right and wrong.
we should rise moral values right from our homes. and
i mast say to all journalist please spread positivity among general mass rather disappointment and hopelessness condition.
we are the people who will put the first stone of healthy society.

Well I don’t know why I always found relations so complicated. When I start thinking that I know what other wants, the right next moment my whole approach of mind collapsed. Well its good for me I always keep discovering the worth of people but sometimes I really being little selfish. Really I am sometimes or you can say I being irritatingly demanding. I don’t know should I be or not but yes I do behave like stubborn. You know my mother even my brothers always said girls should show some elasticity as they have to step into another’s life so girls have show some kind of _____ you know cool temperament, patience and above all contentment. Ohhhhhhh well I have all qualities but question which always come in my mind is that, why so much adjustments? Oh I don’t actually know my capacity or capability but yes ______ a thought of married life is always give me a dramatic or can say filmy sentiment, like a perfect happy family.

I guess you all wonder that why I wrote about this well I am also wondering same question about myself, why I write on this. Bu truly give me your opinion, in love or arrange marriage, every girl have to make lots of adjustment or is it only a pseudo statement.

One thing I believe is that, if we don’t have the practical approach of any incident we can’t feel the actual pain from which people go through during the difficult times of their lives…… that’s what happened a day back, and that’s what make me remind of all those moments when I felt sheer loneliness and need a touch of love!!

Loneliness is the biggest bug of life. Well I consider the pain of those people, who don’t have any one around them for care, share and love.

I used to be a very loving and stupid girl together. During my educational time in my school and my college ohhhhhh me and my friends disturbed huge number of girls we were so mischievous. I guess when someone see our group they were so definite that we will have something in our mind….. Sometimes we did pranks with our friends too. The same happened with me. My exams our coming nearer and nearer and I don’t attend college on regular basis and used to study now a day’s. Well I don’t belief still what a weird day I spent yesterday. I had been befooled by friends…. Ooooo that’s not so fair.

Story starts with mobile ring, as it rang, I picked the call other side was my friend and she was saying we were plan to attend college tomorrow so be there sharp at 8 o’clock. As I am little punctual I was there at 7:55 and start waiting for my friends. Waiting, waiting and waiting….. Its nine o’clock now and no one yet appeared. College gates were closed and my all hopes were dried out. And near 9:35 I received a breaking call that they befool me. I get up and start searching for some recognized face to talk as a time pass friends. But searching for whole science block I found no one familiar. Ahhhhh (a sigh)!! No one not a single girl,  Oops, and 5 hours to spend. I tried to study but can’t develop concentration. I felt a vast sea of empty feelings inside me, alone…….. No I can’t be. As hardly and barely spend all those hours. And when I get back I gave a tight hug to my mother, and felt alive again….. I didn’t say anything to my friends but thanks them that they made realize the worth of near and dear ones again  .

I know we know the worth of our relations but what I learned is that sometimes in our life we were so busy to feel the importance of those who close and around us and that time, we need a little push and we were all their to care and love with new momentum again. 

Relations on edge______Indian Republic day

Today would be national celebration in India. They are celebrating democracy in every meaning. But yet they show their conservative nature in so called IPL series by humiliating the PAKISTANI players. It isn’t matter of money or fame. It is a matter of communal harmony which PAKISTAN very keen to develop betwixt two nations. But unfortunately Indians cut the tread of peace process. In Pakistan numbers of reactions come out by boycotting their products and especially channels. And I am also in one of them who stand for my national pride. But this hurts me is _____ unfortunately! It is said that Artists and Players are the key of tranquility and peace but this key had broken again from Indian side.

Indian said that they did this for security reasons but if they were receiving such threads why they won't inform PAKISTAN before? why they waited for the occassion? i think they should answer this also!!!!

After all this happening several questions arose in my mind.

First Question:

Why this happen? Is this the nature of international politics in India to down cast Pakistan always?

Second Question:

Pakistan always looks forward for peace in this continent__ how long we should keep forgetting such kind of attitudes of India?

Third Question:

Did ever this cricket game would be come out from the politics?

Why India doesn’t accept Pakistan from their hearts too?

Why doesn’t Indian accept UNO’s order about Kashmir?

Why world remain silent when KASHMIRI’s are being terrorized by Indian army?

Why no one stands for justice and speaks for the MUSLIMS rights too?

I really want to know. I want to know what other think about this? I want to know why media defining Islam as a terrorism religion? I want to know why

Everyone have their own rights. We never force anyone. If anyone proud to be Christian so it’s their rite. So do ours if we want to live according to Islam. We as Muslims, our land Pakistan, our people Pakistani’s and foremost our religion Islam which is the most peaceful, most loving, forgiving and tolerating region and religion of this world.

And where as IPL concern from where I start writing, I only want to say that Pakistan always keen for communal harmony. We will forgive that’s our caliber and our dignity.

The most heart-warming news I have heard in a while came amidst one of the most devastating incidents – the earthquake in Haiti and its after effects results in one more earthquake, which has cost an estimated 200,000 lives. Given the scale of death and destruction in Port-au-Prince, it is not surprising that the media has flooded the Haitian capital, documenting each detail as the catastrophe unfolds. Indeed, it is the most news-worthy incident in recent times. For that reason, I was overwhelmed when I came across a certain rescue incident involving Australian media crews.

On Monday, an Australian News crew rescued an 18-month-old baby from underneath the rubble, signifying that at times life comes before the job of a journalist.

Richard Moran, a cameraman with the commercial Nine Network, put down his camera and lifted pieces of concrete out of the way while Nine’s interpreter and fixer Deiby Celestino climbed into the tangled mess to retrieve the child.
“And then, out of the ruins came this little girl, and I will never forget it. She did not cry. She looked astonished, almost as if she was seeing the world for the first time,” Nine reporter Robert Penfold told The Australian.

I am sharing this part of news because I found its so humane like this demand sensitive measures, when the call of duty is more about saving lives then making headlines.

i remember the KASHMIR earthquake in Pakistan, when during reconstruction work, workers found a 56 years old lady "ALIVE" after 90 days of earthquake.

A twelve year small girl running on road breathlessly, everyone stare at her face, her sweated cloths. The people passing by thinking she is mad. No one dared to stop her and ask her misery…..

Ten days before

Mother (coughing badly, laying on her bed, calling her daughter) Sana! Where are you? Bring me a glass of water please… sweetheart.

(a small girl with untidy cloths, unmanaged hairs appears)

Sana: yes mother. She is some water take it mother. (She drinks some and sits with the help of her daughter)

Mother: dear! What you think about life?

Sana: mother! I don’t know. Life is not good. I don’t like life.

Mother: why?

Sana: I am not happy. Life is not good. My mother is so ill. See yourself mother. We have no money to go to doctor. Mother! Where is my father?

Mother: he is with Allah (God).

Sana: why he is there we need him more.

Mother: dear he is there so he can watch us. Tell me if I would no more with you and die what would you do?

Sana: (cried terribly, her face all covered with tears) kept silent.

Mother: come close to me, dear this is a world where we all are testifies so Allah (God) will know how good we are? We are testified on many bases like health, money, children, neighbors, parents, believer____ there are many ways HE test us. And you have one too. The day I will die you should be courageous and should show high spirits. Dear! Life is not either good or bad. Life is a exam which we have to clear without and cheating and misbehaving. We should be contended on what we have but we should keep struggling.

It’s just like when u where in kindergarten u learn A, B, C, …….. And when you were in next standard or class you learn how to make word out from these alphabets.

Sana: mother! Are we supposed to learn throughout life?

Mother: yes we certainly learn throughout our life. But we what we care during learning is we have to pick good.

Abandoned minds and souls

Today when I was browsing the newspaper I stuck to a picture of a tree. A very artistic tree. While I was gazing at its beauty…. I don’t know what a sorrow it had in it. The tree with many branches with numerous leaves has many year of history covered in itself.

This tree belongs to Edhi Centre for mentally ill women. Mentally ill is quite a horrified term. It doesn’t mean they are suffering from some disorder its means they are suffering from insufficient love, care respect and look after. It means they are a burden for their families now. It means they have no right to live any more with their family members. It means they are no more human.

Mentally ill I don’t know much about that term may be. But I know when we start talking with them they are so tender. They want to talk they love to share their feelings. What a pathetic people those, who left their parent to die on the road. I long sigh ….. Their lives are so lonely.

I’d been in Edhi house twice in my life to children section, I really felt so weak that I when I saw those innocent abused and illegitimate children’s I cried I a child. I found no cause to stop my tears. I felt helpless. For sake of thought …. Just tell me who are illegitimate are those children or their sinister parents?

They are innocent ……..

Seventy-year old unlettered Naziran with salt and pepper hair, cropped short, speaks only in Punjabi. All she knows is that she is from Hasilpur and has two sons. She has been at the Edhi Center for five years. “I once tried going back, but returned as I couldn’t find my home,” she explains.

Married at the age of 16, and having completed 12 years of education, soft-spoken Saima Khan does not seem to belong at the center. Still, she has been resident here for the last seven years.

The mother of two, a son and a daughter, she decided to forgo her Indian nationality and become a Pakistani when she married her husband, who works in the merchant navy. “When I became ill, my husband divorced me, took the children and went to Malaysia after admitting me here. When I got better, I tried returning to India as there was nothing for me in Karachi. Unfortunately, the Indian government refused to accept me saying I was a Pakistani.”

(1st rain of winter in lahore)

Well may be I never know why I like winter but I am crazy fan of this season. I enjoyed every single moment of this season. Ice cream, Cold coffee and my chocolates mmmmmmm give a taste like no other food article can, so adorable.

Well winter here in Lahore at its full peak. Fog around me gives me a so romantic feeling. My mother always taunts me to care yourself otherwise you will catch by flu, cough or kind of viruses like that. But you know the loveliest thing____ me, my brothers and my mom we enjoyed chocolate chip ice cream last night. And she really felt awesome.

I really always wish that there should always be only three seasons WINTER, SPRING and AUTUM, no summer I don’t like it. In summer it’s about 48 or 49 degree Celsius temperature here, quite unbearable. Well let forget it and solely enjoy winter.

A House of Hopes

“Brick, cement and wood, can only be a piece of art but never called a home until we don’t dress it with emotions and love” said my grandmother, the time when I was about to start my new life. My wedding is an arrange type. I have to fly from Pakistan to London, a whole new world. I had been advised from the every member of my family what to do and what not to do.

It took about 8 hours to reach London airport, and an hour more to reach my new home. During the journey I had been thinking, thinking and thinking about a fairy life like in novels and stories. A perfect happy family tied in a bond of Love and togetherness. I know nothing but flooded my mind with random thoughts. I was so confused and perplexed about the new beginning.

During the whole journey my eyes were kept gazing my hands. And I heard a voice in car “only 15 min and we will be in home”. My breath turns so fast even I can hear the sound of my pulse. And few minutes later car stop. My door was open and I stepped out from the car. The grand, impressive and a luxurious wooden house in front of my eyes___ my house or a home, nothing, it’s my dream. I took a step towards the welcome door; no one was present there to welcome me. The very first time my heart shattered. My mother-in-law and everyone was in their room, only a house maid was there to guide me. I came into my room, and change my dress. I came out in the balcony and saw new crack of dawn, with the emptiness of warmth. This is only a building with DO NOT DISTURB broad. Everyone have their own life and set of rules. My big home turns into a hollow, empty vessel in which I can only hear my own voice.

What is life? How it works?

I am always haunted by such questions, because I never found the right answers. It was said that when everyone says you are wrong then fault must be located in you. Same in my case I always try not to hurt someone but for good fortune everyone got hurt. And for my astonishment they were hurt from such acts which I did in their favor.

Why relations became so complicated? Aren’t they supposed to help, understand, and value you? So, why no one show elasticity?

I hate the feeling of depression but when I got depressed I took long time to be normal. But few days ago I was hurt from someone I loved, I care and I value most in my life.

I always thought if you want to have a healthy life do all that good with others what you want for yourself, not being selfish but being caring.

Alas! I found I am an unbearable negative person on this earth. “A selfish, self-centered, egoistic and stubborn girl”. perhaps this may be true because other may know you better then yourself.

May be I never know why people broke hearts? what kind of satisfaction they would found? I never know either why I am always wrong_____but the only fact i know about this life is "life can never be a bed of roses". and life can never drive you the way you want and above all life is not about EXPECTATIONS.

New research for weight loss........miraculous YOGURT

While some calorie-conscious people may drop dairy products when they're dieting, a new study suggests this strategy could backfire.

Research presented this week at the Experimental Biology conference reveals that yogurt may help turn up the body's fat-burning ability ? making it easier to lose fat while maintaining lean muscle.

The new study ? presented by Michael Zemel, Ph.D., professor of nutrition at the University of Tennessee ? found that individuals who included Yoplait Light as part of their weight loss plan lost significantly more weight compared to others who simply reduced calories. The yogurt eaters lost 22 percent more weight, 61 percent more body fat and 81 percent more trunkal (stomach) fat during the 12-week study.

Zemel and colleagues at the University of Tennessee studied the impact of adding yogurt to a reduced-calorie diet on 34 healthy obese adults who were randomly assigned to one of two diet groups. The Yoplait Light group consumed about 1,100 milligrams of calcium each day, which included three servings of Yoplait Light yogurt. The other low-calcium control group consumed only about 500 milligrams of calcium ? or the amount that's typical of the American diet, which is chronically low in calcium.

All subjects received an individualized diet plan that provided 500 fewer calories than their usual intake. Body weight and blood pressure were recorded weekly, and total body composition was assessed before and after the 12-week intervention by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA).

"Not only did yogurt help the study participants lose more weight--the average weight loss was 13 pounds--they were about twice as effective at maintaining lean muscle mass," Zemel said. "This is a critical issue when dieting -- you want to lose fat, not muscle. Muscle helps burn calories, but it is often compromised during weight loss."

"The moral of the calcium story is to not dump dairy when you're dieting," Zemel said. "Not only is it critical to keep your calcium levels high so you won't lose bone density, it will also help you maintain your muscle mass and increase your fat loss. A diet rich in lowfat dairy foods, like yogurt, can help make your weight loss efforts easier."

Zemel recommends three servings of dairy foods a day, particularly fat free and lowfat choices. Yoplait Light is a fat-free yogurt that is an excellent source of calcium and contains only 100 calories per 6-ounce serving.
