I found the fact that a biscornu have the same shape as a "Ojami", which is a bean bag (see "Otedama" in Wikipedia). I don't know the fact already have been known widely. The one of the Japanese tutorials is shown here.　I've tried to make it!
ちょっと前に、biscornuとおじゃみ(お手玉)が同じ形であるということに、気が付きました(ちょっと興奮～)!…でも、それってすでに知られてることなのかも…。…とは思いつつ、試しに作ってみました。いかがでしょう？

It has to sew longer than the original biscornu. As the figure below, sew same colored lines togather as overlapping the same colored dots.
縫い合わせる長さは、もともとのbiscornuよりも長くなってしまいます(1.5倍ぐらい)。下の図のように、同じ色の点が重なるように、同じ色の線を縫い合わせます。

So cute, isn't it?
思っていたよりも、可愛く仕上がりました。満足です(^_^)。

Sew same colored lines togather as overlapping the same colored dots. The red dotted lines are fold lines.
同じ色の小さな点が重なるように、同じ色の線を縫い合わせます。赤い点線は折り線(山折り)です。輪にしたときの縫い目が裏側にくるよう、少しずらしているのです。

それから、以下は、この『Twisted snakes ornament』のとっても簡略したお仕立て方法です。(下の図はクリックすることで拡大できます。)

Sew same numbered (that are circled) lines togather as overlapping points of the same alphabet. At the points "A"(top of the ornament) and "D"(bottom of the ornamnet), insert string loops or some embellishments, if necessary.
同じアルファベットの点が重なるように、同じ数字(丸で囲まれています)の線を縫い合わせます。必要なら、点A(オーナメントの一番上)や点D(オーナメントの一番底)にひものループや飾りなどを挟みこみます。
