Short Trip to Hyderabad

A long overdue post.

Memorable trip to the southern part of India, Hyderabad (July 2013).

One of my 'must go place', India, thought not the same destinations. I'm glad that I could foretaste the 'dream destinations' travelling together with two other minions, KC and Whilly. It was indeed a memorable trip.

Well, what could be the first impression of yours when one mentioned about India?

Personally, I'm exhilarated with the trip. Planning every single bits from visa to tickets, place of stay to mode of transport and eventually backpacked trip. Sound extremely interesting!!! Woo yeah ~ ~ ^.< Looking forward for the wonderful trip.

Here is part of the flight itinerary:

Due to budget constraints, we board on AirAsia from Kuching -> Singapore then subsequent flight from Singapore -> Hyderabad on the same day (so we can save money on the hotel). For return flight,we fly from Hyderabad -> Singapore, then board on bus to Johore Bahru, from Johore Bahru we board on AirAsia -> Kuching (at the same time visiting Singapore and Johore Bahru). The total expenditure for the flight is RM 1060 per pax.

What are the preparations that we'd done?

First, is to boost up our immune system.

Lots of my friends gave tonnes of advices on types of vaccines to take prior the trip so as to ensure that I would be 'safe and sound' before and after the trip.

Well, 'kia si' me went to have four types of vaccine: Hep A, Hep B booster, Tetanus, and Typhoid. Of course blood testing need to be carried out as well.. Continuously POKE for 5 times in 2 weeks time. That's really no joke!!!

Then, we get our currency changed to rupee and US$.

Store up water supply (2 boxes of mineral water to be shipped to India).

Viola~ here we go. With our precious laptop, minimal clothes (formal wear for presentation purposes), bottles of mineral water and pocket money of 1500 RP and US$ 100 (backup purposes).

Pun Chun Chicken, Biscuit and Restaurant

Ever tasted tender and juicy duck meat noodles?

Well, I visited Bidor, Perak few months ago.

I'm lucky enough to have had the chance to taste the so called famous duck meat noodles which claimed to be the must try food if you visit Bidor.

This special delicacy is sold at Pun Chun noodle house.

After searching for around 10min, here we go to the Pun Chun noodle house and ordered the must tried food.

Forgive me to have such a great imagination.. coz of "鸭腿面"..

Must be something like THIS!!!

I presumed my bowl of noodles comes with HUGE drumstick that I could grab with my hand..

Saliva dripping.. tummy drooling...

To my dismay, this is what I was served.

鸭腿面.. huhuhu.. T.T

Thought it's still categorized as drumstick.. but I want the one that really looks like a drumstick!!!

Ok.. Back to the noodles.

The meat was steamed till soft and tender that you can tear the meat off effortlessly and the soup is so aromatic but there are still rooms for improvement.

For your information, each bowl of the noodles cost RM 7.50. It definitely worth the penny spent.

A day when I get the 'Blockage' cleared

My mood swift like no body business recently.. maybe due to tight schedule or maybe the pms symptoms. Hmm~ never had I realised I could be that busy...

All things seems not right just not right at all.. not pleasing to my little heart.

Life has just worn me out.. knackered! wondering why others could not be considerate, tolerate, ... whatever ...rate to me.. why why why why and why

When I started to point fingers and complaining at others I realised that I've lost the present of God in my life. Reminiscing on what I've been labouring on the past few months I realised that I couldn't go on like this anymore.. Lending a hand to others is important but when this become the burden in my life I shall learn to leave it to God though it is hard most of the time..

Escaping from the routine, here I go.. STARBUCK pampering myself a cuppa while drawing, sketching, consulting, seeking for guidance...... of things buried in my mind. After a 3-4 hours consultation, something stroke my mind.. *Bling Bling*.. a light shines on me.. I'm seeing the blueprint of what I have overlook. Thank God.

Life is always Good.. with a short runaway from routine.

Ini adalah filem tempatan yang pertama saya tonton. Secare keseruluhan saya kategorikan filem ini sederhana (6/10).

IZZAH adalah seorang gadis yatim piatu yang kematian ibu bapanya akibat kemalangan jalan raya. Bapa saudaranya, Taha, mengambil alih tugas memelihara Izzah. Walau bagaimanapun kehadiran Izzah tidak disenangi isteri Taha dan menuduh Izzah membawa bencana dalam keluarganya. Walau bagaimanapun Izzah tetap menghormati ibu bapa saudaranya.

Pak cik Taha banyak berhutang. Disebabkan kesempitan wang dia sanggup menjual anak saudaranya itu kepada seorang pemilik kelab malam. Izzah terpaksa mengikut kehendak pak saudaranya walaupun hatinya tidak rela.

Di situlah dia berkenalan dengan seorang pelanggan bernama Hariz. Hariz telah membeli Izzah dengan harga yang mahal dari pemilik kelab itu dan membawa dia keluar dari neraka jahanam itu. Di atas permintaan Izzah, akhirnya Hariz bernikah dengan Izzah tetapi dengan syarat semuanya mesti dirahsiakan.

Tetapi kehadiran Mila Amylia, anak Tan Sri Rashdan, iaitu model dan pelakon terkenal tanah air menggugat cinta Izzah yang mula berputik kepada Hariz. Hariz telah menikah Mila Amylia atas paksaan ibunya Datuk Sufiah walaupun Hariz sudah tidak mempunyai perasaan cinta kepada Mila.

Semasa Hariz koma di hospital akibat kemalangan jalan raya, Datuk Sufiah telah menghalau Izzah keluar dari bungalow Hariz dan merampas telefon bimbit Izzah.

Setelah keluar dari hospital, Datuk Sufiah memberitahu Hariz yang Izzah telah menjalani hubungan dengan lelaki lain. Hariz dalam perasaan marah telah memberitahu Izzah bahawa dia akan digantung tidak bertali semasa terserempak dengan Izzah di rumah Pak Dollah, pemandu keluarga Datuk Sufiah.

Izzah kemudian kembali ke kampungnya. Pak Dollah sangat marah dengan Datuk Sufiah dan telah memecahkan rahsia bahawa Hariz adalah anaknya yang telah diserahkan kepada suami Datuk Sufiah untuk dijadikan anak angkat serta memberitahu Hariz bahawa Izzah tidak bersalah.

Hariz menyesal dan amat rindukan Izzah telah pergi ke kampung Izzah untuk memujuk Izzah supaya kembali kepangkuannya. Mila pula datang ke kampung Izzah dan menuntut cerai dari Hariz.

Filem ini berakhir dengan Izzah dan Hariz menjalani hidup bahagia tanpa rahsia lagi.

100 Years with You

If it is not because of the contest 100 Tahun Nestle di Sisimu I dun even realised that I am actually the Fans of Nestle. Ehem~

Now I know, not oni me~ but our moms (my housemates and I) and mom's mom also a Fans of Nestle. That's cool~

Oh well~ Forgive me to get over-exited to know that things that I eat and drink 90% is of Nestle product.. O.O..

Simply pay a visit to our kitchen and drawer.. these are the stuffs that I've found. Scary right~

Hmm~ For sweet teeth like me~

This is what we encourage each other when we are worn out by works as well as all the trials in life.

All is well~ with KitKat sweeten up the bitter, sour moment in life.

All the sauces.. to spice up our dishes.. Nom Nom Nom.. Love the cooking time spent together in the weekends and holidays. Muaks~ My housemates..

Not to forget the most important meal in a day - breakfast.

I remembered when I was in my kindy and primary school Dad always say "Finished your Milo before going to school."

Since then Milo + cereals is sort of everyday morning must for me..

As I grew up, I tasted coffee~ from then onward Nescafe has becoming my life companions and seriously I can't live without NESCAFE~~

Just like COFFEE and COFFEE MATE; ME and NESCAFE.. A brilliant match. kikiki..

Great product from Nestle Fitness.. Ehem~ "Shake it Babe" to have a slim figure and Milk before bed..

My First Attempt in Fireworks

I love fireworks.
Too bad, it is sort of once in a blue moon event and only available during special occasion. Thus, capturing the moment is definitely a good idea to cease the beautiful moment.
Always wish to learn how to capture beautiful fireworks.
Despite of destiny.. it's my own lousy skills which I dun even want to share the product.. Too lousy...

Somehow, from some 'sifu' I start picking up techniques for fireworks..
This was captured during the Chinese New Year 2012 in my sweet hometown.
It is a good start~

"You need a new laptop with better specs to support your test", an advice thrown by my Sifu so that I could labour on my tests and be more productive.

Hmm~ I'm not the type going after the evolution of netbook as its progress is much too fast that I could cope unless I'm in need of one..

To get a so call 'GOOD' lappie of course studies need to be carried out to get one that is really worth every bucks that I've spent on..

Btw, I've spent more than a week just to make the decision and another 2-3 weeks to get myself a Christmas Present.

Yes you are right.. exactly as the title of the post.. 1Malaysia Voucher!!! Cool isn't it.

First time in my life of study.. goodness~ Ehem~ getting voucher without any pay??? Doubt it!!!

But this is true.. not prank !

Year 2011 - Looking back

In less than 3 days away we will be bidding goodbye to year 2011 and welcoming a new year 2012. Whether it was a good or bad year in 2011.. it's gonna gone forever. As for me, I will be counting down in Kuching my 2nd home and most probably with bunch of friends having steamboat or what so ever as long as we are together welcoming a new year for a new start.

Well~ I'm not the type love joining the huge crowd for the count down. Thus a simple one with my loved ones will do.

So before the year 2011 ends, there are few events in my life that are worth mentioning either as encouragements or lessons to be learn for my own goods.

# 1 Registered myself in postgraduate study by research after having such a tough warfare with myself. Have always been hoping to go abroad to further my study. It is a way to broaden my view and knowledge in the field that I explored. On the other hand, I could travel around to see and experience the marvellous creations of God. This will definitely broaden my heart not to see myself as the center and be more independent. However, man proposed God disposed.. for some purposes I ought to stay back at my current location to reconnoiter my study and I'm glad that I remained.

I need to redeem my time, for the days are evil.

# 2 Attended the International Night in Punjabi costume.

Tada~ My friends dropped their specs as I showed up in wonderful Punjabi costume. *P.S. The costume was borrowed from Uma, my lovely housemate. Thanks Uma if you happen to read this. :)
In this event, the international students from different countries performed in their national costumes some are from China, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, France, Syria and so on so forth. This really opened my eyes..

#3 Joining the 5th National Summit 2011

This year the Sarawak Branch hosted the national summit and I'm glad that I'd got the chance to handle part of the activities. This is my first time handling publicity for an event. In this national summit I got the chance to meet with engineers all around Malaysia and of course site visits that gave me the idea of the current developments in Sarawak. It is indeed a good platform for all the young engineers gather together sharing their experiences.

#4 Joining the AAEC Conference organized by the Swinburne University as a volunteer.

Though it was a tiring section, I enjoyed it very much. Special thank goes to Dr Ling for giving me a chance to learn photography for an event. I have to admit that I'd not done a good job with the limited equipment that I had. Much more studies and learning and also investment in some equipments are needed for improvement. That will be my goal for next year, 2012.

#6 Family Trip to JB and Melacca for my younger sister's convocation.

Starting another chapter of my life.
Though there are lots of uncertainties together we can and gonna make it.

#8 Getting myself a new lappy ASUS N55S for the purpose of my studies. Let's make it happen in another 2 years time. May God preserve.

#9 Of course all the FOODS that I've enjoyed together with my friends and of course my loved housemates which leave me an extra inches on my waist??? I hope no... haha..

Flip Flops Festival in Damai Puri

Had a nice outing with my housemates back in July.

Ehem~ definitely Yun put on her sexy shorts, T-shirt and her lovely white pair of flip flops.. to enjoy the touch of sand and the breeze of beach..

Well~ though the theme for the outing is Flip Flop.. my 'kaki' went there just for the hot air balloon~ Cool isn't it.. LOL..

Conquering Mt Singai

All works and no play makes Jack a dull boy~

The same apply here, all works + study and no play makes Yun a dull dull emo gal ~

Yun remembered that prior to the trip Yun was actually preparing for a paper.. digging hard, learning hard, squeezing hard, forcing myself hard enough to get the little creatures running.. yet in the end.. Yun still fail to catch up with the dead line.. *sad case*

anyway~ all blames to herself for poor time management..

Here we go, for a day trip to Mt. Singai on the 1st Sept.. as it was holidays for Hari Raya Celebration.

So we plan it to suit all busy young working dudes' schedule. Hmm~ this year Yun escape all the celebrations~ back to the nature to nurture her soul a bit before she 'ki xiao'.. from the overbearing pressure..

There were all together 8 of us joining the hiking trip..

After all the ding ding dong dong... we arrived at Mt Singai around 8.30am.. so we started to hike at 8:45am after warming up ourselves. hmm~ kinda late.. coz it's a sunny day~~ *HOT!!!*

On the way to the Catholic church we passed through all these interesting cross.. well, some said, we ought to stop and pray before we proceeded to the next cross.. but Yun didn't~ Just continue on taking all the steep stairs tat really cause me to be out of breath! fuh~~

Upon reaching the Catholic church, there is a small 'canteen'?? Well, Yun not sure what it is called.. and it is the place where all the saints gather together to have their meals before continuing their worshipping activities.

On the way up to Mt Singai~ There are lots of interesting scenes.. one of them is this bamboo made resting place??? People may take a rest here.. well, some said they would wait for the durian to fall from the tree here..

Though it was a tiring trip Yun enjoyed it very much ~~

Kage Ala Carte Sushi Buffet

It was my younger sis convocation back in end of September 2011.

Attended the lengthy and tiring convocation for the whole day~ could you imagine..

Gosh~ I'm really exhausted!

Anyway~ Here we go ~

the next day to feed ourselves extremely well.. (of course count on dad) muahahaha..

Well~ it's an exemption day for her keep fit schedule as well.. :p

since she's getting such a flying colours result - we went to visit her favourite sushi buffet in Johor.. erm~ somewhere near Sutera Mall.

p.s. You can eat as much as you can without any hidden surcharge ~~

Those packaging are really great though the bread itself taste so so.. and of course with higher price due to its cute design.

I believe not only kids are lured to buy those kind of bread..

even Yun is lured to get herself 2 cute bun..

This is indeed a long overdue post..

Well~ It's never too late to pen down some memories~ as Yun always did.

This is Yun's 27th Birthday.. fall on the 3rd September 2011.

Previously, Yun celebrated it together with Yun's housemates and church buddies..

well, this year had turn out to be a little bit different.. hmmm~ Not going to mention the sad part.. but glad that there are still buddies around.. my beloved family members, housemates and of course with him..

Thanks to all Yun's friends for the wishes, celebrations, presents and of course lots hand make cakes and cards.. Yun love it very much.

今天的心情好像外面的天气。没有了云的温暖。

逼着让自己去微笑。让自己微笑着去面对该面对的一切。

但是我内心深处好无奈。

陷入这个情境的我该如何是好？

This year was exactly the same as the previous year~ Nothing special. Hmmm~~ but Yun got a call from someone~ ehem, that someone claimed wanna enjoy the same view of the moon but too bad~ the cloud was too thick.. :p Well~ I'm not that bad after all~ capturing the nice view that Yun enjoy and share with Yun's reader and oso to that someone.. LOL..

Although, Yun did not celebrate mooncake festival together with her family members.. Yun got lots of wishes and mooncakes from friends.. range from jelly mooncake, 'ice skin' mooncake, double yoke mooncake, pandan mooncake.. and 2 more to come flying from my hometown.. haha.. so happy~~ ^^ sorry all are and is going to be kept warm in my tummy~ :p

That's all for today~ gonna off soon and take a rest~ coz dear babe Yun is getting sore throat and watery nose..

This is really a nice song to be introduced to all my readers. I came across this song last night while I was driving back home. I could not get what's the meaning of the lyric until I googled it.. it is such a piece of art that touches me from within.

I wish to write this entry in Mandarin but too bad I got limitations in Mandarin words...

I'm so scared lately.. scare of my life, my decisions... I just do not have a reason not to scare.

I left office very early yesterday coz I could not sustain the overwhelming pressure and burden that are put on my shoulders.. I went back home.. locked myself in the room and cried my heart out. Just to release whatever that I had bottled up.

Well, I wish I don't have to think and care for anything but I just cannot do it because it's my choice and I do love people around me.

I wish I could perform well.. in my roles as a student, a friend, a daughter, a sister, a 'brother', a teacher, a colleague, a mate...... I could not deny that I will fail without the cares and encouragements from the people around me.

But what could I do and what have I done???

I had received a few mails lately that cause me to be weary and upset.. why don't the mails arrived few months earlier??? I know that I should be firm.. but who could resist such a good offer??? It's always be my dream to get an oversea scholarship and to pursue my dreams.

But this time I considered twice... and I still hold on the decision that I had made few months ago..

I do not know whether I will regret..

I know that in these few months whenever I face any obstacles I have - superior, mates, friends either by my side or far away... patiently guiding, leading and accompanying me through.. these blessings are much valuable that my dreams..

Riverside Majestic Hotel - Buffet

After 4 days of intensive training - both physically and mentally. Yun announced herself 'dead' with extremely bad mood.. getting frustrated easily.. sound like the symptoms for psm.. :p

Well~ life is not that bad after all (Yun's favourite quote)..

Btw, Yun was really looking forward to the last day of the 'show time'.. sorry to say that :p

After all those "show time" from all the 'big head'.. There is a good news for Yun.. hehe..

Yun get a good treat from Yun's 'boss'.. kikiki..

It's time for FOOD again~

This time, Yun will bring all Yun's reader to Riverside Majestic Buffet (First Floor) - Riverside Majestic Hotel. Again... Yun dunno the price of the buffet coz someone foot the bill..

Bella Italia

Getting sick of all the fast food outside? Having the same dishes or cuisine over and over again the past few months? Well, this is a place that you could drop by to have a change of taste.

This time Yun brought all her readers to Bella Italia at RH Plaza. Wondering where it is? It's located directly opposite Four Point Sheraton Hotel facing the roadside.

The owner of the shop is an Italian. Thus the interior design of the cafe do have a little bit of Italy taste. You could see the colours of the Italy flag (Green, White and Red) in case you don't know and all the nice paintings on the wall..

Btw, something caught Yun's attentions.. the Mr Potato's like man.. here we go Yun take a photo of it as a souvenir from the shop. Doesn't he look cute~ ^.<

Ok.. serious business here.. Here we go~ the menu. It is a simple menu. The only thing that Yun's wondering~~ why the owner used Bella as the name of the shop??? Bella from the Twilight???? lol...

While waiting for the food to come Yun snapping around for a few photos to share with her dearest readers.

This is Yun's cup of tea~ trying to cut down on the coffee so Yun turn to tea~~ sound healthier..

And these are few types of floats that Yun's kaki makan had ordered.

There are Banana floats; vanilla floats and chocolate floats.. Forgive Yun for forgotten about the price.. If not mistaken the floats are between RM 7-9 per cup kinda expensive if compared to the portion that was served.

Well, Yun's cup of tea was served with packs of sugar~~ No wonder Yun's very sweet.. :p Too bad din manage to use the sugar coz Yun drank her tea without sugar~

Here are the main dishes with all the difficult names;

This is called Risotto Polo.. served with mushrooms, chicken...

Not sure how it taste coz Yun din actually taste it. Claimed by the owner of the food is it great.

*Sorry Yun totally have no idea how much it costs*.. will update when Yun find out about it.

The Lagsana - Yun still haven't found one that could beat Yun's aunts' Lagsana.. I think she bakes the best Lagsana in Kuching. RM 14 ++ Rating 6/10.

The pizza - 100 times tastier than Pizza hut.. OpPsss...

Yun ordered herself some pasta Fusilli Alla Pollo which claimed to be the must tried dish. Well, too bad. Yun dunno how to enjoy it.. Yun dislike the taste of the pasta. RM 19 Rating 4/10.

and this is another type of Risotto which means Rice in Italian.. Again, Yun had no idea how it taste.

Fettuccine Alla Alfredo claimed by one of Yun's kaki makan to be the best.
RM 22.

Overall, Yun love the food at Bella Italia. Yun will definitely go back for her Pizzas. ^^

I wish I could be stronger

Smile seems to be a hard word for me now.

I could hardly smile.

I have always being optimistic..

wonder why the word "optimistic" leave me alone today.

The word that I used to encourage others - sound useless to me right now.

I am so tired.

Totally not in the mood..

Just like the ostrich who dig a hole and hiding and flooding the hole.

I could still sustain not until a friend of mine caring about me..

tears began to fill the frames of my eyes.

I wish I could hold it back. But it seems that I am holding it for too long.

I am not tat strong after all..
