Each Sabbat is based on the Earth’s tilt and correspondence to the sun, as well as the changing seasons and amount of light. At least half of the modern Church’s religious celebrations come from the old pagan festivals: Yule being Christmas, Ostara being Lent, Modron is recognised as the harvest festival, and Samhain being All Hallows Eve.

Most people will notice the moving of the Wiccan Wheel, even without realising it – taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of the first snowdrops or attending a May Pole Dance, and most commonly, celebrating Halloween. Others notice it by a tingling sensation and distant memories that are put down to an over active imagination, or a feeling of joy and excitement in their hearts as the subtle changes happen.

On these Sabbats, people come together to celebrate, share stories and perform rituals – many handfastings* happen at Beltane, as it is a time for making promises, and at Samhain, people say goodbye – not only to their own problems and bad habits, but to those who have passed on.

Sometimes the Wiccan Wheel is described as a passing day, with Yule being midnight, Ostara being sunrise, Litha being midday and Modron being sunset.

Unlike modern day calendars, the Wiccan Wheel is written as a circle – showing that everything is a continuation of birth, life, death and re-birth. There is no beginning, and there is no end – everything will happen its own time and place.

* The traditional pagan marriage for one year and a day; though now a handfasting can be done as a regular wedding and mean a lifelong commitment.

- Asanas (Sanskrit: असन) means "Sitting Down" and relates to the practice of sitting in a firm but relaxed position for lengths of time - the typical position used for this is the "Lotus" position. This aids in a person understanding themselves and their body, learning control and patience, and helps to focus and calm a person down.

- Mudras (Sanskrit: मुद्र) means "Mark" or "Gesture" and is a symbolic or ritualistic gesture made by the hands or the whole body. These positions or movements are used in dance and in yoga, and help to feel the energy flow and work with it. They can do anything from centering and balancing, to improving intuition and breaking through barriers. The symbols and movement for a language of there own - each gesture meaning one thing, but can be combined to mean something else.

- Bandhas (Sanskrit: बन्ध) means "Binding" and is a series of three body locks used in certain Yoga practices that alter the flow of subtle energies. The practise of these bandhas help improve concentration and overcome wandering thoughts, and correct the energy flow through out the body, helping to awaken Kundalini energy and balance the chakras.

Now that humans are in a place where they are remembering the old days, and finding ways to get back in touch with nature and with each other, Moldavite is resurfacing again, and in a big way.

This crystal is a form of tektite said to have extra-terrestrial origin. It formed when a meteorite crashed into earth and reacted with surrounding minerals, meaning that it is a fusion of extra-terrestrial energies with Mother Earth.

Moldavite has been used since Stone Age times as a talisman, and became an amulet of good fortune and fertility.

Many people believed that Moldavite was the Holy Grail, as early references stated the Grail fell from the heavens roughly where Moldavite was found alongside a meteorite.

Others believe that Moldavite was sent to Earth to aid in Earth’s transition and healing, and that the time has come again for Moldavite’s powers to be used wisely. It helps a person learn to detach from materialism, and teaches a person with empathy and compassion. Moldavite also teaches and guides a person to speak the truth at all times.

Moldavite brings you into communication with the Higher Self, and also with extra-terrestrial beings. It also allows easier communication with Ascended Masters and Cosmic Messengers. Holding a piece of Moldavite up to the light and gazing through it shifts the consciousness onto a higher plane.

It helps a person’s vibrations to reach much higher levels which is what helps with higher communication. As a result, it makes a person very lightheaded and detached from the physical world. Boji Stones help to ground a person, and clear Quartz helps to stabilize the effects of Moldavite.

For several years, Moldavite was thought to align with the Crown Chakra – which for quite some time was the highest to enlightenment a person could achieve – but now it has been discovered that there are five more chakras, and Moldavite works with the Stellar Gateway chakra. Having such a high vibration, Moldavite will also help to clear blockages and align every other chakra over time, ready for when the Stellar Gateway can be awakened.

This crystal transcends time, and assists in past life regression to re-learn lost wisdom and memories. Its main area though, is in the future. Through meditation and dreams, Moldavite will show a person their future (present life and future incarnations) so that a person will learn the wisdom of their current actions, and how they will affect their karmic cycle and future lives.

Moldavite is a crystal for sensitive people – particularly the new generation of Star Children – that find incarnation on Earth difficult due to the deep negative emotions and suffering. Many of these people have come to Earth to aid in her transition to a higher vibration. Placed on the heart, Moldavite soothes homesickness, particularly to people who are not originally from Earth.

Not much is known of these new charkas, as they were first
discovered in the 1980s and written about for the first time in 1990. Healers
and Teachers are themselves learning as much as possible about these chakras.
What is known so far, is that they are an old kind of personal and spiritual
empowerment that humans once had, but lost when humanity lost their connections
to nature and each other, and allowed their egos and greed to take their place.

Star Children are leading the way with these new chakras –
they brought them down to Earth when they were first born into humanity, and
now they are helping the rest of mankind understand them, and learn how to
awaken the system and heal each other and the earth:

Earth Star – Just below the feet.
Hara – In the Naval, next to the Solar Plexus.
Casual – Just behind the back of the head.
Soul Star – Six inches above the head.
Stellar Gateway – Twelve inches above the head.

Unlike the well known seven chakras that deal with the
person’s emotions and physical well-being individually, these new chakras
transcend physical emotion, and all work towards retrieving past memories and
lost information collectively with other humans when the time is right. Many
people have predicted that this is starting now, ready for the transition in
2012.

Earth Star

Colour(s) – Very dark colours and black. When this Chakras
has been awakened, its colour is Magenta.
Crystal(s) – Clear Quartz.

The Earth Star is always below the feet, spreading out in
a circular motion and connecting a person to Earth.

Awakening of this chakra begins the journey that connects
the physical self to the higher self, and the memories of passed lives. It
helps a person to remember who they were previously, and helps to connect with
the subtle energies of the earth.

Hara 

Colour(s) – Orange, Yellow.
Crystal(s) – Golden Tiger’s Eye, Carnelian.

This chakra is located just above the naval. Its
properties are very similar to the Solar Plexus chakra that it sits close to,
but on a higher level. Where the Solar Plexus chakra deals with physical and
menial emotions, Hara deals with the emotions on a karmic level – helping to
resolve any negative emotion that has come from passed lives, and at the same
time preventing further negative emotion to pass into future lives.

The Casual Chakra 

Colour(s) – Sky Blue, Pale Yellow.
Crystals(s) – Moonstone, Kyanite, Celestite.

Located several inches behind the Crown Chakra, the Casual
Chakra acts similar to an aerial, picking up guidance from the cosmos and
helping a person continue the work that they had started in a previous life.

The Soul Star 

Colour(s) – Peach Pink.
Crystal(s) – Selenite.

This chakra connects a person to the universe and provides
cosmic information back down to the awakened person so they can do what work is
needing to be done whilst inhabiting a physical form.

When a person dies, everything apart from the Soul Star
disappears, and the Soul Star returns to the heavens until called on again.
This process is what led to the ancient peoples believing that their souls were
actual stars, and that when their time came – they too would sit in the night
sky.

The Stellar Gateway 

Colour(s) – White Iridescent.
Crystal(s) – Moldavite.

At the current time, this is the highest chakra, and the
highest connection a person can have to creation and total understanding. The
position of this chakra can vary slightly, depending on each person.

When the Stellar Gateway is awakened, a person is
completely in tune with the world, and with other people. It is when the
Stellar Gateway opens that humankind, as a collective, will speak honestly and
heal the Earth and the Cosmos.

The awakening of this chakra only happens when humankind
is ready – it takes the power of many already enlightened beings to open the
Stellar Gateway.
