We had the first Bcharmed party at my sister's house! Kathy throws a wonderful Bcharmed party. Her husband Zach really is a great chef. He made all the food and it was delicious! My niece Brianna helped me set up and she was a great help!

Christmas Project for Mom

Roger had the great idea of making our Mom this journal inspiration jar. We decorated the jar with scrapbook supplies and put about 100 journaling prompts in the jar. She was thrilled to open this and a little teary eyed too! We had our Christmas with my family this past weekend!

What I've done on our spring break!

Well we've had fairly cold and rainy weather here, but we've been busy going to see some new movies,spring cleaning, playing, celebrating Alysa's 7th birthday and crafting. Alysa has been painting, gluing and glittering. Brenden has been gaming, watching March Madness and playing basketball when there is any glimpse of sunshine. I've been making my "SheArt" girls and wedding shower invitations! Check it out!

This is my first "She Art" creation after taking the best online class from Christy Tomlinson at Scarlet Lime. It is a mixed media art class that is full of fun ideas for making these gorgeous girls! If you have time, you really should take the class!

This little beauty is another "She Art" girl I made this week. I made this for Alysa and I tried to make it look like her! It says "Oh, the places you'll go!" I got the idea for this one from a fellow classmate in the "She Art" class!

This is the wedding shower invitaton that my sister and I have been working on this week for our cousin. It turned out so cute, we hope she likes it. The first photo is the front of the card and the gorgeous flower is actually a bracelet that my talented sister made this week! I hope she makes me one soon..ha ha hint hint! The second photo is a peek of the inside of the invitation.

How do you like my origami apron? I found the directions for the apron here. PTI continues to challenge us. I can honestly say it was a bit of a brain twister with all the folds! But I like it! I scanned the card since my camera was not available.

A fun color challenge over at Nichole Heady's blog for Papertrey Ink. A real challenge for me to use all the colors! I also tried using versamark on the kraft cardstock-always a challenge to get the stamps lined up ;0)

I've been on a card making frenzy with American Crafts miniMARKS. American Crafts Studio Blog is inspiring us to make cards using their miniMarks! It's been a lot of fun using the rub-ons for cards! Quick and easy! I've created a few cards out of my comfort zone and really exited how they turned out! I'd say there quite simple and beautiful! I love the color combinations!

This is my entry for the Moxie Fab World Christmas card contest! I love how he turned out. A fun and funky holiday card. I made the shaker box with a stamped sentiment, small stamped gingerbread and a gift...all shaken with glitter and seed beads! TFL! I used glimmermist on the entire card...difficult to see in the picture, but so beautiful in person!! I can't wait for the holidays!!!

I have recently discovered that one of my favorite magazines Scrapbook Trends has a blog. The publishers, Northridge Media, also publish other wonderful magazines like Cards, Bead Trends, etc. So guess what...they have blogs too!

I recently subscribed to their online subscriptions. I got the ALL ACCESS PASS...and LOVE it! They send an email when a new issue is available online. I've already seen the August Online Editions! The online editions allow you to electronically bookmark pages, highlight items and even write notes for future reference. Oh, and you can print them too, but since were all about being green these days...save the Earth! Check it out here!
