He built up a tremendous amount of goodwill and cool factor by beating cancer, winning several Tours, and launching his foundation. Most people commenting, including the clueless Bissinger, don’t know anything about the sport, doping, or Armstrong’s situation.

I make exceptions though if the document uses the same acronym often in headers and spelling them out every time seems like a bit much. Consistency in the document is most important.
