After all the rumors and requests Whatsapp has finally decided to add the calling feature to the app. The messaging app which is being used by billions of people all across the Globe will be launching the new update anytime soon now.

Not everyone has this new feature for now as Whatsapp's calling feature is still in its testing phase so you have to wait a bit to have the feature but at least you all know that the feature is coming for sure. Only few people have this new feature. The interface remains very simple it just adds a recent calls tab and a contacts tab to the app rest of the interface is same. The calling feature will help you call your friends individually. Whatsapp hasn't launched the feature officially but they are very close.

I hope you are all familiar with the bendgate because this topic has been trending everywhere on the web for the past few days. A few users reported that their iPhone 6 particularly the bigger 6 plus has said to be losing its shape. This gave rise to an huge controversy and finally Apple has spoken out on the issue. According to Apple there are only 9 cases of bendgate reported so far which is not a big number. Apple announced that it has received 10 million pre-orders already, so compared to that, the number of cases reported is very small. Apple also added:

Despite of the criticism received by the public the two new iPhones are doing incredibly well. According to Apple 10 millions iPhones are already been sold all around the Glob. Apple achieved this new record in just 3 days of time.

With 4 millions pre-orders received on the first day of launch Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are turning out to be hot cakes. The two iPhones went on sale this Friday and had a blistering weekend setting a new record for the company. Last year the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s managed to set a record of 9 million units sold in 3 days. Apple hasn't launched the two new beasts in China yet which has a very big market, so there will be more growth soon.

Apple also said that on 26 of September it will increase the availability to 20 more countries and by the end of the year 2014 Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available in more than 115 countries. An year ago Motorola announced the most customizable device of the year Moto X and now after one year Motorola has announced its successor the Moto X + 1 or the Moto X (2014). This year's Moto X is the most stunning and creative device. With 25 different color options along with four genuine leather options there are hundreds of possibilities to make your Moto X look unique. The curved metal frame looks just incredible with the colorful back panels.

This year's Moto X is built around on a 1080p 5.2" display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, that's a pixel density of 424ppi. The 5.2" HD display just looks stunning with awesome viewing angles. Everything you watch on the device just looks great and the AMOLED display on the Moto X is by far the best Motorola has ever produced. The camera offers HDR, Burst shot and panorama, but the surprise package is the 4K video recording. Moto X has very simple UI for the camera. The camera can also capture 2160p videos. I think the camera is pretty decent but I doubt if it can compete with the other devices like LG G3. The front face snapper also offers 1080p video recording which can be a very handy feature for the selfies.

The new Moto X also has the latest Android iteration 4.4.4 Kitkat and also has some of the exclusive Motorola features. This device has faster access to all the apps and the voice commands are also improved. Moto X (2014) runs on the same launcher which the Nexus 5 has. So you can also enjoy some Nexus experience with your updated Moto X. The device will be available for the grabs in United Kingdom, France, Mexico, United States and Germany in a couple of days. It will cost only $99.99 on a two year contract while the unlocked variant will cost you $499.99.

Both the devices are stunning and are made out of aluminium and are said to be way better than the predecessor. So Apple has finally announced two new iPhones, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. Both the iPhones have high end built quality and are made of very rich material. Anyways we are here to take a look at the bigger iPhone, the iPhone 6 Plus.

Motorola Moto 360

Finally Motorola has launched the much anticipated Moto 360 smartwatch. It was already unveiled by Motorola a long time ago but wasn't launched. Eventually we are watching its official launch at the IFA 2014. Looking at the device I must say its the most attractive smartwatch yet.

Nokia Launches Lumia 730 and 830 at the IFA 2014

First off Nokia announced a software update to all of its Windows phones and after that Nokia unleashed two of its new beasts the Nokia Lumia 730 and the Lumia 830. Both are great looking smartphones and according to Nokia the Lumia 830 is the first affordable flagship by the company. Lets take a individual look at both the smartphones.

Nokia Lumia 830:
Talking about the design the 830 has a 5" IPS display with aluminium frame wrapped around along with a polycarbonate back and a rich glassy front panel. The display has Nokia's ClearBlack technology which enhances the viewing angles of the device. The highlight of the device was its slimness and design, it is by far the slimmest phone by the company measuring only 8.5mm and it weighs only 150g. Moreover it has the slimmest OIS module built-in along with a 10MP PureView Carl Zeiss optics camera at the back.

As I already mentioned Nokia also announced a software update which is Lumia Denim 8.1. The Lumia 830 will have the update out of the box which would give neat experience to the user. Nokia Lumia 830 has a price tag of $430 and will hit the shelves in October.

Nokia Lumia 730 and 735:
Along with the affordable flagship Lumia 830 Nokia also launched the Lumia 730 and the 735. The main difference between the two models is that the Lumia 730 has dual-sim slots and the Lumia 735 offers 4G LTE connectivity, other specs are the same. Lumia 730 is actually a budget device specially made for taking selfies as it has a 5MP snapper on its face. The front facing camera has a wide angle 24mm lens, so the selfie game is going to get hot with this device. It also has a dedicated selfie app which works best with the 5MP camera of the Lumia 730.

Under the hood Lumia 730 features a 1.2Ghz Quad-core Processor along with a gig of RAM and Snapdragon 400 chipset. It packs a 6.7MP snapper located at the back which now offers better low light results. Lumia 730 has 720p 4.7" display which uses the ClearBlack technology for showing rich content quality. Nokia Lumia 730 has decent design with colorful back panels. It will be available as soon as next month. Lumia 730 will cost only €199 while the LTE variant 735 has a price tag of €219.

IFA 2014: Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Samsung unveiled two smartphones at the IFA event. One was the unusual Galaxy Edge with a two sided display and the other is Galaxy Note 4. Well we already know a lot about the design and specs of the Note 4 due to numerous leaks but let's see what it has got.

The successor of the Galaxy Note 3 has the same display size. Galaxy Note 4 is built around on a 5.7" display but this time around Samsung has boosted the pixel count by 80% as the Note 4's QHD resolution has a pixel density of 515ppi. Moreover the Super AMOLED display has curved sides and is covered by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3. With the curved edges the user experience becomes more smoother and swiping becomes easy. It has a faux leather back and a metal frame which makes the device very comfortable to hold.

Talking about the S Pen, is has also got new features to show. Samsung has enhanced the tip of the Stylus and it also has a better grip. Under the hood there is only 3GB of RAM, so the 4GB RAM rumors didn't pan out. Samsung will launch two versions of the device, one with the Snapdragon 805 Chipset and the other with Exynos 5433. Both the variants will be launched with 32 gigs of inbuilt storage along with SD card slot.

Galaxy Note 4 also has the fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor. The device will be running on the Android Kitkat 4.4 out of the box and would also have all the new touchwiz features. The camera sensor is also upgraded to 16MP and it also has OIS along with a bunch of other camera features like Dual Shot, HDR and 2160p video recording. At the front there is a 3.7MP camera which can be very handy in capturing selfies. It will be launched in 4 cool colors which include White, Black, Pink and Gold. After a few leaks Motorola Moto E has got its official announcement. In the press event in London and Delhi, Motorola officially announced the device. The highlight of the device is its extremely low price tag. It costs only $117 and is already available.

Motorola has used the qHD 4.3" display in the Moto E which has a pixel density of 256ppi and uses Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The internal specs include a dual core 1.2Ghz CPU, one gig of RAM and four gigs of internal storage (expandable via Micro SD card). The device is bundled with the latest Android iteration KitKat 4.4.2.

Moto E also has a 5MP shooter at its back. Connectivity options include the standard 3G network, Bluetooth and Wifi. Moreover there will also be a dual sim variant of the device. The device is elegantly built around on a 5" full HD display which has an awesome resolution of 1080 x 1920 (441ppi). The display uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for its protection. The device doesn't have a fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor like Samsung Galaxy S5. Anyways M8 will be available in three different colors at the time of launch. The colors include Glacial silver, gunmetal grey and amber gold.

4MP Ultra pixel camera and 5MP front facing camera

HTC One M8 has an Ultra pixel dual camera which has a pixel count of only 4MP which can't compete with the other flagship devices in my thinking. Its design has the edge but the camera doesn't look convincing and the strategy of using the same camera of last year's HTC One doesn't seems to be a good move. The dual camera also doesn’t have OIS but it uses HTC imagechip 2. However M8's camera allows you to add effects to your pictures like background blur re-focus and colorize. Moreover there is also a dual LED flash on the device.

This time around you can also activate the camera by pressing one of the volume key in landscape orientation while the phone is at sleep giving a fast access to the camera. Anyways if you are a selfie lover then this phone is the best choice as it packs a phenomenal 5MP front facing camera which is just perfect for the selfies.

Latest Snapdragon 801 SoC and Quad Core CPU

Unsurprisingly the M8 packs the latest Snapdragon 801 chipset thanks to the numerous numbers of leaks which left nothing to imagination. Anyways there is also a Quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz under the hood. So definitely the internal specifications are not disappointing at all. Packing a 2GB of RAM the device's performance is even faster and smoother. There are two storage options in the M8 16/32GB but the Micro SD card can add up to a humongous 128GB of storage to the device. Moreover HTC is also offering 50GB of Google drive storage for two years. So there is a lot of roam in the device to store.

Android KitKat and HTC Sense 6

Running on the Google's latest iteration M8 is one of the fastest devices around. Having Android Kitkat 4.4 out of the box is always a good feel. Moreover M8 also has the HTC's latest revamped UI with Sense 6. The updated UI brings subtle changes to the apps and colors. M8 also brings some new features like double tap on the screen wakes up the device like the Knock on feature of LG G2. The BlinkFeed is also updated by HTC now you can add custom topics to the service. HTC One M8 also has the Google Now notification panel on-board. Last year's HTC One attracted many users and became one of the greatest devices and I must say HTC hasn't disappointed its fans.

Sony Xperia M2 goes official

Sony Xperia M2 is the one of the three handsets Sony announced in the MWC. Sony Xperia M2 has ordinary specifications and is a mid-ranger having a compact 4.8" qHD display. The resolution is 540 x 960 which is pretty low as far as nowadays standards are concerned. An Adreno 305 GPU will enhance the graphics performance along with a gig of RAM.

An 8MP camera is located at the back of the device and Sony has used its Exmor RS sensor in the camera. The camera is capable of shooting 1080p videos and has an LED flash which can come handy is capturing low light images. On the connectivity side the device will be offering standard 3G network, NFC, GPS with GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0.

Sony Xperia M2 is bundled with the Android Jelly bean 4.3 but hopefully will get the Kitkat treatment soon after its launch although Sony hasn't promised such a thing. It will hit the shelves in April and will cost only 289 euros.

HTC launches Desire 816 and 610

At the MWC HTC unleashed two smartphone the Desire 816 and Desire 610. Both the smartphones look like mid-rangers and have a very compact design. Both these handsets have different screen size and are affordable alternatives to high end devices.

HTC Desire 816

HTC Desire 816 looks like the bigger brother of the HTC One as it has a strong resemblance with the last flagship device of HTC. The front looks the same but the back panel is a bit different. It is built around on a massive 5.5" display which has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Under the hood there is a Snapdragon 400 chipset along with a 1.6GHz Quad-core CPU. Moreover there is a 1.5GB of RAM and an Adreno 305 GPU inside.

There is an internal storage of only 8GB (expandable via Micro SD card). HTC Desire 816 has a 13MP primary camera and an impressive 5MP front facing camera. The device will be offering 4G LTE connectivity too. It will be available in Black, Orange, White, Mild Gree, Dark Blue and Grey Color. It will hit the shelves in April and will cost less than $300 in China.

HTC Desire 610

On the other hand the Desire 610 is a more compact device having a 4.7" qHD display. It also looks like the HTC One from the front. Anyways it is powered by a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a Quad-core 1.2GHz Processor and 1GB of RAM. It packs an 8MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front facing one.

HTC Desire 610 has an internal storage of 8GB which can be expanded through Micro SD card. It will boot with the Android Jelly Bean and also has support for 4G LTE connectivity. The device is expected to hit Europe in May.

Nokia unleashes its first family of Android Smartphones

So Eventually Nokia X got the official announcement along with the Nokia X+ and XL. We already know everything about the device thanks to the numerous leaks which left nothing to imagination. These three devices are the first Android-apps running smartphones produced by Nokia and come with Microsoft and Nokia apps Pre-loaded.

Nokia X and X+ has a 4" IPS LCD display and has a resolution of 400 x 800 pixels which makes a pixel density of 233ppi. Both the devices are powered by a 1GHz Dual-core processor and Snapdragon 8225 chipset. Nokia X has RAM storage of 512MB while Nokia X+ has 768MB of RAM. There is also 4GB of in-built storage in both devices which is expandable (via Micro SD cards). Nokia X and X+ have a 3MP fixed focus rear camera and a 1,500 mAh battery which can give a standby time of 17 days and Music playback of 26 hours.

Talking about the third member of the family Nokia XL has a bigger 5" IPS LCD display. The device is made up of plastic and has the same 1Ghz Dual-core processor and Snapdragon S4 chipset. There is a 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage along with a Micro SD card slot. There is a 5MP snapper at the back of Nokia XL with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera. These devices won't work with google services and there is no Play store but Android apps can be installed through Nokia store and Yandex store. These devices have the same Metro tile Windows 8 UI and you can customize the size of the tile too. Nokia is also giving away 1 month of free Skype Premium with each of three devices and 10GB of free Onedrive cloud service online storage. Nokia X will cost only €89 and X+ has a price of €99 but Nokia XL will cost only €109 and will be available in Q2.

Samsung announces Galaxy S5

Here we go Samsung Galaxy S5 is here. Look like Samsung has a lot of device on the way as it wasted no time in launching this year’s flagship device. Samsung galaxy S5 made the chief appearance at the MWC. Samsung Galaxy S5 brings a new design to the Galaxy S family.

Galaxy S5 features a leather like back panel which looks not so cool. Samsung galaxy S5 brings tons of new updates from the last flagship device. Galaxy S5 is built around on a 5.1" Super AMOLED 1080p display and uses Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It is stuffed with the latest Snapdragon 801 chipset and a 2GB of RAM. Most of the people expected 3GB of RAM but 2GB of RAM is enough with the four cores of Krait 400 processor clocked at 2.5GHz. The most notable improvement is the addition of the fingerprint sensor which is paypal certified. Moreover the device also features a heart rate monitor, first in a handset. Another big improvement is that the device is IP68 certified.

The 16MP shooter at the back looks incredible with 1080p UHD video recording. The same three buttons are located at the bottom but this time around the menu button is changed to app switcher. Unsurprisingly Samsung galaxy S5 is bundled with the latest Android KitKat 4.4. On the connectivity side there is 150Mbps LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 with LE and the standard 3G connectivity. Initially the device will be available in Black, White, Blue and Copper color but the US will get the only Black and White variant. Pricing information has yet to be revealed.

Sony Unveils Xperia Z2

Sony unleashed Xperia Z2 the much anticipated successor of last year's Xperia Z1. Sony announced the Xperia Z2 with a 5.2" 1080p IPS Triluminous display and Sony has used the same Bravia tech which it uses on its TVs.

The highlight of the device was its updated camera which will now record 4K videos at 30fps. The camera has the same 1/2.3" sensor and the 27mm G Lens but it comes with some new advanced features like Timeshift and Background defocus. It is stuffed with the latest Snapdragon 801 chipset and has a Krait 400 Quad-core 2.3GHz processor. Moreover it also has a whooping 3GB of RAM. The device is a bit taller than its predecessor and is a bit narrower. A 3,200 mAh battery will provide the power to the device. Xperia Z2 also comes with the IP58 certification so it can be used under water.

Sony Xperia Z2 will hit the market in March and will cost only €600. It will be available in three colors White, Black and Purple. Stay tuned for more news.

Barcelona has it all; the MWC is the most exciting tech event of the year. Anyways after a long time Sony has introduced the successor of the Xperia Tablet Z. Just like its predecessor the Xperia Z2 Tablet has the same dust, water and scratch proof glass.

Xperia Z2 Tablet has a massive 10.1" Full HD display with a resolution of 1900 x 1200 pixels. The display looks incredible as it has Sony's all the latest display technologies employed inside like X Reality Triluminos display with Live Color LED. Sony has used the Snapdragon 800 chipset inside the device along with a Quad-core Krait 400 processor clocked at 2.3Ghz. It also uses the Adreno 330 GPU and has a stunning 3GB of RAM which gives the device insane speed. There is a 16GB of in-built storage along with a Micro SD card slot in the Xperia Z2 Tablet. The device uses the same set of cameras. There is an 8.1MP rear cam with 1080p recording and HDR mode and 2MP front cam which can also record 1080p videos.

Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet will be booting with the latest Android KitKat 4.4. It will be available in two versions the Wi-Fi variant and the LTE-enabled one. Other connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with GLONASS. The slate will hit the shelves this March and will be available in Black and White colors. Pricing info is unknown yet.

Blackberry announces the Z3 and Q20

Blackberry unveiled a couple of devices at the MWC. The devices include the Z3 and Q20. John Chen the CEO of Blackberry said that the Z3 is the first handset to come with partnership with Foxconn.

There is nothing really incredible about the two devices except they will have a low price tag. The Z3 has a 5" full touch qHD display and has a dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU along with 1.5GB RAM and Snapdragon 400 SoC. The internal storage is said to be 8GB and Micro SD card slot availability is unknown. It features a 5MP shooter at the back and a 1.1MP at the front. The device will cost less than $200 off contract.

On the other hand the Q20 has the traditional Blackberry QWERTY keypad along with a 3.5" display and a trackpad and is said to provide the best email experience. According to Blackberry the device is made up of premium material and is said to be very durable. Regarding the Q20 John Chen also said that:

Moto G crowned as the most successful Motorola handset yet

At MWC the Senior Vice President of Motorola Rick Osterloh revealed that the Moto G is the best-selling smartphone of Motorola due to its incredibly low price tag.

He also added that when the acquisition of Motorola by Lenovo will be completed the profit will be increased but for now Moto G is doing incredibly great and it’s every unit is providing profit to the company. Moreover he also said that an updated version of Moto X is also on its way. For now Motorola will expand the availability of the Moto X further more.
