I just fall in love with the history of the place and finding new ways to use the decor each time I visit. The spirally staircase is so phenomenal, I write a love story in my head every time I climb it! Alicia and David somehow scored a wild sky full of dramatic clouds on their wedding day AND on the day of their Trash the Dress session (stay tuned for some of those images … they’re A-mazing, if I do say so myself! Hint: crashing waves, cold dramatic sky, sexy couple, and…. I just gave it away. Whoops!) Anyhow, Alicia and her maids got ready in Linden Place’s beautiful bedrooms, and after a quick pause for a photo opp, we headed over to Colt State Park for the ceremony. It was truly ethereal. Alicia and David had their own section of the park and the site was beautifully decorated in bright oranges and reds with teal accents. There was a soft breeze in the air and just a few leaves gently falling all around us as the processional began the ceremony. We took some photos around the park before heading back to Linden Place for the reception. The food was delicious and guests danced and enjoyed the grounds all night. If I had to sum it up, I would say the whole thing was very “Great Gatsby.” Just fabulous.

Wedding. Ever! Aren’t Anna and Mark adorable? His red pants, her red hair, the New England style Clambake? Perfection! Jamie did an awesome job of capturing this super fun and absolutely perfect day. We love when couples know how to let loose on their day and just…enjoy it! Anna and Mark did just that. There are so many unique things about this wedding, but I have to say my favorite part is that they cut a little wedding pie instead of the traditional wedding cake. Amazing!

Juliette was definitely one of those brides. She put so many vintage touches and scoured around etsy and the internet to try and make her and Doug’s wedding completely…them. Her flowers, that dress (!), and all the colors, the details – in love! Everything came together so beautifully and we were so happy that we could be there to capture it all for them! Congratulations Juliette + Doug!!!

Brian had already met Kendall, but he was meeting Jamie and I for the first time and he was just oozed this quiet sort of excitement. I even remember one of the first things he said…”I heard she looks really beautiful.” And boy, did she ever. :)

There’s something about High School sweethearts that make you root for them. I don’t know if it’s just the nostalgia of my own High School days, but there was something about Kristin & Brian that made you feel at home and comfortable. I think it’s the fact that they’ve been together for SO LONG and known each other since they were kids and their love just gives this presence of sureness. Either way, we ALL cried on their wedding day and I was so happy that they got their happy ending. <3

PS: All those Birch bark details? Yeah, Kristin did that. Super Bride!
