For enthusiasts worried that electrification could eventually transform the Porsche 911 into a battery-powered sports car, there is now a clear answer from the top.

Porsche CEO Michael Leiters has confirmed that the company has no plans to launch a fully electric version of its legendary rear-engined sports car. According to information shared by an attendee at a private preview event in New York, the Revuelto SV will be offered as a limited-production model. Production is reportedly set to be capped at 1,963 examples worldwide, a number that pays tribute to the year Lamborghini was founded.

As with previous Superveloce models, exclusivity is expected to play a major role in the car’s appeal, with demand likely to exceed the available build slots.

More Aggressive Styling

After unveiling the open-top version of its highly anticipated Z sports car at the end of April, BYD’s premium-focused Denza brand has now revealed the Coupe. The new images not only give us our best look yet at the fixed-roof model but also confirm the headline-grabbing performance figures that will be available across the Z range.

While the design is certainly eye-catching, the real story lies beneath the bodywork.

Triple-Motor Power Across the Range

According to newly released regulatory information, every Denza Z variant will feature a three-motor electric powertrain.

The entry-level models use a 268 hp (200 kW) electric motor driving the front axle, paired with two 215 hp (160 kW) motors at the rear. Combined output stands at 482 hp (360 kW), placing it within touching distance of rivals such as the MG Cyberster.

Those looking for supercar-level performance will be able to opt for a far more extreme setup. This version combines a 670 hp (500 kW) front motor with two 456 hp (340 kW) rear motors, delivering a staggering 1,582 hp (1,180 kW) in total.

That figure comfortably eclipses the output of the highly acclaimed Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, which develops 1,526 hp (1,138 kW).

Denza has yet to publish official acceleration figures, but the available top speed data already paints a very clear picture.

Both the standard Coupe and Convertible variants are expected to reach 300 km/h (186 mph), while the flagship high-performance Coupe raises the bar even further with a claimed maximum speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

If these figures translate into real-world performance, the Denza Z could become one of the most capable electric sports cars to emerge from China.

The next evolution of Porsche’s most hardcore naturally aspirated track weapon is edging closer to production. Fresh spy shots from the Nürburgring reveal the facelifted 992.2-generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS undergoing final development, with a public debut expected before the end of the year.

While some enthusiasts have begun speculating about forced induction, there is currently little evidence to suggest Porsche will abandon the GT3 RS formula that has made the model such a benchmark among track-focused sports cars.

Familiar Shape, Sharper Details

At first glance, distinguishing the updated GT3 RS from the outgoing model is no easy task. Porsche has built a reputation for evolving the 911 through subtle design changes rather than dramatic overhauls, and the latest GT3 RS follows that tradition.

A closer inspection reveals a number of key updates. The front bumper has been redesigned and now features a revised central section with vertical aero elements replacing the previous large central opening. Audi has revealed an all-new third-generation Q7, bringing a dramatic redesign, a more advanced platform and a new-generation diesel powertrain to its flagship family SUV.

It enters one of the most competitive SUV segments, taking aim at rivals such as the Volvo XC90 and Hyundai Santa Fe.

Built on Audi’s Premium Platform Combustion architecture, which also underpins the latest A5, A6 and Q5 models, the new Q7 introduces a more upright and practical design philosophy than its predecessor.

After being previewed in 2024, Boreham Motorworks has officially unveiled the production-ready Mk1 Escort RS Continuomod, a machine that blends the spirit of the original rally-bred icon with modern engineering and manufacturing techniques.

Unlike restored classics, this is an officially licensed Ford product built entirely from newly manufactured components. According to Boreham, it is the first all-new Ford Escort to be produced in half a century.

Limited to just 150 examples worldwide, the Continuomod aims to deliver the raw engagement of the original Escort RS while incorporating contemporary technology, improved reliability and significantly enhanced performance.

A Classic Escort Reimagined

The exterior takes inspiration from the late-1960s touring car era, complete with widened wheel arches and revised proportions. One of the key visual and engineering changes is a front axle positioned 30 mm further forward, improving both stability and aesthetics.

Underneath the retro bodywork lies a thoroughly modern chassis. The traditional front MacPherson strut and rear axle arrangement have been extensively re-engineered to deliver levels of grip and responsiveness never associated with a road-going Escort before.

At the rear, a bespoke floating axle setup uses a six-link arrangement with four radius arms inspired by modern rally engineering. Extensive use of aluminium and titanium has reduced unsprung mass by approximately 40 kg compared with historic competition Escorts.

R53 dampers handle suspension duties, while an automatic torque-biasing differential helps put power down efficiently.

For those who enjoy a more playful driving style, Boreham has also fitted a cable-operated handbrake specifically engineered to lock the rear wheels with ease.

The Continuomod will be offered with two distinct powertrains.

The entry-level option is a modern interpretation of Ford’s famous Twin Cam engine.

Power output stands at 182 hp (136 kW), sent exclusively to the rear wheels through a Ford Bullet straight-cut manual gearbox. The engine also revs beyond 8,000 rpm, staying faithful to the character of classic RS models.

TEN-K BD10-330

For enthusiasts seeking maximum excitement, Boreham offers the flagship 2.15-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder known as the TEN-K.

Displacing 2,152 cc, this engine revs all the way to 10,000 rpm and produces 335 hp (243 kW).

The powerplant employs a dry-sump lubrication system, individual throttle bodies and an ultra-lightweight design. Boreham claims the engine weighs just 85 kg thanks to components such as a billet crankshaft, forged connecting rods, a single-mass flywheel and an innovative 3D-printed engine block.

A carbon-fibre airbox completes the package, ensuring the soundtrack matches the impressive specifications.

Given the engineering involved, buyers selecting the TEN-K-powered version can expect pricing to rise well beyond the already substantial starting figure.

Limited To Just 150 Examples

Production will be capped at only 150 units, split between right-hand-drive and left-hand-drive markets.

Each vehicle will be sold globally and includes a two-year warranty covering up to 20,000 miles (32,187 km).

For collectors and driving enthusiasts alike, the Boreham Escort Mk1 RS Continuomod represents one of the most ambitious attempts yet to recreate a beloved classic while preserving everything that made it special in the first place.

BMW may be preparing to move on from the current G80-generation M3 after the 2027 model year, but the aftermarket scene is showing no signs of slowing down. Despite the platform having been around for several years, tuning companies continue to develop fresh upgrades for both the M3 Sedan and M3 Touring.

History has shown that performance enthusiasts continue modifying M cars long after production ends, and the G8X generation looks set to follow the same path.

RevoZport Unveils Its New Street Kit

The latest package comes courtesy of RevoZport, which has introduced what it calls the Street Kit for the BMW M3. Rather than completely transforming the car into something extreme, the package focuses on enhancing the factory design while maintaining the M3’s recognisable character.

The most noticeable change is the vented bonnet, which immediately gives the front end a more aggressive appearance. It is joined by a prominent front splitter, redesigned front fender trims, side skirts and replacement mirror caps.

The result is a more purposeful look without venturing into overly aggressive territory.

Carbon Details And Revised Aerodynamics

Moving to the rear, RevoZport has fitted a revised bumper skirt and diffuser arrangement that closely follows the original design but adds a sportier visual presence. A subtle ducktail spoiler rounds out the rear-end modifications.

The carbon-finished components contrast sharply against the vibrant red exterior, creating a motorsport-inspired aesthetic. The exposed carbon weave further emphasises the performance-focused nature of the package.

The tuner has also lowered the suspension, helping the car sit closer to the ground while filling the arches with a set of larger aftermarket Y-spoke alloy wheels finished in polished silver.

Darkened window tint completes the overall look and helps the M3 stand apart from the standard model.

No Changes Under The Bonnet

While the exterior receives extensive attention, there is no indication that RevoZport has altered the powertrain.

That means the familiar 3.0-litre TwinPower Turbo inline-six remains in place. In standard M3 form, it produces 473 hp (353 kW). The rear-wheel-drive M3 Competition increases output to 503 hp (375 kW), while the all-wheel-drive M3 Competition xDrive delivers 523 hp (390 kW).

Performance remains impressive across the range. The flagship M3 Competition xDrive can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds, making it four-tenths quicker than the rear-wheel-drive Competition and seven-tenths faster than the standard M3.

A Tasteful Evolution Of The M3 Formula

With many aftermarket companies choosing increasingly radical designs, RevoZport’s Street Kit takes a more measured approach. The upgrades sharpen the M3’s appearance without compromising the clean lines that have helped make the G80 one of BMW M’s most successful modern performance cars.

As the end of the current M3 generation approaches, packages like this demonstrate that enthusiasm for BMW’s iconic sports sedan remains as strong as ever.
