I had headphones on, listening to my SGR mp3 player, Session 14, oblivious to all else...

..."Excuse me!", I heard from beyond the glow of Bob Proctor's hypnotic wordplay. A gentleman was trying to get my attention. I had never seen him before. I removed my headphones and he asked me a question that I thought I would never hear. He asked, "I want that mp3 player, where can I get one?"

I explained that it was an mp3 player that was included in The SGR Program. I handed him a business card and asked him to visit the site for more information about the program.

At that point, I realized he was looking at the mp3 player as a desirable music player. He mentioned that he really liked the look of it, and even thought that SGR was a brand name. We had a laugh over it and went about our days.

I thought about that guy a lot afterwards, and I wondered if he went to the SGR site to check it out.

Then it hit me. The quality of goods in The SGR Program cannot be overlooked. Sure, it's the Mother of all home seminars. I understand that it could have been fingerpainted, and still be effective. But it wasn't fingerpainted. It was crafted with some fine materials. So not only are you gaining knowledge, you're looking good doing it!

Here are some pictures I took of my SGR Briefcase.

7 Step Process To Attract What You Want With A Yard Sale

The Science of Getting Rich really is an exact Science. How I acquired The SGR Program Briefcase is proof. The story you are about to hear is real. This does not mean that you will have the same results, but I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun doing it.

Having a Yard Sale or a Garage Sale is a great way to cleanse the palette of your life. This is a 7 Step process that will help you attract what you want while preparing and launching your Yard Sale. I will lay out the 7 Steps before elaborating throughout my story.

7 Step Process To Attract What You What With A Yard Sale

Plan Ahead (at least 1 month)

Take Inventory (Be Critical)

Research, Price Your Items

What Do You Want?

Donations and Giveaways

Advertise, Advertise, Advertise

Feel Passion At Every Step

After watching The Secret over 20 times in a week, I Googled Michael Beckwith. What I found changed my life. It was a link to The SGR Program. I had to have it. I visualized it every day. I craved the knowledge more than food. It was clear that some action was to take place to earn the funds to acquire the vision. A Yard Sale was the first thing that popped into my head. We had a lot of stuff to get rid of. So with the vision of what I wanted, and a plan of action, we dove in:

Plan Ahead. This is important for a successful Yard Sale. The earlier, the better. We started a month out. We could have used another week to tighten the screws. So be sure to give yourself the time to accomplish all that needs to be done. Make a list of things to do and ideas you may have. If you know what you want to acquire in return, you can start visualizing it while you plan. Bottom line, feel good and take your time.

Take Inventory (Be Critical). My Girlfriend and I are moving to Hawaii next year, so the more we can get rid of, the less we have to move. You might have a short list, or you might have a long list. Either way, make sure that you are not holding onto something that may be blocking your energy. Some things we keep because of the memory attached. Replace those memories with the feelings of having what you really want. Be critical, and keep visualizing.

Research, Price Your Items. Make sure you do not overprice or underprice your items. Do some research on eBay or Amazon for trends and pricing. Make sure to make the price visible on the item, unless you want the potential buyer to ask you about the item. Always be willing to deal but do not give away the farm. Be fair to the customer, and most importantly, be fair to yourself. While pricing your items, visualize what it is you truly want.

What Do You Want? By now, you should have an idea of what you want. You have taken inventory and priced your items, so you should have clear idea what can be achieved. Once you have what you want in your mind, hold it with faith throughout the rest of this process. You might want to verbalize it in gratitude. It never hurts.

Donations and Giveaways. Attract people by offering freebies. And, if you are into a particular charity, donate a percentage of your profits from the Yard Sale to it. We planned to donate 5% to the Humane Society. We rescued a beautiful Vizsla 4 years ago and we are passionate about animal rescue. Pick something that rings true to you. Once you do, get passionate about helping that cause, while visualizing what you want. This step will also bring a lot of buzz to your Yard Sale. We also baked muffins and offered fresh brewed coffee to the early birds. A local Pet Store heard about our Yard Sale and donated dog treats to our cause. What you give away, you get back.

Advertise, Advertise, Advertise. You cannot do this enough. Although, you do not want to spam or even come close to spamming. This can be accomplished by placing ads through multiple services, online and offline. Online, you will want to post a bulletin at MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Pownce (they have an event option), craigslist, and others. The more, the merrier. If you have a blog, blog about it. Get the word out every way you can. Offline, you can place an ad in the local paper, hand out fliers to your friends and family, pin them up at your local Starbucks or other coffee shops. Mention it with enthusiasm while out in the public. Attract people to it!

Feel Passion At Every Step. This is a step that powers the entire process. You should feel this passion at every step, while visualizing what you want. If you have the passion, you'll draw what you want to you. Carry the passion all the way through the Yard Sale. Treat every customer with love. Give them the impression of increase with every sale.

This process is a lot of fun. And you can really clean up your home in the process. But most importantly, you will get what you want, and feel great doing it.

We visualized The SGR Program Briefcase. We took action and felt passion at every step. After the Yard Sale, we crashed out and slept for a day it seemed. On the following Monday, we counted the money, pulled 5% out for The Humane Society, and then paid ourselves for the supplies, coffee, muffin mix, advertising and so on. My girlfriend went to the bank to make the deposit. When she returned, she asked me how much The SGR Briefcase costs with shipping. I browsed to the web page, clicked the Buy Now button and told her that it was $2024.97. She said, "You're kidding me!"

She handed me the deposit slip. I looked at it in complete awe. The amount at the bottom read, $2025.00.

Computer Repairs, Old Navy and Creating Blogs From The Formless Stuff

It's amazing how things can just start rolling in the right direction, and with little effort.

I have been pounding The SGR Program into my skull. I listen to it while I work the morning shifts at Old Navy. I am the janitor there, and you know, I don't mind saying that. It is the cleanest, gosh-darned, cotton-pickin' Old Navy I have ever seen. And it keeps getting cleaner. As I let The Science of Getting Rich seep into every cell in my body, I noticed a shift in how I viewed my job. I no longer think of it as an inconvenience. I actually have reversed the feelings by finding things I really like. The people are wonderful, I get a great workout, I'm home by 9:30 am. Pretty nice. I don't even remember the reasons for not liking it.

A buddy of mine, we'll call him Superman, had some computer issues at work, and being the nerd that I am, he called me. He and I did some time at Starbucks a while back. He's also into The Secret. His computer issues were an easy fix, for a geek. I was paid handsomely for doing something I love to do. But most importantly, I helped a friend. I think I'm starting to get this SGR thing. Superman has since called me over to his house to rebuild a computer. Life is grand.

I was at Keedy's with Superman the other day having breakfast. Keedy's is a local diner that has been recognized as a State of California Landmark. It is a local favorite in Palm Desert. We were discussing the internet and blogs and such. I was explaining what a blog is and what it's purpose is and so on. Although he had no clue what a blog was before breakfast, he seemed really enthusiastic and excited while I was telling him about it. Later that same day, he calls me up and says that he has started a blog. How awesome is that? You can see his new blog here. You will also see why I call him Superman.

Superman has inspired my girlfriend and I to start blogs on our favorite subjects. My girlfriend started a blog about experiences at our local Starbucks, called The Daily Buck. I started a blog the other day about Cassette Mix Tapes, called MixMaster Matt. For the first time in a long time, I feel as if creativity just flows through me with no effort, or should I say resistance.

Life is grand.

The SGR Briefcase Is Here! The SGR Briefcase Is Here!

Anyone who knows me, knows that when I get into something, I really take it on. When I was a picture framer, I was considered one of the best in Northern California. When I taught myself how to build a computer, I turned it into an artform. When I thought I was taking a backseat job by working at Starbucks, I end up moving up the ladder quicker than others.

Well, as you know, I just recently got into The Law of Attraction and The Secret. This knowledge has been so powerful to me and I really have just tapped into its power. It's presented a challenge to me, one that I feel will reveal my true self.

As I mentioned before, I had ordered The SGR Briefcase. It has since arrived. Saturday, October 6th, to be exact. FedEx Saturday delivery. Now that was pretty sweet, I must say.

It arrived in a box, seen to the left, that was a lot heavier and larger than I would have expected. I began to feel that this was going to be the most powerful thing I will ever encounter, this is the most powerful box on earth. And it was in my livingroom. I waited 4 hours to open the box. I had incentive though. My girlfriend was still at work when it arrived, so we waited.

Once opened, we could see that the quality of materials were so high, that you just felt the wealth oozing out of every pore of it's supple leather exterior. The printed materials seemed to glow from the warmth it's surroundings. And the little green book. Like an emerald, waiting to be discovered. I shall admit, that's where I started my journey.

After a week and a half of reading, listening to, living and breathing The Science of Getting Rich, I have discovered something that is so much more special to me than the top notch quality of physical materials here. The information in this seminar could have been finger painted on sandpaper and I would have read every scratchy page painted.

So, if I don't post for an extended period of time, just know that I am embedding this knowledge into the very fabric of my being. I promise, I will return to share my thoughts and feelings. Next time, I will share some of the things that led to me getting the briefcase. Until then.

Oh yeah, I am starting to add a gratitude statement to the end of my blog posts. Here goes.

I am grateful for all the knowledge and information provided by the SGR Affiliate Bootcamp.
Thanks Brian, Shazlans, Vinny and all the other affiliates for such an awesome community. A lot has been happening here and there is a lot to share.

First of all, tonight at 8pm EST, Brian Wong and The SGR Affiliate Bootcamp will be having a webinar. This one looks to be a good one. Brian is going to share some information about how to attract more people than we can handle. Sounds good to me.

You can follow Brian's webinar every Wednesday at 8pm EST. He has the best tools for taking The SGR Club to a new level.

Secondly, I have ordered The Briefcase! I will explain how in my next post soon.

In the meantime, check out the New SGR Club Page.

The SGR Club Is Introduced! OK, I got that out of the way. Now for some major stuff.

Bob Proctor introduced The SGR Club today at 4:00pm Pacific. For those of you in the know, that's really exciting news. And the cool thing is, the percentage of those who know, increases everyday. In fact, since the movie The Secret came out last year, the whole World is now buzzing from this not-so-new-but-new-to-us way of thinking, feeling and in turn, living.

For those of you who do not know what I am talking about here, then first off, see or read The Secret, and then we'll discuss The SGR Club at length. But, if you are down with The Secret, then The SGR Club would be the next step. It is a rather large step too. SGR stands for The Science of Getting Rich. I can't wait to get it myself.

That's right. I do not actually own this SGR Program yet. But, that is changing very soon. By October 10, and my birthday, I will be a proud owner of this briefcase.

You might be wondering how I am able to sell something that I have not personally seen. Well, I am still learning, but I can safely say that I am probably making it harder on myself by not actually owning the briefcase yet. But, my initial thought when signing up as a Premium Affiliate, was to sell it until I had the dough to buy it. I watched The Secret over and over again, trying to unleash some extra hidden gems that might have been overlooked. I was looking extra hard at things I already know, in hopes that I could find something that I could use to gain knowledge of something I did not have yet.

I then realized after several days of this, I might be working too hard on the "hows" and not enough about the "nows". I really have to thank Eckhart Tolle for this. In his book The Power of Now, he taught me to "watch the thinker". I watched myself long enough to realize that a shift needed to happen. It might have taken me a few days, but I did it.

After shifting into the right direction, I started attracting the things I needed. I met a guy by the name of Brian Wong. He has a website by the name of Brian Wong's SGR Affiliate Bootcamp. This website is the most thorough, precise, hands-on and team oriented training system I have seen for ANY affiliate business. It practically holds your hand and walks you through everything you need to do to be successful selling The SGR Program. I am studying that site from front to back. Good stuff, Brian.

I have gotten back into my art and photography and many other things that I am interested in. I have found some things that I enjoy doing, and I am going with my feelings. I like writing again, as you can see by the size of this post. I had gone back to the basics of what The Secret is about. It's not in what you are doing, it's how you are doing it. I am starting to do things differently. With more intention.

So, with this relaunching of The SGR Program, I feel hope and a real fire within. I feel closer to my dreams right now, than I ever have before.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://zero-limits.blogspot.com/2007/09/sgr-club-is-introduced-i-still-have.html' title='The SGR Club Is Introduced! Give It Room To Roll

When I started this blog, I was going to just lay down the results of my tests. As you can see, I have turned it into a book report of sorts.

That all changes today. We'll start with a "Clarity Through Contrast" test. Below is a table of contrasts. each thing on the left are things that I don't want in life. The right side has those same things, but spun into a positive. This test allows you to make new thoughts about your situation. Instead of dwelling on what you don't want, you think about what you DO want. As you write the thing you DO want on the right side, cross of the left side item that corresponds. This way, you never say the DON'T wants anymore. Here's my short example:

(Contrast) Things I DON'T want

(Clarity) Things I DO want

<s>I don't want to be broke</s>

<s>I don't want headaches</s>

<s>I don't like not having a car</s>

I want an abundance of cash

I want a pain free head and body

I want my dream car

Pretty easy, huh? Well, it's harder inside the mind than it looks on paper. But, when I crossed off the items on the left side, I felt as if I was saying goodbye to that negative thought forever. I know this is a short list, but I like doing things slow. My next experiment has to do with my "abundant-ness". What, you ask? It is a daily list of things that I have achieved or received. What we are looking for here is a progression from day to day. I started this on Thursday, Sept. 6. I will list my abundant-ness here:

09-06-07

Built an awesome looking blog.

Earned $20 from neighbor (computer help)

09-07-07

First post on blog, well written.

Met a guy on Pownce, he subscribed
to blog. First victim.

09-08-07

Writing is easier.

People at MySpace are commenting on blog.

Started a mini-blog on MySpace.

09-09-07

Uploaded a bunch of my photography on Zooomr.
Had a ton of fun doing it.

Within hours, I got noticed and met a guy who has a photo blog. He may want to include my work!

Started thinking about promoting my eBay
store better.

09-10-07

Earned $20 from neighbor (computer help, again)

eBay offers me a Premium store for 60 days. Really!

09-11-07

Wanted a good breakfast at McDonald's and got one!

Free refill at Starbucks. I actually visualized this happening on the way there.

Starting to get excited about opening a cafe Press store.

I know these results don't look amazing, yet. But to me, they are profound. And, really, that's all that matters. If you see and FEEL the results are good and positive, then they will be. The universe responds to the energy given off. Not by the size of the results. I know that if I continue to "roll" like this, I will get to my "dream" life.

More very soon.

Technorati Tags: The+Law+of+Attraction, The+Secret, Abundance, Clarity+Through+Contrast

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://zero-limits.blogspot.com/2007/09/abundance-is-like-snowball-give-it-room_12.html' title='Abundance Is Like A Snowball. Today, I will talk about the easiest book to read. And good thing. I was starting to think that these books would take so much time and energy, that I would have none left for the "game".

Law of Attraction by Michael J. Losier was picked up at 10:30am and finished by 2pm. I think my brain was hungry. Or, there was a motive to finish it quickly. As per Losier's request, the tools presented in this book are to be done at the conclusion of reading the entire book. So I basically tore through the book almost literally. Now that I have finished it, I will be documenting my "homework" here for all 2 of you watching...Um...I mean, I have more visitors to this blog than I can count.)

Law of Attraction is The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don't. In a very precise manner, Losier teaches the basics of The Law of Attraction. But Losier takes it a few steps further in that he offers techniques to use for even the most stubborn of minds (mine). These techniques involve rephrasing affirmations, so that you actually believe them. You see, a lot of people "go through the motions" while repeating their affirmations over and over, without the belief behind it. Things will not manifest for them, because the energy put out was negative. So, Losier has come up with a few tricks to "trick" the mind and to make phrases that do work. These cool tricks have actually worked for me and I will be demonstrating them soon.

Losier also talks about how there are only 2 ways your vibration can be. Positive or Negative. If you are thinking about something, and the feelings associated with that thought are negative, your vibration is in a negative state, and you will attract negative things. Even if the thought is good, but you just don't believe it. For example, try saying, "I am a money magnet", over and over again, but not believing it's true. Your disbelief is turned into a negative vibration, and you know what happens then. So, bottom line is, you really have to feel and believe the things you are saying, are real and tangible. If not, like James Ray in the movie The Secret says, "You're wish is my command."

This book is very straightforward and does not take a lot of effort to chew through. The lessons and "worksheets" are offered at Losier's website, which makes this a complete package. I have already downloaded and printed out the "worksheets" and I am ready to rumble. I have already filled out some of these sheets and i'll be posting real results soon.

Thanks to everyone reading this, all 2 of you...ok I'll stop saying that.

Technorati Tags: The+Law+of+Attraction, The+Secret, Michael+J.+Losier

<category scheme="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#" term="Michael J. My mind has a strong urge to bump me off the road and take over.
The reading I have done recently has given me a goal. But my mind is content with forgetting those books. The books in reference are ones you will now see in the right sidebar.

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

This is one of the best books I have ever read. At the same time, it was the hardest book I have ever read. I fought through every chapter, wondering if I was dreaming after each one. I saw things differently after the read. I'll dive into what made it hard for me to read, but first, a run down of the book.

In this "Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment", Eckhart Tolle teaches us that we are not our mind. Our mind is not supposed to be "chewing" on things of the past and/or future. He explains that we, as humans tend to let our minds run wild. And with the mind replaying past events in full detail for you, it is also defining you as a human. Tolle teaches throughout the book to gain control over the mind by "watching the thinker". The more you watch your mind, the less power it has. The mind hates Now. It will do anything it can to keep you locked on a past event and the feelings associated with them. If you were "In The Now", you would be able to shut down your mind, give it a rest and benefit from the freshness of every thought you would "need" to make.

There are many tools offered as to the Hows of Now. Some involve getting inside of your body, or using your pain as a way in. Tolle even mentions that women are more likely to experience "enlightenment", due to the fact that have a pain to focus on every month.

Overall, this book lays your belief system on the chopping block does not hesitate to lay down the law. Once it has you though, it takes you on a trip through all the possibilities of what it can be like, to be in the Now.

There were a few things that made this book really hard to read. The references to Now or Being was confusing at first. Some of the techniques used to getting into a Now state involve shutting your mind down. Well, when you read, you use your mind. So, I was constantly putting the book down and practicing what I had read. It was a up and down battle, but worth every day spent and page read.

I will talk about Law of Attraction by Michael J. Losier tomorrow.

More like a book review, but it's my blog...

Technorati Tags: The+Law+of+Attraction, The+Secret, Power+of+Now, Eckhart+Tolle

I Guess I Have To Do More Than Watch "The Secret" 20 Times

Bob Proctor never said it would happen from watching the movie. Nor did he say that grasping the concept of The Law of Attraction, would in turn enforce The Law upon you.

Darn.

Well, I guess the only thing to do is forcefully enforce The Law upon myself. It's time for this "fan" to become a "player" in this game. The walls that are my beliefs are coming down, as to let the things that I want, to flow freely to me.

Over the next 50 days or more, I will documenting my progress. I will also be sharing some of the things that brought me to where I am, as to contrast what will happen. I might share too much at times, but it's my blog and I can share if I want to. Speaking of sharing, any book, movie or media that I have absorbed or am absorbing will be documented here as well.
