I have been busy with work and getting home late and dawg tired. But I will get back to posting the men I hope you like as much as I do! On the personal front I'm doing good. I'm at a good place with my ex. The hurt has subsided a bit. I actually gave it one last hurrah by throwing a blackberry hostess fruit pie on his sparkling white polished car for his 50th birthday. Yes I know that was childish. It was childish but it was well deserved. I did it knowing this was the final interaction I would have with the putz. It felt good and it ended my anger, mourning,missing, and confusion phase. Basically it signaled I have moved on in some way. I now think of him without the anger and even tried remembering some of the sweet times to see if I can do it without feeling bad. It went okay I discovered. To move on I attended the red dress ball and had a fabulous time! I'm making friends and going out and doing things. I also realize that i have gotten back into the habit of dwelling in negative thinking. I'm working on getting out of that and if anyone reading this is doing the same. text-align: center;"> I'm thrilled that Washington is about to have legal gay marriages! I still think this could've been introduced a lot sooner, but glad it's at least happening. I'm also bittersweet about it. Hearing about it all over the news just basically ripped off any emotional bandages I had in place. Don use to call me "hubby" all the time. We had talked of marriage in passing when he bought commitment rings. But if it only became legal in Washington, cause this is where we wanted to be married. I really thought it would be decades before it would happen here, yet it's about to happen. I'm very happy it's happening, of having the option of marriage as a possibility in my life. Just sad that I was so very close to it and then to have my hopes dashed. So it's all bittersweet for me. I will deal with the sad feelings this has dug up and focus on the positive step that has taken place for the gay community. It's a great day really! Everyone do one good thing for yourself today and buy something at a Starbucks! They support gay marriage and some christian groups are now boycotting them. These Christians think they are the only ones with bucks, well we gays can go and buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks just as easily as these christians can buy it somewhere else! I'm getting me a Venti mocha at the Starbucks on 15th next to Smith. A treat for me and support for a supporter!
