My son is featured on this modeling agency website (Positive Image Mec, Inc. ) without my authorization, and without them paying for any stock/licensing/modeling fees. I’ve posted this photo here. Looks like they found the photo on Google, ignoring that the photo is copyrighted. What is worse, they lure people in with a photograph that is not even theirs, and my son is not a model at all. This is very serious and upsetting. I also discovered some very suspicious activities on my website lately. There were people able to download some photos with a url address that has been taken down for several weeks. These images are still stored in my host, but they are not visible on my website right now, because I want to organize my galleries and add watermark on all photos. I can only think that these people from a country in Asia have the link stored in their web history and somehow they came back for these photos. By the way, all images are re-sized for web, but this doesn’t stop people at all.

Some visitors with IP from a far away country looking for ”Flagstaff AZ boys” and “Flagstaff AZ Kids” (it could be even a local visitor using a ip mask) and this totally gave me the “creeps”. Seriously? WTH? Not sure what this visitor wants looking at the photos of my children for almost 10 minutes, but I am watching. It’s ok to come and visit, but when people look specifically for photos of “boys” or “kids” locally, it sounds strange.

English is not my mother language, but if I am looking for a photographer in Flagstaff, I will search for “Flagstaff photographer” and not specifically for “Flagstaff kids” or “Flagstaff boys”.

I took screenshots of the website in question so that I keep in my records, and you can see it as well. I am totally aware of activities on my websites specially because I post photos of my kids. Most of the time I don’t see anything suspicious. I also don’t bother when bloggers use my photos of flowers and other things crediting my name and website appropriately. There are moments that I feel like taking it all down since I am not in business at all, and I don’t do any marketing locally. I do love Photography and I like showing my work, but there are too much crazy and disrespectful people in every corner, and we never think shit will happen to us.

I will have to take this photoblog down for a big review soon.

It’s absurdly expensive to travel down there with the whole family! I found these images in my archives and I thought to share them with you. The friendly sagüi from the Sugar Loaf mountain eats whatever tourists will offer, which made me upset. Crackers, hamburgers leftovers and even soda. So very bad! The other photo below it’s a bit old. My oldest son was one year old when we visited the Northeast of Brazil. We hopped on the boat of a fisherman, and he took us for a ride in the swamps of Pernambuco. Seahorses were everywhere.

I wish I could travel often…
