So, I decided to fry the rempeyek with yellow split peas.
I am using ready to use rempeyek flour. I just need to add the following:
1 egg
220 ml water
3 tablespoons powdered coconut milk
1/2 cup finely chopped kafir lime leaves
2 cups yellow split peas (soak for 2 hours)

Mix all ingredients in a big bowl.

The king of the house baked this beautiful and delicious pineapple upside down cake to celebrate my birthday. He added some coconut flakes to the dark brown sugar and turned this cake into a super deliciously sweet cake. I love this cake so much and had a big slice.

I am using a ready to use alfredo sauce.
I added 2 cups uncooked shrimp.
Half teaspoon ground black pepper.
Half teaspoon dried parsley.
Half teaspoon dried thyme.
2 tablespoons cream cheese.

Firstly, boil water with some salt.
Cook pasta for about 10 minutes

I spent my time off at the doctor's office. It was not fun driving to her office in the cold and windy day. The leaves on the tree are turning orange and yellow and most of them are already on the ground. Anita always bought the macaroons from Laduree in London and they are sweet and delicious. This is a big challenge for me to bake my own macaroons.

1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar 
3 large egg whites 
3 tablespoons granulated sugar

We had bihun and lontong, etc.
Then we all do the prayer on eid eve.
We also had all kinds of cookies and drinks.
The grand finale was the fireworks.
Everyone had a good time and this was the end of Ramadan for 2011.

Nasi lemak is a rice cooked in coconut milk and ginger. The side dishes for today's nasi lemak are spicy anchovies sambal, spicy squid sambal, hard boiled eggs, fried peanuts, fried anchovies, fried chicken, cucumber,  and petai.

I am happy that this bahulu lapis (pineapple layer cake) turned out beautiful and delicious. My previous recipe for this cake is here.

The kebab came with roasted lamb, lettuce, tomato, pickled hot chili, dill cream, sweet and sour sauce. The kebab is wrapped in nan bread. Delicious!

My sister, Ida and I worked so hard picking the vegetables from David and Anita's greenhouse. 
David and Anita did a good job growing the vegetables and fruits. Anita said they are using their own compost and fertilizer. All their vegetables are organic.

The egg foo young was just an egg omelet with some bean sprouts, and brown gravy with some shrimp. It was  delicious with some white rice. No cooking at home today.

This version is simple. I fry chopped onion with 1 cup ground beef. Then I added 2 tablespoons Mrs. Dash dry herbs. 
Add 1 tablespoon ground white pepper,and salt.
Then add 1 cup shredded carrots.
Add washed rice.
Lastly, I added 1 can of coconut milk.
