Drawing an end to her stay in Berlin, Penelope Cruz was spotted arriving at the airport in Madrid, Spain on Wednesday (February 13).

The 33-year-old actress, who is coming off of the Berlinale Film Festival premiere of her new movie Elegy, is also prepping to film some steamy scenes with Scarlett Johnasson for Woody Allen’s latest project.

According to press reports, “The actresses will lock lips and get hot and heavy in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which also features Cruz’s boyfriend Javier Bardem. (In the film) Allen’s aiming for one of the most erotic scenes in movie history.”

A source told The Sun, “People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted photography dark room, and the whole scene will leave the audience gasping.”

With the unusual taste of being turned down still fresh on her mind, Paris Hilton was spotted out on Monday spending a few hours getting prettied up at the Kate Somerville salon in Los Angeles.

According to press reports, “At Sunday’s Sony BMG post-Grammy party, Hilton, 26, aggressively tried to hook up with John Mayer, 30, following him around and dancing, trying to get him to look at her.”

A source told the NY Post: “At one point, she sat at a table and tapped on the seat to motion him to sit next to her. John politely sat for less than a second before ignoring her and moving to chat with a group of friends.”

The ‘Girlfriend’ rocker filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office last December, the first step to launching her own cosmetic label.

Avril Lavigne applied for a patent for: “Fragrances and perfumery, aftershave, pre-shave, bath oil, bath soap, shower gel, body shampoo, deodorant for personal use, tissues impregnated with cosmetic lotions, bath crystals, bath milks, dusting powder, body lotion, body splash, body cream, hand lotion and talc.”

Avril Lavigne is the latest in a long line of celebrities to release their own fragrance. Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani and Kate Moss have successfully created their own scents. In 2006, celebrity fragrances were the fastest-growing segment of the $2.9 billion US perfume market.

Sales of Lopez’s fragrances Glow and Live Luxe made her $77 million in 2006, while Victoria and David Beckham’s his-and-hers ‘Intimately Beckham’ scents was a popular Christmas gift abroad.

The Angels landed in Arizona this weekend, as supermodels Selita Banks, Karolina Kurkova and Adriana Lima hosted the Victoria’s Secret Super Bowl VIP Salon in celebration of the 42nd annual Super Bowl on Saturday (February 2).

The lingerie giant is taking a particularly strong interest in this year’s big game, as they decided to run a commercial this year for the first time since 1999.

According to reports, Victoria’s Secret is “looking ahead to Valentine’s Day, when men are most likely to join the overwhelmingly female customer base in their stores.”

“This is probably the biggest co-viewed event of the year between men and women,” said Jill Beraud, chief marketing officer for Victoria’s Secret.

Model Adriana Lima stars in the spot, which will only be airing one time during the game, but will be on the Victoria’s Secret Web site following the game’s live broadcast.

Dozen police officers escorted Britney Spears To Hospital

Britney Spears was taken from her home by ambulance early Thursday and escorted to the hospital by more than a dozen police officers in cars, on motorcycles and in helicopters.

A Los Angeles police officer said Spears was being taken to the hospital to "get help." Unidentified authorities said Spears was being placed on a "mental evaluation hold."

There were reports that her psychiatrist felt Spears, who is followed night and day by paparazzi, was a danger to herself because of reckless driving and a recent deterioration in her behavior.

Spears was taken to UCLA Medical Center, where her mother, Lynne, was seen leaving its psychiatric hospital at about 5:30 a.m.

The source close to Spears said she went willingly to the hospital and is "comfortable" about receiving medical care.

"She'll be in there for at least 72 hours getting evaluated. She might even stay longer," the source claimed. "She's more comfortable this time. She came into the waiting area, had a cigarette, made a joke about being there again. But who knows what will happen. All we can hope for is that she gets better."

A plan was reportedly in place in the event Spears needed medical attention."Something like this has been in the works since the (last trip to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center). She has been seeing her psychiatrist every day," the source said. "No one thought this would happen this soon, but it was clear if she stayed up for more than three days she'd have to get sent for help, since that could cause real damage. The last time she slept was Saturday."
The source also said that the arrangement to get Spears help worked out just as planned.

The motorcade and everything was planned, it was already in the works to have them block off the road and airspace. It worked out perfectly.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo had a low-key (but big-haired) night out on the town in West Hollywood on Monday.

The singer and the football star, accompanied by four other friends, hit the Key Club for the hard-rocking Metal Skool Night. The pair were seated in the VIP section, protected by a bodyguard.

But they were sweetly affectionate, according to an observer, who said Romo wrapped his arm around Simpson and rested his head on her shoulder. She, in turn, playfully rubbed her forehead on his cheek. At one point, the pair also hopped onstage to rock out with the band.

Keira Knightley's relationship is reportedly on the rocks because she is refusing to wear an antique ring lover Rupert Friend bought for her. It is not an engagement ring but I think it was meant to be a sign of commitment. Obviously that is too much for Keira and does not want to get serious with Rupert because if she did she would wear the ring unless she does not like it then she should tell him to buy her another one.

But, as the face of Chanel, Keira has obviously been inundated with very expensive jewelery from its fine jewelery collection and has chosen to regularly wear one of its rings instead of the one bought for her by Rupert.

As a result, the word is that he's made his feelings made known to Keira.

Rupert and Keira - who are rumored to have been dating since December 2005 - are now said to be attempting to get their relationship back on track following the incident.

The source added to Britain's Daily Express newspaper: It seems these could be testing times for Keira and Rupert. They are both young actors with their careers still very much ahead of them so relationships are never going to be straightforward.

The Heroes babe is spokesperson for that campaign, which is calling on the United States to stand up for whales at the International Whaling Commission and take diplomatic and economic action against whaling countries.

Ashley Tisdale was definitely dressed to get attention on 2008 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Ashley wore a conservative-yet-sexy white dress with black woven accents and some peep toe shoes.

Kate Backinsale wore long yellow dress on the 2008 Screen Actors Guild Awards. She was definitely best dressed "action" mom on that event.

Rambo says: Live for nothing or die for something

With droopy eyes and a lazy drawl, he was a far cry from the conventional classic looking men Hollywood dished out by the dozen.

But as the boxing underdog Rocky Balboa in Rocky and a war veteran-turned-mercenary John Rambo in Rambo, Sylvester Stallone broke not only the norms of the industry, but also box-office records.

His real life rags-to-riches story, of determination and standing by his convictions in the face of adversity made him an instant hero, both on screen and off it. His well-toned physique and rippling muscles have been an inspiration for many and with a fan base spawning across generations, the Hollywood hunk is still a force to reckon with. And at 60-plus, as he reprises his role as John Rambo in the fourth installment of the Rambo series, Sly proves that for this action hero, it’s age no bar!

John Rambo is extremely easy to figure out. He’s not a complex guy. What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong for him. Bad should be punished and the weak should be protected,

he says of one of his favourite on screen characters that he’ll be seen playing.

However, not content with acting alone, Stallone has donned the mantle of the director for John Rambo. He says, “I really didn’t intend to direct, but after going through the entire Rocky Balboa experience, I realized that if this is going to be the last vehicle of this character, then I’d like to be involved in every aspect, because usually, when someone else does it, you have regrets. And I thought it would be interesting to have Rambo direct Rambo. Also I’d like to take the responsibility because if something does go wrong, I will have no regrets. I will say that well, I did the best I could and it's no one’s fault but mine. And if it works, then I’ll just take all the credit.”
Talking about his latest baby, Stallone confesses that shooting for it was ‘a gloriously brutal experience’. “It was harder than anything I’ve ever done before, but also more rewarding. We literally had to go through the jungle and be torn apart by nature, insects and snakes,” he laughs.

Action has always been the highlight of the bow-and-arrow wielding Rambo and this one’s no different. “The action in the film is what you can call blood and guts hand-made films,” he says. Stallone reveals that though today everything is more technical, he prefers to keep Rambo as basic, and as primitive and as real as it can get.

Admitting that he belongs to the old school of film making, he adds, “It’s kind of buying old furniture that’s really antique and well-made, the kinds they don’t do it anymore. I was talking to Arnold Schwarzenegger and saying that we’re kind of relics, like dinosaurs. What we used to do was use arm stuff.”

Hinting that it might be the last Rambo, the Hollywood star says, “I thought if I do the last Rambo, I wanted it to be about something. I didn’t want it to be about a cape or drugs or jewel heist. I really wanted it to be about humanity and asked around, called up magazines, the UNO and asked what is the most unreported, most graphic and devastating abusive human rights on the planet and they said Burma.”

Elaborating on the movie, Stallone adds, “The scope of the film is very big, because these are very small people in a vast hostile wasteland. And as Rambo says that really people are just savage when left on their own. And we see the savage world that he’s going to descend into. But in this journey into darkness there’s a sense of hope and spectacle. And when I say spectacle, I mean spectacle, when a man can rise above the sense of despair. And by saving her and the missionaries, Rambo’s also saving a part of himself.”

Last night Adnan was driving Britney's white Mercedes AMG 65, when they collided with a guy on a red Ducatti motorcycle. Britney Spears's reaction was priceless according to TMZ. But for me she looked very calm and her ex-boyfriend to as you can see on the picture. Britney even talk to other paparazzi while she sit in the car and mentioned some SMS message she received.

Britney should be very happy, because her paparazzi ex-boyfriend Adnan drove the car. She managed to avoid another big scandal that way, which will certainly break her nerves.

At the end everyone looked fine, except some minor damage (few thousand dollars) on Mercedes and motorcycle.

Heath Ledger found dead!

Ledger had an appointment for a massage at his apartment. The massage therapist and a housekeeper found his naked body at about 3.30 pm They tried to revive him, but he was already dead. Ledger was nominated for an Oscar for his performance as a gay cowboy in Brokeback Mountain .

During filming, he met Michelle Williams, who played his wife in the film. The two had a daughter, now two-year-old Matilda, and lived together in Brooklyn until they split up last year. Before settling down with Williams, Ledger had relationships with actresses Heather Graham and Naomi Watts.

Though his leading man looks propelled him to early stardom in films like 10 Things I Hate About You and A Knight’s Tale, his career took a notable turn toward dramatic and brooding roles with Monster’s Ball.

And in what may be his final finished performance, Ledger will be seen playing Joker in the upcoming Batman — The Dark Knight.

Update: Aussie actor Heath Ledger, who died at the age of 28 on Jan 22, may have been taking the ‘dangerous’ sleeping pills Stlinox.

Called Ambien in the US, the pill has been embroiled in a controversy in Australia where hundreds of people have reported bizarre and potentially dangerous reactions.

According to the AAP, around 500 people last year described that described strange behaviours that ranged from walking, crashing cars, having sex and falling from balconies after taking the pill, reports News.com.au.

In November 2007, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) was worried enough to reduce pack sizes and update its warnings on the drug.

The packets stated that the pill had "worrying and potentially dangerous adverse effects", the most serious of which included "rage reactions, worsened insomnia, confusion, agitation, hallucinations and other forms of unwanted behaviour".

A spokeswoman for Australian distributor of Stilnox, Sanofi-Aventis, refused to comment on speculation about the drug's involvement in the actor’s shock death.

"We're have absolutely no comment to make with regard to speculation that's being reported in the media," the AAP quoted the spokeswoman, as saying.
The Oscar nominated actor was declared dead after being found in his apartment in New York by a housekeeper.

Scarlett Johansson visits the troops in Camp Buehring in Kuwait

Actress Scarlett Johansson traveled to the Persian Gulf to entertain members of the US armed forces.

The Lost In Translation star toured the region for five days, during which she visited military installations, greet fans, sign autographs and meet the troops.

Johansson’s visit was part of the United Service Organizations Army Welfare Recreation entertainment tour. The 23-year-old says, "This USO tour to the Gulf region truly means a lot. I’ve wanted to go over and visit for some time, and now my moment has arrived.

It’s one thing to reply to a letter or extend your thanks to service members in a speech, but it’s another thing to visit them and spend time with those that do so much for us back home."

At one point, lank-haired Amy is warned to watch out for smashed glass on the floor as she scours a bedroom for her kitten barefoot.

The dazed and confused star accuses a guest of taking the pet from a quiet room into the drug-fulled hubbub of her house party.

Amy is locked in a nosedive towards oblivion — she is killing herself. The video shows a woman completely out of control.

Her family and her few real friends have begged her to pull herself from the brink many times. But here is proof she has pressed the self-destruct button.

Her fans would scarcely recognize the drug-addled wreck in the video as the talented performer they love.

We can only pray she will get a wake-up call when she watches the video herself and sees the terrible state she is in.

Britney Spears and Restraining Order for Paparazzi Adnan

Britney Spears's photographer boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, was surprised to learn of rumors that the pop star has requested a restraining order against him.

All I can say is that I have not been in contact with Britney since early Friday morning,

Ghalib says in a message posted on the Web site of his employer, FinalPixx.

The reason being, that I have has to attend a family funeral in Santa Barbara. My phone has been off during this time out of respect for my family. I am only now becoming aware of what is being said. I hope to be back home in Los Angeles soon and to be in contact with Miss Spears.

The news of a the supposed restraining order came from two paparazzi who were invited into Spears's home at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday, and spent several hours with the singer and her longtime friend Sam Lutfi.

According to one of the photographers, Lutfi said that they'd filed a request for a restraining order against Ghalib because they want him "out of Britney's life."

Britney asked us to leave the cameras in the car, and she poured some champagne for us. She was very sweet,

said one of the photographers.

Sam was telling us to not worry about Adnan because they have filed a restraining order against him.

The Los Angeles police department says they are "not aware" of any emergency protective orders issued against Ghalib. The L.A. Sheriff's department also says no order was issued.
