Scialle’s boutique business has been around for more than a decade, but it did not have a web presence. A freelancing graphic designer got me involved in this project as the developer for this project. This project had very tight budgetary constraints but we provided a solution that involved all of her requests: a portfolio, e-Commerce integration, and a Content Management System. We encountered many challenges implementing a site with beauty and elegance while having all the technical functionality running in the background, but the result is a website that we are proud of.

ReRack Cups

The founder of ReRack Cups came to me with an innovative product he had created: reusable beer pong cups. He needed a website that would provide information to potential customers as well as an e-commerce solution so that his product could be purchased online. I created the original website for ReRack Cups back in 2007 primarily using (X)HTML 1.0 and CSS which met all his immediate needs for the product. About a year later, it was decided that the site needed a new look that would focus more on the product and a friendlier interface for the user. I then collaborated with a graphic design friend of mine to create a new site design that had the desired feel of the new site.I developed the entire site using HTML, PHP, and Flash and contributed to the overall design of the website.

Badger Wrestling Club

The Badger Wrestling Club is a local sports club designed to enhance the level of wrestling in the local Madison, Wisconsin area. This non-profit was recently established when they came to me for a website development request. The BWC already had a graphic designer in-house so I was only required to implement the design that was already in place. The creation of the website primarily consisted of (X)HTML/CSS with a bit of PHP and e-Commerce integration to allow a portal for accepting funds. I saw this project through it’s initial implementation but it has since expanded to include enhanced functionality (I had parted ways due to graduating school, moving away, starting a new career, etc.).
