We had brunch last Saturday with some dear friends Colin, Julia and their beautiful girl Oriana. They own Red Bird Ink http://redbirdink.com/ a letterpress studio in Atlanta. They also make really great french toast!

Lately I have been loving the wintery landscape. There is such beauty found in the simple lines and negative spaces which only exist this time of year. Yes, I am extremely excited for the warm weather to arrive….but, it is nice to find contentment in our current place and time.

These are the first of many new images I’ve taken with my new beauty dish. This is my family at Burge Plantation, a hunting club in South Georgia. My brother is the one holding the pheasant. It was hard for him NOT to smile in the photo.
