Live Internet Marketing recently hosted a short presentation by <a href="http://www.sarmadi.com/"title="Rez Sarmadi's Blog" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.sarmadi.com');">Rez Sarmadi, one of their resident Marketing Gurus, and Co-Founder of Sarbro Solutions about methods of internal ranking that will greatly help your Google Rankings. I was very excited to hear Rez’s presentation, and it delivered well beyond expectation.

1) Begin Your Internal Link Strategy When You Design the Site - According to Rez, Internal linking doesn’t start once the site is created, but rather is a part of the actual site design. The best time to begin internal linking is during the planning stage of the website.

2) Outline Your Sitemap - and what pages you will be including on the site. Brainstorm and think of different pages on the site until you have every possible angle covered. Then begin building your sitemap.

3) Define the Description and Content of each Page on your sitemap. This gives your website focus, and will help any marketing campaign as well.

These processes will help you create a structured internal (and external link campaign, by having already thought of how all of the pages that you have / want will be included.

4) Have a Dynamic Navigation Bar - Your Home page should link to just the main pages on the site - the main pages, as well as the ones that are content rich. On your category pages, however, you should place links to all of your sub-pages. This will ensure that you aren’t linking out of your home page to too many pages.

5.) Create Two Sitemaps, One for the search engines, and One for visitors - Search engine sitemaps are typically XML files, with thousands of pages. While this is fine for the search engines, you want to have a sitemap for visitors also. This page should contain your most popular pages, as determined by your stats. It is Rez’s firm belief that Google actually looks at the pages with the most traffic, and gives them a bigger weight in the search engines. Therefore, you should place your highest traffic pages on the visitor sitemap - in addition to the main category / navigation of the site.

6.) Create a Glossary Page – The site should include a glossary page, with terms for everything that is relevant to the site. Be sure to link to this page as well, as it is high in content. The glossary page should be a static HTML page, not a popup. This way it is more search engine friendly. Also, link to it, as it’s a high content page.

7) Categorize the Glossary - this way you have more detail. Feel free to link to other sources, whether it’s to Wikipedia, images and more. This increases relevancy, and linking to external sites is not a bad thing, even if they are your competitors.

Create a Link Directory – It’s important to have a link directory. This allows you to have data and content on different genres, categories and keywords related to your site. Add interactivity through commenting and related data on the site (such as each sites page rank. )

9) Add Tags, and Tag clouds to Your Site. Don’t make it too prominent, as it could annoy visitors. If you can swing it, you can add it to your directory as well. This allows you to automatically

8.) Relevancy – Today the search engines are taking a large amount of the relevancy into account when indexing websites. Relevancy factors to consider include content, popularity and age.

9.) Link format – Home page links to the category pages, the main pages link to the detail pages. Add a description page that explains each product, another page that talks about the history of each product that is listed.

Specific Web Pages – These are internal linking techniques that can be applies to each specific product or service page on the site.

10.) Duplicate Content – Try to avoid duplicate content, but if duplicate content is necessary at least use the keywords that relate to that specific page. Avoid linking to old pages (stale content), the older URL’s are more valuable, but if it’s not updated don’t link there.

11.) Video for Specific Pages – Create a video tab for each of your specific pages. You can embed the video, or link to it directly.

12.) Links Page for Specific Pages - Have a page that links to other sites for each specific product page. Be careful to avoid over linking, however, as Google considers this spamming.

13.) Keyword clouds for the Specific Pages – Create a keyword cloud for each product page, but make sure it is out of the way and unobtrusive. Also, taking it a step further, turn the keywords that appear in the tag cloud into hyperlinks themselves.

Bonus Web Pages

– These are pages to add to take internal linking to the next level and get an edge over the competition

14.) Recent and Top Search Terms – Create a static page filled with the most recent and most popular search terms, and a small description for each term.

15.) Referrer page – Create a static page that lists the sites your visitors are coming from.

These tips can help maximize internal linking within a website. The most important time to begin internal linking is before the website even goes live; proper planning can create an environment great for SEO, and make navigation of your site easy and logical.

As the online marketing manager at SARBRO Solutions, I deal with some small business owners who advertise online. Often enough, they are in very competitive markets, where there are millions of searches a month, and the Cost per Click is between $2-$5. Similar to the <a href="http://www.sixthmanmarketing.com/search-rankings-are-dead-long-live-search-rankings"title="SEO Rankings are Dead" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.sixthmanmarketing.com');">“Rankings are Dead” argument Bruce Clay makes in regards to SEO, it’s not about the rankings, it’s about the conversions.
But it’s not only small business owners that have this misconception, CEO’s and others who are responsible for the budget, often have an ego issue, “why am I not number one on the Search Engines”? They will obsessively check their rankings to see if they are number one, convinced that their decrease in leads is due to not being in the first place on Google.
At one point, I was working at a company where we were spending a couple hundred thousand a month on Paid Search. At that point, while we were dominant on the search engines on paid search, our cost was consistently going up, and not only that, our biggest competitor consistently outranked us. The CEO was convinced that if we would be in position number one, we’d do much better. Of course, we adjusted our bid, raised it to $15/click, our budget burnt out by the end of the morning, and we spent an extra $10,000 on leads we could have gotten for cheaper.

Now maybe I live under a rock, and all of your clients are extremely web savvy, but I would guess that you hit this challenge with clients sometimes. So how can you convince your client that it just isn’t the best idea to spend $3 a click, when you can just as easily spend $1 and get (up to) 3 times the traffic?

So here are 7 suggestions to use when you talk to your client:

Trust/Reputation - As the “Expert” in this field, I care about your business, and I know that you are going to get more leads if you lower your bid. Aaron Wolski from Zip.ca adds a great twist to this. In his words; “They hired me for a reason and their interference will only hinder the results I can generate for them. I have an ego, yes, but more importantly I have a reputation to protect!”

“Test it My Way” - Test it my way for three weeks, and we can always change it back if it doesn’t work.

Tell The Story - Assuming that you’ve been in the industry long enough, you have some type of success (or failure story) that involves a similar scenario, where all you did is lower you bid.

Ask, Ask, Ask - Figure out what exactly is bothering the client. Most clients are just expressing their frustration by proposing answers. By identifying with their frustrations, you can move on to suggest the business realities, and what you are going to do.

Uhm, Give the Client what they Want??? - Sometimes, the client really is on an ego drive. Accepting that your’ clients “KPI” is being number one for a specific keyword, they will have to accept that they can only be in the top 10 for a specific amount of time each day.

Go Through the Numbers with Them- One of the most effective techniques I’ve used is to go through the numbers with them. Opening up the google adwords suggestion tool, showing them their account dashboard, the cost per click to be on page one. At this point, it’s a visual exercise, where they understand that if they bid lower, they can get more clicks.

It’s All About Quality - Dan Gajewski, an analytics expert, suggested an analogy to the retail sector, where manufacturer’s also pay for “visibility space”. Often times, it’s the new company with a product that people don’t really need are paying for the premium space. Why? Because they need to be on the top in order to get people to buy the product. In contrast, Mac and Cheese stays on the lower shelves, and still far outsells the product on the top - because people are looking for it. Similarly, in PPC, many of the people clicking on the top links aren’t necessarily going to buy.

In my experience, some industries get much higher conversion rates from the lower positions, while others get the highest conversion from the more premium positions, and obviously, the top positions get most of the clicks.

As one of the largest - and the most progressive social media site in the world, Facebook is a great mine of information. They have all of the data broken down and segregated. However, much of it is hidden behind the “facebook wall” - facebook doesn’t publicize all of their information. So here’s 3 interesting tools to use:

<a href="http://www.facebook.com/lexicon/"title="Facebook Lexicon" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.facebook.com');">Facebook Lexicon - Facebook Lexicon is an interesting service that analyzes the amount of times a keyword (Company, product, service) has been mentioned on Facebook. So for example, below is a faceoff of Mccain vs. Palin vs. Obama vs. Biden

http://www.flickr.com/photos/98665070@N00/2919365345/

Unfortunately, we can’t see all of the buzz after the Palin vs. Biden debate, but it’s interesting to see that the highlights of the two campaigns are Obama and Palin, while McCain consistently gets the lowest buzz!

Another example of market research that we can do with Facebook Lexicon:

These are interesting tools for anyone who wants to gauge effectiveness of any buzz campaigns.

Facebook Pages - Facebook Pages is a way to get people in a group around your business. Should you get more than 10 people in your group, you will be able to start getting “facebook insights”, which is the detail on demographics and more of the people on your site.

Taking Demographic Data from Facebook Ads - This sneaky little tactic involves setting up a facebook ad campaign - but just to see how many people there are in that demographic that are interested in a subject. So for example, you can search for how many 18-24 year olds have SEO or SEM in their profiles. You can see a more detailed look at that approach here: http://saunderslog.com/2007/11/25/facebook-market-research-secrets/

Many people want to just start their online marketing campaign - be it SEO, Paid search or Social Media Marketing, without doing any previous marketing analysis. However it’s much more important to have your business plan down pat when you are marketing online, over when you are doing offline marketing.

To give you an understanding why, I’ll give you 3 different “case studies” with a lawyer who is trying to grow their business. They are an experienced attorney.

Case #1: A client finds the lawyer in the yellow pates, and calls up. The lawyer schedules an appointment, and the lawyer impresses the client with his professionalism and experience. In short, at the end of the meeting, the person happily becomes a client.

Case #2: The attorney puts 4 outdoor billboards up, and gets clients calling in because they remember those signs, and the numbers. Same situation as before, the lawyer impresses the person with his professionalism, experience and “can-do” attitude. The client signs on to become a client.

Case #3: The lawyer has a website, and aggressively markets their site on the internet. Clients go to one of the search engines, looking for “<a href="http://www.exclusivelycriminaldefense.com/Results.html"title="Los Angeles Lawyer" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.exclusivelycriminaldefense.com');">Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorneys“. They find a page filed with 20 lawyers. So who do they pick?

(As an aside, while you think about the question above, I want to address something. It probably sounds like Online Marketing is alot harder than billboard advertising, yellow pages or even magazine advertising?

What <a href="http://www.aboutresultsmarketing.com"title="About Results Marketing - Los Angeles Marketing Firm" >ARM customers find is that although it take more work and more commitment to get the online marketing campaign going - the online marketing brings in a very measurable amount of business that makes the investment more than worth it. We are such believers in online marketing, that we view online marketing as an investment in your business. With paid search campaigns, you can start seeing leads flow in within a week or two!

The difference between the 3 cases is that in online marketing, the customer has seen your competitor’s ads as well. He’s being bombarded with answers. The only way you are going to get business is if you stand out from your competitors. There has to be something that makes you stand out. How experienced you are? Which cases you specialize in? Maybe which lawsuit you’ve won?

By doing the market research we talk about below, you will increase the amount of people calling from your website, or whatever else you’d like your website to do.

In a formal business plan, the market research is called the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threat Analysis). You can see more about SWOT here:

The Small Business Blog

Wikipedia

So here’s the four steps to do before you start your online marketing:

1. Identify your target market, product offer and do a little market research (competitive analysis)

Target Market - Many people like to identify the customer that they want to reach (e.g can afford my consulting fee!). The best way to do this is to start off in your customer’s head. Who is the customer that is desperately wants / loves what you have to offer?) This will make you think about what you offer and how you offer it (the next two parts of this exercise).

Product Offer- This is pretty simple. Basically, what are you offering to your customers. If you know who your customers are, you will be able to think about how you can make them ‘love’ your offer. In our business, it’s a guarantee of any sort.

Market Research - This is perhaps the simplest of this first step - and also the most beneficial. Go to the internet, and Google your service offering. Take a look at how your competitors are positioning themselves, and what they are offering. Compare this to what you’ve done so far, and you are in good shape!

If you’ve taken a piece of paper (or a word document) and put all of the information above down. You will now be able to look at your website, your blog, and your online ads, and improve them with the better message you’ve created. That is what we are going to do in steps two and three.
2. Assess and Improve your Lead Generation Funnel.

Marketing Funnel Credits to Madalin Matica

(A lead generation funnel is the process people go through to hit your website. For example, a visitor hits your adwords (Or Yahoo Search) ad. First Move!

They click on it (because you created kickass messaging in step 1!), and see your landing page. Second Move!

They like your offer, and decide to do what you tell them to. Katching!

Your Lead Generation Funnel consists of 3 parts.

Your original message (Adwords Ad, text the search engine displays on search results, a forum link, craigslist ad, or online video)

Landing Page

Call To Action

Without going into detail on each of the above, if you know who you are talking to, what they so desperately want, and why they should pick your product/service, you will be able to create a great lead generation funnel.

3. The third and final step is closing them as a customer! If you’ve got everything mentioned above, the sale should be an easy step! Good Luck!

———————————————————————————

Web Analytics is a critical tool to understanding your online business. Whether you are simply running a blog, trying to generate leads from your website, or doing ecommerce, web analytics tools are critical to your success. So what can web analytics do for you?

It can tell you what keywords the search engines find relevant to your website. This is a pretty basic way of using web analytics, and that is to see what keywords are driving traffic to your website. You can then decide whether to continue focusing on those topics that are driving traffic to your site, or you can decide to focus on other more relevant topics.

You can evaluate ROI (return on investment). This is a must have for anyone paying to drive traffic to their website. Whether you are using Google adwords, banner ads or any other method of paying for traffic, if you aren’t tracking what is working, then you will be spending money on marketing that isn’t helping you. As an aside, one of the biggest challenges is tracking offline leads (phone calls) back to keywords. A great service that has changed that (affordably) is Mongoose metrics. It’s highly recommended.)

Increase the usability of your site: While usability is a topic of it’s own in website design, it plays a critical role in online marketing. The better your website is designed, the easier time you will have getting visitors to do what you would like them to. Some of the ways you can web analytics to do that is to look at where people go to on your site. Additionally, you can use mouse tracking technologies like CrazyEgg, Clicktale, Robot Replay and Vistrac. These help you see where visitors go, and where they get stuck.

Web Analytics is a field of it’s own, with much more information than we can cover here. Here are a couple of sites with lists of blogs focusing on web analytics:

Avinash Kaushik’s Controversial top 10 list of web analytics blogs

FutureNow’s Grokdotcom list

Stephanie Hamel’s list - with it all put into a feed. Add it to your feed reader!

Being a musician - even an established label during the digital age can be a big challenge. When alot of music is being streamed online, or given away - or downloaded on torrents, you would think it’s even more challenging.

However, the opposite is true. There are many more ways to allow other people to listen and buy your music without having been already signed. You can sell your music digitally, and get up to 95% of what the revenue is. Your cost to create an album and distribute it is much lower. You can engage with users, and create fans without having an expensive PR team.
In short, it’s a great time. Although there is alot of opportunity, it can be overwhelming at times to create your online marketing strategy. So we’ve decided to give you one.

As you know, much of music discovery doesn’t happen by people actively “searching” for new artists on search engines directly. Instead, they often use a destination / music site, like Itunes, Yahoo Music, Ilike, Pandora or one of the many other sites.

Creating and marketing your myspace Bebo, Hi5 and other social networks that focus on music

Paid Search on similar artists

- driving traffic either to your website or myspace page

SEO

-As said above, it won’t be too easy to get traffic from people searching for “R&B”. There’s simply way too much music, and not enough people searching just for R&B. Most of them already have some idea of what they want. However, if you blog about artists that are similar style to your own, you could very well rank for people searching for them, and get some of them coming to your site.

3) Email marketing

Keep your fans up to date with where you are performing, by keeping them on the email list. This will constantly remind them of you as you move on.
4) SMS to music fans

Getting their cellphone number, and being able to be on their ringtone is always a great way to make them remember you. Remember, once you have their cellnumbers, you can text them updates about every single gig!

5) Distributing your music - This is probably the direct moneymaker. You goal is to get your music on all of the major music site, including Itunes, Amazon MP3, Napster and many more. You probably want to use a service like Tunecore or Catapult Distribution. In addition, we suggest trying to get your music on the free streaming sites like last.fm, Pandora,
6) Blog creation, optimization and distribution - This is a whole concept by itself, so I’ll have to leave it for a different time. But regardless, blogging is a phenomenal way to get fans.
7) Lifestreaming - A take off from blogging and into the world of social media, lifestreaming is a way of recording everywhere you are, and allowing fans to follow you wherever they are, be it on livejournal, in a forum or any other place that they hang out. We suggest creating an account at profilactic - that should cover most of your needs.

Here are a couple of blogs that focus on online marketing strategies for up and coming artists.

Do Competitive research (learn how many pages a site has, how many visitors a website has, and more)

The List of Essential Firefox Plugins:

Search Status - This plugin puts a little icon on the bottom of your browser that allows you to see the monthly visitors, how many are indexed by the different search engines, and a one-click link to the whois index. This is one of my most used plugins

Scribefire - Scribefire allows you to create your post in the browser, and just copy and paste text from other websites. This is an amazing tool for anyone that wants to speed up the blog writing process. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have all of the functionality that my wordpress browser has, so it doesn’t get used all that much.

PHP Proxy - Proxies are useful for hiding your IP address from websites you visit. There are 5 to 6 different Firefox addons that allow you to easily change the IP address on your site. I haven’t found one that I am truly happy with yet - but PHP Proxy is a good start. Here’s a list of Firefox Proxies.

WASP - Officially a “Web Analysts” firefox extentsion - this plugin lets you see what analytics tool each website is using, as well as what type of ad networks are on a site. It also allows you to scan different sites and pull out all of the information for each of those sites.

<a href="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5081"title="Twitterfox - Twitter for Firefox" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/addons.mozilla.org');">TwitterFox - Twitterfox is probably the most popular twitter addon for Firefox. It allows you to post to Twitter from Firefox directly… Enough said!

SEO for Firefox- This is a great tool, it allows you to look at the search engine results on a page, and see alot of information about each of the domains. Just be careful to browse with the tool off, it can easily get you banned from all of the search engines if you are running with it on all of the time.

SEOQuake - Similar to SEO for Firefox (but a bit more advanced), SEO Quake allows you to see alot of different information about the websites you are visiting, as well as download it all into a text file.

FireFTP - This tool has been a godsend. Instead of having to open up a new FTP program, I just open FireFTP in a new window and upload / download whatever I need. It’s been a having a little bug with a couple of my sites recently… but otherwise it’s a great tool.

Firebug - Firebug allows you to look at the code on any website, as well as play around with it to see the differences.

Here are a couple more people that have published their own Firefox Plugin List:

<a href="http://www.searchenginejournal.com/seo-firefox-plugins/6564/"title="Firefox SEO Plugins" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.searchenginejournal.com');">Ann Smarty’s Search Engine Journal Post (The 9 plugins she uses, and how often with screen captures)

As bloggers, we’re always trying to encourage our readers to post our blogs to one of the many social bookmarking services… be it digg, delicious, mixx, reddit, stumbleupon or one of the myriad others. There are many different wordpress plugins for different social sites. The problem is that your blog ends up cluttered with all of those buttons, and it really gets annoying.

The solution has been the plugins that allow you to post to any or many of the social networks. Here’s an overview of all of the ones that I’ve found (with some of my lovely comments to boot). One of the most popular players - <a href="http://mashable.com/2008/03/12/sharethis-series-b-funding/"title="Sharethis $15 Million Funding - Mashable" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/mashable.com');">sharethis, has received $15 million dollars in funding!

There are 4 different questions to ask yourself when you look at the different plugins:

How many social bookmarking sites are supported? Conventional wisdom would say that the more support you have for different sites, the better off you are. The only issue is that if you don’t have your blog setup right, you are just cluttering up the page, and people are probably less likely to bookmark the page anyway. Additionally, unless you have thousands of daily visitors, most people are not using the smaller sites, so you aren’t going to get much from them anyways.

For Me or for You - can I autopost the content to my own accounts? This is an interesting twist on the mass bookmarking concept, where you can post your new blog post to all of your different accounts simultaneously without having to log into each site seperately.

Does it Cost me anything? Most of the services below are free, but some of them do cost money. Given that there are alot of free services already available, I don’t know why someone should pay for any of the services any more? However, the paid services do come with extra features that make it worth it.

Am I Wasting My Time - How Many People Really Bookmarked my post? Between me and you, the best way to know whether you are interesting the readers who pass by your blog is to see how many of them bookmark, digg, plug etc. your site. Some of the new services add the ability to track how many people bookmark your site, which is really cool.

Browser Plugin or Website Addition? While the focus of this post is mostly on blog plugins for users (there are so many plugins for IE and firefox I’d die writing about it!), some of these services also have a useful plugin for your browser.

The 11 Social Bookmarking and Autposting Tools:

Sharethis.com - support for any website, as well as plugins for other sites too, like typepad etc. It’s a very clean and unobtrusive button at the bottom of your blog post that has a drop down button that allows your visitors to choose to post to one of 14 of the most popular social networking sites. They have some really amazing reporting going on, and also a browser button / chicklet. (I currently use this one.)

Addthis.com - According to compete they have the most users - with well over 500,000 monthly uniques! They have pretty much the same service as sharethis, but support more social networking sites. They also have stats reporting built in, but no browser plugin (and no $15 million dollar investment). Impressively enough, they are used by hundreds of news sites, including techcrunch and Time.com. My only problem with addthis is that the customization is a little on the technical side, and I have no interest in playing around with the code. On the other hand - it is pretty customizable.)

Addtoany.com - They have the most extensive list of social networks, and I also kind of like the easy way they have a down button that lets your visitors choose to add your post to over 65 sites! They also have deals with an impressive amount of large content creation companies, like pcworld and AOL. Unfortunately, they don’t have stats - which really sucks. Also, if you click the down button (that I truly love) and move off of it to scroll down the page, the drop down menu closes, which is really annoying.
These three are pretty much in the same category, with wide adoption, an unobtrusive nice button on the bottom of the page, and wide adoption. Of these, I’m going to use Sharethis, as it’s the easiest to use. Also, Ben over at Limadang.com likes sharethis with the fewer options, as he found that his readers were only posting to stumbleupon and digg anyways - and some of the addthis sites were producing errors. (I find that I get alot of posts to sphinn.com (surprise surprise). Here’s the compete traffic comparison for the above three sites:

Toprankblog’s Plugin - Beautifully simple plugin that makes it easy as heck to add a social bookmarking link to all of your blogposts, and the customization is extremely simple - you just choose your options, and the source code to your website or blog template. You can easily add or remove the sites you want to have displayed. Unfortunately, there is no website stats, and no browser plugin either.

SocialMarker.com - This is another cool multi bookmark tool which supports 46 of the top sites (like it really matters!) that’s both a browser as well as a site plugin, probably the simplest to use, unfortunately though, there is no stat tracking.

Sociable - One of the first and most popular social bookmarking plugin. I believe I used this for a while. This is a bit different than the others, as it has no drop down menu, just a number of cool icon links. (I like the defaut that has no dropdown menu.) example.

Cuzimatter - This script also has a bit of a following, although the layout of the page had me a bit confused. You need to put in your URL and Title, and then it will create the link for you. However, I don’t like all of the code, and no wordpress plugin. Call me non-techie!

Notable - Similar to sociable, it’s just a wordpress plugin, with no drop down menu, just the cool icons at the bottom.

Onlywire - This Autoposting Plugin Rocks! Seriously. I’ve been using this for ages. You can autopost to your own site through the browser or the blog / website plugin. It has an API for any of you techie people, and is really cool all-in-all. Unfortunately, I had to deactivate it as it has been getting a little quirky with my blog, but I do intend to figure out the problem and fix it, ASAP.

Social Bookmark Wordpress plugin - This is another bookmarking plugin for wordpress. I don’t like the fact that the icon is very simple - there is no color, and that would probably impact the amount of people actually using it. I think that needs to be changed in order for the plugin to be viable.

<a href="http://www.mass-automation.com/specials/idevaffiliate.php?id=583_8"rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.mass-automation.com');">Autosocialposter - Costs $197 . When I first looked at it, I was skeptical, why’s it worth $197 when I could just use Onlywire? However, looking closer, I’ve noticed that it randomizes the posting and keywords used, which is pretty cool. It makes it more natural, and less obvious that it’s all automated. In addition, Michelle Macphearson, creator of the plugim wordpress plugin, also uses it.

<a href="http://doj464.1authority.hop.clickbank.net"rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/doj464.1authority.hop.clickbank.net');">web2submitter - Costs $47. This has a cool twist to it. Instead of doing automated social bookmarking, it is a downloadable software that allows you to post more unique posts to all of the major social bookmarking sites, while making it very easy and simple to do so. I’m hijacking Jack and Brandons video, I hope they don’t mind <a href="http://doj464.1authority.hop.clickbank.net"rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/doj464.1authority.hop.clickbank.net');">Click Here to order

That pretty much covers all of the really useful multi-bookmarking and autoposting tools and plugins that are available.

It spread to personal multimedia on websites. It continued with Rovion… For $3,000 you could have a professional nudge on your site bugging all your repeat visitors (but it looks cool). Microsoft’s bought it, and servicemagic has as well. The problem is that it’s really expensive. But, we’re nice people, and we want small business owners to benefit as well.

Want to put video on your site? Here’s a couple of resources:

Yellowpages: Turnhere has partnered with Yellowpages to provide small business owners with a video profile. Their pricing is supposed to be below $1,000. Turnhere uses a network of indpendent videographers to do much of their work. However, if Yellowbook’s use of Turnhere is any indication, online video for local business has alot to learn.

I stand corrected by Morgan from Turnhere. Turnhere has nothing to do with Yellowbook’s platform. See Comments Below.

Many small business owners use it to “say stuff”. “Saying Stuff” doesn’t close sales, being passionate does though. What you should be doing is amplifying the the impact of your already meaningful message by using the video. Here are a couple of questions to ask yourself before the videographer hits you:

What are my best customers biggest problems? What do they want to hear?

What makes me unique- why would my customer want to use me?

Who is my target audience? (Age, How much money do they have? What do they watch? What type of language do they appreciate?)

<a href="http://www.wellcomemat.com/"title="local video for real estate professionals" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.wellcomemat.com');">WellcomeMatt: This site is aimed primarily at real estate professionals who want to showcase the houses they are selling. However, it has an open list of videographers that you can hire to do the videography for you. All in all a great site, that’s very targeted towards the real estate industry.

Two resources for any real estate professional:

webestate.us - an acquaintances website design service for people showing houses around

Professional Videographer - A very good videographer with a thorough background in online marketing, web design and more.

Talkmarket: This is really geared towards people that are marketing products, and encourages them to take videos of the product. This is a very unique service geared towards people selling products. The only charge is a 5% commission if someone buys through the video link. However, even if you aren’t going to do videos on their site, they have some great video resources for anyone doing their own video / video editing.

——————————————————————————————————–

About Results Marketing is a <a href="http://aboutresultsmarketing.com/marketing_blog/marketing-consulting-and-services/"title="Los Angeles Search Marketing Firm" >Los Angeles Internet Marketing Company, assisting both small business owners, as well as non-profits and large corporations with everything from paid search marketing to SEO to Business Strategy.
