Continuing my look into GodTube.com after yesterday’s article in USA Today. A religion site such as GodTube gives anyone with a thought to hide being the mask of religion to get their opinions into the norm.

This video is sick and disgusting. It compares the life of Virginia Tech Professor Liviu Librescu and his sacrifice during the VT massacre to Jesus Christ on the cross. Partial transcript of the video follows:

Under the rule of a wicked ruler name Ceausescu in Romania.
But even before then he walked the narrow winding path
Through humiliation, mental and physical torture
He wore the Jewish star that cast its sentence of death
….
Therefore it is fitting that we also remember another Jew
who faced many trials
under the rule of a wicked ruler name Pontius Pilate.

This is clearly a violation of the separation of church and state laws that govern our society. Sadly, the Christian right will pick up on this and scream about it not being right when in theory they’re doing the same exact thing.

That concept begat GodTube.com. The Christian video and social networking site — subtitled “Broadcast Him” — launched in August to offer an evangelical environment for videos on the Web.

Now, GodTube founder Chris Wyatt, a 38-year-old former TV producer, is making the Bible itself into a viral video experience.

So what can you find on this site… well it’s the same drum beat. We Christians are being discriminated against.
