			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As much as we love our canine companions, a dog that is incessantly barking or whining can sour the the best relationship between the dog, hie owner and the people that live in their vicinity. While it is normal for some barking, even in a well behaved dog, what do you do when your dog is overtly vocal?</p>
<p>1. Listen to the different &#8220;voices&#8221; of your dog. Your dog is not whining or barking for no reason. Has he spotted another animal? Did someone enter your backyard and your dog is defending his territory? Maybe he needs food or water?</p>
<p>2. Unlike barking, whining is a distinct sign of doggy distress and so you will be wise to clue in to the fact that something is bothering your canine. Many a dog was saved by an alert owner who came to find out what was wrong rather than closing a door, only to realize the dog got tangled up in mini blinds and was close to choking!</p>
<p>3. Dogs whine when they are feeling lonely. Dogs are very social animals, in their natural settings they live together in packs. If you have been gone all day your dog may be whining out of loneliness. Set aside the first 10 minutes when you get home from work to play and socialize with your dog and you will stop the whining in it&#8217;s track. It is also a stress relief for you to interact and love your dog after a stressful day at work.</p>
<p>4. having your dog locked out in the back yard is a surefire way to make him whine, and to make your neighbors hate you. Your dog wants to be with you and misses your companionship which is had inside the house. Your dog may be whining until you take him in whether that happens within the next 10 minutes or 10 hours. For the sake of your dog and your neighbors, leave your dog inside the house when you are away.</p>
<p>Attempting to discipline a distressed dog is rarely a good idea although a dog that incessantly whines even after all of its needs are met will benefit from a stern &#8220;no&#8221; that is immediately followed with eye contact and a turning over onto the back in a submissive position. Do not hit your dog or simply put it outside as this will not solve the problem but actually make the behavior a lot worse.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The majority of fitness enthusiast greatest accomplishments is achieving tight lower abs. It is a shame that 99 percent of those people never achieve this goal. Anyone with the right routine, diet and motivation can achieve this goal. Most people just need to let go of old routines, and follow the guidelines listed below.</p>
<p>Do not do abdominal exercises every day. If you are doing an abs routine everyday you either over training your abs of you are not working with the proper resistance. You need to train your abs as you would any other muscle. That is using extra resistance when executing the exercise. An example of this would be doing 12 crunches holding a weight above your head compared to doing 50 body weight crunches. You should not have to work your abs more than three times a week.</p>
<p>People tend to work with machines that isolate a certain muscles and stick with the same weight week after week. Using free weights and compounds movements (multiple muscles over multiple joints) are much more demanding and expend more calories. Cardio Training should be done in short intervals instead of long bouts. Doing intervals and compound exercises will increase your metabolism for up to 48 hours after you completed the workout.</p>
<p>Your diet must be calorie deficient over all with some days eating more and other eating less. This fools your body into thinking that it is eating more than it actual is, preventing your metabolism from slowing. Stay away from sugars and sweeteners. Try to eat fruits and vegetables with each meal along with good fats and good protein. Eat six small meals a day and drink 8 glasses of water. If you are not on a proper diet, not matter how defined your abs are they will never show through that layer of fat. Men need to get between 6 and 10 % body fat for their abs to show and women need to get to 12 to&#8217; % body fat.</p>
<p>Your workouts need to get progressively harder. Without progression you will plateau and stop seeing results. You can make your exercises harder by increasing the weight used, taking shorter rest. Keep a journal of your workouts. This way you can track your progress. You will then know if you are making progress. If you are getting stronger, faster and more flexible, your body will have no choice but to positively adapt to these changes.</p>
<p>You need to reduce your stress levels. Stress can cause your body to store fat among other negative side effects. Take a walk in nature or try meditation and to reduce stress levels. Also, spend time each day thinking of something that you are grateful for in your life. This will not only reduce stress, but can happier on a regular basis.</p>

<p>First part of the process is to get rid of the body fat that is covering up those abdominal muscles in the first place. You will need to change how you eat for your exercise for abs program to work out. Plus many of the exercises that you can do are going to only focus on one part of those muscles. But with core strengthening you can work all the muscles at one time. </p>

Add in some aerobic exercise to help burn that body fat away. It will help those muscles in your stomach to be uncovered and really show the success you&#8217;ve done in your program. </p>
<p>When you combine all the aspects of getting an exercise for abs program set up correctly you will see results. You won&#8217;t need to hurt yourself to get the results you want, only change a few things. Really work on those core strengthening programs and aerobics as well. But don&#8217;t leave out the nutrition part or you may be doing all the rest of it for fewer results to be noticed.</p>

At first the change of diet may seem a bit hard, but your stomach will shrink and get use to eating less at each sitting. Again, a low carb diet is not bad but its ability to burn off fat has been significantly and greatly exaggerated. Such bad info eventually leads people astray.</p>
<p>In short, a low carbohydrate is a weak diet plan that many people venture into due to false information that has been presented. Therein existed many problems associated with inaccurate info. Granted, the low can deliver some results and it is nowhere near as bad as some of the other crazy diets out there. Many magazine covers in the grocery stores profess the fact that you can lose weight eating desserts and other such items. This is just not true. Again, false info leads many people to believing they can burn fat when all they are doing is taking part in a fad diet plan. So, is there any alternative to such diet clutter and confusion? Yes, those interested in fat burning need to get to the very basic component of how to lose weight: you need to speed up your metabolism.</p>
<p>Lifting weights and performing cardio exercises are among the most reliable methods for boosting metabolism although it is true they have their limitations. Or, more accurately, human beings are subject to their own physical limitations. Cardio and weight training programs are known to present a strain to the body. The behavior is motivated by more than a mere need to urinate (and in some cases, defecate). It is a way to communicate territorial ownership. If it is only done outside, few owners would complain. The problem is that many dogs mark inside the home.</p>
<p>Below, we&#8217;ll explain why dogs mark and the function it serves. We&#8217;ll also explore why some do it within the home and how owners can effectively curb the behavior.</p>
<p>Part Of A Pack Mentality</p>
<p>As pack animals, canines are naturally driven to protect their territory. When they live together within their pack, their territory represents everything they need in order to perpetuate the clan. Specifically, that includes their mates and pups. Marking serves as a warning to others. It communicates to another animal that it has wandered into claimed territory. In effect, it is trespassing.</p>
<p>There are pheromones within a pooch&#8217;s urine that are instantly recognizable to other canines. When a trespasser detects those pheromones, there is little question that another dog has marked the area. That said, canines will also use feces, scratches on the ground, and other signs to mark the ground or an object.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll occasionally notice your pooch marking territory that you have witnessed another pet marking in the past. This is common. The second dog (in this case, your own) is trying to claim the area of the first. This often becomes an ongoing dispute until one or the other eventually concedes defeat.</p>
<p>Why It Happens Inside The Home</p>
<p>If your pooch is marking areas within your home, his motivation is often triggered by the same instincts that lead him to do it outside: protection of territory. He likely understands his place in the hierarchy under your leadership. However, he may be confused or uncertain regarding his place in the presence of a new baby, other pets, or even guests in your home. That is, his marking is a derivative of claiming his territory.</p>
<p>Treating The Cause And Symptoms</p>
<p>Curbing the behavior may be as simple as spaying or neutering your pooch. If he&#8217;s intact, there is a 50% chance that neutering will remove his motivation to mark an area &#8211; both outside and inside your home. If your canine is neutered and continues to mark, he may be concerned about the presence of unfamiliar dogs nearby. The most effective solution is to simply keep those canines away.</p>
<p>In rare cases, a pooch may mark an area within a home because he has an inflated perspective of his place in the household hierarchy. This behavior is usually accompanied by aggression toward his owner. In these type of circumstances, it is important to enroll the canine into a training program as soon as possible.</p>
<p>Marking is only a problem if your dog does it indoors. Whether due to stress, confusion, or aggression, understanding the behavior holds the key to curbing it.</p>
