The 60th birthday of the Festival of Britain 1951 begins 10 days from today! From 22nd April to 4th September the Festival of Britain 2011 will kick start and light up London's Southbank Centre . . .

And what a Festival it's set to be, with representative contributions across all cultural spectrum's Incl. a Heston Blumenthal reversion to traditional English teatime, a Stewart Lee curated weekend of comedy and music, as well our personal favourite 'Vintage at Southbank' (29th-31st July); a much anticipated follow up to 2010's Vintage at Goodwood - again organised and hosted by world famous designer Wayne Hemingway and his wife Geraldine. - we'll be there! Wayne Hemingway is the chief founder of 'hEMINGWAY dESIGN' - famous for other projects incl. the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Sculpture Re-mixed exhibit - hosted at the Tate.
