Guide to remove BIOS password of Acer computer (Both Laptop & Desktop).

BIOS password remove alternatives:

1. Reset Password BIOS via Backdoor BIOS Password.
2. Reset Password BIOS via Software.
3. Reset Password BIOS via hardware.
4. Reset Password BIOS via default manufacturers.

OK, here is my guide to Remove Acer Bios password computer via Software. This has been done on testing machine Laptop Acer Aspire 3620/ Travel Mate 2420. Anyway, I'm not sure it will work on every Acer PC/Laptop so just consider to do at your own risk, I’m not responsible for any damages caused by this guide.

As we know most of Acer computer (Laptop & Desktop) allow us to setup BIOS in Microsoft Windows (9x/XP/Vista) environment. Great, this is the powerful that help us to remove the BIOS password cuz all we know if we enter Setup Utility at the boot time we have only three times of filling the password and if all wrong then the system will halt.

The program helps us to enter Acer BIOS setup in Microsoft Windows is “Acer eSettings Management” which comes with the CD when we buy Acer PC/Laptop. If you lost the CD then just come to Acer website to download the program.

Before you can install “Acer eSettings Management” you have to install program called: “Acer Empowering Technology” so you’d better to download both of them from Acer website and install & restart your computer to be ready for the job. Here is the link of Acer website, just come there and sellect right series/model of your computer to download these programs:

Another one program is also very important we will need called: “CmosPwd” - CmosPwd is a cmos/bios password recovery tool. CmosPwd is under GNU Public License. You can freely distribute it. It can be compiled under Dos, Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and NetBSD.

Guide to install CmosPwd and remove password:

1. Download & extract to a folder. I put it in drive D like this: d:\ cmos
2. To work on cmos memory, ioperm need to be installed and running. ioperm gives direct port I/O access for specified ports to user-mode process (ring 3) using Ke386SetIoAccessMap and Ke386IoSetAccessProcess kernel functions.

Log on to Windows as Administrator priviledges and do as follow: (see picture):

a. Click Start-->Run: type CMD hit Enter on your keyboard.
b. now us the CD command of Dos to come to d:\cmos\windows. (here is: d: hit enter; cd cmos hit enter; cd windows hit enter).
c. when you are already in d:\cmos\windows in drive D then: type “ioperm.exe –i” hit enter.
d. to start ioperm service: type “net start ioperm” hit enter.
e. ok, type: “Cmospwd_win.exe /k” hit enter, we will see:

1 - Kill cmos
2 - Kill cmos (try to keep date and time)
0 - Abort
Choice :

Type 1 and hit Enter to clear cmos.

f. run the Acer eSettings Management program: start-->program-->Acer Empower Technology-->Acer eSettings Management.

g. now come to the: Bios Password to see: if you still see password enable, that means we fail but if we see they are Disable so we are done. Remember if we success remove password then we have to create a password for it and then remove it and click Apply to save to cmos memory. This is very important because sometimes we see it Disable but when reboot the computer they are Enable again cuz the password is still in the CMOS.

Although I remain skeptical that Windows 8 will be an immediate hit with the enterprise, there are some goodies coming in the new operating system that should appeal to the IT department. Here, I will outline eight such features and explain why I think they’re good for business.

Windows To Go

You might be sick of hearing about the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) movement, but it seems to be growing in popularity, with some pundits even going so far as to say that it could wipe out the need for an IT department. I am not one of those pundits. I believe that BYOD is too important to ignore, but believe that IT has a critical role to play, even in that movement.
Microsoft might be on to something here, though. With Windows To Go, a feature of the upcoming Windows 8 Enterprise, allows Windows 8 to be run from a USB stick on any Windows 7 or Windows 8 system. Now, organizations can provide those that need to use personal devices with a corporate Windows image in a way that’s accessible.
Perhaps the downside here is that Windows To Go is that it requires Software Assurance in order to obtain Windows To Go use rights to use it at work and on a home PC. Further, Microsoft is introducing a new “companion license,” employees can use Windows To Go on a personal device in the office.

Improved Task Manager

Not every improvement in Windows 8 is going to be immediately visible to the user. Some items will be behind the scenes, but will improve the overall support function. Once such tool is the lowly Task Manager, which hasn’t gotten a lot of love over the years. Sure, Microsoft added the new Resource Monitor tool, which is fantastic, but with Windows 8, Microsoft has given Task Manager itself a huge functional facelift, making it much more useful and adding Metro application information. My TechRepublic colleague, Rick Vanover, gave the new Task Manager a full walkthrough a few months ago, so I won’t repeat it all here, but have included a couple of updated screenshots below.

Secure Boot

Security is always a consideration in the enterprise. Windows 8 adds a new feature called Secure Boot, a feature which disallows the loading of unauthorized firmware, operating systems, and drivers at boot time. For x86 versions of Windows 8, Microsoft will require that vendors adding Secure Boot capabilities to their UEFI (as opposed to BIOS) systems also make provisions for users to be able to disable Secure Boot. For Windows RT (ARM)-based Windows 8, manufacturers will not be allowed to disable Secure Boot.

Hyper-V on the desktop

Although not revolutionary since hypervisors such as VMware Workstation and Virtual PC have been around for years, Microsoft’s decision to fully bake Hyper-V into the Windows 8 client could have enterprise benefits. Hyper-V is far more capable than type 2 hypervisors that were available before on the client side and may be a boon for developers that need to run multiple operating systems.
Hyper-V on a Windows 8 desktop requires systems with processors that support Second Level Address Translation (SLAT) and with enough resources to run multiple operating systems.

SMB 3

SMB 3 is another behind the scenes improvement. But, when fully implemented, it’s one that users will probably come to appreciate. SMB 3 brings to the table major performance and feature improvements. SMB 3 also boasts encryption in transit and other features, including a new feature known as SMB multichannel. This allows the system to use multiple network channels, increasing overall throughout and adding fault tolerance to the environment.

Improved multi monitor support

Although Microsoft estimates the percentage of Windows users with multiple monitor installations in the low double-digits, for those people (myself included), multiple monitor support has often been frustrating, requiring add-ons in order for things to work as expected. For example, in my three-monitor setup, the taskbar appears on only one monitor. While this isn’t a huge problem, it is a frustration. Windows 8 adds, for example, a multiple monitor taskbar and the ability to have different backgrounds on each display. While the background images won’t matter much, having the taskbar across all assets will make life a bit easier for the 13.48% of desktop-based power users that use two displays. My ZDnet colleague, Adrian Kingsley-Hughes, goes in depth into the new multi-monitor support in Windows 8.

Summary

I’ve been extremely concerned about some changes that Microsoft has made to Windows 8, namely the removal of the Start button and some window management challenges I see with Metro. However, as I start to use it more, I’m beginning to warm to it, but still believe that Microsoft needs to listen to their audience before the final product ships. That said, there are a number of business-friendly features that may be compelling for the enterprise user and administrator.

Once you get thinking about these things you realise there’s a few good options out there, but it’s still worth knowing which ones are the best and why. Here’s one of the best I’ve seen yet.
Android Lost (for Android 2.2+) is an extremely well thought-out application. If your phone is lost, this will do the trick for all of your security needs: you can locate the phone by GPS, wipe your phone, erase your SD card, forward your calls, start an alarm, lock your phone, lock your SIM card and more. Basically, you get all the possible tools available to find your phone, secure it from prying eyes or wipe all data altogether. Top that with the fact that you can install this application from the Android Market and use most features AFTER you’ve lost the phone, makes this a killer application.

Get Started

Install Android Lost from the Android Market and then you’ll be able to control it from the Android Lost website by logging in with your Google login. This is a neat way to ensure the right phone is being controlled remotely.

Register the phone by either starting the application on your phone or by sending an SMS with the message “androidlost register” to your phone. Once both of these steps are completed, you’ll see a “congratulations” message pop up on the website, letting you know you’re now remotely connected to your phone.

Shortened form of weblog. So as you may know, in English language, the word log talks about a piece of something and therefore, weblog means a piece of a web.

All blogs are websites but not all websites are blogs.

Another difference between a website and a weblog is that most weblogs has a niche. In blogging, a niche is simply an area of concentration. For example, some weblogs discuss dating, others business, others technology and so on.

WHAT DO I NEED TO START A BLOG?

Well we have seen what a blog actually means and the next thing is to prepare for the tax ahead and that entails knowing what and what you need to start your blogging carrier.

In an honest sense, starting a blog is not a big deal but the ‘big deal’ is maintaining your blog. So to start your very own blog you need the following:

2. Little computer and at times web design knowledge.

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) Keywords Boost Traffic

Today, we are looking at a very important subject when it comes to on page SEO - "latent semantic indexing" (LSI).

Writing article for an offline publication can be very easy especially when you are a "grammar giant" but when it comes to writing articles for publication on the internet, you will need to do more work. This is because of the fact that while you are writing these articles for human readers, you are also writing for search engine bots. You are doing this so that people can find your contents when they type some querries into the search box.
One way of "writing for search engines" is to use LSI keywords.

SO WHAT IS LSI?

LSI stands for Latent semantic indexing. LSI is simply a method used by search engines to calculate how similar or related the words in an article are to the keyword(s) or contexts of that article. In the study of English language, we may say Latent semantic indexing is same as synonyms (words that are similar in meaning) though this is not always true.
LSI simply suggests "word relationship."

HOW IS LSI RELATED TO SEO?

The two terms above are closely tired to each other. Almost all the modern search engines do not only consider your "quality keywords" as the only basis for ranking your contents, they also look at how related the other words in your contents are to the keywords. You know the aim of every search engine is to provide it "searchers" with the most relevant search results hence, search engine bots do read your contents before serving them to the public.

Well, the issue here is when humans are reading your articles, they can easily understand what you mean (when you use some words) based on other things they have read in the article but search engine crawlers may not understand the context of an article untill they find you repeating some related words. So for example, if you are writing an article on "processes in child birth" and decided to pick "labour" as the keyword you are optimizing that article for, constantly repeating that "labour" keyword may land you into trouble - "keyword stuffing" (though it is ok to repeat keywords to some extent). So you could play safe and outsmart your competitors by using LSI keywords (i.e, related keywords) instead of repeating the main keyword you are optimizing for - labour.
So in such an article, those "search engine animals" expect you to use LSI keywords like pregnancy, hospital, nurse, cesarean section, prescribe, etc.

Doing the above will make your article to be seen as more relevant than that of a person who kept repeating the labour keyword all in the name of "optimization."

You must also avoid using any word that is not related to the context of your article. For instance, in the article we are taking as a case study - the one on child birth, repeating statements like "Her husband is a politician and also a business associate of Felibrain limited yet, he has no much money to pay her hospital bills." may reduce the quality of your keyword - "labour" and susequently, the relevance of your article. This is so because while humans may understand your article very well, search engine bots may not. A repeatition or constant use of some words in the quoted line above may suggest the following to the search engines:

His/her articles is about The Nigerian labour party since politician was repeated

Advantages and Disadvantages of Windows 8 OS

Microsoft Released Windows 8 Developer Preview on September 2011, at that time I didn’t had enough time to try it.
After a period of About 5 months I finally tried Windows 8 Developer version in my Vaio, and decided to write an article about Windows 8 PROS and CONS.

PROS and CONS

Windows 8 is a new OS developed by microsoft and still haven’t yet released in the market, but it’s developer preview version has already been released. After trying that version I have marked out some Advantages and Disadvantages of Windows 8 Operating system.
This information is subject to change. I Had basically collect these information from the internet. I have no machines running windows 8 :P
Below are some of them:

PROS

Task manager is superb
Super Fast Bootup.
Clean and elegant look.
Rss App is Nice.
Metro UI is so awesome for touch enabled devices.
Compatible with old Windows 7 softwares.
HTML5 based apps mean easy virtualization over networks.
Simple Social Network and Syncing Integration.
Upcoming App Store will help bring more innovative apps to this platform.
Touch Friendly IE is fun to use. But no flash support for that! :/

CONS

Apps don’t really close in Metro UI, they are suspended after a certain interval of idleness.
Since the Apps are based on scripting languges, it consumes more resources.
Power user will miss the main menu.
Snapping is buggy
Metro UI is awesome for touch, and sometimes feels clumsy without it. The gestures are generally not intuitive using a mouse.

Hope You all get it wht all i am saying. Well We all are keen waiting for its official release Which would be in third quarter of 2012.

Once you may have desired to login to same website with two or many accounts. This time you want to do something nasty, or increase your productivity in a forum. Your basic techie mind will say to open the entire installed browsers and also enable private browsing for each of them.

For example, open Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet explorer all at once and login to the site with different user name from each browser. You’ll be able to use 3 usernames. Again open private browsing and login to the same site with another 3 new usernames. This time you’ll have 6 user logins in same site.

You might be quite familiar with the above trick but the main drawback is – you’ll lose your processing power since 3 browsers are working actively. And this might not be practical to you if you have low system specs.

But with some extension added to Firefox, you can do it all in one browser. Multifox is an extension that allows Firefox to connect to websites using different user names. Simultaneously! For example, if you have multiple Gmail accounts, you can open them all at the same time. Each Firefox window, managed by Multifox, accesses an account without interfering each other.

Let’s have a try to Multifox.

To install Multifox add-on in your Firefox, go to Multifox Homepage and click on Install Extension button. Be sure that you are browsing from Mozilla Firefox (not Firefox 4 Beta). Multifox is not supported in Firefox 4 Beta versions.

Install it as you do with other Firefox Extensions, for more clarification see the image steps below:

And Restart your Firefox.

Now you’ve successfully installed new extension to your Firefox.

Let’s play with it.

Go to File and click on New Identity Profile.

This will open a new window of Firefox Browser. Make note of that 2 at the most right corner of the address bar.

This says that it’s the second window. Opening the new tab or new window with Browser window 2, you’ll have the same session for all the new windows and tabs.

But in case you repeat the same process (Go to File and click on New Identity Profile), you’ll have another new session browser with 3 indicated in it.

In this way you can access unlimited number of accounts in same website with different username. For example, if you need to access 5 Gmail accounts you will need 5 windows with different identity profiles.

Firefox 9 Beta For Both Desktop & Android Released

Just after the official release of Firefox 8 now Mozilla has announced the availability of the beta channel version of Firefox 9 for both desktop and android. The beta channel release for desktop brings new features and enhancements for the end user and adds new developer features. Most notable is the Type Inference (TI) engine in Firefox's TraceMonkey JavaScript engine. This allows the engine to generate type information about scripts it is running, analysing the code and then reviewing the dynamic types as the scripts executes. The type information is then used during JIT compilation to generate more efficient code. As JavaScript is a dynamically typed language, the JIT compiler, not knowing the type of data, has had to generate slower code to allow for all possibilities. Type inference can determine, for example if only integers are needed in a loop and then generate machine code which uses only integers; this results 20 to 30 per cent faster JavaScript performance.
Camera support has also been enabled so that HTML5 developers can use it as an input device. The HTML5 Form Validation API automatically validates form fields with numbers, email addresses and URLs without developers needing to write their own code.
Other new features include Mac OS X Lion support which sees visual improvements as Firefox matches the the Mac OS X application toolbar and style; it supports two-finger swipe navigation gestures and is said to be easier to use on multiple monitors. Support for detecting Do Not Track in JavaScript has been added to allow web sites which cannot read the Do Not Track header to detect that the user wants to opt out of behavioural tracking.

NOW FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO SETUP THIS AMAZING PACKAGE

1. Download ISPCE from here

2. After downloading this amazing file run/open/launch it and it will extract itself into a default folder named LATEST BROWSING PACKAGE_BY_Dr. LARCO

NOTE:

It is a self extracting achieves and, therefore requires no additional software to extract. It also has customized stamp on it to the credit of the author.

3. inside the extracted folder you will see two separate folders-"ISPCE+MTN_Configuration" and "Proxifier+ISPCE_Configuration".

4. The folder "ISPCE+MTN_Configuration" contains the main tunneler software known as ISPCE (Don't ask us the full meaning!) and its configuration file for MTN.

5. Run the "ISPCE-2.2.101_setup" file to install, and copy the "MTN.cfg" file to your installation directory. Example( MyComputer=> Local Drive C=> Program files=> ISPCE)

6. Now, run/open the ISPCE program you installed, and on the main interface, click File=> Load Config File. Select MTN.cfg file from the directory window that comes up and click Load. Back to the main interface click File=> Save Default Setting to save the MTN configuration setting.

7. The folder Proxifier+ISPCE_Configuration contains Proxifier and its configuration for ISPCE.

8. Run the ProxifierSetup to install it, and get serial to activate it. Then, copy the configuration file for "ISPCE" to the installation directory to e.g (MyComputer=> Local Drive C=> Program files=> Proxifier) .

9. Now, run/open the Proxifier program you installed, and on the main interface, click File=> and also click Load Settings. Then, browse to your installation directory and Select ISPCE file and click Open to load the setting.

Note:

Proxifier serves to fire ISPCE for speed and stability. It also helps you to use all your applications without setting them to use proxy (i.e Direct connection).

10. Make sure both ISPCE and Proxifier are running concurrently.

Search Engine Optimization, or S.E.O., is an important, and in fact vital, part of any business’s online presence. Put simply, S.E.O. is the “tweaking” of a website so that it’ll be displayed right at the top of a search engine’s results pages (y’know, on that first page of results you get on Google, Yahoo! or Bing etc. when you key in a search phrase or words and hit “Search”). This optimization is an important aspect of any kind of search engine marketing that you do; the ultimate aim being to achieving the highest ranking possible for your targeted keywords and phrases.
Basically, it works like this: When an Internet user runs a search using a search engine they’ll more than likely only look over the first page of results laid out before them. Typically, they’ll then either follow a link they found on that first page or they’ll have another go and try another search. They’d only very, very rarely make it as far as the barren wastelands of Page 3. What this means is, if your website is not among the first listed in the search results, its chances of being found by potential customers are actually quite slim. Basically, there is little point in making a website submission to search engines if your site will never appear in the first few pages of results. Sorry.
By taking the time to think about the writing, formatting, and organization of your website and making the appropriate adjustments for S.E.O. purposes, your website will become more “digestible” by search engines and will be ranked more favorably in their databases. The result is, with a little work (and it isn’t that much work that you gotta do), your site will be able to climb from the depths of search engine results Hell (page 2,569), right to the top of the list (page 1, yeah!). This search engine placement will be highly beneficial for any entity seeking a truly strong presence online.
The truth of the matter is that the vast majority of websites on the Internet are not optimized with the search engines in mind. The result here is that your competitors who DO posses well optimized sites will dominate the web traffic generated through the search engines. By optimizing your own site, you and your company can leapfrog the competition and direct traffic away from competitors and toward your own site. After the site is optimized it actually takes very little maintenance to keep your company’s ranking and the effect of the optimization can be seen immediately and for years to come.
Now, whether you’ve hired an S.E.O. guru or decided to attempt the S.E.O. work yourself, one of the major challenges of a great search engine optimization campaign is determining how much time to devote to specific techniques and certain areas of your website. Simply knowing what to do doesn’t really solve the problem of understanding how much to do (it’s that old conundrum: how much is too much?). Whether it’s keyword research, website title optimization, content development or even link building, often the missing link is the art of knowing which of your efforts will yield the greatest return on your investment of money and/or time.
Most of VodaHost’s own optimization work (done from our VodaHits department; check it out: http://www.vodahits.com) is performed on client’s websites and in nearly every case we are working to try and achieve improved rankings and increased traffic within a budget and timeline. Our most typical scenario gives us 90 days to tackle the Search Engine Results Page (SERP) and analytics for a group of medium to moderately difficult search terms (from a competitive standpoint).
While every project is different, when you have to show some success in a relatively short period of time, it is important to quickly identify the major issues which are holding back your site. Page title optimization is always very high on the list but even with that said, when you are working on a site with hundreds or even thousands of pages, spreading yourself too thin by concentrating on only one ranking factor will usually fail. Unless you have an overwhelming number of site architecture or duplication issues, you are normally better off focusing on just a portion of the site.
Along the same line is the amount of time you spend on research compared to time devoted to actual change suggestions, on-page optimization tweaks or link building (for example). There are so many different ways to analyze a site or even one page on a site. There are also dozens of keyword research techniques and SEO tools, and you could spend countless hours dissecting the strategies that have seemingly worked on competitor sites. At some point you simply have to be comfortable knowing you’ve done enough due diligence to dive in and begin making changes that will have an impact.
Search engine optimization IS a science. It’s not like building a Large Hadron Collider but most S.E.O.s follow a set of tried and true practices that offer the greatest chance of success. What makes it not like building Large Hadron Colliders is that Search Engine Optimization is also an art and all the S.E.O. research in the world won’t do you a bit of good until you take that first step and actually begin making changes to your website. Every project and every website is different. This is what makes the process an adventure that is fun and exciting.
SEO copywriters have a pretty tough job but it’s certainly not impossible to write excellent and more importantly, optimized content for your website. With this in mind, I decided to write a basic set of rules for S.E.O. copywriters to follow; rules that anyone can reference to produce website content that both readers and search engines will enjoy. Let’s not mince words at this point … this is by no means a complete and exhaustive list; other copywriters might have other lists or other S.E.O. tips and tricks… It’s certainly not my intent to definitely “write the book” on optimized content. It’s just a list of a few methods that have enabled us to achieve the desired results for our clients in a variety of industries.
Rule 1: Google doesn’t appreciate Shakespeare – people do
Search engines are exceptional consumers of content. They read everything on the Internet they can get their crawlers around. They’ve read every book in every language – twice (as well as several million books more worth of blog posts). Thing is, they don’t really understand it… They couldn’t tell you if the text and websites they read are any good from a critical standpoint. Google can tell you what a sentence or paragraph or article is roughly about without knowing whether it’s prolific in a profound sense or a plentiful one.
For the most part, a search engine such as Google will assign value to content according to the behavior of human readers – not according to some arbitrary algorithm that projects an entry’s staying power. If people like it, Google likes it. So certainly do your SEO copywriting for people.
You can optimize and optimize and optimize, hoping Google will reward your efforts with premium rankings, but if human readers don’t enjoy it, then neither will Google. How does Google know if people like it? By following the links…
A popular saying in the S.E.O. community is that “Content is King.” Um, yeah, but it’s really not that simple. Try searching for a classic book, like Bram Stokers ‘Dracula’. What ranks No. 1? The actual text of the book? A scholarly critique? An original book review? Nope. Nope. And nope! It’s a Wikipedia entry. Why? Because Wikipedia has about a billion and one links pointed at its site. Is this a good thing for search engine users? Probably not. Is it good for the tens of thousands of book reports written by students who never read Mr. Stoker’s book? Certainly not.
I introduce this fact not to discourage anyone or to underscore Wikipedia’s considerable advantage. This extreme example is introduced to emphasize the fact Google rewards links, not great content.
How is this valuable to you? In most cases, you won’t be competing with Wikipedia but with rival companies, organizations, groups and other bloggers. So just get more links than them. It’s that simple. How do you do that? Write more engaging content than them.
But isn’t that contradictory? Didn’t you just say content is worthless? No, SEO copywriting is DEFINITELY in. What I said was to get more links. And you get links by writing better content.
Rule 2: Always write engaging content
At its very best, the Internet is a democracy and everyone connected to it has a vote. Those copywriters who compose the posts that receive the most links (or “votes” to Google) win not elections but great and powerful search engine rankings. Your best S.E.O. copy-writing strategy is to reach out to “voters” by writing content they will link to. You must write content people within your niche will blog about, share on Facebook or Tweet about. You must write content that gets people talking about your products, your services and your company.
Don’t be frightened to take a unique stance on a familiar topic to stir up a bit of controversy. Nobody ever really stood out by being the 700th person to agree with something. The people who generate buzz about the Internet are those provocative rogues who are brave enough to support a daring, perhaps even unpopular, position. Fresh will always win the fight. New angles are always the best, even if they’re seemingly ludicrous, because they’ll bring in the links.
For instance, say Galileo had a blog way back when (now there’s a thought!) and he wrote an incredibly controversial post about the world being round – not flat. People would think he was absolutely crazy. They’d bash him in the comments section. He’d be the laughing stock of every astronomy forum but I’m willing to bet that people would link to him. And I bet his blog would rank No. 1 for “The World is Round.” And I bet a whole lot of people would be searching for that once they realized that he was probably right.
So, WRITE ENGAGING CONTENT! Establish yourself as an authority on a subject or introduce a fresh argument.
Rule 3: That’s already been written about 75 million times, but THAT hasn’t…
Everything (okay 99.9% of stuff) has been written about before at least once. The Internet is very much like The Simpsons where everything has been done before and yet there are still infinite questions left unanswered and there are countless arguments that haven’t been made. There are countless viewpoints that haven’t been introduced yet… As an S.E.O copywriter, it’s your job to find them.
You can get started by identifying the hot topics and trends in your industry – then take an angle on them that nobody else has really considered.
In addition to spotting these Internet trends, perform some critical analysis yourself. Do your due diligence. Search Google for specific industry-related questions. Which ones have no adequate answers? What information might prospective clients or customers want that’s so far been inaccessible to them? Don’t know what information they want and can’t find? Then ask them.
Then, once you’ve identified a fresh topic, write the optimized content for it.
Rule 4: My keyword density formula is WAY better than your keyword density formula
The question here is: What is optimized content? Is it content that follows an exact keyword density formula (so-many instances of a “keyword” per total number of words)? Should you incorporate keywords into every singe sentence? Every paragraph? I heard you’re supposed to infuse one keyword into every seventh sentence – is that even true?
Not really, no … It’s nonsense.
My own thoughts on keyword density are as follows: forget keywords and write naturally (as I emphasized in Rule 1). If your content is about a topic you hope to rank for, odds are you’ll use these keywords or phrases quite naturally. Injecting keywords where they don’t belong will only produce choppy and spammy content that neither Google nor your audience will appreciate. It’s a waste of time.
Furthermore, when it’s clear what your content is about, your readers will unwittingly know what keywords you want them to put in their anchor text links. If The Incredible Car Blog writes a blog about what cars will be like in 2020, odds are those linking to the post will put some variation of “2020 Cars” in the anchor text. And one link like that from a really reputable site is worth more than 1,000 instances of “2020 Cars” included in your original post.
So write honestly and eloquently, be informative and entertaining. One of the best ways to do that is to write something you’d want to read yourself. Don’t worry about optimization when you’re writing. Once you’ve completed the most engaging content in the world, that’s when you go back and optimize it.
Rule 5: The brutally honest secret to optimized content
How do I optimize content? Well, I’d love to tell you how.
There is a huge S.E.O. Myth: Optimized content is merely content with keywords included.
If writing optimized content was simply the process of stuffing a bunch of keywords between other words, you wouldn’t need writers. You could take existing content and scatter a bunch of keywords around. You might find this on a car dealership’s website:
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was a great time to buy New Chevrolet Cars in Miami!”
Does that mean you don’t want keywords in your content? Of course, not. You MUST have a few keywords. Just don’t overdo it. Let the opportunities present themselves naturally and then pounce on them, without remorse!
Let’s go back to that Miami car dealership. Maybe they already have some unique web content with 5 or 6 natural instances of “Chevrolet Camaro in Miami,” a phrase they rank No. 1 for in Google. Spectacular! But they’re missing out on tons and tons of related searches. Why? Because they have no instances of “New Chevrolet Camaros in Miami,” or “Used Chevrolet Camaros in Miami,” or “Pre-Owned Chevrolet Camaros in Miami,” or “Best Miami Dealerships for Chevy Camaros.” There’s any number of ways people in Miami will search for the same car, but this dealership is only really taking advantage of one of them!
THAT is what optimized content is. It’s writing naturally and then searching through your content for ways to improve it. Anticipate the ways your audience would search for you, and then give it to them. Don’t set out to write content just so you can stuff it with 50 instances of a phrase you want to rank for. Write something of value to prospective clients and consumers, and then go back and optimize content accordingly.
Rule 6: Duplicate page titles confuse search engines
Attention must be paid to every facet of search engine optimization, but perhaps no single factor is as fundamentally important to search engine rankings as page titles. While page titles might seem an incredibly obvious area of concern when optimizing websites, duplicate page titles can actually diminish search engine rankings and quite drastically too.
Duplicate page titles can be the result of laziness, a lack of awareness, a limited website publishing program, or any number of other reasons but the bottom line is it’s simply imperative that unique and descriptive titles be used on your web pages in order to maximize search engine rankings. The more information search engine crawlers can deduce from each page heightens the likelihood your site will be pinpointed for a specific keyword or phrase.
There are numerous ways to determine the different (or in some cases duplicate) page titles in your website. But whether you manually click through every page of your website, explore your entire site per a “site colon search” on Google or Yahoo! (for example typing “site:vodahost.com”), or extract your site’s data from utilities such as Google Webmaster Tools, the first step to rectifying title page redundancy is learning exactly which pages bear what titles.
As page titles offer arguably the most telling description of page contents for search engine crawlers, it is essential that each page title be unique to the contents of that respective page. For instance, on the VodaHost website we tailor individual pages according to topic. Therefore, a page displaying an article about the S.E.O. Value of Keyword Rich Anchor Text is aptly titled “Keyword Rich Anchor Text for S.E.O. | Anchor Text Link Optimization”.
E-commerce websites would be wise to title each web page according to the particular products and category being advertised on that page. This adds notable value to each page, which consequently strengthens the website as a whole.
No matter what the contents of your website are, we recommend titles that accurately reflect the page content and contain the keywords or phrases you ultimately hope to rank high for in search engines. If you try any search query on the major search engines, you will notice the page titles cut off around 60-70 characters, so try and stay within that range. As an example, the homepage of an SEO firm might have a title something like:

Again, page titles might seem such an obvious and mundane concern that little should be written or said about them; however, neglecting page titles will undoubtedly have one of the most negative impacts on even the most polished websites. Contact VodaHost if you need help.
