Today I came across this little chapel. Outlined by a hedge and framed by oak trees, it’s a wonderful place to take a rest and think about stuff like the following quote.

Springtime. Though this years spring needs some time and warm temperatures and blue skys are still a bit rare at present, nevertheless nature’s awake and the fresh colors are back again. I love this season with all this fresh green of the new leafs and the growing gras.

In the garden, after the rain.

Spring makes a short break this weekend (but that’s ok, nature needs the rain), and our almond tree is fully in bloom. Like almost every year, I simply have to post a picture of an almond blossom, even it’s a very common subject ;).

After a long and dark winter, it’s so nice to see nature’s awakening again. Though the nights are still cold, we had warm temperatures (17-20° C) the last days and the sun is shining from a clear blue sky. Yet our catkin is blooming and the first diligent bees are on the job. This weekend the daylight saving time begins here in Germany, always a sign for me that the better days (weather- and photography-related) are arriving.

Sorry for the very, very late updates in the last weeks, I even had no time to visit your blogs an comment the photos, checking on Facebook or for other online activities. Other so called “real life things” are totally eating up my spare time. Nevertheless, I wish everyone all the best for 2012! Hope to participate more frequently in the upcoming year.
