Hawaii Lava Entering the Ocean

We just returned from an amazing trip to The Big Island of Hawaii. It was full of amazing natural wonders and while I have many many images to look through I thought I’d share this one. Taken at sunrise from a boat on the water we were able to view the lava entering the ocean. It was an amazing site and almost as amazing as the hot lava flows was the remnants of the cooled lava and the wonderful texture it created.

Sometimes it’s fun to dream. It’s even more fun to make those dreams a reality. Here are a couple of images from a dream shoot. Sometime later I’ll fill you in on the rest of the shoot, but just wanted to post these for now and give a huge thank you to the talented Angelique who has been my exclusive hair and makeup artist for about three years now. She’s more than a hired hand, she is another creative professional that I enjoy letting do her thing. For these girls I told her to play and do something she wanted and look at the fun looks we have. I know that she will always come through no matter the request. Be it a wedding, styled shoot, graduation images or in this case just a dream shoot for two amazing sisters and I to have fun. Her services are included in all of my intimate sessions and can be added onto any of my other sessions like engagements, family, commercial or of course you can hire her for your wedding day.
