Cadillac is starting race week in a big way as the company marks its 125th anniversary with a special edition of the most iconic American SUV on the planet, the Escalade. The 2027 Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series updates its top-of-the-line model with exclusive trim elements that include forged 24″ wheels, a carbon fiber grille surround, lower rear fascia, mirror caps, and engine cover, blue brake calipers, dark-finish badges, and heritage V8 puddle lamps.

The interior of the SUV is upholstered in Black and Sheer Gray two-tone leather with Santorini Blue stitching. The color of the accent stitch is a nod to the blue used in the V-Series emblem’s Mondrian pattern, a signature color used frequently in their race cars. It also features exclusive illuminated sill plates with anniversary branding, special badging, Santorini Blue seat belts, model-specific floor mats, and a blue key fob.

The 2027 Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series is limited tgo 252 units and is now available to order.

Leica is announcing its partnership with Formula 1, debuting a special edition of the Q3. Playing off the performance aspects of the sport, the Leica Q3 43 Formula 1 camera features a number of upgrades and yes, you can expect some carbon fiber in the mix.

The camera has been upgraded with a wireless charging handgrip that is wrapped in a carbon fiber shell and there’s even a soft release with a carbon fiber inlay and a rim in Leica red. There’s also a matching thumb rest and a non-slip Microvelour covering inspired by the materials used on a racing steering wheel.

Spec-wise, the camera features a APO-Summicron 43 f/2 ASPH, a hybrid autofocus system, and a 60MP full-frame sensor with Triple Resolution Technology. If you’re not familiar with the tech, the high-resolution sensor allows for you to choose from 60, 36, and 18MP options.

One of Oakley’s core styles in 1999, the Straight Jacket was a staple of the brand’s legendary eyewear lineup and the brand is revisiting the style once again in a palette of three classic colors. The angular sibling to the Eye Jacket, the Straight Jacket 99 is an evolution of the original style that reintroduced the frame in the brand’s design language of the period.

Today, the frame is reintroduced in three colorways that should ignite some nostalgia amongst old-school Oakley fans (and are sure to excite the new ones): Prototype (top), Blood Skull (middle), and Matte Rootbeer (bottom). All of the frames include Prizm lenses for enhanced contrast and sun protection.

Good Art is expanding its selection of camera accessories today with updated soft release designs in sterling silver. Hodinkee finds itself in Glasgow this week as the company has temed up with Scottish watchmaker Paulin on a new watch collaboration. Based on one of the brand’s first dive watch models, the Paulin Mara Limited Edition for Hodinkee features a dial finished using a heritage gilding process by Paulin’s production partner in Germany.

Brass blanks are electroplated in gold and the minute track and text are printed with a chemical resist barrier, which is then plated in matte black inside a galvanic bath. The barrier is then removed, revealing the gold finish beneath the surface. The remaining print is then applied in lacquer, a protective clear coat is then used, and last but not least, hour markers are then hand-painted in an antique-hued Super-LumiNova.

The watch comes in a 39.7mm stainless steel case and is backed by a Japanese Miyota 9039 automatic movement, which has a power reserve of 42 hours. The case also has a 120-click unidirectional bezel in dark grey, a double-domed sapphire crystal, and it comes fitted to a grey NATO strap with Hodinkee-branded hardware.

Now available, the watch is exclusive to Watches of Switzerland is limited to 250 pieces.

One year after Meyers Manx introduced its first apparel collection, the original dune buggy maker announced today Collection 2: Manx Airways, inspired by life aboard a vintage Grumman HU-16 Albatross owned by Phillip Sarofim, chairman of Meyers Manx. Much like the go-anywhere dune buggy, the amphibious Albatross captures the technical versatility and spirit of exploration the brand has long been known for in a series of pieces that draw on the uniforms, insignia, and graphics of mid-century aviation.

The collection, styled in a palette of cream and navy, with red piping and aircraft graphics, includes signature pieces like the cream Pilot’s Shirt finished with contrasting red piping, a navy Airways Jacket that carries the Meyers Manx Airways name and an illustration of the Albatross across the back, and the Airways Rugby that pairs navy with a contrasting white collar. A cream 1964 Sweater carries the year of the original Manx across the chest.

Graphic tees that feature the Albatross, HU-16 references, and Meyers Manx artwork and accessories like the Manx Airways Duffel, luggage tag, aviation-inspired keychains and flight-crew-style caps round out the collection.

Answering demand for a steel timepiece, Biver introduces a new model based on the Automatique, called the AB. A completely new watch from the ground up, the AB features a 38mm case (9.8mm thick) and is their most compact model yet. The dial is crafted from 2N yellow gold with a black DLC treatment and an onyx outer ring.

The AB is also the company’s first manually-wound watch, featuring an original, hand-finished JCB-004 in-house movement with a 120-hour power reserve and a mainplate and bridges made out of a white gold alloy called PD210. Expanding on Rimowa and Mykita’s shared design philosophies, the two brands launch a modern interpretation of a classic round silhouette and a wraparound shield. The MR007 (above), is a nod to a timeless eyewear shape with anodized aluminum rings and signature Mykita details such as the proprietary, screw-less hinge that keeps the stainless steel frame in one piece.

The MR008 brings futuristic minimalism to a lightweight shield with toric lens construction that uses Mykita’s Mylon material to secure the lens to the frame. Like the MR007, the stainless steel frame features Mykita’s Spiral Hinge technology. You’ll also find grippy nose pads and temples, a high-performance lens, and a co-branded case.

Japanese staple BEAMS commemorates Haven’s 20th anniversary with an exclusive collection from the brand’s ‘the A’ line. A take on American casualwear, the exclusive pieces for Haven include two jacket silhouettes and two bottoms in wool or denim.

The wool styles are made using a Japanese Nidom finishing process that creates a soft, textured surface while retaining the material’s natural warmth. The jacket features a GORE-TEX membrane for wind and water-resistance and SOLOTEX and AERO CAPSULE ECO adds a layer of insulation.

The denim side of the capsule includes a Work Blouson in a 12.5oz selvedge denim and it features a GORE-TEX Windstopper membrane. The Double Knee Pant uses the same denim that goes through a BIO FADE process and a sumi-dyed finish.

Analogue is revisiting its Mega Sg+ and Super Nt+ consoles with some much-needed upgrades to improve the overall experience. Originally launched in 2018, the Mega Sg+ lets you play both Genesis and Master System cartridges and various other Sega console titles through optional adapters.

The new upgrade integrates Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connectivity, USB-C and USB-A inputs, and you even have a native connector to connect the Mega Sg+ to a Sega CD system. For the Super Nintendo fans, the Super Nt+ also adds Bluetooth and 2.4g wireless connectivity, USB-C and USB-A inputs, hot swappable cartridges, and the ability to power and shut down the system right from the controller.

Both the Mega Sg+ and Super Nt+ are now available for pre-order. Both consoles ship this December.

Ressence introduces the purest expression of its signature timekeeping system with the Type 10 DN (Dark Night), a watch they’re calling a monochromatic monolith. Designed to feel like a seamless object, the company paired a case, dial, and integrated rubber strap in the same deep blue hue and a fluid design language with a sapphire crystal that blends into the shape of the case.

That latter detail is made possible through their oil-filled dial, which makes it look as if the surface is pulled up toward the crystal. The biggest news here is the 538 components that come together in the brand’s first-ever in-house movement: the RW-04.

196 components alone are used for just the oil-filled ROCS module and 49 gears, 47 jewels, and eight ball bearings keep everything running smoothly. The self-winding RW-04 itself utilizes 252 components and has a power reserve of 60 hours.

The Ressence Type 10 Dark Night is limited to 100 pieces and will be available this November.
