When it comes to the nomenclature used for her significant-other, Kate Hudson has some specific preferences. She and Muse singer Matt Bellamy are engaged to be married, but she can't bring herself to use the word "fiancé."

"It's weird to say fiancé to me. I like baby daddy," she told Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa. "So he'll be my baby daddy until he's [my] hubby."

Kate, whose due date is reportedly in July, still doesn't know if she's having a boy or a girl, but either way that baby is already getting some practice walking the red carpet. With the premiere of Something Borrowed, Kate has been photographed a lot lately, and she's been showing off some serious maternity style.

On Monday she held her own against New York's high fashion crowd at the Met's gala party for its new Alexander McQueen exhibit, wearing a champagne-colored silk Stella McCartney gown.

The sun is shining and it can almost be classified as hot outside. We're in full spring mode and are delighted everytime we see a star favoring color instead of black. At the Academy tribute to Sophia Loren, Christina Ricci showed off her sexy side in a sleek sheath by Dolce & Gabbana.

The sage green frock celebrated the season without going overboard. But we all know Christina still has a bit of Wednesday Addams in her—as evidenced by her gothic Met gala ensemble. The former 'American Idol' judge is among the top 10 of the Sunday Times Rich List for earning 200 million pounds a year.

Simon Cowell is reportedly worth GBP200 million. The 51-year-old music mogul made GBP35 million last year from his various business interests including his SyCo music label and reality TV shows including "The X Factor" and "America's Got Talent", leading to his inclusion at number six on the annual Sunday Times Rich List of Britain's music millionaires, which is due to be published by the newspaper this weekend.

Simon, who owns homes in Beverly Hills, Barbados, Malaga and Dubai, has bypassed music legends including Elton John, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards on the list, but his assets are dwarfed by others including former Zomba Records owner Clive Calder who took the top spot with a GBP1.3 billion fortune and rival Simon Fuller, whose GBP375 million wealth earned him fifth place on the list.

Other musicians who made the list were The Beatles legend Paul McCartney, with a GBP495 million fortune, and Sting with GBP180 million.

Even though Simon, who is engaged to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy, can claim to be one of Britain's richest men he admitted he still enjoys playing the National Lottery, but would never tell anyone if he scooped a million pound jackpot. He said, "I still buy lottery tickets. I still play. But I tick the box that says no publicity so no one would know."

However, despite his vast wealth, Simon has recently admitted he often gets in "dark moods for no reason" and has often considered going to see a psychiatrist to deal with "a number of issues" he has. He explained, "If I ever decided to go to a psychiatrist, it would be a long session."

I have always thought that I do have a number of issues that probably need dealing with, because I am quite odd in some ways. I get very dark moods for no reason. I just sit on my own for days."

The "Fashion Police" star reportedly started dating photographer and visual artist Anton Lombardi recently after being friends with him for years and Kelly's friends are delighted she has found romance again following her bitter split from fiance Luke Worrall last year.

A source told the New York Post newspaper, "Kelly and Anton have known each other for a long time, but their relationship became more serious a week ago. Things happened naturally. They became close in New York but have now headed to Los Angeles together."

"Kelly's friends are really happy for them - he's a really good, very talented guy."

Kelly - who dated British musician Rob Damiani after breaking up with Luke - and Anton were spotted holding hands in New York this week and attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute gala ball after-party together on Monday, May 2.

Following months of speculation, it has now been announced the British singer will join Simon Cowell and record executive L.A. Reid on the judging panel of the show and she says she can't wait to get to work.

The 27-year-old beauty - who has been a judge on "The X Factor" since 2008, mentoring the winning act in her first two series - said, "I'm so excited to be taking part in the American version of 'The X Factor'."

"I absolutely love it here in the UK, and with the talent they have out in America, I'm sure we're going to find someone very special. I can't wait to get started."

The royal couple - who received the titles Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the day of their marriage at London's Westminster Abbey last Friday, April 29 - will take a trip to the west coast of America from July 8 to July 10 following their first official overseas visit to Canada from June 30 to July 8.

A statement from St James's Palace said, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit California, United States of America, following their tour of Canada in July this year."

"The couple will visit the state of California from July 8 to July 10 2011. A detailed itinerary will be published at a later date."

Although no other details of the California visit have been announced, William and Catherine's 10 days in Canada will include stops in Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and the National Capital Region.

Until now Catherine has only taken day long official engagements and has never visited America before.

It was revealed earlier this week that the couple are to set off on a world tour next year taking in Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean, as well as other Commonwealth countries in Africa and Asia, to ease Queen Elizabeth's workload in her Diamond Jubilee year.

With the queen - William's 85-year-old grandmother - reportedly having told fellow members of the British royal family they must rally round as she celebrates 60 years on the throne, it is thought Buckingham Palace officials are hoping to capitalize on the success of Friday's nuptials, which were watched by an estimated two billion people worldwide.

A Palace source said, "Demand for William and Catherine is expected to go through the roof following the incredible reaction to their wedding."

"But next year's Jubilee is major for the royal family and William and Catherine are keen to play their part in it."

The 27-year-old actress separated from documentary maker Tao Ruspoli in February after almost eight years of marriage and thinks it was better for them to end their union when it went wrong rather than staying in an unhappy relationship.

She said, "The mark of a good marriage is partnership and continuing to feel inspired by your spouse. I had that with Tao. But the end is not necessarily the tragedy. Staying in a relationship that is no longer working is the tragedy. Living unhappily - that's the tragedy."

Olivia was just 19 when she tied the knot and she now realizes some of the warnings she was given about getting wed so young were true.

She told America's Glamour magazine, "Everyone said it to me - and I had to figure it out for myself - but you change so much. I've learned it's important to spend time in a relationship with yourself and not being defined by your partner."

The "Tron Legacy" star is now ready to start dating again, though she admits she is unsure of how to conduct herself or go about finding new men to go out with.

She said, "I'm opening up my heart to the idea of dating. It's funny - my friends would always come to me for romantic advice, but I know nothing, and things have changed since I was dating in high school! I'm really trying hard to spend this time working on myself."

"I wish I could play the field. But it's so not me. I go 100 percent into everything. And I'm a really good girlfriend."

The actress enjoyed wearing period costumes for "Meek's Cutoff" - which focuses on settlers traveling through the Oregon desert in 1845 who then find themselves stranded in harsh conditions - because of the privacy the outfits offered when she needed a toilet break.

She said, "The dresses, they were ingenious for so many reasons. They actually do keep you quite cool, because they're cotton, and they also provide cover. Privacy is important to women, and when you're on the trail like that, so little is afforded. But with the dress, you can actually go to the bathroom in private. It provides an incredible shield. You could literally be in a conversation with somebody and just sort of drop down . I can't believe I'm talking about this."

Michelle was such a fan of the bonnets she had to wear, she and her co-star Zoe Kazan went out and bought some when shooting wrapped.

But the 30-year-old star admits one side-effect of the modest clothing was that it made her develop a repressed attitude.

She told Interview magazine, "It's like wearing blinders, really. But again, the lack of privacy on the trail almost created a sense of privacy when there is none. Zoe Kazan and I became close during the movie, and we missed our bonnets. I missed the whole thing. There were two Winnebagos that housed hair and make-up, wardrobe, ADs, changing, everything ... and we'd take our dresses off at night and I'd catch a glimpse of Zoe's ankle, and it became like pornography. When you're covered from head to toe all day long, you're not used to the sight of skin, and I would sort of avert my eyes because I'd feel like I was seeing something inappropriate."

"But we bought bonnets. We've been threatening each other to wear them in Brooklyn, but so far neither of us have been bold enough to break them out."

The "Glee" starlet is excited about the news the show's current summer tour is to be made into a film, but joked she feels "sorry - for people who may end up being poked by her virtual nose when they go to see it in cinemas."

She told the E! news network, "My nose is gonna be insane. People are gonna put on those glasses, and I feel bad for them!"

Lea, 24, also said she's still getting used to being invited to "The A-List" events and is always worried she will be thrown out of them, such as when she attended the New York Met Gala earlier this week hosted by Vogue Editor Anna Wintour.

In the show a homeless woman mistakes Paris for Lindsay and says she will give a pair of earring the star has just gifted her to her sister, and tell her they are "from Lindsay".

Paris corrects the woman, then on a voiceover to the clip jokes, "If I were Lindsay, I'd be stealing the earrings, not giving them away."

According to website TMZ.com, Lindsay has reacted badly and has been telling friends, "Paris is mean. You don't have to make fun of serious matters in people's lives to be funny."

If convicted of stealing the necklace, Lindsay is likely to be sent to jail. Last week she was also found in breach of her probation in connection to the case and sentenced to 120 days in prison, which she was bailed from, and 480 hours of community service.

Paris and Lindsay have had a turbulent relationship since 2006, when the latter was accused of getting too close to Paris' ex-boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos.

The "Back to the Future" actor was originally diagnosed with the disease, which affects the central nervous system, in 1991, but while his battle has been long, he is always upbeat, and says it has changed his focus for the better.

He explained to Good Housekeeping magazine, "One of the great things about Parkinson's, in a superficial way, is it relieved me of vanity."

"I don't worry about what I look like, because it's literally out of my hands."

"But on a deeper level, it gives you a real humility, because you have to deal every day with the fact that you compromise, to a certain extent - so then you explore what that compromise is and 'how am I compromised?' And for everything I can't do, I find that there's another ability that's been developed or another avenue that I've gone down."

The actor also returned to work last year, appearing in several episodes of "The Good Wife", which he found was a hugely positive experience.

He added, "Career wise, it was great to work again. That was really fun."

"I don't have the physical subtlety that I had before. I don't have the elasticity of expression that I had. But at the same time, this experience has given me a gravitas, a kind of steadiness and a stillness, even in my motion, that I didn't have before. It's really taught me how to be quiet."

Michael, 49, also said he's proud to see how the "Back to the Future" films' - which star him as Marty McFly, who travels through time juggling his past, present and future family - have had an enduring appeal.

He added, "It's funny that a film about multigenerational relationships, characters over a span of generations, has become a film that's popular over a span of generations."

Lady GaGa's potentially-offensive music video in support of her controversial single "Judas" has just been out for fans' viewing pleasure. Directed by the Monster ringleader with the help from her choreographer Laurianne Gibson, the video actually leaked hours before the official release date. This prompted her to rush the premiere around three hours earlier before the original schedule.

GaGa plays Mary Magdalene, and Norman Reedus portray Judas. Talking about her role, the outspoken singer said, "I play Mary Magdalene leading them into the town where we meet Jesus and I will leave the rest for you to see. But it's meant more to celebrate faith than it is to challenge it."

Due to its biblical imagery, the music video was slammed by a Catholic conservative group even before it's released. "I find GaGa to be increasingly irrelevant. She thinks she is going to be groundbreaking. She is trying to ripoff Christian idolatry to shore up her talentless, mundane and boring performances," said Bill Donohue, president of a Catholic League.

A few weeks later, the "Born This Way" hitmaker broke her silence over the criticism. Speaking to MSN Entertainment, she insisted the song and its music video are not supposed to be blasphemous, but rather be a "metaphor for forgiveness" and "celebration of faith."

The outlandish singer defended the song further when talking to E! News' Giuliana Rancic. "I don't view the video as a religious statement," she stated. "I view it as social statement. I view it as a cultural statement. It's a metaphor. It's not meant to be a biblical lesson."

Well, I don’t think Jennifer Aniston is living like a nun, and the best way for a lady like her to keep her love life out of the spotlight is to date guys who are not in the spotlight (although I’d still love to see her with Bradley Cooper, or even George Clooney), but this… I don’t know what to believe.

Brian Bouma, who worked as a lighting tech on the movie ‘Love Happens,’ claims he dated Jennifer. He’s telling all to Star magazine, and Radar Online got a preview of the interview. Brian claims Jennifer pursued him and likes “bad boys.”

“[Dating Jennifer] was an overwhelming experience. I just want to set the record straight, she’s not the person people think she is.

“All that’s written about her being lonely is just ridiculous. I didn’t spend time with Jen because she was famous or successful. I’ve been down that road before. It usually mean trouble with a capital T. It was because of the conversation that first time we spoke. She’s genuine, sincere and charismatic.”

So what went wrong with the couple? Brian says he wasn’t enough of a “bad boy.”

“It was an overwhelming experience. I guess she just wasn’t that into me. She did tell me that I was too ‘Mr. Pure.’ She kind of made me feel and act like a young school boy.”

And apparently, that was a little tough on Brian’s ego. Guys !

“It would have been even better if I thought she was a jerk. But she’s an amazing, beautiful and talented woman who’s sweet and kind and treats everyone, with respect.”

I haven’t believed all those stories that Jennifer was this lonely single lady myself, but still… do you think Brian’s claims are fact or fiction?

It’s official, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have named their babies Monroe Cannon & Moroccan Scott Cannon!

Well we knew that both babies’ names were going to start with the letter ‘M’ because Mariah had tweeted out a teaser yesterday and today they revealed their names.

Mariah gave birth to the twins on April 30th, which also happened to be her and Nick’s 4th wedding anniversary. Obviously there were quite a few people eagerly waiting to hear what the babies were named since as soon as Mariah tweeted out the names her web site crashed!

I heard she named their son Morrocan because that’s the name of their NYC apartment and he’ll be called Roc for short! What do you think of the twin’s names?!

Of course we were all focused on Catherine Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, for the royal wedding, since she was the bride, but I (and I’m sure none of you who watched) missed Princess Beatrice’s hat (fascinator, I think they’re called in England?)

Princess Eugenie has received her fair share of attention, but Beatrice’s hat/fascinator stole the show. Philip Treacy designed both princesses hats (as well as a number of other hats worn at the event), and he defended his creations to HollywoodLife.com.

“My inspiration was beauty and elegance it’s a 21st century royal wedding. No, they didn’t tell me [what they wanted] because I’ve known them for a long time and I wanted them to look gorgeous and beautiful. They trusted me to make them. Gorgeous and beautiful can be open to interpretation … I thought they looked gorgeous and beautiful. But no one is crying if anyone didn’t.”

True, no one is crying, but goodness! Those hats were… quite something. Someone’s even created a Facebook page called ‘Princess Beatrice’s Ridiculous Wedding Hat.’ And (when I checked) 133,907 people LIKED the page. What are your thoughts on the hats?
