&lt;p&gt;It will stop you on your tracks in the store. Campbell&amp;rsquo;s Soup encouraged shoppers to help in the fight against hunger by donating a can to the local food bank. And at the same time playing a visual trick.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It would have been nicer perhaps if Campbell would have donated the same amount with every purchase but hey, well done anyway. We all know how difficult is to implement something like this among retailers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This must be one of the smartest ways to use Twitter to promote and brand and deliver a tangible benefit for the consumer (not necessarily the finest case study, though).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Japanese pharmaceutical brand SSP, allowed people to literally see the cold coming in order to prevent it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;By tracking the online talk about cold and flu related illnesses, they managed to map it out and allow people to see where the cold was, how it was moving and what the symptoms were.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The best part is that it didn&amp;rsquo;t end up in just an awareness exercise. The company used the same system to alert the trade so they could stock up in advance.&lt;/p&gt;

Then they could go and perform the moves themselves while being recorded on camera frame by frame, and their moves later analyzed and visualized in a beautiful motion-print.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="p1"&gt;&lt;span class="s1"&gt;Not only creates high engagement level with the audience. The whole campaign is very well integrated and leveraged via technology, social media and mass media.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thousands of people die, just because they have no access to medication. On the other hand, most of the world&amp;rsquo;s medications are pain killers. What if you could take a pain killer to cure other people&amp;rsquo;s pain?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A placebo pill started to sell in pharmacies with no effect for the taker but an priceless result for those in need. The proceedings from this pill went to those who need aid the most.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It displays a very clever use of social media and the numbers are unusually high for a charity.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It seems that Helsinski is the World&amp;rsquo;s Design Capital for 2012 (I didn&amp;rsquo;t know). However the topic of design is of low relevance (or even understanding) for mere mortals out there.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How to engage normal people with design when nobody seems to care?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Considering the basic premise that &amp;lsquo;design&amp;rsquo; in the broad sense is about making things work better, they created Kauko, a pop-up caf&amp;eacute; cum design chaotic experiment. Certain aspects of the caf&amp;eacute;&amp;rsquo;s disfunctional design are remote-controlled by other people online, in real time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As the saying goes, some good things you don&amp;rsquo;t notice until they go missing. The result is rather funny and I guess some people started to pay a little more attention.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Back to the future</title>

&lt;p&gt;Time named &amp;lsquo;The Protester&amp;rsquo; Person of the Year, marking the newly-found power in social media that sparked big and small revolutions around the world. And one of the best examples was the January 14th 2011 Tunisian Revolution.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Less publicised though was the fact that after the initial euphoria for having achieved freedom from dictatorship, strikes and economic paralysis took control of the country.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This presented an incredible behavioural challenge. In this daunting environment, people had to stand up and get back to work to rebuild the country. Ogilvy convinced 6 major brands and 5 media owners to participate in a curious activation campaign.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On February 16th 2011, everyone was pretending that it was June 16th 2014, and the news showed how prosperous Tunis could be if everyone started to play their part and participated in a new revolution about getting back to work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;They say that the best way to predict the future is to create it. This is a fantastic example of behaviour change beyond our jobs of brand building.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It won a Gold Media Lion at Cannes 2011.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Air China wanted to promote themselves in the Swedish market as an airline that not only carries Europeans to Asia but also connects them to a vast network of Asian destinations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rather than relying on expensive media, they cut a deal with an assortment of Asian restaurants and allowed patrons to check-in via QR codes to participate in a simple promotion. The more check-ins, the more chances to win a free trip to China, while the leader board was exposed on Facebook for all to see and share.&lt;/p&gt;

A very insightful look at consumers and shoppers today with a human &amp;mdash;rather than business&amp;mdash; perspective. How our paradigms of healthy choices, family, masculinity and happiness among others have changed and how that affects the way we relate to brands and products.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Apart from giving away some interesting stuff to think about, the video is beatifully crafted and proves that showcasing data and statistics does not need to be boring.&lt;/p&gt;
