Nashville homes For Sale And Market Statistics April 2013 - Sales of single family homes are up 27% compared to April of last year, with almost every area within Nashville showing a strong sellers market and new homes selling long before completion. With an absorption rate down to 4.5 months this early in the year, I'm expecting prices to continue to rise.

The inventory of homes listed in the Nashville MLS is down 15% compared to the same time last year.

One Little Mouse Can Make A Mess

We have an older Nissan Pathfinder that we don't drive every day. I ususally take it out when the weather is bad, or if I'm showing land or rural property because it has lots of ground clearance and 4 wheel drive. I drive it to the recycle center at lease weekly and run a few errands.

On Saturday, when I turned on the air conditioner, a lot of small pieces flew out of the vents, and the blower motor sounded odd. I shut it off and turned it over to my resident mechanic Elizabeth.

After several hours of taking apart the dash and HVAC components behind the dash she was able to clean out the proverbial rats nest. Prompting a trip to the local Tractor Supply for a large supply of mouse traps.

The thing that looks like a basket is the fan for the air conditioner and heater. It's supposed to be emply, but instead it's full of small pieces of cotton and twigs. I'm a little concerned about where the cotton pieces came from.

Regardless of where you live, it's nesting time for all kinds of creatures. They can make a mess for us humans.

It sounded Like A Pterodactyl - That's what my son told me he heard behind my house Wednesday.
