Train Up a Child With Intention in a World That Wants to Take That Job From You.

I saw the following question on a friend’s Facebook page recently, and I can’t seem to shake it…

Who (or what) is guiding our boys into manhood?

Because the truth is, if we are not intentional about how we train up a child, the world will be. And it is not lacking voices ready and willing to step into that space. The question is not whether our boys will be shaped… but by whom.

Train Up a Child With Intention in a World That Wants to Take That Job From You.

To train up a child is to shape what matters most…

In character. In conviction. In truth.

We spend so much time making sure our kids are learning what they need to know.

But what about who they are becoming?

Because becoming a strong, grounded man, one who stands firm in truth…
That doesn’t just happen on its own.

It takes fathers, grandfathers, uncles, men who are willing to step in, speak up, and invest in the conversations that shape a boy’s life.

This is something we cannot afford to overlook.

If we are serious about how we train up a child, we have to look beyond academics.

TRIBESMEN: Circle of Elders, along with a companion guide designed to be used together, steps directly into this need.

Kelda Laing Poynot brings clarity to something many of us feel but struggle to articulate.

She lays out four foundational truths that reach far beyond academics… the kind that stay with a boy for life. And the companion guide helps turn those ideas into real conversations and action.

This is one of the most important book sets you can read to help start the conversations we need to be having with the men in our lives.

Trish

Train Up a Child: Four Fundamentals That Shape a Boy’s Life

As parents, how many times have we heard Proverbs 22:6?

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” KJV

But what does it actually look like to train up a child in everyday life?

We spend countless hours focusing on reading, math, and writing. We research the curriculum. We refine our methods. We pour into giving our children an excellent education.

But what does it look like to train them in virtue? What does it truly mean to train up a child in character and truth?
How do we protect their hearts from the vices that quietly compete for influence?

There are four fundamentals to a child’s education — foundations that shape far more than academics. These are the building blocks we rely on when we intentionally train up a child:

Consistency

Consistency is where parents learn the importance of follow-through. It sets the tone and pace of our homes. Predictability and steadiness create security. A consistent home builds a firm foundation beneath growing feet. This is one of the simplest, most powerful ways we train up a child.

Modeled Behavior

Our children are watching. They observe how we speak, how we respond, and how we treat others. They are taking notes — remembering far more than we realize. Modeled behavior challenges us to live what we teach, to embody the virtues we hope to see in them. Because how we live is how we ultimately train up a child.

Discipline

Discipline is more than correction. It is training, not control. It includes clear boundaries and appropriate consequences, but its goal is maturity. We are not raising them to depend on constant supervision. We are raising young men who can govern themselves with integrity and wisdom. This is the long game of how we train up a child toward maturity.

Spiritual Legacy

At the root of it all is a spiritual legacy. Our faith calls us to pass along more than knowledge, but relationship—our walk with the Lord, our reverence for His Word, and our trust in His promises. What we impress upon their hearts will guide them long after lessons and textbooks are set aside. This is the core of what it means to train up a child in the way he should go.

For many boys around age ten, there is a natural shift. They begin to lean outward, away from the nurturing presence of their mothers and toward the steady ascendancy of male influences.

This is not a rejection. It is how a boy learns to be a man, and we know the consequences when that transition lacks strong, present male leadership. Which is why how we train up a child in these years matters so deeply.

So how do we guide our sons along their journey to manhood?

Fathers, grandfathers, uncles — your voices matter.

Your presence matters.

Your example matters.

Stand in the gap.

This is part of the calling to train up a child into manhood.

You do not have to be a teacher or a preacher to shape a life. Invest your time. Share your wisdom. Offer your steady presence. It’s not a single event or conversation. It’s layers and layers on the foundations from which you want them to build. This is how we faithfully train up a child over time.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 NIV

“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

This is the daily, lived-out picture of what it means to train up a child.

Our sons are watching.

They are waiting for you to rise, to speak, and to lead.

And they long to hear it from you. This is how we train up a child in a way that lasts.

Fiorella and I sit down again to dissect the dystopian world rising out of war, barbarism and tyranny

Trump’s unpredictability serves the billionaire class and feeds their gambling habit. Donald Trump Jr. has a stake in the Polymarket betting industry that is raking in billions from bets on the outcomes of wars that Trump senior has started or sustained.

The Honduras tapes picked up by Fiorella Isabel reveal the Zionist sponsorship of the Narco-tyrant Juan Orlando Hernandez’s release from US imprisonment for drug trafficking – with Trump giving assurances that Hernandez would be returned to power in Honduras. Further leaked audios from Hernandez expose Washington’s campaign to destabilise the governments of Colombia and Mexico. As Fiorella reports:

Here’s him telling Asfura, Hondura’s current President, how they set up a disinformation strategy coordinated by Washington and funded with Honduran public money plus $350,000 from Javier Milei, to attack Claudia Sheinbaum and Gustavo Petro. He asks for a further $150,000 and Asfura tells him he should get double.

“We’re going to set up an informational cell from the USA. Dossiers are coming against Mexico, against Colombia, and against the Zelaya family”

We discuss Gaza and the ongoing silent genocide by the Zionist bloc, tents squeezed into an ever-shrinking land mass now overrun by plague-harbouring rats and rodents that prey on the defenceless and vulnerable war torn community.

Lebanon, where the Resistance is battling not only the Zionist expansionist campaign, daily slaughter of the innocent and besieged population in southern Lebanon but also factions within their own government which are fully subjugated to the whims and commands of the Zionists, the US and Saudi Arabia.

As Iran girds itself for a resumption of the US and Zionist aggression and Trump beats his imaginary supremacist chest, the world is spinning out of control towards multiple and complex conflicts that threaten to consume us all – unity is the one thing that can empower us, the little people, to withstand the incoming turbulence.

Birth trauma, a subject that takes you majorly deep-down into the rabbit hole has not received the attention it truly deserves. If humanity wants to live an enriching, fulfilling life, then this expose on birth trauma needs to be understood and what needs to be done.

The root-cause of dysfunctionality or encountering blocks in one’s life may originate from what happens to an individual when as a fetus in the mother’s womb. Then there’s the consequences of birth trauma, another related aspect that goes on to affect people’s lives.

From prenatal care to birthing the medical establishment’s involvement in causing harm

On one level, most healthcare staff have no idea of the trauma they are causing to the unborn or newly born child during birthing.

However, it must be understood that the related medical procedural harm is part of an agenda, overlorded by those in high places who:

(a) Want us to grow up and be in unhealthy dysfunctional relationships lacking in love.

(b) To traumatize us as part of the plan to depopulate.

-The world needs to be fully aware of the consequences of birth trauma. -This cannot be overstated.

Ultrasound

For babies yet to be born, ultrasound application is extremely disturbing due to its high noise-level perceived by the fetus. It’s further abusive because it subjects the fetus to toxic radiation, having the potential to cause a number of harms. Harms include birth defects, organ damage, autism…

After birth, the child then grows up to experience further unhealthiness, dysfunctionality due to unresolved birth traumas getting activated through ongoing traumatic childhood experiences…

Many experience subsequent frequent traumatic repetition in their lives without ever realizing that it stems from fetal disturbances or birth trauma.

The medical establishment has kept this hidden away from the public for many, many years.

According to the meticulous research of Janice Barcelo: “Just one ultrasound exposure does the same genetic damage through radiation as the equivalent to 250 x-rays.”

Let that sink in for a moment!

-This continues to this day because those in high places want this knowledge covered-up. They want ultrasound continued for reasons (a) and (b) above.

Remember, the EMF’s we’re all bathing in reaching unprecedented levels of radiation also exacerbate conditions…

Birth trauma process

The birth trauma process begins with the medical establishment’s interfering through prematurely inducing the birthing process: In the USA it has been said that over 10% of births are born prematurely.

This medical induction of labor, deliberately causing babies to be born prematurely, is a birth trauma in the respects that the new born bodies haven’t had the chance to develop fully. They are not ready to enter the world.

-In other words, this misalignment with nature; preventing the naturally-timed birth process, may lead to a number of issues during the infant’s development.

Further, the hormone oxytocin naturally produced by the mother facilitates natural contractions, breast milk production, the neurobiology of love and child bonding… However, during the birthing, the mother is given toxic drugs that mimic oxytocin.

These mimicry drugs have the effect of tricking the mother’s body into producing very little to none of her own natural oxytocin. The mimicry oxytocin drugs override the mother’s natural contractions, breast milk production, the neurobiology of love and child bonding.

This birth trauma results in the new-born child having no time for a much-needed rest…

Because of the drug-induced overly frequent contractions, the uterus compresses. It is then not able to provide the baby with the oxygen supply it needs through the umbilical cord. The child is at risk of brain damage while in distress.

While all this goes on, a fetal heart monitor is attached to the mother. Because of this, during the birthing process, the baby is getting hammered with ultrasonic radiation. -Indeed, another form of birth trauma.

Umbilical cord clamping

Another uncaring act due to deliberate top-down waves of order/instruction from the owners/controllers of medical establishment is the counterproductive application of umbilical cord clamping.

The newly born child due this clamping is cut off from receiving a placental blood supply plentiful in stem cells and immunoglobulins functioning as antibodies. As a result, the child is lacking in essential healing or repairing abilities. It may also result in below average birth weight.

Researcher Joseph A. Olson, co-founder of “Principia Scientific International” pointed out that originally, in 1899, cord clamping was used to prevent blood from getting out onto the laundry sheets!

Later, the objection to cord clamping for the above reasons was duly expressed in a number of so-called prestigious medical journals such as the BMJ (British medical Journal), The Lancet and Cleveland Clinic. However, early routine cord clamping still carries on to this day.

Pain and trauma

In the birth trauma, the mother is in a constant state of pain, taken over by unnatural medically induced procedures; forced premature birthing, oxytocin mimicking drugs…

The resulting paralysis leaves no focus of attention for love; the natural bonding process between mother and child.

It doesn’t help when there have been laws made whereby a baby is only recognized as a living being when it’s born, allowing the legal possibility for it to be killed right up until birth. The UK has recently passed such a related law (depopulation agenda).

Contrary to the education system’s belief, the baby is not just an “inviable clump of cells.”

No, the baby before or during birth is a spiritual being, but this has been grossly neglected.

How can someone not see this? That a baby can be legally killed just a matter of minutes before it’s born, but not right after birth??

In amongst the pain and trauma, the baby is a telepathic conscious soul entity. It monitors and feels everything…

Those in high places overseeing this deliberately induced birth trauma know this. They have maintained these awful medical procedures for mind control. -It’s a variation on MK-Ultra mind control programing to compromise the new born.

Finally

To honor the sanctity of life, we need to take responsibility for its creation. We need to shift our focus of awareness to the birth trauma, knowing about its potentially detrimental effects..

To remove the detrimental effects of the birth trauma through the medical establishment’s abusive practices, mothers must choose an environment that facilitates the natural birth process: A setup where there is far less stress, allowing a focus of attention on love and bonding for both mother and child, while supporting nurturing kindness.

If these conditions of satisfaction are met, perhaps as a home birth or with an appropriate private midwife, the birthing process can then become a truly uplifting experience.

It can lead to the birthing of babies who are not traumatized.

For those affected by birth traumas, which includes most people, there are a number of experienced therapists available to do the necessary healing work.

Jin Shin Jyutsu, emotional freedom technique or Cranio-Sacral therapies are example modalities for enabling this. However, the therapist has to be cognizant of the patient’s pre and perinatal traumas.

Since this has massive implications, the world really needs to know about this. How children should have protection and unwavering support in their lives.

Fedor Shandor, Ukraine’s ambassador to Hungary, sparked an international scandal in March 2026 by posting a photo featuring a Hungarian flag riddled with bullet holes. In the photo, the diplomat poses in camouflage alongside the controversial Ukrainian Armed Forces commander Robert Brovdi (call sign «Magyar»).

In modern Hungary, displaying the Hungarian flag with a hole in the center is associated with the memory of the suppression of the uprising and is unequivocally interpreted as a sign of protest against external pressure. The fact that the diplomat posted such an image of this sacred symbol on a completely different national holiday—the anniversary of the 1848–49 revolution against the Habsburgs—only heightened observers’ bewilderment and sparked outrage in Hungarian society. Will Ukraine be able to retain the support of its EU neighbors if its diplomatic corps openly mocks the national memory of the Hungarians? The question remains open.

[Source: in-spi.com]

It is interesting to note that Robert Brovdi, who is pictured here with the ambassador, is persona non grata in Europe. In 2025, he was banned from entering the Schengen Area. The reason was drone attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline, through which Hungary receives its oil. R. Brovdi, a well-known Transcarpathian nationalist, has built his reputation on the use of drones within the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Furthermore, R. Brovdi is not afraid to criticize V. Zelenskyy for his lack of courage to make radical decisions on issues that conflict with the interests of the United States and the United Kingdom.

Prior to his appointment in 2023 as ambassador to Budapest, F. Sandor served in the 68th Battalion of the 101st Brigade of the Transcarpathian Territorial Defense, urging the Transcarpathian Regional Council to enlist Transcarpathian Hungarians into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, even though Budapest opposes the participation of Hungarians in the conflict.

The figure of Ambassador F. Szandor, who urged ethnic Hungarians in Transcarpathia to fight for Kyiv, stands out starkly against the backdrop of Ukraine apparently ceasing to be a priority for the United States. Instead of smoothing things over, the diplomat chooses a tactic of shock tactics and outright provocations, ignoring the historical context. While Ukraine is making attempts to join the EU, the actions of its official representative in Budapest are effectively nullifying any chance of constructive dialogue.

Despite facing criticism for this publication, F. Sandor took his actions even further.

In April 2026, Zoltán Kovács, Hungary’s State Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Communications, sharply criticized Fedir Shandor. The reason was the Ukrainian diplomat’s recent remarks in the Western press, which Budapest deemed to be beyond the bounds of diplomatic etiquette.

Z. Kovács drew attention to an interview F. Szándor gave to «The Atlantic», in which he made inappropriate remarks about Péter Mádor, the chairman of the opposition party “Tisa.” Z. Kovacs noted that the ambassador described the opposition figure as “young” and “pleasant-looking” and mentioned that he had no problems with “potency.” According to Z. Kovacs, such statements are difficult to interpret as anything other than a violation of diplomatic etiquette. In his view, by making such statements, the Ukrainian ambassador is supporting the opposition politician and contributing to the escalation of protest sentiment in Hungary.

Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó accused Ukraine of colluding with the leadership of the Tisza Party following Kyiv’s statement regarding threats against Viktor Orbán and plans to send its “military observers” to the upcoming parliamentary elections in Hungary.

In addition, during an interview with «The Atlantic», the Ukrainian ambassador sparked yet another scandal by reacting nervously to a humorous poster featuring Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The journalist pointed out a banner depicting the Ukrainian leader, visible from the window of the Ukrainian embassy, to which the Ukrainian ambassador remarked: “Perhaps in the next election, Zelenskyy will become president of Hungary,” said F. Sandor.

[Source: eurointegration.com]

The desecration of national symbols, as well as the attempt to influence the domestic political situation on the eve of the country’s parliamentary elections, has been met with disapproval by Hungarian society, further straining the already difficult diplomatic relations between the two countries. Undoubtedly, F. Szandor’s actions will have long-term legal and political consequences for the Ukrainian mission.

Kraken will allow customers to convert cryptocurrency into cash at MoneyGram locations across more than 100 countries, addressing a longstanding gap in the digital asset ecosystem, according to an exclusive report from Fortune.

The partnership gives Kraken users access to nearly 500,000 physical locations worldwide, where they can exchange crypto holdings for local currency. The move targets a key friction point in crypto markets: while digital transfers settle with speed, converting assets into cash often involves multiple steps, limited banking access, or delays.

The initiative reflects rising demand for reliable cash access, driven in part by Kraken’s expanding presence in regions with unstable currencies.

Kraken co-CEO Arjun Sethi told Fortune that demand for reliable cash access has grown alongside the exchange’s international user base, especially in regions with unstable currencies. In those markets, users often treat crypto platforms as alternatives to banks.

“They want to store in USD or USD equivalent,” Sethi said. “They want to get yield. They want to do payments. They want to move money back and forth.”

That usage pattern creates a need for dependable off-ramps into cash. Through the MoneyGram network, Kraken users can bridge digital balances with local currency pickup, paying a variable exchange fee tied to each transaction.

The deal also marks a strategic shift for MoneyGram, a legacy payments company that has worked to modernize its operations after losing ground to fintech firms and digital banks. The company has focused on integrating digital assets into its infrastructure as part of a broader effort to reposition its business.

MoneyGram is dabbling with crypto

MoneyGram has spent recent years building crypto infrastructure, including a noncustodial wallet and deeper integration of stablecoins into its payment flows. The company has positioned stablecoins as a backbone for cross-border transfers, aiming to reduce costs and settlement delays tied to traditional rails. A private equity acquisition in 2023 gave the firm room to pursue that transformation outside public markets.

For Kraken, the deal adds to a period of expansion as it prepares for a potential public listing. The exchange has broadened its product suite beyond spot crypto trading, acquiring futures platform NinjaTrader and derivatives venue Bitnomial. Those moves reflect a strategy to compete across asset classes while strengthening its appeal to both institutional and retail users.

Despite its institutional focus, Kraken’s growth in emerging markets has shaped product priorities. Access to cash remains critical in economies where banking infrastructure lacks reach or trust.

The tie-up with MoneyGram signals a convergence between crypto platforms and traditional financial networks, where physical locations still play a key role. It also highlights how adoption depends not only on digital innovation, but on practical access to money in everyday form.

Kraken has not disclosed a full timeline for global rollout or its IPO plans, though it filed draft registration documents in late 2025.

A bridge can connect two systems. It can also decide which traffic is allowed to cross.

In January, I published “The Tokenization of Everything.” The argument was not that blockchain is evil or that every tokenized asset is a control device. The argument was narrower and more dangerous: once property, money, credentials, and access rights are converted into programmable digital instruments inside a regulated, bank-integrated ecosystem, ownership quietly mutates into conditional permission.

Tokens are not neutral representations of property. They are code that can be designed to expire, freeze, restrict, or revoke based on compliance scores, policy triggers, or algorithmic rules set somewhere upstream. I named the legislative scaffolding — the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act — and the institutional cheerleaders, from BlackRock’s Larry Fink to then–Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. The warning was structural: a subscription society where durable property rights are replaced by revocable permissions, and where opting out becomes impractical because the rails of daily life run through the new system.

In February, I published “The Proof of Persona: Decoding Patent 060606.” That essay went one layer deeper. Microsoft’s published patent application WO2020060606A1 describes a cryptocurrency system in which a task is issued to a user device, a sensor captures body activity, the resulting data is transformed into a compact proof, and a cryptocurrency reward is issued if the proof satisfies validity conditions defined by the system. The patent publication explicitly contemplates that a user can solve the validation problem “unconsciously.”

The point was not that this system is currently deployed. The point was that someone considered it feasible enough to file: a published blueprint for moving the credential from what you do to what your body does — proof-of-work to proof-of-response to proof-of-compliance. I called it the hash of the soul, and I argued that the deepest battle is not technical but metaphysical: whether persons are real prior to systems, or whether personhood is a status conferred by what a validation server can read and certify.

The two pieces, taken together, sketched a stack:

Layer 1 — Programmable assets. Property, money, securities, and services rendered into tokens that obey rules embedded by issuers, custodians, and regulators.

Layer 2 — Programmable persona. Identity, eligibility, attention, and eventually body-derived signals rendered into ledger-native attestations that condition access to Layer 1.

I argued that the danger of the stack is not in any single feature but in the convergence: a world in which both your assets and your standing are entries in a controlled ledger, and where the ledger doesn’t have to ask what you believe — only whether your wallet, your credential, or your body produced an acceptable profile.

That was the warning.

This is the rollout.

What DTCC Just Announced

On May 4, 2026, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation announced that its subsidiary, The Depository Trust Company, will facilitate initial, limited production trades of tokenized real-world securities in July 2026, with a planned full service launch in October 2026. The service has been developed with input from more than fifty financial industry firms. The published working group is not a marginal coalition. It is, in effect, the spine of the U.S. financial system plus the institutional crypto layer:

Major banks: J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Citi, Wells Fargo, HSBC, BNP Paribas, UBS, State Street, BlackRock, RBC Capital Markets, TD Securities, Lloyds Bank.

Asset managers and clearing/custody: BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, Invesco, Charles Schwab, Apex Clearing, Broadridge, FIS, SEI, BetaNXT.

Market makers and brokerages: Citadel Securities, DRW, Virtu Financial, Jefferies, StoneX, Robinhood, TradeStation, Raymond James, Marex.

Exchanges and trading venues: Nasdaq, NYSE Group, Tradeweb, EDX Markets, Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange.

Crypto-native infrastructure: Circle (issuer of USDC), Anchorage Digital, BitGo Bank & Trust, Fireblocks, Ondo Finance, Ripple Prime, Payward (parent of Kraken), Digital Asset (creators of the Canton Network), Talos, Bitwave, Backpack.

The eligible assets are not fringe instruments. They are the bloodstream of U.S. capital markets:

Russell 1000 constituents (the largest U.S. publicly traded equities)

ETFs tracking major indices

U.S. Treasury bills, bonds, and notes

DTCC says The Depository Trust Company currently custodies more than $114 trillion in assets, and that DTCC’s subsidiaries collectively processed securities transactions valued at $4.7 quadrillion in 2025. The Federal Reserve identifies DTC as a central securities depository and securities settlement system, and lists it among the financial market utilities that the Financial Stability Oversight Council has designated as systemically important.

The service rests on a December 2025 SEC no-action letter authorizing DTC to offer a defined tokenization service for DTC Participants and their clients for three years, subject to representations and limitations. A no-action letter is not a statutory rewrite — the SEC staff explicitly noted that the response was based on the facts presented, did not necessarily endorse DTC’s legal conclusions, and could be modified or revoked. So the documented claim is not “the entire securities market is now tokenized.” The documented claim is this: the systemically important securities depository at the center of U.S. post-trade infrastructure has received regulatory cover to launch a regulated tokenization service for the most liquid assets in the country, and it has fifty of the world’s largest financial institutions in the working group.

That alone would be significant.

What makes it the rollout I warned about is the design.

“Same Rights” Wrapped Around a New Control Surface

DTCC’s public framing emphasizes continuity. Tokenized assets, the company says, will carry the same legal and economic rights, investor protections, and ownership entitlements as the underlying securities held in traditional form.

This is not corporate spin, and it deserves to be stated at its strongest. The SEC no-action letter is explicit on the point. DTC’s request letter, which the SEC published as an attachment to the staff response, states that “a Tokenization Instruction would not change the legal framework governing the Participant’s holdings of the Subject Securities. The Participant would (until it transfers the Tokens) remain the entitlement holder with a security entitlement to the Subject Securities subject to the full suite of Article 8’s provisions and protections.” Corporate actions, including cash dividends, would be processed exactly as they are for traditional book-entry holdings. Whatever voting rights and economic entitlements the underlying Russell 1000 stock or ETF carries today, the tokenized version carries tomorrow.

That matters. It distinguishes DTCC’s service from the rights-stripping critique that gets aimed at certain crypto-native “tokenized equity” platforms. This is not a memecoin with a marketing deck. The legal entitlement to the underlying security survives tokenization in full.

So the institutional reassurance is real on its own terms. The question is whether legal-rights continuity is the right frame for evaluating what is actually being built.

But the architecture documented in the SEC’s December 11, 2025 no-action letter — and in the underlying request letter from DTC, which the SEC published as an attachment — tells a different story.

The no-action letter establishes the following as documented features of the program. DTC will retain a “root wallet” on each approved blockchain, with keys that, in the letter’s own language, allow DTC to “convert, transfer, mint, or burn any of the Tokens, even without the private key for the Registered Wallet.” DTC’s broader tokenization service materials describe an expanded set of administrative controls — including Clawback, Pause/Unpause, and Freeze/Unfreeze — implemented through compliance-aware token standards such as ERC 3643, which DTC explicitly names in the request letter as one of the protocols it has identified as compliance-aware. A monitoring system called LedgerScan — an off-chain, cloud-based DTCC software that resides in a public cloud and scans the underlying blockchains — will track token movements and Registered Wallet holdings in near real time. And the line that matters most, lifted verbatim from the no-action letter: “For purposes of recording Tokenization Entitlements, LedgerScan’s record would constitute DTC’s official books and records.“

To put the architecture plainly — this is my own paraphrase — what is being built is an asset that DTC can convert, transfer, mint, or burn at will through a root wallet; that can only move between wallets the institution has approved; on blockchains the institution has approved; under tokenization protocols the institution has certified as “compliance aware” with “distribution control” and “transaction reversibility”; whose movements are visible to DTC in near real time through an off-chain cloud system; whose official ownership record is not the public chain but DTC’s own LedgerScan ledger; and where every wallet permitted to hold the asset has been independently sanctions-screened by DTC against the Office of Foreign Assets Control list.

That is precisely the structure I described in Part I, now built into the official securities layer.

The legal wrapper says: same rights, same protections, same entitlements.

The technical wrapper says: programmable, reversible, freezable, and permissioned by design.

Both are true at once. That is the point.

The legal entitlement may remain intact while the technical wrapper introduces permissioning, reversibility, monitoring, and override authority.

The Compliance-Aware Protocol Is the Chokepoint

The SEC no-action letter is more revealing than the press release.

According to the staff letter, any DTC Participant wishing to use the tokenization service must register one or more blockchain addresses as a Registered Wallet on an approved network. Tokens may be transferred only between Registered Wallets. DTC determines which blockchains are approved, which protocols are acceptable, and which standards are supported.

Most importantly, in order for DTC to support a tokenization protocol, DTC must determine that the protocol is “compliance aware” — and the letter defines what that means with admirable clarity. A compliance-aware protocol must support distribution control (preventing the token from moving to any address that is not a Registered Wallet) and transaction reversibility (allowing DTC to force-convert or transfer the token using a “root wallet” when conditions warrant reversal).

Translate that out of regulatory English:

The asset can only travel inside the approved perimeter.

The protocol must structurally prevent the asset from leaving the perimeter.

The institution retains a root key that can override the chain.

Reversal is a feature, not a bug.

Every wallet authorized to operate is independently sanctions-screened by DTC against the Office of Foreign Assets Control list before it is permitted to participate.

The no-action letter also states verbatim: “At all times, the registered ownership of the Subject Securities represented by a Tokenized Entitlement would not change; the Subject Securities would remain registered in the name of Cede & Co., DTC’s nominee.” Tokenization is not an escape from the existing indirect-holding system. It is a new digital representation inside that system, with new control affordances bolted on.

This is the architecture in operational form. The token is not a sovereign bearer asset in the romantic crypto sense. It is a tokenized entitlement, tied to a custodied security, held in an approved wallet, on an approved chain, under a compliance-aware protocol, recorded on an institutional ledger that constitutes the official record.

The polite name for this is “bridge between TradFi and DeFi.” That is DTCC’s own phrase. But a bridge is not neutral when all traffic must pass through controlled lanes. A bridge can connect. It can also filter, toll, audit, reverse, freeze, and exclude. The infrastructure choice is the political choice. Once the bridge is the only path, the bridge-keeper is the sovereign.

It can also decide which traffic is allowed to cross.

This Is What I Meant by “Conditional Access”

In Part I, I argued that the deep danger of tokenization is the conversion of ownership into access — possession into a system-recognized entitlement. Critics suggested I was extrapolating beyond the evidence. As of May 4, the extrapolation has documentation.

Consider what DTCC’s design actually says about the future of “ownership”:

The legal entitlement is preserved, but its exercise depends entirely on the system’s recognition of your wallet, your protocol, and your standing.

Your equity position exists as a token in a Registered Wallet, not in your name.

Movement of that token is restricted to other Registered Wallets, by protocol.

A monitoring system tracks every transfer in near real time.

The institution can pause, freeze, claw back, or force-transfer the token if conditions defined upstream are met.

The official record of who owns what is not the chain — it is the institution’s ledger system.

The public chain may show movement, but the official record belongs to the institution that recognizes the entitlement.

That is the textbook definition of conditional access. The asset is yours — until it isn’t. The token moves — until it doesn’t. The chain is open — except where it isn’t.

This is not yet a Chinese-style social credit overlay on U.S. capital markets, and I am not claiming it is. There is no public evidence that DTCC is currently linking securities ownership to political behavior, vaccination status, ESG scores, or biometric attestations. What I am claiming is narrower and therefore stronger: the architecture now contains every mechanism that such an overlay would require. Approved chains. Approved wallets. Compliance-aware protocols. Reversibility. Root-wallet override. Near-real-time surveillance. An official institutional record that supersedes the public ledger.

The features may be defended as fraud prevention, error correction, sanctions compliance, and recovery. Of course they will be. That is exactly how technocracy is sold — not as control, but as protection. Not as a coup, but as an upgrade. As one commenter on Part II put it: like a thief in the night.

The civil-liberties question is not whether a compliance rationale exists. The question is what happens when ownership itself becomes inseparable from a programmable compliance envelope, and when the envelope is operated by a single systemically important utility at the center of the world’s largest capital market.

Where DTCC Closes Loop 1 — and Prepares the Rail for Loop 2

This is where the third installment must do work the first two could not.

In Part I, I described the asset layer. In Part II, I described the persona layer — soulbound tokens, ledger-native attestations, biometric and physiological proofs that turn identity, reputation, and eventually body activity into on-chain credentials. The two layers were treated as parallel. They are not parallel. They are sequential.

Programmable assets are useless without a credential layer that decides who may hold them.

Today, DTCC’s “credential layer” is institutional: a wallet is registered because a DTC Participant — a regulated bank, broker, or custodian — vouches for it under existing KYC/AML obligations. That is the conventional gate. But once Registered Wallets become the only legitimate carriers of tokenized stocks, ETFs, and Treasuries, the question of what attestations a wallet must satisfy to be eligible becomes the entire game.

It is a short logical step from:

“This wallet is registered because a DTC Participant verified the holder’s identity under KYC.”

to:

“This wallet is registered because the holder has presented attestations of identity, residency, accreditation, sanctions standing, and tax status.”

to:

“This wallet is registered because the holder has presented ledger-native, soulbound, or body-derived attestations satisfying the system’s eligibility schema.”

Each step is sold as a security or compliance upgrade. None of them require a single new statute. They require only that the existing rail — Registered Wallets, approved chains, compliance-aware protocols — be extended to accept richer credentials over time. The credentials that Part II warned about are precisely the kind of attestations that would slot naturally into a Registered Wallet model.

Layer 1 controls the asset. Layer 2 decides who is eligible to touch it.

I am not claiming this integration is happening today. I am claiming the rail is now built such that it can. That is the difference between speculation and rollout. Speculation says: this could happen. Rollout says: the institutional infrastructure required for it to happen has been authorized, scheduled, and resourced, with fifty of the world’s largest financial firms in the working group and a Wall Street clearinghouse running point.

Once Layer 1 is live, Layer 2 has somewhere to plug in.

The Internet of Bodies Has a Settlement Layer Now

In Part II, I cited RAND’s work on the Internet of Bodies — the growing class of devices that monitor human physiology, transmit data over networks, and collect personal information whose ownership and governance remain unsettled. I cited the engineering literature on the Internet of Bio-Nano Things. I cited the OpenAI/Jony Ive hardware vector and HHS Secretary Kennedy’s stated goal of universal wearable adoption within four years. I cited TESCREAL and the Santa Fe Institute’s “engineering crypto-economies” work, with Thiel-foundation patronage in the background. The argument was that the body is being progressively wired as the next interface layer, and that “participation” is migrating from clicks toward physiological signatures.

Without a programmable financial settlement layer, all of that biometric infrastructure is just data extraction.

With one, it becomes governance.

DTCC has now announced the settlement layer.

I want to be precise: DTCC is not building the Internet of Bodies. DTCC is not implementing Microsoft’s WO2020060606A1. DTCC is not collecting biometric data. The connection I am drawing is architectural, not corporate. It is the same connection I drew in Part I about money and assets, and in Part II about identity and physiology: modern systems are not built as isolated silos. They are built as stacks. A programmable financial substrate, an emerging biometric credential layer, AI-mediated risk scoring, and ledger-native attestations do not have to share a corporate parent to become mutually reinforcing. They only have to share interface standards.

DTCC’s tokenization service introduces those standards into the official financial core. Approved chains. Approved wallets. Compliance-aware protocols. An institutional ledger of record. The rest of the stack is being assembled in parallel — by other firms, in other industries, under other regulators — and the interfaces are converging.

The Internet of Bodies, in other words, now has a place to settle.

Body-derived data becomes governance only when it can be connected to access, eligibility, and settlement.

What This Does Not Prove

Because the temptation in this terrain is to overshoot, let me be explicit about the boundary between evidence, interpretation, and projection.

What the evidence shows:

DTCC’s announcement of a tokenization service for DTC-custodied securities, with limited production in July 2026 and a planned launch in October 2026.

A working group of more than fifty firms, including the largest U.S. banks, asset managers, market makers, brokerages, exchanges, and crypto-native infrastructure providers — published by name in DTCC’s release.

An eligible asset set covering Russell 1000 constituents, major-index ETFs, and U.S. Treasuries.

An SEC staff no-action letter, issued December 11, 2025, authorizing the service for three years under defined conditions.

DTC’s retained authority via a “root wallet” on each approved blockchain, with keys that — in the no-action letter’s own language — allow DTC to “convert, transfer, mint, or burn any of the Tokens, even without the private key for the Registered Wallet.” DTCC’s tokenization service materials describe an expanded set of administrative controls (Clawback, Pause/Unpause, Freeze/Unfreeze) implemented through compliance-aware token standards such as ERC 3643, which DTC explicitly names in the request letter.

Registered Wallets, approved blockchains, “compliance aware” tokenization protocols with documented “distribution control” and “transaction reversibility” requirements (terms used verbatim in DTC’s request letter).

Independent OFAC sanctions screening by DTC on every Registered Wallet before it is permitted to operate.

Near-real-time surveillance of token movements via LedgerScan, an off-chain DTCC software system residing in a public cloud, whose record constitutes DTC’s official books and records.

Continued registration of underlying securities in the name of Cede & Co., DTC’s nominee.

What the evidence does not prove:

That every U.S. security will be tokenized.

That DTCC is presently linking securities ownership to social credit, vaccine status, carbon scores, biometric verification, or political compliance.

That Microsoft’s WO2020060606A1 has been deployed or integrated with any market infrastructure. (Google Patents currently lists the WO publication’s legal status is listed as ‘ceased’ on Google Patents (a reflection of PCT international-stage expiration, not necessarily abandonment of the underlying invention).

That the July 2026 limited production trades will themselves transform the market.

That any individual firm in the working group is pursuing the architectural extensions I have described.

What I am interpreting:

That the design choices documented above — taken together, in the institution that sits at the center of U.S. post-trade infrastructure — constitute the operational rollout of the asset layer I described in Part I, and the rail-laying for the persona layer I described in Part II.

That this is the moment when “tokenization of everything” stops being a thesis at the speculative edge of crypto and becomes part of the official market plumbing.

That the public framing of the project (”same rights,” “investor protection,” “operational efficiency”) is functioning, whether by design or by drift, as a normalization mechanism for programmable compliance.

That is enough to warrant scrutiny. It does not require maximalist claims to be alarming.

The Polite Language of Enclosure

The rollout will not be sold as control. It will be sold as efficiency, liquidity, transparency, investor protection, fraud prevention, security, interoperability, and modernization. DTCC’s own materials describe the service in those terms, and some of those benefits may be genuine. That is precisely why the rollout is powerful.

Control systems that offer no convenience are easy to refuse. Control systems that offer 24/7 settlement, fractionalization, automation, capital efficiency, and access to new financial services are adopted voluntarily until opting out becomes impractical. Then they are adopted by institutional momentum. Then they become required for ordinary participation in markets, retirement accounts, payrolls, mortgages, and brokerage relationships. Then the question of whether you “consent” to programmable, freezable, reversible ownership becomes academic, because the alternative has been quietly retired.

This is the lesson Part I tried to surface and Part II tried to deepen: the cage is not built by coercion. It is built by dependency. Programmable infrastructure does not need to be tyrannical to make tyranny technically easy, administratively elegant, and rhetorically defensible. The control surface is the point. The control surface is what the public does not see, because the public is told to look at the rights, the protections, the entitlements, the modernization, the convenience.

The control surface is what I have been writing about for two articles.

It now has a launch date.

The Question Hiding Inside the Technical One

The argument over tokenization is usually framed as engineering: blockchain versus databases, settlement speed, smart contracts, market modernization. Beneath the engineering is a political question, and beneath the political question is a metaphysical one — the same one I named in Part II.

Do persons exist prior to the system, or are persons constituted by it?

Does property precede the ledger, or does the ledger confer property?

Are rights inherent in the human person, or are they permissions issued by a validation regime that decides which wallets, which credentials, and which signatures qualify?

The Declaration of Independence has an answer. Its argument presupposes an order of being that political power does not manufacture: persons are real in themselves, dignity is intrinsic, rights are not granted by the state. A realist metaphysics of this kind is the one ground on which programmable enclosure can be refused, because it insists on a layer of reality the system cannot author.

The opposing view — the one quietly encoded into every “compliance-aware” protocol, every soulbound credential schema, every body-derived proof system — is that the human person is a pattern emerging from sub-personal variables, that the measurable is the most real, and that the most real is the most governable. Under that story, the validation server is not pretending to confer standing. It is simply registering it. Personhood becomes an attestation. Property becomes an entry. Standing becomes a permission.

DTCC’s tokenization service does not, by itself, settle that question.

But it operationalizes the answer that one side of the question prefers.

The Architecture Is Not Yet Closed

The rollout is scheduled, but it is not finished. The SEC no-action letter expires in three years and, in the letter’s own language, “is subject to modification or revocation by the Staff at any time.” Production trades do not begin until July. The full launch is not until October. Every interface in the stack — the approved-chain list, the certified protocols, the wallet credential schema, the compliance-aware standards — is still being defined. None of this is locked in yet. The architecture is being built, but the design space is still open.

That is where the leverage is.

The SEC no-action letter itself. The relief is not a statute. It is staff discretion, granted under defined representations, subject to modification or revocation. Public comment to the Division of Trading and Markets and to the Commission’s public comment channels is the most direct lever there is. As of this writing, the SEC has only three sitting commissioners — Chair Paul Atkins, Hester Peirce, and Mark Uyeda, all Republicans — following Caroline Crenshaw’s departure in January 2026, which left both Democratic seats vacant. The dissenting voice that historically pushed back on architectures like this one is no longer at the table. That makes public pressure on the remaining commissioners, on whoever is eventually nominated to fill the open Democratic seats, and on the Division of Trading and Markets staff who issued the no-action letter, more important rather than less. Comments anchored in the technical architecture — root-wallet authority, force-transfer, LedgerScan as the official record, OFAC screening of every wallet — will carry more weight than generic anti-crypto sentiment, because the architectural concerns are the genuinely novel ones the Staff has not publicly reckoned with.

And I have watched this work firsthand. In late 2023, I sounded the alarm across multiple shows — including Infowars — about the NYSE’s proposed rule (SR-NYSE-2023-09) to list Natural Asset Companies, a vehicle that would have allowed private capital, including foreign-controlled sovereign wealth funds, to monetize “ecosystem services” on American public, private, and tribal land. The day after one such appearance, the NYSE withdrew the proposal. It was not me alone — thirty state financial officers had filed a comment letter, the House Natural Resources Committee had opened a probe, and a broad coalition had been organizing for months — but it was a coordinated public-pressure campaign that succeeded, and I had a documented role in it. The withdrawal landed on January 17, 2024, the day before the extended comment deadline closed. The proposal does not exist today because the public showed up. The same window is open here.

Congressional oversight of systemically important utilities. DTC was designated a SIFMU under Title VIII of Dodd-Frank, which carries oversight authority through the Senate Banking and House Financial Services committees. The members who voted for the GENIUS and CLARITY Acts are now on the hook for the downstream architecture those bills enabled. Hearings can be demanded. Documents can be requested. The specific carve-outs from Section 17A of the Exchange Act, Reg SCI, and Rule 19b-4 that the no-action letter grants — the rule-filing exemption, the Reg SCI exemption, the Rule 17ad-25 exemption — can be scrutinized in public, which is precisely the scrutiny the no-action mechanism was designed to avoid.

State law is still operative. This is the leverage point most people miss. Article 8 of the Uniform Commercial Code — which the no-action letter explicitly relies on as the bedrock of the participant’s preserved entitlement — is state law, not federal. DTC is a New York limited purpose trust company. State legislatures, particularly Delaware (where most public corporations are domiciled), Texas, and Florida (which have been actively legislating on property-rights and anti-CBDC frameworks), can pass clarifying statutes — for example, requiring that any force-transfer of a securities entitlement occur only by court order, or that a non-programmable book-entry alternative be permanently maintained for any tokenized security. New York DFS has direct jurisdiction over DTC’s trust status. Federal preemption arguments are real, but they are far from absolute on questions of property law, fiduciary duty, and consumer protection.

Issuer pushback. The Russell 1000 companies whose shares are about to be wrapped in programmable, freezable, force-transferable tokens have not been asked. They are the issuers. They have shareholder relationships, transfer agent contracts, and board fiduciary duties that arguably should weigh whether their securities get folded into a permissioned compliance envelope — even if the underlying legal entitlement is preserved. A handful of CEO or board statements requesting carve-outs, or demanding plain-English disclosure to retail shareholders before any of their stock is tokenized, would change the politics quickly. Shareholder proposals submitted under SEC Rule 14a-8, paired with vote recommendations from the dominant proxy advisors (ISS and Glass Lewis), are the formal vehicle for putting tokenization eligibility in front of the board on the annual ballot.

Participant opt-out. The service is voluntary at the DTC Participant level. Charles Schwab, Robinhood, Fidelity, Vanguard, and every other broker-dealer and custodian on the working group roster choose whether to register wallets and route client securities through them. Each one can also commit to maintaining a permanent non-tokenized custody option for retail customers who want one. Direct pressure on the firms whose brand identity is built on retail empowerment is the fastest market-based lever available, and it does not require any regulator to act first.

The intellectual fight. Every line of code in this stack is being written by humans who answer to professional and reputational incentives. Sustained, serious, fact-based critique — the kind that lands on the desks of the lawyers writing request letters, the engineers writing protocol standards, and the commissioners voting on relief — changes the design space within which the next iteration is built. Most of the choices in this rollout were made under the assumption that the public would not notice the difference between “same rights” and “programmable rights.” That assumption is the soft underbelly.

What I would not bet on is the idea that a parallel decentralized system will simply route around all of this. The regulatory framework being built — the OFAC-screened wallet model, the compliance-aware protocol requirement, the GENIUS and CLARITY rails for stablecoins and tokenized deposits — is specifically engineered to narrow the parallel system over time, not enlarge it. The fight is not at the edges of the system. It is at the center, before the center hardens.

There is a deadline. The first production trades begin in July. Every leverage point above is exercised before the architecture sets, or it is exercised against an architecture that is already running. The window is open. It will not stay open indefinitely.

Conclusion: The Ledger Is Becoming the Law

The central issue is not blockchain. It never was. The central issue is whether the architecture of ownership — and eventually of personhood — is being rebuilt around programmable compliance, with control surfaces concentrated in institutions that the public neither elected nor effectively oversees.

DTCC’s announcement shows the institutional layer of that rebuild moving from concept to schedule. The systemically important depository at the center of U.S. capital markets, with $114 trillion in custody and a working group spanning the largest banks, asset managers, market makers, and crypto-native infrastructure providers in the world, is preparing to support tokenized entitlements, registered wallets, approved chains, near-real-time surveillance, compliance-aware protocols, and reversible token controls under the legal framing of “same rights, same protections.”

That is not a conspiracy theory. That is the documented architecture, as published by DTCC and as authorized by the SEC’s December 2025 no-action letter.

The interpretation is mine, and I will own it: this is the institutional rollout of the asset layer I warned about in “The Tokenization of Everything,” and it is the rail on which the persona layer described in “The Proof of Persona” will eventually run. Neither piece of the stack is fully assembled. Both are being built. The question is no longer whether tokenization is coming, but who is writing the rules of the tokenized world — and whether human beings retain rights inside it, or merely permissions.

Once ownership is programmable, the fight is no longer over markets.

It is over sovereignty.

It is over what a person is.

It is over whether the ledger can rightfully become the referee of standing — or whether there remains, behind every measurement and every attestation, a human being who is real before the system reads them.

The rollout begins in July.

The argument cannot wait.

There are moments in history when the world changes with noise — sirens, speeches, falling statues. And then there are moments when it changes so quietly that almost nobody realizes it is happening. We are living through the second kind. No formal announcement marked the transition. No historic summit collapsed on live television. No leader stepped forward to say: the old rules no longer apply. And yet, somewhere between the war in Ukraine, the tightening strategic alignment between Russia and China, and the silent expiration of the New START in February 2026, the global system that kept great-power rivalry inside predictable boundaries began to dissolve. Not explode. Dissolve.

For decades, the world’s stability did not come from trust. It came from limits. From inspection regimes. From numbers written into treaties. From the strange comfort of knowing exactly how dangerous your adversary was allowed to be. Military planners in Moscow and Washington worked with ceilings. Diplomats worked with verification schedules. Leaders worked with red lines that had legal meaning. Those ceilings are now gone, and most of the public has not noticed because nothing dramatic happened the day they disappeared.

“They said it could never happen… but it did.”

Within hours, power grids failed, water stopped, and communication went silent. What followed wasn’t chaos—but a slow, terrifying realization: no one was coming.

A shocking video that reveals just how fragile everything really is… and what happens when it all disappears.

The Strategic Triangle That No Longer Moves

For years, American strategists believed the triangle between Washington, Moscow, and Beijing could be manipulated. If relations with one deteriorated, the other could be courted. It was the logic behind the Cold War opening to China and the repeated attempts to “reset” relations with Moscow. There was a quiet confidence that Russia, culturally tied to Europe and historically wary of China, would never fully lean toward Beijing.

That confidence now looks misplaced.

Today, the United States faces not two separate rivals but two powers whose interests increasingly overlap:

Both view American sanctions as a weapon of political coercion

Both seek to dilute U.S. influence in global institutions

Both advocate a “multipolar” order where Washington’s dominance fades

Both benefit from closer economic and strategic coordination

This is not a formal alliance, which paradoxically makes it more durable. It is not built on ideology or treaty obligations but on a shared reading of the world. Even a future change in leadership after Vladimir Putin may not reverse this direction. Years of sanctions, NATO expansion, and the war in Ukraine have reshaped Russian political psychology. The turn toward China is no longer tactical. It is structural.

The Day the Guardrails Disappeared

On February 5, 2026, New START expired. There was no emergency summit. No dramatic breakdown in negotiations. It simply ended.

For the first time since the early 1970s, there is no binding agreement limiting how many deployed strategic nuclear weapons the U.S. and Russia can field. Together, they hold the overwhelming majority of the world’s nuclear warheads. During the Cold War, even at moments of extreme tension, both sides maintained arms control agreements because they served a critical purpose: they made the enemy measurable. You could count warheads. You could inspect launchers. You could verify data.

Now, you cannot.

Russia suggested informally that both sides observe the old limits for another year to allow time for talks. Washington did not formally accept. No replacement treaty emerged. No urgent negotiations dominated the news cycle. The expiration passed like a date on a calendar, but inside defense ministries, the conversation shifted. Without legal ceilings, planners no longer ask what are we allowed to deploy? but what can we deploy? That is how arms races begin — quietly, through planning assumptions rather than political declarations.

A Pattern of Pressure in Unlikely Places

While most attention remains on Ukraine and nuclear policy, Moscow has been testing American reactions in places that rarely make front pages.

The Western Hemisphere

Near Venezuela, a U.S. Coast Guard seizure of a Russian-flagged tanker suspected of sanctions violations brought American and Russian forces into unusual proximity. Russian naval assets, reportedly including a submarine, were operating nearby. Moscow denounced the move as piracy. The incident did not escalate, but it revealed a willingness to challenge U.S. authority in its own neighborhood through presence and ambiguity rather than confrontation.

The High North

In the Arctic, melting ice is opening the Northern Sea Route into a viable trade corridor between Europe and Asia. Russia controls much of this passage and positions itself as its gatekeeper. China’s interest in what it calls a Polar Silk Road adds another layer of leverage for Moscow without a single shot being fired.

The Middle East

In crises involving Iran, Russia has condemned Western actions but avoided direct military involvement, constrained by the demands of the war in Ukraine. Even so, Moscow continues to present itself diplomatically as an alternative power center to Washington, choosing its moments carefully.

Multipolarity as a Strategic Weapon

In international forums, Moscow and Beijing repeat the same phrase: multipolar world. It sounds abstract and even reasonable, but strategically it signals a shift away from the system in which the United States could enforce rules through economic and institutional power. In a multipolar system, sanctions lose effectiveness, institutions become arenas of gridlock, and regional powers gain more freedom to challenge established norms without immediate consequences.

There is no secret pact binding Russia and China into a military bloc. But patterns are visible. China purchases discounted Russian energy. Russia benefits from China’s refusal to isolate it diplomatically. Joint exercises occur. Messaging aligns in international institutions. This is not conspiracy. It is convergence, and over time, convergence reshapes the balance of power as effectively as formal alliances.

A World Without Clear Edges

For American policymakers, the problem is new and uncomfortable. Deterring one nuclear peer was the central challenge of the Cold War. Deterring two, at the same time, is a strategic puzzle without historical precedent. How do you prepare for simultaneous crises in Europe and the Pacific? How do you distribute forces without weakening credibility in either theater?

The answers are unclear, and that uncertainty is itself destabilizing. What makes this period unsettling is not the presence of immediate crisis but the absence of clear boundaries. No arms control limits. No clean separation between economic and military rivalry. No reliable assumptions about how far competitors are willing to go.

Speak privately with diplomats or analysts, and you hear the same quiet phrase repeated: this feels different. Not louder. Different. The stabilizing mechanisms built over fifty years are eroding faster than new ones can replace them, and the world is drifting into a phase where miscalculation becomes more likely simply because the rules that once structured rivalry no longer exist.

The Geography of Escalation

What makes the current geopolitical shift so difficult to grasp is that its most consequential developments are not unfolding in spectacular acts of confrontation, but through a slow accumulation of pressure points that, taken together, redraw the strategic map of the world. The new contest for power is no longer concentrated in obvious flashpoints alone; it is spreading across trade routes, technological infrastructure, energy corridors, and regions once treated as peripheral to great-power rivalry.

Its defining characteristics are becoming increasingly clear:

Strategic competition is expanding into spaces once considered neutral, from Arctic maritime corridors and orbital infrastructure to undersea cables and semiconductor supply chains that now carry the weight of national security.

Economic interdependence is no longer viewed primarily as stabilizing, but increasingly as vulnerability — something states seek to weaponize, shield against, or strategically reduce.

Military deterrence is becoming more diffuse and unpredictable, shaped not only by nuclear arsenals, but by cyber capabilities, autonomous systems, and the ability to cripple critical infrastructure without firing a conventional shot.

Political fragmentation inside democracies has become an external strategic variable, as rivals increasingly calculate not only military strength, but institutional resilience, public fatigue, and the ability of societies to sustain prolonged competition.

This is what makes the moment historically unusual: the architecture of confrontation is becoming broader than war itself. Power is now projected through disruption, ambiguity, and exhaustion as much as through force, creating a landscape where crises may emerge not as singular explosions, but as overlapping pressures that slowly weaken the coherence of entire systems.

Where Stability Used to Live

For decades, global order depended on mechanisms that reduced uncertainty even when hostility remained intense. What held rivalry in check was not goodwill, but structure — the confidence that opponents understood thresholds, recognized consequences, and operated within a strategic grammar both sides could read. That grammar is now eroding, and with it disappears the predictability that once made dangerous competition manageable.

Several pillars have quietly weakened at once:

Arms-control architecture is fading faster than replacement frameworks can emerge, removing the legal and psychological ceilings that once constrained escalation.

Diplomatic channels remain open, but increasingly hollow, producing language of cooperation while substantive trust continues to deteriorate beneath the surface.

Alliance systems are strengthening militarily while becoming politically more complex, forcing governments to balance deterrence abroad with growing strain at home.

Strategic planning is increasingly dominated by worst-case assumptions, and once governments begin budgeting, deploying, and preparing around pessimistic scenarios, those scenarios begin shaping reality regardless of original intent.

This is how history often changes — not when one pillar falls, but when several begin cracking at once under accumulated weight.

The Century’s Harder Question

The central issue facing the world is no longer whether tension between major powers will define the coming decades; that much is already visible. The deeper question is what kind of competition is now being born, and whether political leadership is capable of understanding its scale before events begin dictating terms on their own.

What increasingly worries strategic analysts is a convergence of destabilizing trends:

Two nuclear peer competitors confronting Washington simultaneously, creating deterrence challenges without modern precedent.

A world economy fragmenting into competing technological and industrial blocs, where efficiency is sacrificed for resilience and security.

Critical infrastructure becoming a battlefield, from ports and power grids to satellite systems and digital finance architecture.

A widening gap between strategic reality and public perception, with governments quietly preparing for long-term confrontation while much of society still assumes the turbulence is temporary.

That disconnect may prove more dangerous than any single military crisis, because nations are often least prepared for transformation when they mistake structural change for passing instability. By the time reality becomes obvious, the balance of power has usually already shifted.

The Illusion of Distance

One of the most persistent misconceptions in periods of strategic transition is the belief that major geopolitical change remains distant until it becomes visible through unmistakable crisis. That assumption is comforting, but history rarely moves according to the emotional timelines societies prefer. By the time structural change becomes obvious to the public, it has usually been unfolding for years beneath the surface — inside defense budgets, industrial policy, intelligence assessments, shipping patterns, alliance planning, and the quiet recalibration of what states believe they may soon be forced to do. What appears sudden is often only the first moment ordinary people notice what governments have already spent years preparing for.

Several developments suggest that this deeper transition is no longer theoretical:

Military-industrial production is being reconsidered as a strategic necessity rather than an economic burden, with governments increasingly prioritizing ammunition stockpiles, shipbuilding capacity, rare-earth access, semiconductor sovereignty, and resilient supply chains that can withstand prolonged confrontation.

Energy has fully returned as an instrument of power, no longer merely a commodity traded on markets but a geopolitical lever capable of rewarding alignment, punishing dependence, and reshaping regional influence through pipelines, shipping routes, and long-term infrastructure partnerships.

Technology is being absorbed into national-security doctrine at unprecedented speed, turning artificial intelligence, quantum computing, satellite networks, cyber offense, and digital infrastructure into strategic assets whose control may define power as decisively as oil fields or naval fleets once did.

Neutral space is shrinking, as regions and states once able to balance relations between competing blocs increasingly face pressure to choose economic, technological, and strategic alignment in a world becoming less tolerant of ambiguity.

The cumulative effect is profound: global competition is no longer being organized around isolated disputes, but around a broader contest over who will shape the operating rules of the twenty-first century. That makes nearly every crisis larger than it first appears, because behind each confrontation sits a wider struggle over influence, leverage, and strategic endurance.

The Pressure That Does Not Break — Until It Does

What makes this era particularly dangerous is that it is not defined by one overwhelming shock, but by the gradual layering of tensions that, individually manageable, collectively create systemic strain. International order does not always fail because of catastrophic singular events; often it weakens because too many pressures build simultaneously until institutions lose the capacity to absorb them. That is the pattern increasingly visible today.

Among the most destabilizing pressures now converging are:

Persistent military confrontation in Europe, where the war in Ukraine has transformed from regional conflict into a long-term strategic contest reshaping NATO posture, Russian doctrine, European defense spending, and the broader military balance on the continent.

Rising strategic friction in the Indo-Pacific, where Taiwan, the South China Sea, maritime chokepoints, and expanding naval competition increasingly place the world’s economic center of gravity inside an active security dilemma.

Intensifying competition over critical resources, including rare earth minerals, industrial metals, advanced chips, and logistical infrastructure that underpin both civilian economies and modern military capability.

Growing vulnerability of interconnected systems, where attacks on communications networks, financial systems, power grids, satellite constellations, or maritime infrastructure could generate cascading disruption without a single formal declaration of war.

This is what gives the current moment its unusual gravity: escalation no longer needs to be deliberate to become real. It can emerge through overlap, accident, misreading, or exhaustion. A cyber disruption during a regional military standoff, an industrial blockade disguised as regulation, a maritime collision in contested waters, a sanctions spiral that unexpectedly fractures global markets — these are no longer improbable scenarios imagined in think-tank exercises. They are increasingly plausible outcomes in a world where strategic friction exists across too many domains at once.

The Cost of Misreading the Moment

Perhaps the greatest strategic danger is not aggression itself, but complacency — the tendency of societies, markets, and political systems to interpret structural instability as temporary turbulence rather than historic transition. The modern world is deeply conditioned to believe that shocks are disruptions to normality, after which normality returns. Yet some periods are not interruptions; they are turning points, moments when the previous equilibrium quietly expires and a harder reality begins taking shape.

The signs of that transition are already visible:

Governments are preparing for resilience rather than efficiency, favoring redundancy, domestic production, and strategic reserves over the economic logic that dominated globalization’s peak decades.

Defense planning horizons are expanding, with states investing not for immediate conflict alone, but for prolonged competition measured in decades rather than election cycles.

Strategic alliances are being reinforced not simply for deterrence, but for endurance, reflecting growing recognition that the defining challenge ahead may be sustained geopolitical pressure rather than singular confrontation.

Public awareness remains significantly behind elite strategic assessment, creating a dangerous disconnect between the scale of transformation underway and the political urgency with which societies respond to it.

History is often shaped not by the crises leaders expect, but by the ones they underestimate because the early warning signs appear too gradual to command attention. That is what makes this moment so consequential. The old order is not collapsing in spectacle, but in slow motion — treaty by treaty, assumption by assumption, safeguard by safeguard — while a more unstable world quietly assembles itself in its place, piece by piece, beneath the comforting appearance of continuity.

State Street Investment Management and Galaxy Asset Management have launched the State Street Galaxy Onchain Liquidity Sweep Fund (SWEEP), a tokenized cash-management vehicle for large investors.

SWEEP lets qualified institutional investors park stablecoins in a yield-generating fund that operates continuously on blockchain infrastructure, starting on Solana and expanding to Ethereum and Stellar.

The fund underscores Wall Street’s growing embrace of tokenized versions of traditional instruments, while keeping access limited to institutions as firms test blockchain-based market plumbing.

State Street Investment Management and Galaxy Asset Management (GLXY) have launched a tokenized fund designed to move a core piece of finance — cash management — onto blockchain networks, the firms said Tuesday.

The State Street Galaxy Onchain Liquidity Sweep Fund, trading under the ticker SWEEP, allows large investors to park stablecoins into a fund that generates yield, while keeping the ability to move in and out at any time. Unlike traditional money market funds that operate during market hours, the new structure runs continuously on blockchain infrastructure.

Would you pay 8 dollars for a gallon of gasoline? I know that may sound crazy to many of you, but that is what some residents of Los Angeles are paying right now. Sadly, the west coast is more dependent on oil from the Persian Gulf than anywhere else in the continental United States, and now the last tanker that departed before the war with Iran began has arrived. What this means is that gas prices are going to go even higher on the west coast. In fact, some gas stations may soon need to add another digit on their pumps in order to accommodate prices that are higher than $9.99 a gallon.

After President Trump announced the start of “Project Freedom”, a few commercial vessels decided that they would try to make it through the Strait of Hormuz.

Shortly thereafter, the Iranians began firing.

A South Korean cargo vessel was among those that were targeted…

A South Korean ship sailing near the Strait of Hormuz was attacked on Monday, according to the Korean media outlet Chosun Daily, citing a government official.

U.S. warships were targeted too, and in response the Navy destroyed 6 Iranian fast attack boats…

The U.S. attacked Iranian boats in the Strait of Hormuz on Monday after Tehran targeted Navy ships, threatening to upend a fragile ceasefire and President Donald Trump’s new vow to open the critical pathway.

The U.S. military “blew up” six small Iranian boats after its forces launched “multiple cruise missiles, drones and small boats” at the ships but did not hit them, according to U.S. Central Command head Adm. Bradley Cooper, who leads America’s operations in the region. He did not say what impact this would have on the ceasefire.

The Iranians have also launched at least 15 missiles and 4 drones at the United Arab Emirates…

United Arab Emirates air defences engaged 15 Iranian missiles and four drones, its defence ministry says.

That includes 12 ballistic missiles and three cruise missiles, injuring three people.

Most of the missiles and drones were intercepted, but it appears that a significant amount of damage was done at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone…

Flames also broke out at Fujairah Oil Industry Zone after a drone attack, which has left three Indian nationals with “moderate” injuries.

Plumes of dark smoke have been pummelling into the sky after the shock strike, some 80 miles from Dubai.

Needless to say, those running the UAE are extremely upset, and they are warning that they have a “full and legitimate right” to hit back…

The UAE’s foreign ministry said the attacks posed a direct threat to the nation’s security, adding that the UAE reserved its “full and legitimate right” to respond.

The ceasefire is dead, and that is really bad news for those that were hoping that gasoline prices would come down soon.

On Monday, it was being reported that the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States has now reached $4.45…

Gas prices are entering the summer driving season at record levels, with the national average hitting $4.45 on May 2—the highest ever for that date.

That’s up about $1.28 from a year ago, according to AAA, with prices rising across nearly every region.

Paying four and a half dollars a gallon is not the end of the world.

But in some parts of California, it is an entirely different story right now.

As I mentioned earlier, some residents of Los Angeles are now paying more than 8 dollars a gallon…

Long known for its sprawling freeways and car-centric lifestyle, Los Angeles is reaching a breaking point as fuel costs turn the simple act of driving into a “miserable, miserable, miserable” experience.

As regional gas prices soar past $8 a gallon, residents in the once-thriving Golden State are checking their eyes and their bank accounts, with some admitting they “thought it was a meme” or “thought it was AI.” But the financial pain is all too real for those living in the nation’s most expensive car culture, where filling a tank now requires a triple-digit investment.

“It’s very painful to drive in L.A. right now, and especially if you’re barely making minimum wage, it’s not even worth driving,” Amador, from Santa Clarita, told Fox News Digital during a man-on-the-street segment. “Thought it was a meme, thought it was AI, but looking at it up close, it’s kind of crazy to think you’re paying almost $9.”

That is crazy.

Sadly, gas prices in California could soon go a lot higher because “the final ship carrying oil from the Middle East” has reached the Port of Long Beach…

California is about to face the most brutal test of the gas crisis yet as the final ship carrying oil from the Middle East arrived in the Golden State.

The last oil tanker to pass through the Strait of Hormuz since the Iran war kicked off docked at the Port of Long Beach with two million barrels for gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.

Despite the West Coast being heavily reliant on fossil fuels out of the Persian Gulf due to crippling eco-policies from Gavin Newsom, there are no more vessels currently en route.

No more tankers from the Middle East will be arriving.

That is really bad news, because normally approximately 30 percent of California’s oil imports come from the Persian Gulf…

Last year, California refineries sourced around 30% of their foreign crude oil from the Persian Gulf, based on state data.

The Golden State is particularly vulnerable to war in the region as its status as an isolated energy island without gas pipelines has led it to increasingly rely on these imports.

The politicians in California didn’t want to build any pipelines.

Now they are going to pay a very great price for that decision.

Everyone was counting on a quick end to the war.

Now fighting has resumed, and I expect that this conflict will soon escalate dramatically.

But even if a miracle happens and some sort of a deal is reached, the Iranians are never going to allow traffic to flow through the Strait of Hormuz like it did before the war.

The Iranians have been very clear about the fact that they intend to manage traffic through the Strait of Hormuz from now on…

Statements have intensified following a message for National Persian Gulf Day attributed to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.

In the message, he described the strait as a “strategic asset” and outlined a vision for the region’s future as “a future without America,” emphasizing the importance of “Iranian management of the strait.”

Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf signaled the shift most clearly, linking current policy to both strategic doctrine and historical precedent.

“Today as well, by exercising management over the Strait of Hormuz, Iran will ensure that it and its neighbors enjoy the valuable prospect of a future free from the presence and interference of America,” he wrote on X.

If the Iranians are allowed to charge tolls and restrict who is allowed to use the Strait of Hormuz on a permanent basis, it will strangle the global economy for years to come.

But the only way to break Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz is by force.

Either option will have enormous consequences.

The bottom line is that we are still only in the very early stages of this crisis, and so the elevated gas prices that we are witnessing now could seem like a great bargain a few months down the road.

❖

Israel supporters really expect you to be intimidated when they mob your replies yelling at you and calling you names. Like oh no, the people who defend bombing hospitals think I’m bad.

Yeah sorry there’s nothing you can say to me to make me sit here and go along with the latest fake antisemitism scare or whatever the current narrative of the day happens to be. You don’t get to assault free speech throughout the western world to protect the information interests of a genocidal apartheid state and then demand I be silent about it. Yell, scream, call me names all you want — I’m going to call the bullshit what it is.

Good luck with your emotions about it.

❖

The other day I posted a 36-minute video on Twitter compiling various mainstream TV news reports about Jewish Zionists who were caught staging fake antisemitic incidents to advance their agenda, with links to each individual story. It got ten thousand shares and almost a million views. Normally when I have a tweet go viral criticizing Israel or Zionists I get high-profile hasbarists quote-tweeting me and calling me an antisemite, but nobody touched this one. None of them wanted to inadvertently bring more attention to that tweet than it was already getting.

❖

There are two types of people: ardent anti-Zionists, and everyone who ignored the video footage coming out of Gaza from 2023 to 2025.

❖

On social media I’m seeing Zionists trying to revive the debate about whether Israel is guilty of genocide, which is just silly. The debate is over, guys. It’s been over for a long time. Every relevant human rights group says it’s genocide. Zero comparable human rights groups say it’s not. The end. You lose.

I sometimes see Israel defenders saying that the average person who sides with the Palestinians lacks an intimate familiarity with all the facts about the Israel-Palestine conflict. Really that’s just saying the average Palestine supporter hasn’t been confronted by a trained hasbarist who’s learned to gaslight people into thinking genocide and apartheid aren’t happening. And it’s true, most haven’t. If they practiced arguing with such hasbarists extensively, though, they’d soon learn the hasbara arguments are fallacious and the claims are false.

An internet debate bro is always going to have an advantage over someone who doesn’t yet understand the debate. That’s why hasbarists do what they do; they’re taking their practiced debate tactics to people who aren’t familiar with them, like a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner taking a kickboxer to the ground where he’s not familiar with the techniques.

But it doesn’t take much learning to understand that all their arguments are piss weak. That’s why all hasbarists eventually collapse into empty name-calling.

❖

So here’s the thing: you actually do need to work on your trauma. Your inner wellbeing is in fact your responsibility.

I totally get the increasing pushback against the liberal emphasis on trauma and inner peace because of the way it shifts the burden onto the individual and lets the system off the hook — but the truth is we need both. The need for collective revolution doesn’t excuse you from your responsibilities for your own actions as an individual, any more than your work as an individual takes the blame off the system for the abuses it inflicts upon the collective.

It is true that our society’s focus on individual healing is used to deemphasize the need for systemic changes, but it is also true that many on the left use the abuses of capitalism and the fucked up nature of our society as an excuse to blame all their misery on the system instead of taking responsibility for their own inner condition and doing the hard, scary, confrontational work necessary to heal.

It is true that a huge amount of our stress and psychological issues are at least partially due to the economic and social pressures inflicted upon us by an unjust system. But it is also true that there are plenty of miserable people who have all their material and financial needs met, because they haven’t healed their trauma and done their inner work. Utopia could dawn on us tomorrow and most of us would still find ways to make ourselves unhappy until we bring the inner tendencies which give rise to our suffering into consciousness.

We need both sides of the coin, and in fact each side of the coin complements the other. Just as a healthy system will lead to far less misery and dysfunction among individuals, doing your inner work as an individual will make you much more useful in bringing about the revolutionary changes necessary for the rise of a healthy system. You’re not going to be any use to anyone in a revolution where you’re too neurotic to function or get along with other people.

We all have problems that can’t be fixed under the current status quo, and we all have inner wounds we won’t be able to fully heal right away. But that doesn’t mean we are powerless. Our happiness and inner clarity isn’t fully bound to the whims of the ruling class. We can’t fix everything, but we’ve all got a responsibility to do what we can, in our community and in ourselves.
