A student reported their scooter was stolen from the bike racks at Smith Adams Hall. The investigation is ongoing, and there is video of the incident, but the suspect has not been identified. 

5/5/2026 0820 hrs. Suspicious Vehicle, Adjunct Area

ACUPD responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of Cedar Crest Dr. The driver was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and arrested. 

5/3/2026 0100 hrs.  Alcohol Incident, New Mabee Hall

A student was contacted inside a residence hall and was under the influence of alcohol. A referral to the Dean of Students was made. 

4/29/2026 1530 hrs. Assault, Off Campus    

An ACU student reported a known individual assaulting her at an off-campus location. ACUPD took the report and referred it to APD for prosecution.

A student reported someone stealing their laundry from the laundry room in Dillard Hall. The person was contacted and the items returned. 

4/22/2026 1130 hrs. Harassment, ACU Main Campus    

An ACU student reported a known individual calling and messaging them repeatedly after being warned to stop. A report for harassment was completed.

4/16/2026 0915 hrs.  Fraud, ACU Main Campus

A suspect passed a fraudulent check with an ACU account number to another individual. The investigation for fraud is ongoing. 

4/15/2026 1000 hrs. Damaged Property, Golf Clubhouse    

An ACU Landscape and Grounds employee was weed-eating and slung a rock into a parked vehicle. A report for the damage was completed.

ACUPD responded to reports of 2 suspects stealing bicycles from Smith Adams Hall. The suspects were located a short time later in possession of the stolen bicycles. The bicycles were recovered and the suspects issued citations for theft and were trespassed from ACU properties.

4/13/2026 1130 hrs.  Hit and Run, Wessel Hall Lot

ACUPD responded to reports of a hit-and-run accident in Wessel Hall Lot. A report was taken, and the investigation is ongoing. 

4/9/2026 1300 hrs. Accident, Campus Center Lot    

ACUPD worked on an accident involving students in the Campus Center Lot. No injuries and only minor damage.

ACUPD responded to a traffic accident involving a golf cart and SUV at the intersection of Campus Court and EN 18th ST. Only minor injuries reported. 

4/1/2026 1500 hrs. Harassment, Wessel Hall    

A student reported that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her. A report was taken, and the suspect was warned to cease contact.

ACUPD responded to reports of an intoxicated student in Bullock Hall. The student was found to be under the influence of alcohol and underage. The student was released to ACU staff and referred to the Dean of Students for the alcohol violation. 

3/26/2026 1100 hrs.  Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information, ACU Main Campus

An ACU staff member reported someone was taking out a student loan in their name. An investigation is ongoing. 

3/25/2026 1000 hrs. Hit and Run, UP Parking Lot   

A student reported that her vehicle was struck while parked in the UP-parking lot. An investigation was completed by ACU PD.

ACUPD responded to and investigated an accident that occurred in the Sewell Lot. Both drivers were present and no injuries reported.

3/23/2026 1600 hrs.  Animal Call, Nelson Hall Lot

ACUPD responded to a dog locked in a vehicle parked near Nelson Hall. The owner was located and issued a citation for leaving a dog in the vehicle unattended. The dog was not injured. 

3/20/2026 0200 hrs. Theft, Wessel Hall   

An ACU staff member reported their bicycle was stolen from Wessel Hall. The investigation is ongoing.

An ACU student fell in the Campus Center Lot and was injured. The student was transported via ambulance to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. 

3/12/2026 1500 hrs.  Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information, ACU Main Campus

An ACU staff member reported fraud on one of their personal banking accounts. A report was taken and forwarded to the appropriate agency.

A student reported that a fishing pole was stolen from the bed of his truck while parked in the Edwards Hall Lot. CCTV is being reviewed, and the case is ongoing.

An ACU staff member reported their scooter was stolen from Zelner Hall. The investigation is ongoing.

2/25/2026 0200 hrs. Criminal Trespass Warning, Bible Building  

During a check of a building, a subject was found camping in an exterior stairwell of the Bible Building. The subject was previously seen on camera, leaving trash and debris in the area. The subject was issued a criminal trespass warning to leave and not return to campus.

ACUPD responded to reports of an alcohol violation in Dillard Hall. Several students were found to be under the influence of alcohol. The alcohol was seized, and the students were referred to the Dean of Students for the alcohol violations.  

2/22/2026 2100 hrs.  Criminal Trespass Warning, Edwards Hall

A former ACU student was contacted in the dorms at Edwards Hall. They were issued a criminal trespass warning to leave campus as they are no longer a student and cannot reside in the dorms.
