Hezarfen Ahmet Celebi (1609-1640) of Istanbul is the first human being to successfully fly with artificial wings. Hezarfen took off from the 183-foot tall Galata Tower near Bosporus Strait in Istanbul and landed successfully at Uskudar, on the other side. Sultan Murad IV who witnessed his flight was highly pleased but had to exile Hezarfen later due to religious and political pressure. One of the three airports in Istanbul is named after him. This animated short is directed by Tolga Ari, Romain Blanchet, Chung-Yu Huang and Rémy Hurlin. The film was directed by Alex Lovy, music by Scott Bradley who later composed the music scores of Tom and Jerry. <br /><br />The animation is about three little kittens who slipped out of their basket and went to befriend a dog whose kennel was close by. Initially the dog shooed them off but later developed a fondness towards the little creatures. But will the mother of the kittens take this thing wholeheartedly? She seems to be waiting for someone, preferably her father, to return from the sea. The video features a penguin dad and his son, little Pigloo. Pigloo is the main character of a Franco-German bubblegum dance musical project. This song was very successful in France, where it topped the singles chart for three weeks and eventually remained on the chart for 27 weeks. In February 2007, the German version of "Papa Pinguoin" climbed to 6th place in the German hit parade, partly due to the huge success of the video clip broadcast on RTL. The French version was sung by Heidi, while the German version was sung by Sara and Kerstin. The music was composed by prolific duo Ralph Siegel and Bernd Meinunger, who are normally associated with Germany as a composer-lyricist combination.<br /><br />The song is about the fantasy life of the title character - a bored penguin who wants to leave the south pole. The singers describe his desire to fly like a seagull and travel around the world, listing various places he visits in his imagination. Pingu comes around and he and Robby play with the sledge-barrel. They go down a long and winding hill twice - almost crashing into a sculpture both times. Third time they lose control and Robby falls off and Pingu crashes into the sculpture which collapses over him, trapping him inside. Robby goes for help, and gets an emergency paramedic and they both rescue Pingu. They wanted to create a contemplative movie, based upon moods and colors that they had in mind than a heavy storyline. They worked on it for 6 months. The background music was composed by Christophe Julien.<br /><br />They story is about a woman who decides to stay back in an abandoned city in the midst of a tropical storm. The different shades of color is worth seeing. The title means "Fox and Asian racoon’s cheat on each other". It was released in 1933. The drawing style shows the influence of Max Fleischer on early Japanese animation.<br /><br />It is the story of two animals, the fox and the tanuki (Asian racoon), usually associated in Japan with trickster magic. The fox frightens away a farmer walking in the woods and then disguises himself as a samurai and makes his way to a temple. The temple is haunted by a young tanuki who also has the magical power of disguising himself into any form. The tanuki tried to frighten the fox/samurai away but all his attempts failed.
