Until at night around 8 , we had dinner .. Mostly the time I spent today was sitting in front my PC doing work and assignments .. Well just had korean noodle with vege for dinner . Gonna sleep soon , just finished calling with bro kahkoon on the phone for half an hour plus , it’s just nice as always .. miss you there man !!

P/s Brisbane Day #101

Coles here was cheap as well !! Huge too !! They took over Pick and Buy here .. We walked around to the few malls around (the roads in Calam Roads are freaking wide) and at last had lunch at Noodle Box .. It looks small in the box but was compact .. After lunch , we bought our groceries .. Then went to Sunnybank which was a few stops away .. Just to have dessert there :)

Noommm nommmm nommmm .. Love it .. Just like snow flakes in Malaysia .. It’s inside Sunnybank Plaza .. We went back to Urbanest after that and it was already dark .. Was only 530 .. Right after home , i took a rest then started making dinner !! Having Pan Mee .. Homemade .. Yay !!!! Andrew and I had fun in the kitchen .. Later than SY came helping out with peeling the dough and putting them to boil :)

I personally think it tasted good .. But it wasn’t too much a success coz the garnishing didn’t look too good .. ahhaha :)

Hung out in Andrew’s room a while then back to my place doing skype with family .. Sleeping soon .. Tired and down with flu and some soar throat .. Night peeps ..

While I was downstairs , SY accompanied me too when she was waiting for her laundry to be done .. Then , around 430 , we went off to South Bank River Quay for Melo on The Green .. We were chilling on the green with big bean bags !!! And when night falls , huge lamps decorated the scene ..

Went back around 6+ and cooked dinner .. After that at night I did my web work .. And gonna take a rest earlier today , gonna be going to sunnybank hills tomorrow morning with Sy and Andrew .. Cheers ..

Just to get some work done that’s why not staying at uni during the break time .. I was quite happy with the news log and web assignment marks (forcefully OKAY) awarded .. I took a nap after coming back home from the 3pm tutorial .. Of course as usual , i called up grandma for a chat :)

Cooked dinner , had grilled chicken with potatoes then went off to my room to work .. Skype with parents before going to sleep .. Gonna bed now though coz having early lecture tomorrow .. Cheers ..

Dr Leonie left the lecture today to be handled by Ernest .. After that lecture , andrew and I went home .. I didn’t attend the web tutorial coz the tutor wasn’t gonna teach anyway .. Instead spend my afternoon well after lunch .. Andrew and I were working on BA assignment .

I went back to QUT with Raydo at 5 for TM lecture .. Just one hour later i went home again .. Was kinda lazy to cook coz was already late .. We went out for dinner to Subway then had Max Brenner ..

We continued on the BA assignment and called it a day .. Well productive day I would say .. Gonna sleep early coz waking up at 7 tomorrow .. See ya guys ..

Right after that , we went home . I quickly took lunch and left for meeting with Richard .. Today is the feedback day / evaluation done on me being involved in the project management here in Brolga .. Pretty much a positive feedback from Richard .. That adds to my portfolio here :)

Came back after meeting and called grandma .. Shared with her my happy moments .. As for dinner , we had carbonara pasta and after that , we had Cold Rock as dessert .. YES is very cold here tonight and yet we are out for ice cream .. Nomm nomm .. After that, came back and finish up some work then continue with assignments ..

P/s Brisbane Day #96

We did our tutorial work down there while waiting for dryer and left to city after it was done .. Andrew had his hair cut at Koogi .. Then , we went for groceries and lunch !! I went back to room after that and did some work .. Before I went to cook , I called up grandma and talked to her like half an hour .. it’s just happy moments !!

Headed to kitchen after that and today needed extra time for dinner .. I planned to make Chinese Savory Rice .. “Yao Mei Fan” in Cantonese .. Since we bought black sauce , it is so much easier to marinate (makes food taste better) .. I left the chicken to marinate for half an hour while preparing other ingredients for it … Onions, vege, and meat .. Finally we can start to cook .. !!

I made everything half-done then when the rice was about to cook , I put in everything and let it settle down for 20 minutes .. And that’s it !! We got our dinner !! Like the picture below .. Sorry for the poor lighting but I really love it .. Reminds me of grandma and mom cooking those .. *winks*

P/s Brisbane Day #95

We wanted to have a look what’s there .. We had our brunch at the place we ate first day in Brisbane .. Half time tea bar .. The mother’s day deal was so worth it !! Buy One FREE One .. We ordered Seafood Fried Noodle and it was so huge portion we didn’t manage to finish .. We took away for SY .. I had the soya milk too .. AWWWW love it man !!

Later , we walked around market square and bought some fruits and meat .. They were cheap !! Also we found some Asian cooking sauce .. The ultimate black soy sauce aka cooking caramel (imported from Malaysia – PJ , mom recommended Cheong Chan brand) .. We even went to Coles and we found out that some stuff are freaking cheap !! Like my favourite DIGESTIVE ..

We went back to city around 4 .. I was just too full to eat my dinner after that .. Just had Korean noodle for dinner .. Then I headed back to my room for some work .. Got it done and called up mom on Skype sharing with her and dad about Sunnybank :) Gonna bed .. Night guys

My jailbreaking on iOS 5.1 was successful .. Now I CAN DELETE PHOTOS IN MY PHOTOSTREAM as well as having a ORIGINAL SLIDE-UP TO CAMERA APP feature .. I do feel the battery consumption was a little bit more optimized too .. It was fun !! Welcome to the iOS 5 world , Eka .. Guess you love it much ..

Well, woke up this morning, without any alarm, that feels REALLY good .. I started to get my web work done .. It wasn’t easy to optimize the website with some JS feature to iPad .. Took me quite some time but yeah !! It worked …

When I was about to continue working on other features , suddenly , the fire alarm rang again !! This time was rather long .. Lizzie and Camile were at the kitchen that time , and all of us didn’t intend to evacuate .. Coz it was obviously a fake one :) Well , I continued my work after that until dinner time .. I had lots of vege tonight ..

Nothing much after that since my work was pretty much done , so I took a rest at night .. Productive day yo !!

The BA lecture hall today was rather empty and according to Greg , there were still many students not done with the assignment which were to be submitted end of the day . Some even just dropped him an email asking what to be included in the assignment !! WOW !!!

After the 2-hour lecture , Andrew and I went to the city for lunch .. He had his Japanese Bento while I waited for SY to come by and we ate sushi at winter garden .. We went to Dick Smith across the street to get some cheap stuff , they are having a closing-down sales .. SY and I got ourselves some iPhone casings :) And also dropped by Priceline Pharmacy to get heel balm . My heel is cracking !!! I went back after that . Called grandma for half an hour then went off to a jog ..

At night had spags for dinner .. That’s my day .. Decided to go down to lobby to get connection to jailbreak my iOS to 5.1.1 .. See ya in the next post guys :)

P/s Brisbane Day #92

Been held up with a lot of things today and tired .. But yet , it wasn’t the birthday I expected I gonna have here (in the good way though) .. Raydo, Franco, Suphey – thanks for the cake and the nice garden view .. Hehe .. Love ya … I came home around 3+ and was on the phone with grandma for half an hour .. As usual , I just felt happy talking with grandma where she shares with me what she was doing and what I was doing here .. It reminds me so much when I was younger that time , i shared with grandma ALMOST every single small thing ..

I took a nap until Andrew came knocking on the door .. He told me that we are GOING OUT for dinner .. For my birthday .. The surprise was not this until I saw Pao Shing was at Nandos holding some stuff which i later found out was cake :) It’s my favorite Tiramisu from DM Jazz .. She was the person behind all these surprises .. Thanks a lot ~ :)

After dinner , PS came over to my place , SY , Andrew and I , four of us had a session of tetris battle .. Sent her off around 10 in the station and I back to home doing my work .. And called family a while .. Lots more to cover for the night .. So yeah , thanks for everything today !! Night guys .. I AM OFFICIALLY 22 ..

Met up with Raydo and Franco for some discussion until 5pm and we went in to TM lecture .. Nothing much after that .. I walked home with Raydo .. Once home , started cooking .. Played Tetris battle a while with SY and Andrew then to work .. Happy birthday to myself tomorrow , guess gonna be packed with work , and assignments .. “Great” birthday I gonna have in Brissie .. So yeah , attended my sit-in meeting with Brolga after dropping stuff at home and i left again .. It has almost come to an end for this until next Thursday’s soft launch :) I went over to city in Richard’s car after that , thanks for the drop off mate .. Met up with ZH and chatted with him a while then I went back home ..

Called grandma on the way home and ya , that’s today .. Gonna continue with work and all ..

We couldn’t even cook dinner coz we didn’t get anything to cook .. Instead we headed to city , a chinese restaurant for dinner .. It was Woks Box , the one I went with pao shing the other time .. Food was GOOOOODDD ! Came back , finish up some tutorial and did my work .. Gonna bed now ..

After a while , we reached the Suncrop Piazza .. There was where the festival was .. Some events were going on there like lion dance , candle offering , choir .. I did the candle offering and made a donation .. Of coz my wish too hehe !! There were 3 huge Buddha statue there too ..

Came home for lunch after that , I cooked fried spaghetti today :)

After that , back to my room , getting all my tutorials , blog and logs done for next week .. Took me some time .. I took a half an hour nap after that went to southbank to witness the fireworks in conjunction with the Buddha Day Festival :)

P/s Brisbane Day #87

Later , we went home .. Had fried vermicelli for lunch .. The spicy one I had .. Chit chat with Andrew and SY a while after lunch and watch some shows .. Then I am back to my room for the web assignment .. It’s Day 3 with this thing , the hardest thing I find doing this was , the way the marking criteria specified , was TOTALLY different from how I produce a web system to my clients .. It’s antique I felt myself ..

It was already 8+ when I realized it was dinner time .. We made pizza tonight coz it’s the fastest thing and nicest thing to eat .. Right after that , we went to QUT for some leeching .. Ngek ngek .. I managed to finish my assignment there .. All left now is just fine tuning and polishing the interface .. Yay !! It’s done ..

Called mom once I was home .. Almost 1 am here .. Andrew came over to my room , we talked until 3 plus in the morning then I had to go sleep .. Going for Birth of Buddha Festival in South Bank tomorrow .. See ya guys ..

After class went to city for lunch with Andrew . I tried Top Sushi for lunch today .. It was better than Japanese Bento’s one .. I even took away 2 more set , one for me later tea time and one for SY .. She would love it so much .. Andrew and I walked back after that and I left him in QUT to home ..

Was down there at lobby with SY until late evening .. She was doing her laundry while enjoying our sushi .. LOL .. At night had something light for dinner then we went to Cold Rock for dessert ..

Once home , started my web assignment .. Gonna sign off here with my writing .. it’s already 2am .. I guess is gonna be another #GoodMorningGoodNight session for me again ..

Went on pretty smooth and just some comments from the tutor on our IT Services .. Went back and had lunch .. Called grandma while walking home .. I was happy talking to her .. Out of all the other days I slept late , I took a long nap this evening .. Until 8pm , I woke up and we cooked dinner .. Had Angel Hair Carbonara tonight .. I played game with Andrew a while before getting back to my room .. We played Time Crisis on his iPad with iPhone as controller .. Freaking awesome ..

Well , gonna make few skype calls to my family and friends so yeah , signing off earlier today here . See ya ..

P/s Brisbane Day #84

During the break time , that was my most stressful time of the day .. I got a call from my client and told me the site was facing some issues .. I had a long time fixing it even until my lecture starts .. No choice , had to get it done ..

Went back at night and didn’t cook coz was too late and not too much in the mood . We went to Subway and had ice cream as dessert .. I felt happier I guess ..

Guess what happened after that , the fire alarm got triggered AGAIN and later on we found out it was due to the hot water pipe leakage at 7th floor .. This time was worse , had to walk down all the way from 8th floor coz the alarm didn’t stop and started to ask us to evacuate .. OMG

Then continued with working on my PHP assignment .. So yeah , it’s almost 4 now .. See ya guys .. Gonna wake up a bit more later at 730 for a 8am meeting .. Ciao

Went to the post office in the city later on to get some stuff settled and met up with SY for lunch at Myer .. We walked around after that and I left around 2.30 to meeting for Brolga .. Came home around 5 and called up Aunt Shereen and others on Skype .. It’s labor day today in Malaysia so it’s a public holiday :)

Had grilled chicken and baked potatoes at night and continue my entire night with work !! See ya ..

Andrew and I went walking around when Sy were buying her stuff .. Used the Mac in Dick Smith to view my website .. Not bad at all .. *vain pot* .. I had sushi for lunch and after that were a quick shopping in Coles .. Thank God there were trollies .. Made our life easier ..

Did laundry once we were home .. While waiting , Andrew and I were doing some tutorials for tomorrow’s security class .. So yeah , nothing much at night .. Had dinner and went back to my room to settle my work .. Loads of work today and it’s end of month .. Even more work to do .. So yeah , see ya ..

P/s Brisbane Day #81

Then I met up with Pao Shing nearby Hungry Jack .. The funny thing was we walked up and down Albert St and Queen St a few times and ended up at last at Woks Box .. PS had it before and said was nice and decently priced Chinese food .. I had tom yum noodle and was really awesome .. We even had a student discount ..

I accompanied PS to shop around then we settled down at Myer McD for snack .. I bought Starbucks too later on while waiting her friends to come meet up with her .. It was awesome to get a frap in the cold .. Made me felt even colder :)

Left after her friends were there and had korean noodle at home .. That’s basically my night .. Working after that and had a call with Sonia at night :)

P/s Brisbane Day #80

Well , woke up early in the morning to complete my design for a client and it was so foggy overlooking the city from my room .. And it has been raining non-stop since yesterday .. Gosh !! I sure hope the people here in the rural area are not getting themselves into flood .. We left to the Southbank Cineplex around 3 after our lunch .. I made a perfect fried egg today (yay !!)

Since it was free seating , we went earlier but there are people who are even earlier there , but not too bad , seats aren’t that bad .. We collected our tickets with a self-checkin kiosk .. It’s just as easy as scanning the barcode from your confirmation email .. Movie was around 2 hours plus and it’s just great !! AVENGERS !! FTW !!!

We finished the show and found out it was raining heavily .. SY came over for us with umbrella .. Awww so sweet .. Thanks .. Called up with Eka once home and talked a while on Skype .. Nothing much at night after dinner continue with my work and talk with Dean a while before bed .. Good night guys ..

The lecture was pretty useful for BA assignment , and with the help from Nev , I guess Andrew and I gonna be able to get it done quite fast .. After lecture , we went to city for lunch .. I had sushi !! Yay !! First sushi this week .. Went home after that and started to reply emails ..

After dinner at night , called mom on Skype .. Miss her so much .. Didn’t talk to her for a week plus coz she went off to Japan for a short vacation with her friend .. I continue my work until 4am .. yeap it’s 5am the next day now .. So yeah good night and good morning I guess .. I was busy doing a system integration for Manager App

Now clients can download the invoices and quotations straight to their PC in PDF format even without a PDF printer driver .. Woots !! I am satisfied ..

We bought so much stuff today from Coles too .. Very heavy carrying it home .. Well , we started with assignment once we settled down until 8pm .. Cooked some chinese style dishes tonight ..
